had a great breakfast at stumbles, staff were amazing and food was really good highly recommend will definitely go again

Wow.. We had an amazing Sunday lunch with family. We were blown away with how delicious the Sunday lunch was. The beef melted in the mouth and the roast potatoes and vegetables were cooked to perfection. I can't understand how this lovely little bistro isn't packed all day everyday because the food was amazing. I'm looking forward to coming back in the summer.

Visited here recently with my Dad and youngest daughter. The breakfast was lovely, and the atmosphere was good too. Lovely bistro, would recommend a visit.

4 of us lunched at Stumbles yesterday. 3 of us had steak, one had bubble and squeak etc. Everything delicious. Staff lovely too. So pleased everything still so very good under new ownership,

A lovely atmosphere, good choices of dishes, great portions, delightful and attentive staff. Will make this a regular choice for lunch and dinner.

Excellent reception and table service at this delightful little restaurant, so popular you need to book! We had a delicious Sunday lunch - roast beef and Yorkshire pud, with good selection of fresh vegetables and puddings to die for. Good value for money too. Al fresco dining in court yard - if Devon weather permits!

From the moment I entered the bistro, I was greeted warmly and made to feel very welcomed indeed. I had a full English breakfast and a pot of tea. The food was extremely tasty and the eggs were just incredible! I asked for poached instead of fried. They were cooked to perfection and so orange!! Another delight was the choice of fried potatoes or bubble and squeak. I must say, the bubble and squeak was delicious. The food was of exceptional quality and looking at nearby cafés and restaurants was the best price too.

Good food at reasonable price. Very busy, book ahead, especially on auction days. Would go again, ask for a table away from the door!

Dropped in for lunch, lucky to get a table as rest were booked. Made to feel very welcome, staff very friendly and helpful. Food arrived promptly, plates and food piping hot. Food was tasty and good sized portions. Had to try the desserts and they were equally good. Would advise booking in advance for market days otherwise you might be disappointed to find it booked solid.

Had my birthday party last night family and friends 15 of us excellent food super service couldn’t fault anything top drawer

A lovely warm welcome and great service. There were six of us . Some had the starter and main. Some had the main and dessert. Nobody was disappointed. The food was delicious. Would recommend eating here if you are in the area .

Terrific food and wonderful friendly service in lovely South Molton. Visited when in the Area for a family wedding. Highly recommended.

We normally visit Stumbles for coffee & cake but this is out first evening dinner experience. After 5 minutes of arriving our order was taken, 25 minutes later our sirloin steak arrived, which was cooked to both our liking & chips were very tasty. We also had a lovely sweet. Excellent fast service, very friendly & a good atmosphere. We will definately be returning and will be recommending to our family & friends.

What a find this place was for my partner and I on our regular motorcycle day trips to North Devon - warm reception, very professional service, excellent freshly cooked food, super quick service and a dine outside patio if the weather is ok - highly recommended !

This is a rant as tic Bustro / Restaurant. We stopped for lunch, and had simply the best sandwiches in Devon! The staff were friendly and helpful, even getting a fresh water bowl for our dog. Would definitely recommend and return here.

Excellent menu, friendly and efficient service. Restaurant was very busy but our food arrived in good time. Relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely return.

Can’t say too many times how good this restaurant was Food was excellent and great value for money with a good selection to choose from. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts and the atmosphere was calm and relaxed despite being busy Would definitely recommend either for lunch or an evening socialising

Excellent food and service. We had the roast beef roast pork and turkey lunches. All were delicious. We will be back.

A very welcoming atmosphere, comfortable uncrowded seating, friendly staff and excellent well priced food. Went twice, once for coffee and once for a lunchtime meal. Had the fish pie, delicious and plenty of it, followed by the trifle, sooo good.

We visited the Bistro restaurant, Stumble South Molton this evening with my parents (a party of 3 people) can I say whoa! what a very warm welcome and a lovely meal and sweet with alcoholic beverages, we were so impressed that we have booked a table for 3 for the Christmas day menu. The whole experience from the welcome and enjoyment of the meal that we had we will use this establishment again. Very enjoyable and welcoming. Friendly, courteous staff.

We have just been to stumbles for a Sunday roast and can highly recommend it. We had the beef and pork roasts and genuinely looking at both plates it was difficult to decide who made the better option. Both were cooked to perfection and we were unable to find any faults. It was like having the best home cooked roast ever without the prep and washing up! For sweet we had the homemade lemon and lime cheesecake and the homemade Blakewell tart. WOW. Genuinely the best Blakewell tart I have ever eaten and the cheesecake was so light it melted in your mouth. Seriously call them up and book a table you will not be disappointed. We enjoyed it so much we have booked a table for us and friends for next Sunday
