Stratos in Preston

Second time here for the bottomless brunch, probably the best value for money one I’ve been to in Preston. The food is amazing, Prosecco/cocktails are good quality and the staff are lovely, can’t do enough for you. Highly recommend.

So pleased Stratos is back open! The venue is as stunning as ever, service was attentive and friendly. Zoe served us and she was quick to replenish drinks, and gave good advice on food selections. The menu is amazing, with a selection of small plate dishes that’s the best I’ve ever seen/tasted, and also mains. I’ve been twice since reopening and had small plates both times, they were cooked to perfection with quality ingredients.

We had the small plates, delicious and fresh, Zoe was super friendly and professional, we had the bottomless brunch, what’s not to love ! Highly recommend 😊

Underwhelming Disappointed. Service was non existent. It was 20 min before we received a drink and that was after flagging someone down. Meals arrived before drinks. Meal was cold and in a puddle of congealed lamb fat Lamb was tough. Duck was lovely. Wines overpriced.

the place beautiful and well kept , the staff a little less not all of course, for the second time a girl with very rude ways makes us understand that we had to leave because it was less than an hour to close, this happened the first time. last Saturday instead we entered it was midnight the same girl begs for something about us in her native language my Romanian friend understands what she said and we left immediately removing the disturbance. I'm very sorry I liked it but if there is a similar staff who gets tired even to take an order there is no way that we back there .

A few friends and I went out and had a beautiful evening and a tasty dinner at Stratis Very helpful and nice staff ,they make you feel so comfortable Food is tasty and really nice plate arrangement The restaurant looks very nice and European

Came with 3 friends that I live with for bottomland brunch, if I’m honest the food was average but the service from Lewis’s was exceptional, he really Made sure we felt welcome and didn’t leave us without a drink, it’s a shame there isn’t more veggie and vegan options on the menu but what we did eat was good. The service definitely made the experience for us.

Beautiful surroundings with excellent service. I’ve visited many times and never been disappointed. Stratos offer a huge pizza, or 3 beautiful sharing starters (bigger than tapas) with unlimited prosecco or selected drinks for £25. I can’t fault this place on surroundings, service, or food.

We came here for the bottomless brunch back in August and it was so fab I’ve recommended it to numerous friends who have all been and all agree! You can pick either a pizza or a couple of tapas style dishes along with bottomless prosecco, bloody Mary’s, aperol sprits etc. And my god do you get your moneys worth!! the portion sizes were fabulous and the drinks really were bottomless- unlike a lot of places you go to where they only give you two drinks in the two hours. The staff are really friendly and the food is amazing!! I’ll definitely be going back!

We called in here last night for a cocktail or two. Lovely cocktails, 2 for 10.00. Lovely place, bright and airy. Staff are lovely.

Went in as I’d seen TripAdvisor and we were in that area Lunch visit but we were the only ones in there which is a bit off putting really We had the tapas menu and it was just OK. Just seems like its missing the mark somewhere Squid was a lot of batter Nachos - the cheese had solidified on top Prawns were good if not a touch salty Friendly staff But won’t return

I have been here afew time and I really enjoy the atmosphere, the food is beautiful but the cocktails are even better! the skills of the barmen and women are fully on display. I love to watch them at work making so many cocktails at a time, making sure everyone gets served quickly but also to the best of their ability. It never fails to impress.

We went here for bottomless brunch and it was so good! You choose either 3 tapas or one pizza and then a choice of a bottomless drink. All the food is amazing!!! Fresh and massive portions. We had a mixture of tapas and pizza and there was no complainants. The wings were a favourite as well as the Brie, wow! The drinks were certainly bottomless too and they weren’t afraid to give us as many drinks as we wanted in the 1.5 hour time frame. Will definitely be going back!!

There's a meal for everyone here, washed down with a decent cocktail. Have been many times, for lunch, for dinner, with partner or friends, and some nights just for drinks. Great atmosphere, helpful staff, good selection of drinks and very very good food

We ordered 4 of the 'sharing plates' and fries. The menu doesn't make it completely clear that it's a tapas style option. These dishes were very generously portioned. The garlic mushrooms on bread has really good flavour to them - some places it can be bland but this was really good. The chicken satay was delicious - the sauce was similar to a korma - but it was delicious and perfect for mopping up chips. The duck rolls were very tasty and felt handmade. Our only complaint was the fishcakes were fairly bland but still edible. The dressing that complimented it worked well though. Also didn't like having no salt & pepper at the table - though I could've asked for it. Food is value for money and all brilliant. Love how cool and modern the place feels - but yet still casual. Service was good BUT one of my personal peeves is when plates are cleared before we've completely finished. A young lady kept taking plates away. I was hoping to use the rest of the previously mentioned chicken satay sauce for my chips but she took that away as well as the small side plates we were using to share the meal... then came back again to clear more plates before we'd finished. Would return thank you!

