Nice enough food and service but such a long wait. They said it would take a bit of time but almost an hour is not acceptable.

This Strada is my favorite Strada in the UK. The service is always wonderful as is the food. The menu has a good selection, especially for vegetarians.

Had a superb lunch here at the Strada. Well priced and certainly well cooked meal. The service was excellent and very friendly all in all be well worth going back and trying something else on their interesting menu

Anoche mis amigos y yo fuimos a Strada cucina italiana y tenía una noche realmente fantástico!

Gostei muito do prato principal, uma massa recheada com lascas de parma por cima. E gostei ainda mais do Chocolate Fondan, que é estilo um Petit Gateau, minha sobremesa predileta!

Si l ' esprit italien semble le thème du ' restaurant ' , ce dernier se rapproche plus de l esprit ' cafétéria ' , même si la carte propose des pâtes et autres spécialités italiennes . Le problème , c est le service médiocre, et le peu de sourire : la commande des plats a été longue pour ce type de restaurant et les plats commandés n ont pas tous été donnés ( olives ) mais facturés ! Le pain est arrivé à la fin du repas et bien sûr facturé presque 7 euros , pour 4 petites tranches de pain que nous n avons pas mangé car c était la fin du repas ! Lorsque l ´addition est arrivée nous avons demandé la suppression des plats non livrés ( olives ) et là le serveur nous a réclamé le pourboire ! Très élégant ! De toute façon On ne recommande pas , vu le manque de gentillesse qui contraste avec tous les autres restos sympas sur Londres .

Nuestra familia de 5 no siempre es fácil, por favor... Pero Strada logró satisfacer todas nuestras necesidades. Ellos pudieron sin reserva. Mi hijo menor estaba encantada con comida para niños... Que estaba delicioso, tenía muchas opciones, y un precio razonable. Mi hijo mediano es sin gluten y estaba encantada con un menú bastante extenso sin gluten. Presentación atractiva y todos disfrutamos de su comida. Nuestro camarero Mauro fue muy atenta y con un gran servicio. El ambiente era agradable. Volveríamos si nos volvemos a estar en el área.

Fui allí y he ordenado una hamburguesa y patatas fritas sin sal pedido.

Ser vegetarianos a veces se convierte en una maldición, y esto es lo que siento mientras viajaba por Europa. Fuimos a Strada deseen tener comida típica italiana, y tuvimos una buena variedad de opciones de verduras.

He comido en otros restaurantes strada antes pero este me defraudó. Se acabó cada plato popular antes de las 9 pm. Incluso acabó el fondant de chocolate que estaba deseando. Sus aseos están demasiado lejos. Son escondido abajo. Tienes que pasar por la cocina y por una parte redundante del restaurante para llegar a ellos. La parte de la cocina vi estaba bastante sucia, especialmente el suelo.

Siempre me han gustado Strada como su honesto comida de buena calidad. Sin duda no quiero volver como un individuo, pero la porción de pasta mi esposa y yo pasamos en nuestra última visita es simplemente inaceptable.

Fuimos a este Strada el pasado jueves. Es pequeño y ruidoso. Es muy concurrido en 6:30 pm. Estaba claro que había reservado una mesa unos días antes que era la cosa inteligente a hacer.

Visitamos este restaurante después día de compras en el West End. Tenía un vale de ellos para pizza por £5.

Tenía una pizza y prácticamente no coberturas, una corteza poco cocida, y sólo algunos se secó salsa de tomate. ¿Cómo se sirven comidas tales vergonzoso?! El tiramisú apenas comestible, probablemente se mantienen en la nevera durante un par de semanas. El restaurante en sí es ahora anticuada y necesita urgentemente una reforma. Las paredes y techos estaban sucios. Evitar.

O ambiente e atendimento é muito bacana, mas a comida deixou a desejar.

