Gran lugar. 2 4 1 cócteles hasta las 8 pm. La primera vez de mis amigos. Me encantó. Gran personal Sentado junto a un hermoso fuego abierto.

Suburban es el único bar al que vale la pena ir en Wimbledon. Gran variedad de bebidas, happy hour todos los días, personal amable y buena música. ¿Qué más necesitas?

Como colaborador sénior en Tripadvisor, he revisado cientos de lugares en muchos países, pero este lamentablemente es mi única mala experiencia. En general tienen buenas críticas, pero esta está a millas de ella. Suburban solía ser uno de nuestros bares favoritos en Wimbledon, pero ya no era lo mismo. El ambiente es bueno, así como las bebidas, pero el cambio de personal ha sido la principal desventaja. Reservamos una mesa para 13 personas el domingo 26 de mayo de 2019 fin de semana festivo para celebrar un cumpleaños. Pedimos bebidas ya que pensamos que era hora feliz toda la noche, el barman dijo que terminó a las 8 pm, así que lo aceptamos. Mi amigo que reservó la mesa luego dijo que el gerente le dijo que era la hora feliz toda la noche, y luego volvimos a preguntarle si tal vez podría hacer los otros cócteles, ya que es 2 - 4 - 1 que pagamos, en lugar de eso. le pidió al gerente y el gerente le dijo que simplemente nos tomara fotos por las molestias y que las próximas bebidas serán 2 - 4 - 1. Para ser justos, se disculpó y el gerente nunca les dijo que funcionaría toda la noche hasta las 2 am. Nos hizo 13 tomas de lo que llamó "nuevos cócteles que están probando", básicamente una combinación de todas las sobras de sus cocteleros. Les preguntamos que si tienen una bandeja, contestó una tabla de cortar, pero eso lo hará ir a la cocina. Así que en vez de eso nos dio una mano a nuestra mesa. Muy útil. Para empeorar las cosas, mis amigos ordenaron después de mí y me cobraron bebidas normales no en 2 - 4 - 1, luego el chico le dijo al otro cantinero "Te dije que les cobraras la mitad". Decepcionante de hecho. No es de extrañar que esté vacío y todos estén en el bar opuesto, que tiene una mala reputación. Dice mucho

Great venue, central Wimbledon. We held our office celebration drinks here. I would have rated it hi but the bar staff were rude, absent, drinking. Raised it with the manager, who was equally unapologetic, which explains

Los increíbles cócteles del barman James y los dueños Mike y Scott fueron muy serviciales e hicieron que mis amigos y yo nos sintiéramos muy bienvenidos. La noche de cigarros y whisky fue increíble, ¡debo hacerlo de nuevo! Buenos precios y gran lugar!

We went with our daughter for the happy hour on a Friday. Staff were really friendly and cocktails good. Every table was pre booked so although it was less than half full there was nowhere to sit. The lovely female member of staff put some stools together in a area near the door for us. It was quiet but the area in the middle could possibly do with an extra couple of tables with stools as empty and really emphasised the emptiness of the place, could possibly add some atmosphere too as there wasn’t the buzzy vibe there usually is in a cocktail bar. We’d give it another go though, maybe a bit later in the evening though?

This is such a great bar for cocktails, all the bar tenders make each drink with such precision and they’re all super friendly while doing it. I’ve always been on a quiet evening and theres still a cosy atmosphere. Love the fire in winter and the staff came round and gave us popcorn which was such a lovely added touch

One of my favourite places to go in Wimbledon. great atmosphere, great drinks and great music. nice outdoor area and the staff are very friendly too. Happy hour is great as you get 2 for 1 drinks. Best place to be social in the area, highly recommend

I spent last Sunday evening with my friends in Suburban bar & lounge. It was the first time, and we will defenetly go back again. We got there for the happy hour and the drinks were a bargain with the 2 for 1 offer. Cocktails were very good and served with a smile from the 2 bartenders,Viktor and Luka. I had a porno star martini to start with and it was one of the best cocktail I ever had in London, my friends had a lady with balls and a pina colada and they were very happy with their choise. The 2 bartenders were polite, funny and very helpful with the choice of our cocktails the place looks really good, and the music was spot on..... A rock bar is what posh Wimbledon needs.

A regular for folks at work. The cocktails out here are quirky and fantastic. Plus they have this 2 for 1 offer till 8pm (?) so it's very reasonable. The bar menu is limited so it's probably one area they need to look at but it's well worth a visit as it doesn't get too noisy and you can have a great evening. Also the bartenders are very friendly.

Accogliente locale di Wimbledon con area esterna. Il personale è davvero cordiale e molto preparato su cocktail e drink sia alcolici, sia analcolici. Per chi vuole bere bene, questo è il posto giusto!

Love this place, so glad my mate suggested this little gem of a bar. The barman was super friendly and the drinks were lush. Love the ambiance and decor... such a nice bar.

I have visited this bar several times - the make the best Pina Coladas! The prices are extremely reasonable, especially when its 2 for 1. Would definitely recommend.

My friends and I used to come here on an almost weekly basis around 7 years ago and it was our FAVOURITE bar, there was always such a good atmosphere as it was full of people who just wanted a good time there was never any aggro in there, bar staff really friendly & great music. as we've got older and settled down our nights on the town have lessened, but we came back to our old haunt Suburban last night. I was pleased to note the bar staff, although all of course different since our days as being regulars, are still really friendly, I must say the atmosphere isn't what I remember it to be and it wasn't as busy although this could be due to the football and tennis that is currently on. Despite this, suburban will always have a firm place in our hearts and I'm sure we will return for more fun!