The food is brilliant and so are the cocktails staff are friendly and made the experience pleasurable. I highly recommend the Gambas pil pil one of many great dishes served at Stratos.

We visited the restaurant on Saturday afternoon to celebrate our daughters birthday and had a great couple of hours. Great value cocktails with the 2 for 1 offer - the kamikaze was a favourite! We started with a fish sharing platter which was great. We then had the sharing plates again another good offer with three dishes for £15.90. Special mention that the duck spring rolls, chicken satay and gambas pil pil were all amazing. Just had room to share a cheesecake and this too was great. Lovely staff with really friendly service. It is a real treat and we enjoyed our visit.

We recently spent an evening here with drinks and something to eat . We intended to stay for only a short time , so ended up staying there for the entire evening . Service, food drinks and atmosphere persuaded our decision in staying . Would definitely recommend ,if you like to eat and drink in a nice classy venue such as this one

My fiancée and I hosted our Engagement Party here last weekend and had an amazing time. With a party of 35 people to look after, from start to finish the staff went above and beyond to ensure that our guests were attended to at all times, drinks were served promptly and there were no issues with any of the food served, which for serving 70 plates of food from a select menu was very impressive and the quality of the food was also great. I would fully recommend Stratos for anybody looking to host an occasion like we did as we had a great evening made so by the setting and service we were provided throughout the night.

We had the pleasure to have a wedding reception at Stratos and they closed the entire restaurant for us to make it extra special. The food was simply amazing and the service was brilliant and the drinks were fab (including the non-alcoholic ones). Will definitely do another party here again!

Went for a tapas lunch the other day probably our 6/7th visit. By far the best place in Preston. We've tried everything and can't find fault. They also make a brilliant cocktail 2 for £7.50 can't be faulted either.

Visited stratos with my wife and her mother and sister. The place was very quiet as we arrived at 2.00pm. However the food we ordered arrived reasonably quickly and was very good. Drinks were reasonable. Would go again.

I returned with my friend just 6 weeks after our first bottomless brunch at Stratos. We enjoy meeting up an a late Saturday afternoon for a catch over tapas and drinks and we were delighted with the offering at stratos.

Had a lovely Sunday afternoon - friends, bottomless prosecco, quality food, excellent service and ambience - what is there not to love

Visited on a work Christmas do. Starter was 2 small spring rolls thrown on a bed of rocket. Main, very small salmon fillet in a neon yellow sauce, overcooked ratouille and burnt potatoes, sweet was supposed to be salted caramel tart but was actually chocolate tart straight out of a supermarket packet. There was no Christmas table decorations. The service was horrendous, food was just put down in front of you, worse than a school canteen. Will not be returning.

Amazingly yummy pornstar martinis. Massive compliment as I’m an expert haha. Busy night full of Christmas parties but staff were held together and were friendly.

Great setting, great atmosphere, super service, awesome cocktails and fantastic food! One and the only one of its kind in Preston. A must try.

Very poor service and average food. Staff looks busy while they are not doing anything especially not taking orders:/ asking if you’re happy but when mentioned something was wrong waitress just smiled?! Pizza was terrible don’t waist your money.Won’t be going back.

Great venue, stylish and good sound system, reasonably priced.Makes all the difference being able to listen to good music loud and clean and still socialise and have a chat.

I have never had such an amazing experience in a restaurant. The staff couldn’t do enough, going above and beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. From arriving (with their warm welcome) to the attentiveness throughout the evening, to leaving when all the staff came to say goodbye. The atmosphere although quiet was so warm friendly and happy. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. X

Beautiful place, nice menu - good food - we had selection tapas and a bottle of wine. Ignorant, arrogant waiter who slammed down plates, kicked furniture, shouted and gestured at other staff. Spoiled what had been a lovely experience - plenty of other places to eat in Preston - will not be returning

Been eating tapas selection of praws, cheese both of them, mussels, calamari, wings, duck roll and fishcake. Everything was great for even better price Well recommend this place

We were a group of 10 for a special birthday. The staff were very accommodating with our cake, balloon and table confetti in advance.

