Subway in Angus

Ordered a footlong meatball marinara and it was extremely tasty but the wedges on the other hand were disgusting (partly cooked but mostly raw and cold)

wee shop in the middle of Montrose! It's a typical subway store with excellent staff! It'd be great if it has a toilet tho

Thank you so much to Scott and the other girl at Montrose Subway today, we live in arbroath and we ordered our food and card machine wouldn't let us pay with our phone and we stupidly didn't have our bank card. Scott thankfully had his card and let us transfer him money and he paid with his card. Thank you so much such a kind gesture we are very grateful

Had stopped in Montrose for a short while and decided to go to the Subway for lunch. As per usual staff were effecient and friendly and my friend and I picked our choices. As there was an empty table in the shop we sat and ate our sandwiches.

Shocking experience after waiting over 15 minutes in a small queue of four, when I reached the front of the queue I was told I would have to wait for them to catch up with their Internet orders. After standing almost another ten minutes, the three staff members were still going through Internet orders. The whole way they dealt with the situation was flawed and badly organised. With three staff members, it would make sense that one member of staff solely worked on Internet orders and the other two members of staff worked with the public who had made the effort to actually come to the shop. After standing nearly 25 minutes in a queue that originally had four customers I said to the lady staff member this is ridiculous and left. Due to covid my friend was standing outside in the rain and ended up soaked. Sadly I have mobility problems and standing for that length of time has left me in pain and my son did not get his meatball sub. There was no apology or response, they made no attempt to speak with the customers on site. When I left there was another five customers behind me. It really was a farce and incredibly disappointing. This was my first and last time visiting the Montrose Subway. I recommend staff training in organisation and customer services. We do enjoy subways, this was an experience at Montrose and it does not affect our overall feelings of the subway brand.

Subway is one of my favourite places to eat when I’m hungry but not wanting an actual meal. The Montrose branch is on the main high street with plenty of parking nearby. There is a ‘sit in’ area, but no customer toilets. Staff are friendly and efficient and the food always looks fresh and tastes great. Huge selection of fillings and draft Pepsi/Max/Diet or selected bottles/hot drinks to wash it down. If you like freshly prepared sandwiches, made exactly how you like them, then I recommend you visit Subway.

Kids love going here for lunch. Clean store with friendly staff :)

Coffee was a bit off today but sub sandwich as good as normal.

This is part of a national chain and the standard here was the same as elsewhere, with reasonable food and quick service

Subway has been asked to sign up to better welfare for chickens and continues to refuse to do this even though it is aware of the suffering it causes to chickens by not doing so - therefore I will no longer be giving Subway my custom .

i had a veggie patty from here and had a very upset tummy afterwards. Not sure if i will be back again or if the veggie patty was that bad.

Usually love Subway and go with my friend weekly but the last time I went I was horrified by the service. The workers are trained to ask you if everything is ok and if you want any sauce, but the person who served us didn't ask us if we wanted sauce and put hardly any vegetables on. As we were going to ask for them to add more, they just wrapped it and made us leave. My friend also had onions put on hers when she didnt ask and then the server realised, took them off and placed them back with the other onions. To finish, I wouldn't recommend Subway anymore and if you must go remember to ask for everything incase you get the same terrible server as we did.

Subways is obviously part of a massive chain of food outlets but it does provide good food. The service is also very good.

It is what it is, shop clean, small seating area to eat in and lots of veggies to choose from to add to your sandwich. Staff friendly and helpful. Good coffee.

The food is really good I would've given it 5 stars but sometimes the wait there is quite a while especially during lunchtime hour when the kids of the academy come out

My partner and I come in here a few times a month. Cannot fault a subway there so good. The staff are friendly and the place is clean. :)

One time before I went to pony club at leysmill. I went to subway and although people say that it's a fast food place its actually really healthy and even does fun things for kids in the kids pack

Had a lovely subway today girl serving was very polite and helpful but found the other to employees very unprofessional as I had to watch them kissing and cuddling while I ate.

Friendly and efficient staff. Sub was freshly prepared in front of us and you get to choose your salad options and sauce as well as having it hot or cold.

Come dice il titolo della mia recensione: sta nel mezzo. Localino come tanti altri, arredato come tanti altri, dove si mangia come tanti altri. Il cibo è mediamente buono, la possibilità di scegliere pane e cosa metterci dentro è carina, purtroppo le materie prime non sono... entusiasmanti. Posticino dove andare se siete con amici e cercate un luogo dove mangiare qualcosa di appetibile. Diciamo che non è indimenticabile.

What is there to say about Subway, tastes the same everywhere from Taipei to Montrose. I always have the same thing. Chicken teriyaki on hearty italian with everything on it (except their slimy tomatoes), mayonnaise and bbq sauce - delicious.

As far as junk food goes, subway is my favourite. However, I have found the service to be lacking ... in all locations, including Montrose on previous visits. However, on this occassion, there were 2 young girls serving, and they couldn't have been more helpful, or patient....they explained about different sizes of sandwiches, different breads, etc to my elderly dad - who was a subway virgin. They chatted away, and were so friendly and welcoming .... they could train ALL the Subway staff nationwide in customer service. The food was stadndard grub, but enjoyable none the less. The only reason for marking down slightly, was the condition of the place .... it wasn't as clean as I would have hoped for a sit down, and the floor had an unexpexted slope inside the door (I assume to comply with dissabled access) and witnessed 2 people stumble on it. Would I go back? If those girls were working, definately!!!! Oh, and my dad .... he says he wants to go back too .... he loved his sandwich, and the banter with the girls :)

Yes indeed, a Subway is a Subway, is a Subway, so everybody will know what to expect in the way of choice, etc. Having said that, this particular branch has a nice view onto the busy High Street and we like to eat our half subs and drink our coffees while watching the world go by. Well worth a visit.

Fresh food, looks so good and taste amazing. Very nice and smile and friendly service, thanks lots. Lots of bread and vegetables and chickin or beef. 4 cakes and hot drinks or cold. Palatable price :)

It's a Subway so the food and pricing are as you'd get at every other Subway, so the only thing that I can rate is the staff - and I do! As the only non-pub, non-restaurant place to grab coffee in the evening in Montrose,...

As my title says. It's not bad. It's not wonderful. It's a chain sandwich shop that meets the same standard as any other subway you might find around the country!