Lo que ha sucedido a Strada?! Solía ir regularmente con amigos, y utilizamos a amar las cestas llenas de pesto y pomodoro pan, tendríamos un buen plato de pasta al dente, lleno de hortalizas y sabor. El pan ahora consiste en una pieza de pan plano en forma de finas como un plato, así que la mitad del tamaño como antes y finas como el papel (por el mismo precio). La pasta era alto y tejido juntos, y a pesar de las prometedoras tienen un montón de ingredientes, parecía ser cubierto en una salsa de tomate promedio. Por suerte, teníamos un 25% descuento pero me habría sido furioso de haber pagado el precio completo. No comer allí de nuevo-ha ido cuesta abajo a un irreconocible punto y hay mucho mejor lugares para comer por un precio similar.

Era un restaurante muy normalito. Solo queríamos algo de comer, pero no queríamos ir a sitios de comida rápida.

Evitar! Evitar! Evita ... hay muchos lugares encantadores para comer por la zona del West End a precios muy razonables pero este no es uno de ellos ...

Queríamos encontrar un restaurante bonito y económico en Londres después de un día de compras y vi que este restaurante a un precio muy razonable y muy completo. Pedimos un plato que era penoso, y no vale la pena el dinero, entonces la principal vino. Teníamos pizza y pasta, la pizza era simplemente salsa de tomate y un poco de queso, no vale la pena lo que pagamos. La pasta era crudas y parecía uno de esos calentar pastas que tienes desde el supermercado. En general, nos costó mucho más de lo que queríamos pagar. No sé si era malo porque estaba lleno, pero el servicio también era terrible, y nos pareció que nos quedamos muy decepcionados. Ninguno de los otros restaurantes de esa franja habría sido mucho mejor. No se lo recomendaría a pesar de los precios razonables.

Comida nada demais e local quase feio. Recomendo apenas se vc estiver andando pela Oxford St e precisar comer. Não é o tipo de lugar que vai te surpreender

Comida optima com preço acessível. Atendimento super rapido e eficaz. Excelente para uma refeição rodeada de amigos.

Un grupo de 35 de nosotros nuestro almuerzo de Navidad en Strada el domingo 20 th 2015 Dic. La comida era muy buena y el personal era muy bueno también. Laura cuidó de nuestro grupo y ella era excelente, nada era un problema, ella era muy amable y servicial. Todos lo pasamos de maravilla y volveremos sin duda.

Olimme varanneet isolle joukolle pöydän jouluruokailuun. Palvelu oli miellyttävää alusta saakka ja erikoisruokavalioiset otettiin hyvin huomioon. Suurin osa alkupaloista erinomaisia, omani oli lohileipä. Pääruoaksi tilaamani ankka oli hyvää, kuitenkin seurueessa monet eivät olleen annoksiinsa tyytyväisiä (kuivaa lihaa, raakoja perunoita, annoksista puuttui jotain) ja joutuivat valittamaan niistä. En suosittele.

He estado en esta Strada particular dos veces, 4 meses aparte y las dos veces nos dijeron que no había pan o pizza ya que había un problema con el horno. Además los aperitivos trajeron unos 10 minutos aparte y la orden equivocada de postre. El personal era muy amable, la comida muy mediocre.

It was an incredible setting, on the South bank along the Thames. We had an amazing time here!! Everything was fabulous-the food, the wine, the venue, the atmosphere and the service!! Fun, jovial crowd!! Friendly, happy wait staff!! We had a large party of 6 and were walk in's at the very busy dinner hour, they were very accommodating, made us feel welcome and at home and paid attention to every detail!! It truly was such a fun night in London!! We will definitely be back!! Thank you for the wonderful memories!!....and the laughter!!! not to mention......the pizza here is amazing!!!!

La comida y el personal es agradable. Mi amigo me llevó a este lugar y no me decepcionó. Comimos una ensalada de arranque que era increíble y después pasta, que también era muy bueno.

