Best chippy in the area...we have delivery and it's always hot when we receive in Crabbs Cross. My partner had the mixed kebab wrap which is huge! I'm surprised they make money of it its so big and could easily feed two! Fish is lovely and the chips and curry sauce are great. Tastes as good as fish n chips by the sea. Delivery is on time and staff are really friendly. We use them all the time for a treat and highly recommended

So the hubby spends a small fortune on fish and chips and a mixed meat in a tray with salad all sauces no chill, comes home and I get a slab of meat little sauce and absolutely no salad, Hence food is dry and not nice, if simple orders can’t be taken what’s the point, very disappointed of course not gonna go l the way back wait again whilst the rest goes cold, I knew a time this would never have been the case

This is a first class fish shop, not many shops like this! Service 5 stars , always friendly, food fresh and tasty 💯 Have been coming for years and it’s never disappointed us, we won’t go anywhere else and we always recommend to others👍

Used to be well run and a pleasure to visit, however now, unfortunately, a bit tatty, with lack of attention to detail. Not helped by Customers being allowed to eat food whilst hanging over the counter awaiting more food. Portions now verging on the minute and accordingly much over-priced, not particularly enjoyable. Such a shame for what used to be a 'valued asset' in the village.

Excellent fish and chips not grease pure taste. Good value for money friendly staff. Lovely fish and chips large portions nicely cook fresh.

Yesterday we ran an event and provided Fish and Chips to everyone. We choose Studley Fish Bar as the supplier as they were local and the staff were very helful on the phone and face to face. They arrived slightly late but the quality was fantastic. Both the fish and chips were hot, very tasty and good portions. They were that good you would have thought they had just cooked a single portion. Feedback from everyone was very positive. I would have no problems recomending this Fish Shop and will definately use them again both personnaly and for the business.

I have been to this Chippy a few times since Theo and his wife left and St Valentines day we had fish and chips curry sauce and mushy peas and the meal was not good. the fish was over cooked and at the prices i expect better, now, i only buy chips and possibly a battered sausage so all is good except, The Bullying ! constant criticism from the younger man to the older Man. Father & Son ? Bullying in the workplace is illegal and if it is his Father, shame on you Son. Martin Studley

We love the fish here. It’s always very fresh!!! The chips are too!! Always a busy chippy...so you know it’ll be freshly cooked while you wait..

Just had a meal from here the chips were cold and grease oil needs to be change fish was cool and soggy all in all will not use again

New owners took over but Always get great food and customer service from them and the staff will be back for more

Recently changed hands, original owners brilliant,best fish and chips in area but sadly new people have wrecked this place,soggy chips,slow service overall not good,had to eat chips because I was starting but gave me awful stomach upset,will never go again,such a shame to see it going down the pan, literally!

By far the best value for fish in the area, the only drawback is parking which means I cannot always use them when I want to - they're on a main road and parking spaces next door are very limited

This place deserves it's kudos. It's well organised, the staff are well trained (except in the art of doing eyebrows, some of these young girls look a right mess with massive arched brows drawn on) and the owner is always on hand with a smile and gently keeps an eye on them. I'm a regular because the food is great, the fish are always larger than average, and I could only make two improvements - I think they ought to start serving beans and gravy as well as peas and curry, and PLEASE - lose the stupid cardboard boxes for serving fish, they are a waste of money. Paper is fine and doesn't leave as much stuff to recycle, the Fish bar doesn't need the boxes, we don't need the boxes - they don't make your food seem better or higher end, the food speaks for itself - and they limit the portion sizes for chips - they are just an affectation you can do without!

Our local family run fish and chip shop/Bar that serves brilliant fish and chips etc.We have tried the rest and this in my families opinion is always consistently good with piping hot food,crisp batter and decent quality fish .Children's box is good value with a meal,drink and sweet treat and kebabs,chicken and pies plus are all served by friendly staff.
