As a vegetarian, I was disappointed to find a piece of ground beef in my vegetarian spaghetti. However, thanks to the exceptional professionalism of Manager Francesco, the situation was swiftly and gracefully resolved. His attentiveness transformed what could have been a negative experience into an outstanding evening. He went above and beyond to ensure the rest of our night was flawless, turning an unfortunate moment into a truly memorable dining experience. Thank you Eately & thank you Francesco, we will be back soon!

Worst pizza and terrible service. Never return. We had lunch at Pizza e Pasta. Firstly booking a table via online was confusing. Only option was eat as much as you want menu. Apparently a la carte menu was available. Secondly a waitress didn't poor sparkling water only my glass even the glass was precisely in front of me. She was apologetic, however she never come back after promised bringing black pepper... Pizza was very soggy and too much crust. It was very difficult to cut. Potion of Octopus salad was so small. I found only 5-6 bits of Octopus in the salad. The rest was potatoes. Despite having horrible experience, we had good companies, so I didn't feel bad. However I would rather go to somewhere else for proper Italian meals.

I am a big fan of the shop but it’s absolutely unacceptable that both your accessible door and the lift are constantly out of service! Also you have one of the best shop assistants in London at your cold meats counter (Italian man, didn’t catch his name); his colleagues at the same counter have been rude to customers on a number of occasions.

Took children for lunch today - tried to order bolognaise but with penne rather than spaghetti as kids struggle with spaghetti. Asked politely for the pasta to be changed and was rudely told it’s just not possible- despite all pasta being set out in front of us and available. Asked why it would be an issue, even asked if there was a price difference and was prepared to pay (not that this should be required for a tub of pasta that is already £16). No answer just ‘been told not to’ - we’ve been before and had no issue but most certainly won’t be returning. The place was quiet, no queues nobody waiting behind us. Quite simply the worst of customer service.

Why in London? The building was so huge that it was entirely Italian. There was a market with delicious-looking hams and cheeses, olive oil, pasta, wine, and more, as well as an Italian restaurant, which was crowded with locals and tourists.

I left a review about my poor experience at Eataly on Open Table - food was terrible, servers were not well trained etc. They replied and said to email them so they could do something to put it right, but this was all about keeping up appearances because I shared my email with them and they didn’t reply. It’s obviously more important to them to be SEEN to be doing the right thing, than to actually do the right thing. Very poor approach to customer service.

,,Pasta e pizza,, restaurant.. well, as an Italian myself l can say that the pasta carbonara was traditionally made, but the portion was shockingly minuscule for an Italian restaurant and so dry and thick that l couldn't eat it.. 😏 Tiramisu was absolutely awful, just a disgusting soggy base, watery, tasteless, nothing to do with a real traditional Italian Tiramisu, so disappointing.. 😏 The pizza was burnt and dry and empty 😕 totally disappointed with our experience.. the icecream downstairs was ok-ish, but it didn't tasted like the one made in an authentic Italian gelateria.. 😏 Obviously the prices are higher than average Italian restaurants for a less than average Italian cooking..🙄

🗨"The managers lead by example, and do what they say. It's different from other places I've worked. " This was the quiet response I got from a young male employee. On my way out, I stopped by a counter to ask about the day-to-day culture of the organisation. It was my 2nd or 3rd visit, and this time, I visited on my way home after an enjoyable business conference. Within seconds of arriving, I noticed how much it felt like a fun food adventure park, filled with amazing colours and ingredients!🎉 It reminded me why Italy's 'Eataly' feels special: there is something (food or gift) for EVERYONE, and each item, large or small, is beautifully crafted and presented for our delight. ✨️ Being here, even before purchasing an item, made me feel as though I was giving a gift to myself - without having to fly to Italy (less carbon footprint)! 💝 If I could make one recommendation? Visit on your own, at least once, to fully immerse yourself in the different foods from Eataly. The Eataly London offer is fourfold: Restaurants, Foodhall, Market, and a Cooking School. It is clear how intentional this brand is, in its aim to make food a joyful, loving, and creative experience. It succeeds in doing that! As someone with experience of premium food & drink brands, I was in my happy place walking around and studying their packaged products - confectionery, condiments, and more. With each find, I imagined how hard the owners, managers, and team on the ground must work to make (our) customer experience positively memorable. No organisation is perfect, but this operation is really impressive. That's why I asked the question on my way out. It's a good thing when customers and workers feel the same about a brand.✨️ I've another meeting nearby next week, so I'll come back for Easter gifts!🎁 🎁

This is the 3rd the time i have been to Eatly the and yet again, it was a bad experience. The deli and cheese counter has one rude guy who blanks you while he is doing other things and then grunts at you when you ask to be served. I was then given the tail end of some ham, which he put a use-by date for the same date, and some cheese, which had a date the following date. Both were not good when I got home and chucked them out. I have seen this same guy do this to other customers. I only go maybe every three months or so. He really should find another job. I then wandered down for an ice cream, the guy at the counter said he was busy and wait. Then, I think his manager came over, and they started talking to him they both looked annoyed. She then started cleaning with some spray and blue cloth and then turned around with the dirty cloth and started to take my older touching the cone with her gloved hands. I really should have just walked away! This is not the first time I have had a terrible experience like this at Eatly, and it will be the last time.