Mi pareja y yo siempre comer en esta Strada cuando nos aventuramos a Central London tres o cuatro veces al año y nunca he tenido ningún problema. Hay dos camareros particulares que son muy serviciales y amables sin embargo, ayer, tuvimos una camarera que casi no hablaba ni una palabra de inglés. Ella hizo dos o tres errores con nuestra comida y bebidas y, a veces, no entendían lo que estábamos pidiendo. Muy molesto; hizo pidiendo, explicando en sílabas, y luego tener que re explicar las correcciones más deteriorada.

A comida estava muito bem feita, em quantidade boa para uma pessoa cada prato, nada de exageros. O atendimento foi impecável e por isso voltei para comer lá de novo e mais uma vez fui muitíssimo bem atendida. Para duas pessoas, com vinho e sobremesa, deu uma média de 35 libras.

I visited the restaurant on a busy Saturday afternoon. The service was prompt and efficient till the main course arrived - which was delicious. But after that my server just forgot about me, and I had to wait for 15+ minutes to get my dessert - which was beautifully presented but average in taste. The bad service experience unfortunately continued as I had to again wait for 10+ minutes to get my bill. 2 star on service and 4 star on food.

We visited the More London branch of Strada, we were seated promptly and out waiter was there asking for our drinks order. The food also came swiftly and hot and was exactly how we had asked for it - we made a few changes to pizzas. Our waiter Lorenz is the best waiter we've seen in a restaurant like this and he is a credit to the team there. He was very polite and noticed when our drinks were low and asked if we wanted another, the small things in his customer service made our visit very enjoyable and I would recommend seating is his area for sure. I hope Strada pass on our gratitude to him.

1er jour à Londres. Après avoir marché plusieurs heures, nous nous arrêtons pour manger un petit morceau. Si "petit" était le repas, ce ne fut pas le cas de la note!Les Italiens doivent pleurer de douleur quand ils voient le "Cucina Italiana"! Elle est bien loin des assiettes l'Italie. Place sans intérêt aucun et trop trop cher!

Fomos duas vezes ao restaurante, aos pés da Tower Bridge! Uma bela vista a noite, com tudo iluminado! Ambiente aconchegante e muito clean! Primeira vez pedimos uma pizza individual (enorme!) Muito boa e picante! E na segunda vez fomos nas massas..muito bom também! Recomendo!

Nao me surpreendeu em nada. O preço é bom, mas a comida não tem nada demais. Achei o serviço pouco atencioso e os funcionários estavam fazendo muito barulho nas dependências de serviço. Parecia que estava caindo quilos de coisas la dentro e incomodou bastante. A vista por outro lado é realmente incrivel!

Ho mangiato qui per circa tre settimane. Personale cordialissimo, pulizia , prezzi ottimi e cibo magnifico. L unico ristorante. Londinese dove poter mangiare ottima cucina italiana. Consigliatissima la Carbonara e la pizza!

Per chi approda a Londra provenendo dall'Italia può costituire un sicuro porto! I piatti sono di buona qualità anche per un palato italico. La servitù si è rivelata molto cortese e rispondente alle attese anche del turista più esigente.

Vi bestilte pizza og det var veldig godt. Vi lagde vår egen med kun skinke og pepperoni, og det kostet nesten 12 pund. Men den var veldig god. Hyggelig personale også. Men vi ble jo fristet på mer, men i og med at kelneren var så treg til å komme bort igjen når vi hadde prøvd å få kontakt en del ganger droppet vi det ( vi angret oss litt etterpå for det fristet sånn, men tiden tikket). Det som var litt små ekkelt her var å finne frem til doen nede i kjelleren. Var akkurat som man var nede i et lagerrom med flere rom og trapper. Når jeg skulle opp igjen tok jeg visst feil trapp, men kom meg frem

We stopped at the Strada on Kensington High street. The best Italian food I've had! There was four in our group and every meal was spot on. Full of flavour without being over whelmed with spices. The pasta was fresh made, the hosts were friendly and made us feel welcomed. Will go back next time I visit London

This small Italian restaurant is located on a back road behind Oxford street between Oxford circus & Tottenham Court road tube stations. It has a nice outdoor area as well as indoor seating. Food was good but not outstanding. Srvice was ok & price reasonable.

