Subway in Ballymena

Staff member needs people skills.. in Ballymena visiting for a wedding and popped in for quick sandwich with family, the female server was anything but helpful she didn’t smile and only grunted when asking what we wanted even to my 9 year old granddaughter .. it’s obvious she wanted to be somewhere else, no people skills at all in fact was unto rude so I won’t be back! Staff need to be taught how to interact with the public after all we are paying for the service .. food was good as always though as subway always is .. name badges would be good at least then we could have named her but perhaps she was having a bad day we all get them but first impressions not good

Clearly the staff are not fully trained, or just don't care!!! Order taken, sub filled and toasted, then it's left to sit for nearly 10 mins before it reaches the till where it's wrapped!!! One cold sub!!!! When I asked the girl behind the counter, was the sub still warm, she proceeded to stick her finger in it and replied "yes" with a grunt! This has got to be one of the worst places in terms of staff and customer service.

Staff in this subway are well below average compared to otheres. The team leader is the worst. Stops making your food to have a conversation with her staff for about 5 minutes then forgets what she was doing before hand. Also as soon as you have told the staff what bread you want they are calling you down to pay. Dont understand why such a big rush. The shop is also ment to close at 9 but they have the floor moped at about half 8 most nights ive been in, would make more sense to do that once actually closed.

Paper was stuck to a large area of ​​the sandwich. Sandwich was wet and soft. Disgusting.

Clean restaurant with decent priced food. Staff is very friendly and genuinely eager to help.

Spent about 50£ on 4 footlong. All were still frozen, not cold....frozen had to order lunch again... Even if u don't train your staff u should be able to know that frozen food is uneatable. Clearly u don't care.Shame on u guys.

The food is nice, but the people working rush and try to get you out as soon as possible.

I was unimpressed with todays visit as the app said I had enough points for a free side, upon arrival at the till the un native woman then told me I didn’t have enough points for a free side meaning I was unable to purchase the other items I ordered, the woman then told me I had no option and had to buy it although I didn’t have enough money, she then scoffed at me and give dirty looks and threw the item I was unable to afford behind her it was unpleasant customer service

Hey subway ballymena I usually never complain about service at all in any places as myself has worked in the same environment as subway but I can’t help myself but to complain about the service last night in the subway at the pentagon I came in at 8:53 last night and your subway closes at 9 pm whoever was moping the floor said to me sorry we are closed and I replied back kindly do you not shut at 9pm the girl whenever moping the floor looked to her mate that was working and basically gave me the vibe that she was being negative and couldn’t be bothered severing me I said “just leave it” and walked out the attitude of whoever was moping the floor was stinking and you can look at the cctv to prove I came in at that time. I get it that it’s a Sunday night and you all want to wrap up early and would be different if it was 1 minute to nine but if you say you shut at 9 means you close at 9 ? Very disappointed

Slowest subway iv ever been too. No teamwork at all 3 ladies working, quiet a huge que around 12 people 1 woman making all the sandwiches while the other young women was standing around doing nothing waiting for the oven, no people were in her area (woman with brown hair,braces and glasses) and the other woman just waiting for people to get to the till (ginger hair woman)they could of at least helped get the que down a bit faster instead of standing around waiting for people to come to them whilst only 1 woman (short brown hair) was doing all the hard work. Really felt sorry for her to be honest. Team work is needed more in this subway. People were walking in and back out as the que was getting to long. After a 20 min wait another woman appeared from the back and took over, after a further 15 mins they didn't even have what I wanted...was absolutely fuming at this stage . never will I got to that subway again exesially my 1st time at it.

Food was tasty enough but don't think staff read properly. Ordered 2 footlongs and a 6 inch for the family and 3 six inch subs arrived. Disappointing when it's all in writing for them so can't be a communication issue.

I did not like this place. There was an old woman and a girl who worked in the shop and they are very racist. There is no good treatment with people with dark skin. I did not like this place

This is a lovely clean restaurant with well placed seating area. Food good, especially goo value for breakfast sub etc. Unsure of names, but lovely pleasant staff, we always see same girl, blonde hair and such a pleasant manner whatever time of the day! Thank you.

Half the stuff didn't arrive and what did arrive I wouldn't even give the dog...

Lovely friendly staff. Very spacious new store offering great sandwiches. The lovely Holly was the manager and was friendly,welcoming and had a lovely cheeky smile.

Fast service. Friendly, polite staff. Fantastic choice of food, which is inexpensive when compared with other chains.

Getting there in car is difficult if Mc D is crowded. The location should be managed better

The staff are all very friendly in this subway. My meals have always been made to a high standard. They still serve full sugar drinks which is fab, as I don't do diet drinks. You just need to ask at the counter for them. For anyone worried about social distancing thing, they only allow I think it's 9 people in the store at a time. It's all clearly laid out

Usual subway, bit of a pain parking wise on a saturday evening as McDonalds drive thru in same area...

A very quiet establishment, overshadowed by the nearby McDonald's drive thru. Which makes for better more personal service at the subway with plenty of seating always clean and tidy .

Cheap meat,and tasteless subs. Service very slow and you have repeat your order three times. Staff not very friendly.