Lorsque son responsable a recueilli l'argent , il a été réticent pour notre rendu de monnaie, il n'a pas montré la volonté de rassembler les différents paiements pour faire le total. Then we ordered still water.. and smelled/ tasted like wet dogs… again.. had to be changed since waitress smelled the same 🤣 starter was tasty great and the main was even saltier than actual salt 🧂! 😖 I wasn’t full but had to stop… we got some discount at the end as they could see we didn’t even finish half of the plate 😢 we had to search for sweet dessert defo not from here 🤣

The 2 stars I gave this was just for the food which was very nice. We arrived at Mezzanino and were seated. After a few minutes we had to ask for a menu as no one had offered us one. We ordered our food with bread. The food came promptly but no bread. We waited for the bread but they had forgotten it. They offered to bring it after we had finished our food. We asked for them to take it off of the bill. When the bill arrived they had the cheek to put a service charge on it. I asked for the service charge to be taken off and after a lot of faffing about this was done. We paid the bill and left. I have eaten in the restaurants at Eataly lots of times but never in this particular restaurant. Very poor service.

Fantastic Cooking Class Experience! Last week, I attended a fresh pasta cooking class with some friends, and it was an absolute delight! Under the guidance of Chef Ursula Ferrigno, we prepared egg-based tagliolini and tagliatelle from scratch, along with two delicious sauces: puttanesca and a flavorful Delica pumpkin-based creation. The experience, which lasts about two hours, was fantastic from start to finish—welcomed with a glass of Prosecco and ending with a "diploma" of participation. Ursula is truly radiant, and Mam is amazing; their personalities balance each other perfectly. The food we cooked together was simply delicious. Everything was perfect! Highly recommended!

I recently attended a cooking class at Eataly in London with some colleagues, and it was a fantastic experience that I highly recommend. The class was led by Chef Ursula, a highly skilled and friendly Chef who effortlessly shared her love for Italy and its cuisine with us. We prepared Fresh Tajarin Pasta with Puttanesca Sauce and Fresh Tagliatelle with Pumpkin and Black Cabbage Cream. With the help of the chef's assistant too, Mam (I hope I'm spelling her name correctly), we navigated the cooking process smoothly. At the end of the class, we had the pleasure of enjoying the dishes we made, making the experience even more rewarding. The team was welcoming, professional, and passionate: a true journey through Italian flavours, right in the heart of London.

I went there with my friend for lunch. We had the best pizza con salsiccia in London! The pasta was also amazing. The staff was very attentive and friendly, they even offered to take a photo of us. After we arrived we were seated straight away (we didn’t have a booking). Besides the incredible food, what blown us away was the fact that due to not seeing my friend for a long time we kept chatting even after the food arrived, the staff came and asked us if everything was okay since we haven't touched our meals yet, a few minutes go by and i dropped my knife on the floor, before I even managed to bend down someone was already there to pick it up and another person was there to replace it. I can not stress enough how incredible this service has been. After a bit of shopping which is more an experience in itself rather than just shopping, we went for a coffee and deserts which were incredibly delicious.

My friend and I were really looking forward to visiting! We left disappointed. Throughout the store there are signs saying how everything is cooked fresh and sold in store, yet the dish I ordered, with cod in, could not be adapted (I can't eat chilli) so my option was spaghetti and tomato sauce. The staff on entry were lovely! Our waiter was sullen, inattentive, and just shrugged when I asked if there was chilli in the dish (on the menu description, it doesn't say there's chilli in it). The tastiest thing I had was the homemade cola. The store looks amazing but I couldn't be bothered to shop after having such a poor experience in the restaurant. I rarely leave anything but a 5 star review but I felt that, with so many of us with allergies and intolerances, I should say it wasn't a very accommodating restaurant. Maybe I was just unlucky tonight and they're better other days.

Positive: - great vibe. Top quality food, prices fair Negative: - service: whilst trying to enjoy a family dinner , we were constantly harassed by 3 different waiters not taking no for an answer when trying to upsell First waiter , rolling his eyes when we didn’t want a bottle of wine( we still had full glasses!) , second waiter tried it again 10 mins later, then a third one came over , claiming that we told another waiter we wanted another bottle! Do your waiters own shares in this wine company? Or is their job commission based? What normally is a nice experience, was totally undone by their collective pushy behaviour. Such a shame as I brought my family to the place , because it’s supposed to be a nice experience. Final issue, : found out the bill was £11 too high, but we didn’t check the bill properly as the waiter stood right next to us with card machine, and we didn’t want to waste his time. This is our fault, should have checked properly , still all in all poor experience.

