Subway in Carmarthenshire

Asked the manager if they had gluten free bread and they said yes they have plenty so I joined the queue, which I had to wait around 20 minutes to get served, with three members of staff doing sandwiches. When I eventually asked for my order they rudely replied saying they didn’t have gluten free bread. Staff were rude and taking their time with everyone’s meal, while chatting away with eachother. Won’t be going there again. Do not recommend this subway especially if you have a dietary intolerance!!

Food is always burnt for some reason? Ordered online and they misses out 3 ingredients? And gave us the wrong crisps?

Went to Subway in Trostre Llanelli tonight at 8.32 pm to be told yhey are closed when they close at 9pm absolutely disgusting 3

Not usually one to complain but this was particularly bad!. Ordered through Just Eat. Two salads with double meat. Order arrived. One salad was fine the other had no meat whatsoever. These things sometimes happen so I called the trostre branch directly to see if this could be resolved and I was met with a young girl who argued blind with me that she had prepared the salad herself and had definitely given double meat in both salads. When I explained that this is not what had arrived, instead of trying to find out why, she continued to argue with me that I had received the meat in the salad. I asked to speak to a manger….. “they’re all on holiday” I asked if there was an emergency on the premises such as a fire who would they contact? The reply was “ a manager. But they wouldn’t come”. I asked if someone could call me back? She said that yea they would. She hung up without taking a number…. Shocking customer service. 6.10pm 02.06.24.

I use ubereats and twice I’ve ordered my kids Ben and jerrys ice cream and they don’t put it in! The driver just says it’s only his job to pick up what they pack! I’m not ordering anymore it’s so wrong!!

When arrived saw woman at till ask for a bag and she was left struggling to put her food in the bag and dropped stuff on floor no help from staff. Sandwich maker was nice and efficient but when sandwiches came out from being toasted were left to sit for a while before asking what salad was requested. Another member of staff then asked what salad we wanted and I wanted mayo I asked if I could have more and was ignored and they wiped the bottom of mayo bottle on the paper my sandwich was on and on the bottom was southwest sauce and it ended up in my sandwich but no one was bothered by that. Would not recommend

Staff need re training !! staff so rude in communicating with customers Couldn't even get a simple order right as they messing round behind the counter with each other Chicken tikka was so dry and tasteless salad looked as if it been there for weeks on end

Staff were rude and racist towards me, charged me extra. They had a deal on the window saying you get a free kids meal for every foot long you buy. I bought 2 foot longs and when i asked for my 2 meals, they refused to give it to me. Treated me different compared to other customers that came in. This has to be the worst subway that i’ve been to. Please do not go here as they will rip you off. They also did not toast my bread well!

Food was stone cold and items were missing.

Been to this subway a few times and it's closed before the closing time which online states closes at 9 and they have closed before 8 Disappointing when it happens more than once, wasted fuel and false online times or they keep choosing to close early

Ordered a 6 inch tuna sub meal, ordered online, they ran out of the drinks selected but didn’t update Uber so I didn’t get it and have to chase a refund myself due to their error. Next, get the sub which is a shambles. Looks like a tiny scoop that’s been spread across to make it look like it’s more than what it is. Called the store, they agreed they don’t believe it’s enough but wouldn’t do anything. Attitude is “not my problem”. No accountability and no refund offered. 100% dissatisfied.

Ordered food over the phone when it came there was a missing foot long and when I rung they said it wasn’t their problem and refused to give her name to write in a email tried ringing back and they hung up on us 4 times

A bit disappointing, don't sell flat breads anymore, I found when they heated up the sandwiches they were not hot right through. Shame.

Was given wrong bread, was missing harsh browns and vegan cheese. Which costs extra so you would expect them to be in there. Had basically no meat on both subs. My partner's meatballs were burnt inside. Very disappointing, I would recommend going to the subway in Llanelli town if you can. Never have any issues there and staff are always welcome there

AVOID. Worst Subway sandwich I have ever had. Ever. Bread was most definitely stale (rock solid) on both sandwiches, chicken was HARD (looked uncooked), salad was mushy, just awful. For the price, what a ripoff. Not a patch on its sister store down the road (by Aldi). Not even in the same league. Was meant to be a weekend treat and just thrown money in the bin. Don’t do it to yourself and stay well clear.