I am perhaps a little harsh in my view of this place - this is due to the fact that I was so excited to see that there is actually a 'proper' cocktail bar in Wimbledon. Whilst there are plenty of decent eateries around there is nowhere in the town centre if you fancy a proper drink made by professional mixologists. The other reason for the bad taste in my mouth (excuse the pun) is that I was rather sick all morning today. Now I wouldn't usually attribute this to a place where I have consumed only beverage. However my boyfriend saw the bartender pass the cocktail shaker to the manager to smell if it was 'off', which he affirmed and she threw it away. She then proceeded to use the same ingredients to make the cocktail. This is just the beginning. I asked for 'Raging Bison' and my boyfriend asked for 'Long Island Iced Tea' - what we were served were Mojitos and something yellow with a strong taste of Amaretto or Frangelico. Oh and Gomme syrup. A whole load of Gomme syrup. I find this practise both economically and gastronomically offensive. Making your own sugar syrup is cheaper and the result is not disgusting. The glassware is boring (markets are great for cheap and interesting glasses), there was no Lime with the Long Island (details like this are so key in a place where drinks are the focus!), the seating outside is totally inefficient, there was a lot of crushed ice involved which I understand as it's happy hour but I personally would rather spend £8 on one drink that has the correct measures, the list is like something from the 80s and there were two people working but my boyfriend brought his own drinks out. He didn't even think of this as an issue but to me they missed a trick for some good service. My boyfriend said the lady who served him was polite and lovely so the service was technically fine but in this current market a place that isn't up to date, slick and most importantly CLASSIC will not last. I can see from the poultry amount of tripadvisor reviews and that we were the only people in the bar that it isn't doing too well so I advise the management to take this constructively rather than negatively. Go to places like Satan's Whiskers or Gibson bar as market research - they aren't astronomically expensive but they do what they do with class. Smaller menus, classic drinks and a pride in what they do. Suburban bar is a great space in a great location, it seems such a waste. All this after a half hour visit!

30 minutes to get served during Happy Hour. Barman decided to take orders from around 5 customers who where each getting large rounds, and mix the cocktails all in one go (mine included and I was only wanting 1 drink!) why take my order and then proceed to mix over 20 drinks at a time is beyond me. He was also serving his friends who had just arrived over people that had been waiting at the bar a long time. Was told to speak to the Manager if I had any complaints, which I found strange as the manager was there watching! tried to offer me a shot as a sorry for waiting, seriously am not bought by that! wouldnt go back as I dont have a lot of time to waste!

Couldn't recommend this place more, the staff are fantastic and really well trained and their drinks menu is seemingly endless. I don't think there is a nicer place to drink on a summers eve in this area of London. The food is good but it is not the major selling point of Sub, lounges and cocktails with a pretty outdoor area are its forte

We came here on the off chance for a late drink after the Slug and Lettuce closed and all I can say is the staff made the night for us, they came out with free shots and two of them were joining in dancing, there was a great atmosphere in here. The DJ played some Classics and overall we all went home happy, will go here again.

Love this bar! Even on a busy Saturday night we managed to get a seat. Surroundings are relaxed and unpretentious and drinks reasonably priced. Definitely will return!

We all work in Wimbledon & often frequent here on a Friday after a long & busy week……. Half price cocktails until 8pm (from what I remember!) and the staff are just brilliant. Always laughing & helpful. Great atmosphere, great drinks, great staff, great Jam Doughnuts!

Came here after all bar one and it's by far the best place in Wimbledon that I have been to so far! For a start they an outside smoking area with heaters and comfy leather stalls. Also they have decent bar staff and In the future they will let me in in my choice of clothing as today I am smart casual which for me it a huge bonus! Nice choice of beers and whiskies. Will be visiting in the week!

We came here as part of a hen party & thought it was great. Music on the Saturday night was, I would describe, as cheesy alternative. All songs we knew but not your usual "YMCA" stuff etcWe missed the 241 cocktail hour unfortunately but had fun anyway.It was very relaxed, no pressure.

If you find yourself in Wimbledon on an evening, try stopping by the Suburban for a round or two. They have entertainment some nights, and the singer that we had this night was fun and very entertaining. This is NOT your typical pub, but rather at bar with entertainment. It is the favorite of a friend of ours who lives in Wimbledon.

I came to Suburban for a quick drink with a friend on a Sunday evening. We went over to the bar and the bartender with a strange half shaven half ponytail hairdo stared at us awkwardly for a few minutes which had to prompt me to say "uh…can we order a drink?" He took our order and half way through making the drinks he asked to see ID (we're both early thirties) and neither of us did have ID on us. I looked around me, thinking that this was strange and realised that we had walked into the bar just after a group of young french students. I think the bartender must have thought we were part of their group?! Although this was quite clearly unlikely, I told him that we weren't part of that group and had just come in for a quick drink. So he then stared at us awkwardly for a moment longer before saying "I trust you" and then charged us for the drinks. We went and sat down, the bar was very empty as most people sat outside smoking, except for two girls with practically fluorescent cocktails who were screaming and giggling, having loud inappropriate conversations and flirting with the bartenders. Unsurprisingly moments later the girls were sat on the bar-top being even louder an more obnoxious. Quite frankly I could't wait to get out of that place on this occasion.

I am not a big drinker, neither am I a Bar crawler. . . On this occasion I went on a birthday invitation by a friend . . They produce outstanding Cocktails made while you watch and wait! The Bar Attendant puts on a whole show while he makes your cocktails! On this occasion I ended up having six cocktails!This Cocktail Bar and Lounge is very relaxed and friendly, I made plenty friends in a lovely vibey atmosphere!