If you want good pizza and fair prices, go somewhere else. I tried Eataly London after a great experience at their New York location, but this visit was disappointing. The pizza was poor and overpriced. The dough resembled bread rather than authentic Italian pizza. As someone from Naples, I can confidently say it’s nothing like the real thing. If you want authentic pizza in London, head to 50 Kalò. Don’t be misled by positive reviews - they may come from people who’ve never had true Italian pizza. Despite having a reservation, the three of us were squeezed into a table for two with an extra chair, even though multiple large tables were available. This setup was common across the restaurant (with many tables for two used for three guests), something you'd expect from a cheap diner or a fully booked venue - not the case here. The entire place, both the restaurant and shops, is extremely overpriced. Adding to the disappointment was a misleading 20% discount offer. It was intentionally vague, suggesting the discount applied to the current visit, when it actually applies only to a second visit if you bring the original receipt. Who really keeps receipts from previous dinners? An employee admitted they’re aware of the confusion, but it might be kept that way to attract customers. On a positive note, the service was good, and our waiter was friendly and attentive. One thing is certain: I won’t be returning.

We dined at the Pasta and Pizza restaurant with a group. The service was fairly good but the food an absolute trainwreck - the sort of meal that makes me wonder if I'm being pranked. The fish main was overpriced and not as described on the menu (missing dish components). The chips, advertised as 'chunky' and 'triple-cooked', were the sort of cheap supermarket chips you can get at any kebab shop and certainly not fried more than once. And what is 'aioli mayo' supposed to be? The dip was just mayo, without any garlic either. The only actually tasty dish was the broccoli side, which was very fresh and perfectly cooked. The menu is quite uninspired too. Just your run of hte mill Italian fare with nothing out of the ordinary. Including some things that are not Italian at all, such as hummus. Overall - food overpriced and so bad one has to wonder how this place is a successful chain.

We had lunch at the Pizza and Pasta restaurant on the first floor. As a starter we got the charcuterie and cheese platter which was decent though limited in diversity. As mains we got the truffle pasta and a special pizza which had smoked ricotta, chicory and speck. The pasta was delicious but the pizza was not good. The flavours did not match, the dough was dry and it was all crumbling. We got charged extra for bread because the platter didn’t come with anything (which is surprising for a £18 dish that clearly requires an accompaniment). Overall it was ok but not worth the price.

The food is not bad, but the tables are often dirty and not cleaned regularly; dirty trays are frequently left on them. The loyalty card is a good idea; however, considering most people pay by phone, a paper card is not ideal and is unsustainable. Furthermore, they will not replace a damaged card. With my carbonara I wanted to drink Sangiovese one of the high priced wines in the menu but was told it is not in stock. So have to go with less prefered alternative and only haf one glass to keep my palate in line with flavours. Tiramisu was tasty. As a shop, prices relatively higher but selection. A very underwhelming experience at Terra. The menu selection failed to interest me after I sat down and I should have left at that point, however I stayed and order the Mushroom Tagliatelle as it was the least offensive item in the menu to me. Unfortunately it proved very offensive and was not enjoyable. Equally unenjoyable was the service. I came to the table thankfully with a drink from the bar, because I did not have anyone check with me to determine if I wished for another until my meal was finished. I had bread as an appetizer and what I am assuming is a supervisor dropped off the bread with a very Laissez-faire attitude and and left; it was a real more minutes before the waitress came over with a plate and olive oil. I sat with my empty dinner plate for about 10 mins before anyone stopped by to remove it, despite watching a gaggle of servers and supervisors stand like wall flowers, hoping no one notices them. I would have had a dessert and coffee had I been asked, but even that too was too much effort it seems for the restaurant to manage. I wasn’t expecting incredible service as it is after all a chain restaurant designed for tourists, but I have been served in New York and Toronto at Eatily before with reasonable service; which this failed miserably at attempting to be. I don’t recommend, for the price there are so many other more enjoyable offerings in London. This was a mistake I won’t repeat.

Ice Cream is ok, quite sweet and not many flavours (+ some taste bad). The lady serving us was also quite grumpy!

I've been to Eataly in Liverpool Street many times in the past years with my child and always had issues as the lift for upstairs was never working and been advised to use the escalator to carry up and down the pram with my child inside which of course I didn't do as extremely dangerous. Today I visited the store again and found the situation even worse. From ground level there is no accessible door working as one is out of order and a second is not in use with sitting area blocking it so I had to lift and carry the pram to get to the main entrance and once inside found both lifts out of service with merchandise stacked in front of it like to hide it. Very disappointed of it and very unlikely to visit the store again.

