Subway in Daventry

This place not deserve anything. One star is too much for this place. I definitely give In minus. Food, service, hygiene people they all are very very very bad. Do not Go to this place otherwise you will get food poisoning or diarrhoea.

I would not even give minus Star for this petrol station Subway. This petrol station subway deserves bellow then one Star. It’s very low level of service, food quality and customer seevice. I have been so many times inside this petrol station subway and every time it’s been 🤮. Food taste not fresh and left over from day before also Customer service is very very bad. Waiting more than 25 min to get serve because less staff and they work on petrol station till as well. Staff never wash their hands when they come from petrol station till or outside. Staff using phone while making sandwiches. Staff behind the counter touching her nose and other part of the body, No hygiene has maintained at all in this petrol station subway. It so disgusting to get food from petrol station subway. I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO GO TO THIS PETROL STATION SUBWAY EVER.

Poor service, with 2 other people waiting...I waited the longest (15mins) The service station cashier rang the bell and I called out several times too, before the shell cashier said to go in behind the wall. The worker was there, and abusive too.....i left as didnt want that aggressive person making my food. Maybe he was hard of hearing? But was skilled at being agressive.

Maybe 4-5 months ago I would have voted 4 stars at most but more recently after reopening its been god awful. Worker had earphones in and could barely understand what I was saying all while basically shouting it at him, was stingy with the ingredients and when I'd ask for extra, they would literally add a singular piece extra (such as gherkins, he put maybe 2 more slices on tops) all while distributing everything horrifically, half the sandwich would be full of one ingredient while the rest would just been full of the veg. Whoever it is doing the sandwiches atm needs firing and whoever it was working 4-5 months ago needs rehiring

1 person serving so lunchtime is half an hour stood in a que as you can imagine it's looooong

Placed order and was cancelled after waiting an hour and a half. Called Subway to enquire as to whether this was a driver issue and it was available for collection but was continually hung up on. Finally spoke to someone and the order had never prepared and was once again hung up on

Not always a 5* experience but is ok for a quick snack. Staff are polite and respectful.

Food just the same as other subways but the guy working there was very pleasant. Location can be awkward being attached to a busy petrol station.

Seriously the worst subway I've ever been to. Orderd in the app arrived and wasn't ready ended up waiting 45 minutes for my order. Only 2 staff there that clearly had no idea what they were doing and had to keep phoning their boss. If I hadn't paid on the app I would have done what 2 other customers did and walked out. Very disappointed and certainly wont go there again

Today there was a wonderful man dealing with our order. Smiling and helpful. I wish more of people luke this in retail.

Mediocre ingredients, toasted but still cold, almost a fiver for a 6" sandwich 👎

First time using this subway as it was the only one open yesterday. Pre ordered online, me and my boyfriend got home and found the chicken and cheese missing so ended up with a salad roll. Me and my boyfriend both woke up with food poisoning this morning so we know it wasn't anything else. If I could give less that 1 star I would.

Had to wait ages with my daughter, despite only one person in front of us. Very stingy with fillings, they don't really listen, and we were overcharged.

Just wish I didn't have to call the staff to serve me as they are always out the back.

It's a place to get a subway. They are all over the world I honestly would be surprised if you have not already had one. As to weather I'd recommend. Well it's better than starving and I quite like some things they do. But I'd not have it as a 1st to 4th choice.

Subway always good value and plenty to choose from. Parking and petrol right outside. A bit more healthy than other quick food places.

Staff dont know the difference between one serving of bacon or double/triple even. Same sandwich evrrytime but the price always varies one day its a fiver one day its a tenner. Gone down hill massively over the last few years tbh.

Seemed to be under staffed which made service very slow. Good was fine.

Poor customer service First in line and last to leave. Lady serving was rude and glared

I have not Been to a subway for 7 years as I had bad meal and I just been to this subway Very poor old stale old bread used in food and the staff that don’t understand what I trying to saying to them but it was very clean looking, I would not go to any subway again I should’ve known better I will just go to M&S for a sandwich from now on 👎

I finally tried the Meatless Meatball Maranama. It was good. I wouldn't go OTT about it but it's a great option for vegans and vegetarians. I would definitely choose it again.

Whenever we visit there is never any meatballs left. Went this evening at 21 00, all lights were on and the open sign was on. States the opening hours are until 22 00 . He refused to serve us and told us he was closed. Very disappointing. Why close a hour early?

Used to be pretty good but recently it seems new people have taken it over. Quality has dropped massively and they scrimp on everything. Much rather go to the subway in the town centre.

Closes at what ever time the staff want to go home. Always greated with a glum face. Never going here again!

It's a bit of a lottery here, depending on the staff, seems to have a new face every week. One week best prepared sub ever, the next...looked like a dogs dinner.

They open and close when they want,3. Time left without breakfast , today was the last time I visited Subway for sure

"Try our new lovely cheesy garlic bread"... no thank you. She put two ice cream scoops of garlic butter then 5 scoops of sauce!!! what can i say it looks like roadkill and tastes like you could kill and army of vampires..

Pleasant but busy branch of Subway- avoid Friday lunchtime or you will spend your entire break in the que.

Visited just before Christmas and ordered a festive sub half was through making the sub the assistant decided to tell me they have no stuffing or Chutney!! Very very poor.

When you buy a salad for £2.90 and the subway worker puts on about 1 onion slice 1 cucumber slice etc... What a joke.. Then when you ask for more onion she literally adds 2 more onion slices. Was 90 percent lettuce...

Doesn't seem to open until 07:30 despite saying 6am on here

Ordered breakfast deal and have been told not have "too much salads" as its will be clasified as BLT and incurr extra charge. Not sure how breakfast deal can become BLT?? Most of Subways give unlimited salads with breakfast deal, but not this place. Not good.

It's great. A wait at lunchtime but that's to be expected.

Good produce and great staff. Plus they pre-warm sausages before doing the toasted mega breakfast, so much better! This outlet is a thousand times better than the one in town plus it's far easier to park.