Unfortunately, 2 out of 3 of the staff phoned in sick. The poor lady was on her own with delivery orders and walk ins. It took 3/4 of an hour to get served. I can't fault the lady, she was under a lot of pressure. Food was good, the only reason for the 1 star loss was purely on the fact that only 1 staff member.

We visited at 3 pm on Sunday 2 July but walked out before purchasing anything due to the abrupt and extremely rude staff. The way they spoke to the customer was unacceptable, the portion sizes were tiny, there were hardly any drinks in the fridge, the menu was limited and the cookies were broken. The staff spoke aggressively towards the customers and everything seemed like an effort. I will not be returning and would rather travel the extra 9 miles to the Cross Hands store where the staff are always helpful and polite!!

Absolutely appalling staff member nothing but rude to all the customers and just has a horrible attitude towards working there

Terrible service, seen more live in a morgue, try not to hire the most gormless people in the county, the girl there just didn’t care whatsoever and threw everything without any care whatsover, on evening shift 30/05/23 @ approx 19:45

My order came with no salad and it was freezing cold,squashed and the chicken looks uncooked

Good value for money, sandwiches made to the way the customer wants. A great selection of salad food.

Slow is a compliment, thought I was going back in time. Worse sandwich I've had from subway, plus messing other peoples orders up in front of me.

Counters were filthy,staff barely managed to open their mouths to speak,what a rude,miserable bunch. Customer service is obviously a lesson they all skipped, along with higene. l Wouldn't return even if they paid me too.

The staff were ignorant they grunted rather than talk to you, 3 times I had to ask for the type of roll and size of sub I wanted, it got worse when I asked for the salad, half a turn for the salt and pepper, the girl served the hash browns unheated and when it came to passing the roll over she put it on the counter and walked away, my partner and I decided to sit in and eat, that's when things got interesting, the cleaning of the work surfaces, rather than close the fridge lids, they sprayed the cleaner directly to the surfaces and tried to wipe but the majority of the mess ended up in the salad trays, one girl came out to wipe a table and pick up some rubbish from the floor wearing the same gloves, went back to the counter and loaded a tray full of cookies, that's when we left, I couldn't eat anymore after what I witnessed I feel sick to the hygiene I witnessed.

Staff were friendly, food was as expected, portions were great, very filling, and good selection The only downside to this location its very small inside some seating enough for maybe 4 or 5 people, but the space is utilised as well as it can be

Ordered 4 sandwiches which we would pick up from store. Ordered via the app, paid, had confirmation email to pick up order at 8.05 pm. We arrived at 8.05 pm the to find the store CLOSED!! However the sign on the door stated open 9am-9pm. One worker was still out the back so knocked the window only to be told the shop closed at 6pm and we would have to request a refund! When asked how we go about this we were told 'I don't know, you will have to look on the app!,' very unhelpful. Why does the app let you order? Why are the opening times wrong on Google and at the shop? Do not order from here unless it's in person or you may not get it. Absolute shambles.

Very poor service today. 30 minutes for 4 sandwiches to be made by the slowest person (with no other customers in the store) Not very clean, no teamwork, not an absolute care in the world whilst dealing with my order. I had to repeat myself so many times, it was like they wasn't even listening. I felt like that person didn't even want to be there and just didn't give a monkeys about anything or anyone. Not even a smile. After all this my sandwhich wasnt even nice and was just put straight in the bin. Also was a bit confused to why they sliced about a inch off my sandwhich? This is probably the only review I've ever given about anything, I couldn't believe it. Because of this experience, I will never be eating from subway again.