We ate at Terra and probably should have read some reviews before hand. I've been for dinner at Eataly a few times but was my first time eating at Terra. Service was a bit erratic but polite apart from when I asked for mayonnaise to accompany the chunky chips we had ordered to share. The waiter instead brought over an orange coloured condiment which turns out they charged us £2.50 for which we only found out when the bill arrived. It was labelled as garlic mayonnaise which isn't what I ordered and I'm not sure it was what we received. Whilst the ragu was nice it wasn't so nice it made up for the place serving chips and charging for condoments. You can't serve chips and charge for condiments (I mean you definitely can do what you want but its a wild approach). I would probably not return again to Eataly.

I am not a traveler addicted to spending, but I still go to these places to discover and see what is offered. VERY EXPENSIVE EVERYTHING. The same can be found at lower prices elsewhere. Go and take your photo.

Love this place from the market to the bar and the coffee place. We had an Aperitif with Aperol and Cynaro Spritzes which were more than adequate. The Arancini was good too, although they served it with mayonnaise not the usual tomato sauce we are used to in Rome. Prices for the aperitivo Is kind of steep but then again this is Central London. In this case it becomes quite normal. Lots of sale above in the market place so that was a plus. Not sure if they only do sales during holidays but hopefully all year round. We did a fair bit of post-Christmas shopping and the selection did not disappoint. Would Def return again and again as we do miss our native Italy!

We have been regular to Eataly to buy Italian Groceries, but this time decided to get lunch too. The place is good and serves quality stuff; however for an American joint serving Italian food at that price point, the service was very Londonish. The staff had no enthusiasm and most of the service was with a straight expression. All things we ordered were done quite well, good marks for those. Positions are little though for some of the items. I ordered a carbonara pasta and the portion was sufficient for a kid. Have mixed feelings.

I had high expectations on this restaurant, which were not met on my visit. The carpaccio - it was a rosbife. Truly, no seasoning, and I the meat was tasteless. For the pasta, how can they make it wrong? One was overcooked and the truffle, goodness, terrible! Looked like half the size of amatriciana and it tasked quite bad. At least not overcooked 🥹

I’m a frequent customer and it’s great to see products on sale while I wish for the experience downstairs to be more authentic, for example avoiding chilly veggie sandwiches, as there isn’t such a thing in Italy.

At the entrance there is the market where you can buy many products that come from all over Italy. In the heart of the building is the restaurant. We had a very good time overall. Quick service, courtesy, delicious food and a non-trivial menu. Prices are proportionate to the quality offered. Recommended stop!

rip-off for a dreadful cuppa peppermint tea (tepid water to the brim & a poxy tea bag), dreadful service, staff doesn’t act like they want to be there. unfortunately the proper places were closing for the day so we ended up in this horrible overrated place.

We regularly visit this place with our friends and relatives. It’s ideally located just outside Liverpool Street Station. There is an Italian food court as well as a cafe, serving coffee, cakes and Italian pastries etc. and a restaurant upstairs. There is also a well stocked Italian supermarket. I just love the ambiance and the superb range of Italian goods. The service is efficient and organised. The only downside is that because of its popularity, it is sometimes difficult to find a seat in the cafe. A take out service is however available.

Great for ingredients but slightly overpriced. Good place to relax/grab tea or ice cream and always seating. Only issue is vegan menu is so limited. They only recently got a vegan pastry. Also pizza slices are very bready and have too much cheese so would not recommend.

I've only gone around the building of Eataly and it is absolutely fabulous. Definitely worth checking out. There are multiple restaurants that serve hot food like pasta, pizza, antipasti, etc and there are small cafe's that serve italian sandwiches, gelato, coffee, pastries, etc. Then there's the massive grocery area that sell a lot of Italian [food] goods. They have their own butchers and fresh fish market, a lot of cured meat selections and snacks. It is a bit pricey but we do think that the quality is definitely there.

Food only just warm enough. Portion sizes barely acceptable. Overrated compared to other Italian restaurants in London. More style than substance. Shall not be returning or recommending.

Sunday close to 21hs we were told to leave. Why do you promote your place as open till 22hs then? Mediocre food and very pricey. Visibly miserable staff. I’d suggest to avoid and next time I will jump into the Polo Coffee at least they are still open till late.

We did visit the restaurant in December when the service was shockingly bad but the food was ok. We decided to visit again with a bigger group of friends. The service was haphazard and the servers seem to glide around the room not making eye contact with diners. This time the food really was not great. Two of us had the carbonara which was congealed and the large pasta they used was chewy and all rather unpleasant. It’s not cheap and won’t go again.

Overpriced, full breakfast over £15 not worth the money, and you don't even get a cup of tea with that. Also, the bottom of the condiment holders are dirty. It's definitely a tourist trap.