Don't have a single bad word, the food was incredible, haven't truly enjoyed a meal for a long time. Would recommend the gambas pil pil tapas, ended up ordering another as I enjoyed it so much. You just try this place! Highly recommended.

My friend had a private event here on a Sunday night. She told us there would be canapés but we didn’t want to be hungry so we ate before going. What a mistake! We were served lots of amazing food! Things like canapés, prawns, pizza and many other things. All fresh and tasty. We were still full from dinner but couldn’t resist the offerings as everything looked lovely. No expense was spared by Stratos (unlike a lot of places that do events) and there was plenty of food for everyone. It wasn’t served as a buffet either which we liked, it was hand delivered to each table when fresh and ready. Food was fantastic quality. Great atmosphere and lovely place. Bar service is also great with lots of great drinks. We look forward to having a meal here.

First impressions good, however waiter didn’t even know what came with the steak special. Then before we had finished our starter my main course was plonked in front of me, which we accepted but it then took 15 mins for my wife’s main course to arrive. I had nearly finished my meal. We had told them at least twice. Nice eating a meal separately. Very overpriced for what we had and quality average. Very underwhelming experience and no effort for recompense.

Came for date night. Ordered tapas was brilliant all 6 dishes. Cocktails was amaze and good vibe nice chilled music and helpful friendly send. Quick service and massive watermelons

We went tonight totally unplanned after finding our planned venue to be closed. I have a few food in tolerances and my husband has one food allergy. We asked about this before sitting down and were told it would be fine

6 of us came here for my birthday in August, could not fault one thing. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, 2 for £10 cocktails and the tapas was amazing ! Empty plates all round. Will definitely be returning for more tapas ! Great experience

We went here for our anniversary meal and I couldnt believe how good the food was. We tried the new sushi menu and the tapas all amazingly priced and good portions too. The staff were really helpful and really nice. The cocktails are 2 for 1. You really need to try the food here its worth it and our meal was under £50 with cocktails. My new favourite place to eat.

I can’t say how fantastic the food, cocktails and atmosphere is here. The tapas were 5* and the cheesecake and profiteroles were to die for. Would highly recommend to anyone

First time I have been here and what an amazing place. Food amazing and staff extremely friendly. Was looking for tapas and Stratos definitely delivered. The cheesecake was out of this world will definitely be back!

Good service, great atmospere, trendy surroundings and a good place to just chill out and have a few drinks and nibbles. There is a good cocktail menu boasting all the usual culprits and a few more at quite reasonable prices.

Although it was quiet due to being a Sunday night, the staff were friendly and helpful and provided excellent tapas. We particularly enjoyed the lemon cheesecake for dessert! 😁 I would definitely recommend a visit here for drinks/cocktails or food.

Sunday lunch with my teen daughter. Wow how good was it? My daughter and I shared 6 tapas on the deal as well as a sushi portion. Every dish was superb. Service was attentive and friendly. A truly wonderful meal. We will be back!

Our second visit here, again prior to a show at Preston Guild Hall. Our first visit was on a busy night over the Christmas party season, this visit was earlier in the evening and much quieter.

It has been quite sometime since we visited this restaurant, so we thought we would give it another try. We were very pleased that we did.

I’m not one to write negative reviews usually but I felt the experience was that poor the issues needed bringing to attention. I have previously dined here and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere hence returning... safe to say the experience was not the same. Tapas portions have down sized massively. I understand tapas is small portions but getting 4 chicken wings which were just soggy skin was vile. Fish cakes has now turned to a small fish cake although not altered on menu. There are much nicer tapas bars around than here. Worse than I food would be the service. It seemed both people serving us had a big issue, not friendly in the slightest, felt awkward asking questions as they just didn’t seem to have the time for it or the table what so ever, no body came to check the food was okay and we had to leave the table and go to the bar to order drinks unless we could catch someone when they were bringing the food out... I totally understand we are all humans who have bad days but being rude is just not called for. It takes 2 minutes to check everyone is okay with the food and everybody has a drink. Won’t be returning when there are many tapas bars you can go to with friendly staff.

Good range of cocktails at a good prices (especially where there are offers on), food is good but I think the venue suits a drinking atmosphere more :)

We came here after a meal at Angelos for a few cocktails. They were really nice and reasonably priced. The barman was lovely. Really talkative and seemed genuinely interested in our day rather than asking because he had to! Had a nice relaxed start to the night. Would definitely visit again before a night out or for a few quiet drinks

Came today with my girlfriend, we had the garlic mushrooms, nachos, duck spring rolls, calamari, muscles and chicken wings from the tapas menu. Which was all together around £23 Selenia ( our server) was lovely, attentive and knowledgable when it came to the menu and some of the restaurants history! Good selection of cocktails and the 2 for £10 makes reasonable prices. I only had the calamari to eat which was delicious! Lightly battered and fresh seafood. The pizzas looked amazing!