Love a subway very clean and friendly staff

Not what I'd expect from a Subway. It was very dirty. 3 young girls service very polite to me personally but swering out loud in conversation with eachother, while there was customers and children in the shop. I don't know who was the manager or if there was any management in the store at all. It seemed to be a hangout for the girls working theres friends. This is my second visit to the shop and I had a similar experience the first time. I won't be going back again. One other thing when the server made my sandwich they had a fabric bracelet on with ties. These were wipes all over my salad, not nice for a large food chain. I'd suggest a lot of training.

lovely food, should check up on the staff though. more life in my ham and cheese sub. what a miserable bunch.

Brill for a lite snack also great for work lunches. only given 4 stars as they could do prawns with Marie Rose sauce

Wonderful experience NOT, flies nasty smell inside, food didn't look appetising, well would you eat anything with flys buzzing around the food. staff were super rude, so didn't eat just coffee to go. Which was not bad Would we use again... Not in this life time I think not.

Me and my partner were left waiting outside for 30 minutes today to order for to then walk in and be served by the most slowest and laziest women. We were there on 14/07/21 @ 7pm, several people walked away after waiting for so long! The atmosphere in the store between the both women was very on edge and as though they had argued! The younger lady, was so slow making the sandwiches, you could tell she couldn’t even be bothered to be there. Such a shame because I go there a lot and it’s usually a great service, but today was just pathetic

Great service by the people working there. They started to get a bit of a queue and people waiting outside. Thought they worked well together and efficiently to attend everyone as fast as they could :)

Iv had a subway before freshly made hot realy nice only coz I was waiting for it.. But I ordered one through just eat... Never again I asked for tiger bread but what I got was just an ordinary sub roll... Anyway I ordered the meatball sub.. When it came it was cold and crushed.. I didn't take a pic as it was for my daughter who is Autistic and she grabbed it no matter if it was hot or crushed.. Next time I will make my own.... Easy ..

The staff and only girls that I've seen at trostre subway are a great bunch and very friendly and great personalities, me and my wife love going there and is always great food and prepared nicely.

Even though the shop was just preparing to open, the staff served with a smile and pleasant chat. Fantastic customer service going out of their way even though they didn't have to. Can't say enough.

1ft long Meatball and cheese never disappoints + track & trace done effectively.

Throughly enjoy the choice of rolls available.

The menu hasn't change for a few years and the quality varies from different locations. Overall, a healthy(ish) alternative to what on offer in the high street.

Love subway. Staff are great with special requests and do well to avoid cross- contamination when concerning allergens.

Never tried subway before. Whilst shopping we were ready for a snack.There are several outlets in the retail park,but thought we would try something new. There are several tables available to eat in,but the majority of people whilst we were there just call in for a takeaway. The two ladies behind the counter were very pleasant,and certainly know their job very well. Realising I was new to the procedure the young lady serving me showed me the selection of breads available and the full range of fillings were clearly displayed on the wall. I was offered a big selection of salads to accompany my selection in the roll and then topped up with mayonnaise. All this for less than £7.00 for two.....we will certainly be back.

Subway as a company have gone downhill recently. However this branch was fast, efficient and friendly when serving our food. 10/10 would reccomend.

Long queue. Didn't wait. Bought meal deal from tesco instead.

We used vouchers which were put through the door, as we hadn't been in a while. They've got lots of new options now. Good quality food and drinks.

Always clean, staff friendly, easy to get to, parking sometimes difficult but otherwise good

Very busy when we went on a Sunday however we left as everyone was crammed in queuing to the door, must be popular but I can't comment as I didn't try the food! Maybe next time on a less busy day

Breakfast mega melt is good. But it's not really a cafe you can sit down in. Two tables, both cold and noisy. Coffee is bitter too.

The shop is nice and clean,the food is of the highest standard and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Always a great standard at Subway! Could do with putting experienced staff on during busy periods to avoid the long queues however, still an excellent standard. Get the app and collect your points for free food! Try to avoid peak times as it does get a lot busier!