This nice Italian restaurant is located on the Southbank between the Eye and Royal Festival Hall. On a nice day outside seating is very attractive watching the passing parade on the Thames bankside. There is extensive inside seating available when the weather turns nasty. The menu is typical of an Italian restaurant but we were taken by the quality of the food - the green Olives were superb, the pizza excellent - far better than others in London. Wine list was limited but of very good range and quality. Prices were quite reasonable and service very friendly. We actually returned for dinner some nights later after our good lunch experience, again excellent prompt service and very good food, pasta, pizza and yummy deserts. We did book on line fortunately as the place was full. Bring located next to the entertainment precinct and Royal Festival Hall they get lots of people out for concerts. Make a booking to ensure you get a table.

Visited the Heathrow terminal 3 branch,....blown away by the professionalism of attentive and happy staff, food was cooked to order, mine....slightly different from advertised on menu requested, which was brought without fuss. Very impressed as food was served on hot plates( I know, but it is so rare these days!) quality of dishes superb it made our airport experience a pleasure!!!

En välkommande atomsfär och trevlig personal.Trots lunchtid ligger denna bakficka runt hörnet från Regent Street men var lungt och skönt.Snabb personal som tog order och även om lite väntan på maten är det ett helt ok ställe för barnfamiljer.Flera olika typer av mattyper såsom pasta, pizza och skaldjursrätter som passar hela familjen.

The Strada (Cucina Italiano) we ate at was located at Westfield Stratford City, on the 2nd floor of Europe's largest shopping complex.Without making this review too long, we can summarize it with this comment: "It was PERFECT!)We were celebrating a birthday, so it was especially exciting to fall upon this unexpected find, in a beautiful, large, new shopping centre.. Not only would we go back to this Strada, but if all the Stradas in this chain follow the same mantra as the one we had such an outstanding experience with, then it's a sure bet! No question marks!The added bonus - A fabulous shopping centre to browse in, after a belly full of delicious food!

Saturday night out for dinner & this restaurant was very disappointing. Service was very poor / slow. Food was average at best ... bread dry, olive oil bland & risotto ok without being special. Choose elsewhere if you have a choice.

I always enjoyed eating at this restaurant. It desert menu is to die far. Last Saturday I bought my family and friends there for an evening out. They all enjoyed the food. I had my favourite from the chicken menue Pollo Funghi. It was delightful. I topped it off with Fondente Cacao.

Wandering around London's Regent Street (just a few blocks from the PIccadilly Circus station) and came across a 'restaurant row' of sorts with several excellent restaurants with outdoor seating. Managed to get an outdoor table without reservations at Strada (across from the PIccolino restaurant) Nice and warm under the electric heat lamps. Great menu and wine list. Service was quick and pleasant. Food was appropriately portioned, fresh and tastey to include vegetables, a seafood entree. Not cheap, but reasonably priced and a good value given the location Best part was plenty of people watching from the club hoppers heading to the Icebar at the top of the street to the other diners at the adjoining restaurants.

We went here in March this year and even though it was the Easter weekend, we managed to walk straight in without booking.The wait staff were polite and the service was prompt and friendly. The food was great and the portions were good sized without being too large.We went as a group of 8 people and all of the meals were delivered together - something that so many other restaurants cant seem to get right.Despite the fact that the restaurant was packed, we were not rushed at all and it was a very pleasent experience all round.I would recommend this restaurant if you are down towards the London Eye.