Came in yesterday with a friend for a lunch and straight away we were greeted by a member of staff I didn’t get her name but we both thought she was welcoming and attentive and so was the manager so we decided to order off the tapas and can I just say it’s by far the best tapas I’ve ever had being a chef myself I’m quite particular in we’re i eat and I can definitely say this will be regular visit I would like to thank the chef on the amazing food which was well presented and tasted just as good as it look we would also like to thank the young waiter who served us she’s was very accommodating and recommended us in which cocktails to have

Terrible from start to finish, every drink order was wrong our food order was wrong and we got rushed out because they double booked us. The managers response was what do you want me to do?

went to meet someone for drinks and a good old catch up, took a table and was served drinks all night on tab which meant no queueing up giving us more time to discuss things. Staff very pleasant, beautiful surroundings, clean toilets and music not too load.

Went as part of a Christmas meal with work. On arrival, had to wrestle my way to the bar as appose to being served at our table.

I visited Stratos as part of a Christmas party and was severely disappointed, especially after reading some of the reviews before booking.

Stratos raised the standards - which wasn't too difficult in Preston, a while ago and have maintained this high level of service, ambience and quality products ever since. The wines are of particular interest as most come direct from their own Italian importers and can't be found elsewhere. More importantly they're superb!

Didn't eat but 5 of us went for a pre-dinner cocktail after my daughter's graduation. It was certainly the nicest pornstar martini that I have ever had. Lovely.

7pm on a Friday night, you'd expect a wait at the bar.... but 25 minutes?! The place wasn't packed, loads of staff around, but only a couple serving! Cocktail was mediocre and over priced. Will think twice about returning.

Visited on a Wednesday and we were literally the only table in which was a shame as the food is amazing! We had a table full of tapas and I can honestly say it was all delicious. The pulled pork potatoes are a must and the wings were fab. The staff really do make this place though - attentive without being overbearing and really polite and just made it a welcoming experience. I normally only drink in here (cocktails are amazing) but from now I think tapas will also feature. Will certainly be back.

At this point I should direct you to Ilvuna in The Northern Quarter of Manchester !Having recently moved to the Preston area, we thought Stratos would be our kind of place.It isn’t.*Service - we were ignored when we first walked in & only when we told the bar man that we’d booked a table, did the fake smiles kick in !*Food - Frozen food from the supermarket Iceland, would be a good representation. *Alcohol - we ordered a bottle of pink prosecco. It wasn’t prosecco, it was Spumante. My partner said the pint of peroni was warm & grainy*Positives - the cosmopolitan was delicious & the waiter who asked us “how is everything ?” Was very professional.I said, “would you honestly like to know ?”And he said, “yes, absolutely, that is how we improve”I mentioned the wine & he agreed - “Prosecco & Spumante are different drinks” He said.I mentioned, the food was “frozen & then microwaved” “the house salad was tasteless & unseasoned”And he bowed his head & said,“I will see what I can do with the bill for you”He removed the Spumante (I only had 2 sips) from the bill, he took 20% off the whole bill & offered us 2 free drinks.So beautifully handled.But, really, truly.Don’t bother !

Good choice of cocktails. Tapas quality also good. Only criticism is the portion sizes. 2 tempura prawns, 2 x 50p size fish cakes. Pulled pork potato skins and calamari were better sized portions. Probably best to have your tea first because tapas is more like hot nibbles.

Fabulous cocktails and 2 for £10 is a particularly attractive offer. Tapas style food is good. It's a really attractive space with a good atmosphere and attentive staff. Stratos is as good as you'll get for a night out in Preston

Food is full of flavour and cocktails are creative and delicious. Lovely vibes :) Definitely the best place to go with your friends on a night out!

Best food in Preston, reasonably priced. Drinks are a bit expensive but I don't even mind because the service is so good and the tapas is just fantastic every time.

Didn’t know this place did tapas early on.Always come here later on around 10ish. Was really the first upmarket bar in Preston and maintains to be best so far even though there are a few competitors come on the scene… Don’t really know if Preston is big enough or busy enough for any more. Good drinks and good service good decor and everybody seems to dress to impress.

We called into Stratos while working in Preston and enjoyed some delicious and very reasonably priced tapas. I would definitely recommend to anyone.
