Terrible staff that get our order wrong every single time.

Found papa John's has become my favourite over pizza hut. The women "who is the best" is always friendly and ensures your order is correct. Only ever order when she's working as the chap doesn't seem to care and gets the order wrong as doesn't listen properly. Foods always real tasty and hot and delivery is good if you don't order at prime times for traffic. Well worth a visit,I used regularly and would give a 9/10.

Went in there to grab 2 bottles of dink and the guy behind the till gave me a wierd look and sugested I went across the road to waitrose, i asked him if he me to leave and he let out a massive sigh and asked what i wanted. Uncessery rudness, needless to say I felt very unwelcome and ill be going to the dominoes next door next time I want a drink or a pizza. Disgusting attitude, no need for it at all.

Can anyone get me in touch with the head office please.. having a major issue with this store. Awaiting a refund from two weeks ago! Manager is very rude and non helpful, buts in when you’re trying to explain what has happened. I quote “if I didn’t care about your order then I wouldn’t follow it up” how disgusting. Been told to wait another 5-7 days for a £64 payment…. What a joke and the fact you can’t even speak to someone what is helpful. Disgusting company, disgusting attitude! Been told different things by different staff and in all honesty it’s a joke…. According to said manager we all make mistakes lol! How stressful over a “mistake” that the company have made.

was charged three times for one order over £90 taken from my account and still haven’t had it refunded. Been ongoing for 2 weeks and physically can’t speak to anyone!! Manager refuses to speak to you and it’s gonna get to the stage when I go in there and kick off if I am honest.

Best takeaway pizza. The deals have got worse overtime. The potato tots are awful. Barely cooked. Always add premium cheese

Nice pizza easy online ordering with online tracking makes it good,driver said was here when he wasn't but all in all no major problems

Staff are lovely. Shame the prices are a rip off. I got a medium pizza (8slices), and a 500ml tango orange. £24 quid! Unreal

Basically, you need to follow these rules if you use Papa John's Daventry. If you are going in store to order check the following : Has the person taking the order actually listened to what you are saying. A lot of the staff don't seem to be able to use the till, as a result they aren't fully paying arrention to you as a customer. Watch through the little window on the left as your order is being made. 3 times I have had to shout through the glass that they are getting my order wrong. Now for the worst bit. Never place a delivery order, only ever go in. Deliveries are always late. Tonight's was an hour and a half from point of order to delivery. The order was placed at 16:10, so there is no way they were that busy. When it did arrive it was cold - what a surprise!! The driver couldn't be bothered, just saying call the manager. What is the final indication that not all is right is that the management don't seem to be monitoring these reviews and commenting back or taking action to improve.

Normally pizza is fine no problem but tonight had to wait over an hour for the pizza and missed one of the sides , pizzas were warm not hot like normal and garlic side was over cooked

Took 2 hours 20mins to arrive! The staff were not interested or willing to support. Got told ‘that’s Papa John’s for you love’ when trying to get some answers. Awful customer service, food when it did arrive was Luke warm. Will never order again.

Terrible - don’t waste your time or money! 2 hour wait for cold pizza. They won’t answer the phone, so you can’t even complain…… Go to Dominos or one of the great independents.

Hot and fresh, best Papa John's I've ever had.

Terrible service. Just been charged £3 more on our standard £17.99 order 'because of the wording used'. When I asked why it was more it was because it was put through as a build your own instead of 'delete this and add that' on a listed pizza. Don't have a current menu still weeks after the changeover and are therefore advertising at the wrong prices. Also told 'we don't know if we can accept AmEx as payment, and was not prepared to try over the phone. Absolutely terrible, would score 0, but 1 is as low as it goes. Good bye PJ's, hello Domino's!

Ordered a collection, arrived at the collection time and then had to wait another 20 mins.

I'd strongly suggest taking your uber eats system out, you can't keep your uber orders open if you are not open in general, and then to make things even more inconvenient waiting for an order that isn't going to arrive stops people from ordering from somewhere that IS open in time. If this isn't your fault then get rid of uber altogether as it's making you look bad.

The food is ok, but you really need to change your delivery staff. I’m leaving you this review so you will be aware of what kind of staff you have there. So today, 09/03/2022 i have ordered some food for delivery. When the delivery guy was close to my location, he called me and said that they are calling from funeral services and I asked what does he mean and he said that it’s just a joke and that he is close so if i can come out. I went outside and was waiting for him 5 minutes and when he came he asked why i was that aggressive on the phone, which is not true at all. I don’t think it’s normal for this company to make jokes with their customers especially jokes like this.

Could not be more happier with not only the service of the staff in the store and their drivers, but even if we did encounter a problem, they were always so so happy to help. The food has always been great and never had to complain once. Thank you so much guys, please keep up the great work as this is my favourite pizza takeout!!

Pizza didn't arrive till half hour after app said it had been delivered and that was after three phone calls. Then the food was cold and of poor quantity quality.

