Stubby's Pizza in North Norfolk

Don’t be put off by appearances. On first sight Stubby’s looks like any old fast food place, but in fact it serves freshly made, delicious pizza, albeit with a thick crust round the outside. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. It’s fairly small and I’d recommend booking in the evening.

We first visited for dinner without a booking and we couldn't get a table for 1.5hrs. On our next visit to Sheringham we remembered to book and see what makes this place a hot spot, not just in Sheringham but for pizza fans UK-wide! Pizza dough is make on site and recipes are a mix of classics and Stubby's own creations. The menu changes regularly & best to see the latest pizza's on Instagram. Pizza is incredibly good; crisp, light base, tangy tomato & generous amount of toppings. Will definitely visit when next in N Norfolk to eat in or takeaway and eat on the sea front, a 3 min. walk away.

Superb pizzas prepared and oven fired in front of us. Fantastic crust and base. The lager was a bit unusual, but I enjoyed the new taste experience! Nice staff and lively atmosphere. £35 for two fabulous pizzas and a couple of beers was, we thought, good value.

Great little find. Some unusual pizza toppings, pretty good quality overall. Sadly they didn’t have the starter we wanted available and the drink selection was a little minimal, however we will definitely be back next year for the pizza!

We were recommended Stubbies by someone we had met in Holt and we were not disappointed. It was Carnival week and we could only get a booking after a few days. Very tasty pizza for all of us. If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll be back

Really enjoyed the pizza, but the service and welcome, or lack of, left a lot to be desired. Tried to get a table, but they said they couldn’t accommodate us. It was before 8.30pm. There were people just about to leave, but the server just said ‘no, no tables available.’ We (4) ordered takeaway, when we came back to collect (after 5 minutes), there were free tables, but they didn’t say, ‘hey you want to sit and eat here?’ I would have eaten elsewhere if I could, if they don’t want the business, or extra business that comes with sitting in the restaurant - drinks, starters, puddings - fair dos. We won’t go there again, even though the pizzas were good.

I don’t write many reviews , but Stubbys is exceptional, quality for food so tasty , had the Shroom pizza , very good quality olives and roast peppers on the side , and the hummus is the best I’ve ever tasted. Comfy chairs

Fantastic tasty pizza, rated 10/10 by all the family from age 11 upwards. Great variety on the menu from the usual toppings to more interesting. Highly recommend the Swineapple! Good, speedy service in a relaxed atmosphere - felt like you were in a California beach town. Don’t miss Stubbys - you won’t be disappointed.

The Pizza here is the best EVER !!! Nothing comes close to how good they are, and i have eaten pizza all over the world ! And just when you think they can not do anything to make it better they come up with the “Big Mak “ pizza , it is AMAZING!!!!! Staff are great, we are so so lucky to have this incredible restaurant in our town !

Been here a few times. As usual the pizza’s were amazing, good choice of sides and drinks and the place has a nice chilled vibe. The only thing that spoilt it was one rather unfriendly staff member who came and asked us if we wanted anything else, we said no thank you so she just put the bill on the table and walked off. We hadn’t asked for the bill and were still drinking our drinks. There were five of us and we had been there for just under an hour. Thought it was a bit rude really.