We found this restaurant last year after my friend had run in The London Marathon, we had a small toddler with us on that occasion and wanted something quick. This more than fitted the bill & they made us ALL very welcome. Hence a return visit this year, 3 ladies retired here for a well deserved dinner after a long day (only one having competed in The Marathon).It is just off of Regent Street in a quiet little pedestrian area, I am sure it would have a lovely buzz in the evening especially a warm summer one. There is a good outside eating area too but in we when & were immediately greeted & made very welcome. The food was all delicious, 2 bowls of pasta, a pizza & some G/Bread and we all felt better! The lovely Chocolate Fondant pudding afterwards was shared but again could not be faulted. The prices seemed very fair for the quality and quantity especially based on the West End location, but I was treated so do not know what hte bill was in the end. I would totally recommend this place & hope to return.

Ormai la diffusione della cucina italiana a londra e' cosa fatta. Questa catena di ristorazione offre un'ottima cucina italiana a dei prezzi decisamente proponibili per una citta' come londra. Ce ne sono molti in citta'. Il servizio e' cordiale e si trova personale italiano. Il design decisamente bello senza eccessi. Ideale per un lunch o dinner senza grosse pretese ma buono.

We visited St. Pauls Cathedral and decided to stop in the area for lunch and were pleased that we selected this restaurant. A very friendly welcome from everyone.A very good waiter (unfortunately we didn`t note his name) who recommended good wines and selections from the menu.He was very observant and made sure our glasses were never empty, attentive without being invasive and went out of his way to ensure we enjoyed our lunch.When we left all the staff wished us a pleasant day and this included those who had not served us.A nice thing to do. We have added this venue to our return list.

We stambled on this italian eatery, wandering around and window shopping Oxford and Regent str. A nice small side alley hides a series of little restaurants, including this very likeable italian pizzeria. Vegetarian pizza was delicious as well as pasta with four cheese dressing, at very reasonable prices. Down the alley you can also find an ice bar and restaurant ( they provide overcoats too!..).

Mangiare decentemente cucina italiana all'estero è molto difficile, invece di questo posto sono rimasta piacevolmente colpita! Il cibo era molto buono! Ho preso un antipasto di prosciutto e mozzarella di bufala ed effettivamente era mozzarella di bufala e crudo di Parma di buona qualità! Molto buono sia il primo che il secondo ed il conto è stato una sorpresa in positivo, meno male! Il personale è spesso italiano e cambia da un giorno all'altro, gentili ed educati... Una piacevole scoperta a Londra!

We stumbled upon Strada by accident..in the rain wondering around. Wasnt a lot of places to eat in Oxford Street & we just happen to find Strada down a walk way.We went in and was greated by a friendly waitress. Even though it was Luch time & fairly busy she found us a a table downstairs. Our drinks were ordered straight away & then our meals were ordered. i had the spaghetti Ragu (Spaghetti Bolognaise) which was £9.95,it was nice but expensive for what it was,my partner ordered something with mushrooms, also £9.95 & our friends ordered Steak (£17.95 each) that comes with chips and some rocket. We were situated near the kitchen,so could see meals being cooked. We also had Garlic bread, this was amazing & the best ever tasted. My partner asked for some olives,which were stuffed with meat £2.50 for 4 olives!! Service was good but prices were a bit pricey. 3 drinks of coke £6 something.

The hosts are from Italy and servces with Italian charme and spirit. The prices are pleasant and food is good. The guests are both familys and relatively young people which underlines the good feeling of Italy. The restaurant is greatly located in Wimbledon village. Thanks for the evening menu. Great food!

After an average meal with spotty service the waitress pushed us to have dessert... She said we could have 3 scoops of gelato so we ordered 3. After a delay she came back to say that we could only have 2 scoops so we cancelled the order. If I owned a restaurant I would over deliver rather than have a situation like that. It was more important for them to try and charge extra for the scoop than give the customer what they told him he would get. Some serious training required here!

Wir waren hier nach einer Shopping Tour weil uns diese Restaurantkette empfohlen wurde.Das Essen ist gut, schön eingerichtet, gesund zubereitet und frisch. Das Lokal ist aber so vollgestopft und es ist so eng bestuhlt, dass man den Tisch zur Seite schieben muss um Platz zu finden (und danach wieder zurück damit die 2. Person nicht mitten im Gang sitzt).Das Personal ist ok, könnte aufmerksamer sein, wir mussten lange warten und winken, damit wir die Rechnung begleichen konnten.Schade, weil das Essen wirklich als gut bezeichnet werden kann.