Absolutely disappointed in time and service the bloke 'JOE, told me 30/45mins and did not turn up for 1hour 20 mins and the food was barely warm there a joke company who take the pxxx

Please do not order from here if you have any allergies, dietary requirements or expect any basic level of hygiene from this establishment. I ordered a vegan pizza that arrived with the vegan garlic sauce which contained real meat (pepperoni, ham and sausage meat) and dairy cheese despite the “vegan” and “quality checked” label being displayed. I was absolutely horrified. Im lactose intolerant and heavily pregnant. When I spoke to the restaurant their response was they’ve got new staff making the food and took zero ownership of their mistake. For somewhere that offers a “vegan” menu I presume you require no basic dietary training to work in this chain and management has no interest in checking the orders are completed correctly before delivery. The lady on the phone wasn’t horrified about the mistake just said they’d send me a new pizza and missing how serious the situation is. If staff can’t distinguish the difference between real meat/dairy and vegan/veggie and then I’m extremely concerned for anyone who eats from this place. I dread to think of level of cross contamination inside their kitchen. I will never order from this place or this chain again. Anyone who suffers from allergies will know this is no laughing matter and every chain has a responsibility to ensure this is taken seriously.

Awful. After waiting 45 minutes for our pizza to travel 6 miles , we called the shop to be told “it’s coming” When the food finally arrived it was room temperature. One pizza appeared to be missing tomato sauce and the extra requested tomatoes, both pizzas a s sides all tasted exactly the same. The dough was undercooked and stodgy. Will not be using here again

Three times we've made the mistake of ordering from Papa John's and three times they've messed it up. They claim our postcode takes them somewhere else (nobody else has this problem) and their drivers can barely speak any English so don't understand directions. Today's delivery took nearly two hours (an hour of which was the tracker claiming the pizza was 'being checked'). When the driver finally called to say he was lost he was insistent that the pizza would still be hot and he just needed a little help with directions. Which he couldn't understand. We told him we didn't want the pizza and he seemed to think we were being unreasonable. Tried to call the store and gave up after ten minutes on hold so we've had to contact customer service for a refund. These people don't deserve to be in business. Just rubbish.

waited for an hour, I called them and they told me after 5 more minutes I was waiting on the street, it came 20 minutes later, the manager is lying not first time . This pizzeria doesn't deserve a single star, maybe a half .

Wasn’t overly pleased with my order. Ordered ‘The works’ large pizza 3 of the slices had absolutely no cheese on them whatsoever. The Italian sausage on it was revolting , tasted like ‘spicy pork’, so removed that It arrived lukewarm, and had to go straight into my oven to heat up.( luckily I’d already warmed up the oven, so it only took 10 minutes to heat it up) The garlic and four cheese bread was hot , and quite tasty, and the popcorn chicken was reasonably warm ( still heated up in oven) Overall it was acceptable, but for £21, I wouldn’t spend that again unless they put toppings on properly

BEWARE. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEIR WEBSITE FROM GOOGLE VIA VISA EXPRESS CHECKOUT!! When you order from their website from Google search, you go to pay for your order using visa checkout and it redirects you to a page that subscribes you to "completesavings" for £15 a month after a month's time and makes you put your card details in then redirects you to the actual papa jhons website to complete the order and put your details in again to propperly pay for it. Not sure what the checkout process is like without visa checkout but just beware people.

2nd time ordering from papa John's and they seem to forget my ice cream every time also they forgot a couple of toppings from the create your own pizza I ordered.... such a disappointment 😞

Amazing service from Papa Johns in Daventry! Lovely food, arrived quickly with all food still hot. Can’t ask for better than that, great value for money, highly recommended!

Good pizza although the garlic sauce was too buttery for my liking.

First time ordering tonight, friendly and professional from ordering to delivery, delivered in 30 minutes and pizza's were great, will be using again.

Another new pizza outlet at Bowen Square. New entrant heating up competition. I wish them well and hope they will stay for long.

Never had a pappa johns before, and I won't bd having another. First time ive ever had to throw away a pizza. So sweet, you would think you were eating a cake. The bitcoin promotion also a scam, first code I was sent, already been redeemed, second code nit recognised. Do not recommend.

I rang to order a pizza at 22:30 and they claimed they were closed although they are open until 23:00 the staff were very rude over the phone and refused to take my order. I find this unacceptable!

Waited over 2 hours and no food ever arrived. Couldn’t get through on the phone to find out so gave up

Delivery arrived slightly later than 8.30 (pre ordered at 5pm). Driver apologised for being a little late and said its extremely busy due to the store opening. Food arrived hot and is delicious, Cant fault it really.

Quality made pizza and tasty, very good collection offers with value for money.

Had pizza and sides from here last night and it was absolutely superb. Pizza was piping hot and full of toppings. The sides of chicken were also delicious. Quick delivery time aswell. Woukd highly recommended 👌