I have just had a quick glance at some of the other reviews and there does seem to be something of a trend regarding complaints of poor service. I will disregard what I have seen in the other reviews to give my honest opinion. I liked the look of the menu and it was quite clearly a popular venue for diners (we visited on a Sunday lunchtime). We were shown to our table by a very pleasant waiter. We were provided with menus and complimentary water. We seem to wait quite a time before our drinks order was taken and this occurred at the same time our food order was placed ! I would have preferred the drinks order to be taken first. Following this we waited quite a time for the starter to arrive and when they did the wine still had n't despite an earlier reminder to the staff. That said the food was excellent and the portion sizes more than adequate. I found it good value for money. The wine when it arrived was also good. Indeed the overall selection wines available was very good. I hope the management read this as it appears they have n't taken heed of the earlier reviews which is in itself disappointing. I would recommend this restaurant highly for its food. I found the staff really very friendly but somewhere something is going wrong with the service. Not enough staff? I don't know the answer but put it like this I did see a manager who seemed to be doing a lot of ordering about but no work himself. I think he ought to be getting more involved. I apologise if this person normally does get his sleeves rolled up but on that Sunday he most certainly did n't.

I feel that this Strada, like a zillion restaurants in London, should get three and a half stars. 'Average' doesn't quite sound good enough but no particular reason to say 'Very' good.The food was good, and the waitress understanding when we moved from the first outside table as the sun was too hot (yep, I know, that doesn't happen very often).A weekday lunchtime in central London is always going to be rushed and crowded. They coped, we ate, we drank, we paid, we left.No problem with eating there again, so it was Good. New category please Trip Advisor for the three and a half star restaurants we all take for granted.

This looked like a popular restaurant with a good menu. After we were shown to our table we were abandoned. We waited for nearly 20 minutes with no one offering us a menu, drinks or to take an order. We were not the only ones who were frustrated, the couple next to us tried three times to pay their bill - there were plenty of staff and it was only half full; they were just badly organised

Handy placement just off Oxford Street, Strada offered good Italian food at a fair price. The restaurant was packed when we went and very noisy. Staff seemed to struggle to keep up with us waiting for orders to be taken, to get more drinks and when we wanted the bill.

Very friendly staff and gave us excellent options for vegetarian pizza and pasta. Delicious food without excessive waiting.

There's no shortage of high street pizza chains in the UK, and they tend to offer a very similar experience in terms of casual dining. However, in my recent experience, the food at Strada does tend to outdo the competition, thanks to the good selection of relatively ‘authentic’ Italian mains in addition to the usual pizza/pasta offerings. We only found this restaurant while running around trying to avoid the rain. There were hardly any restaurants in the area that we could find so when I saw this, we thought why not? We were told to take a seat at the bar until a table was ready. It was 1o'clock & it was very busy in there, lots of staff catering for a large group of people. Half way through our lovely crisp white wine, we were given a huge couch just for the two of us right inside the window which was perfect. We had a full 4 course meal as we were over there relaxing for the weekend.I had garlic bread to start which was amazing. I had a beautiful pan fried chicked breast with all different trimmings it was sensational! Truly amazing flavours, never had anything like it. Then we had desert, a chocolate fondant, I am not usually a chocolate eater but again, this was stunning & tasted like heaven!! We sat there after that & continued with the wine. We were there long after the mad lunchtime rush, The staff were truly the most professional, classy people to work in such a fast paced busy, chic restaurant.It wasn't cheap but it was astronomical either but it was worth every penny, i would have had no problem paying more for the service we received!It was the most relaxing, tasty, experience in a restaurant I have EVER had!I cannot wait until the day I can go back there. Truly amazing food!
