Called in for lunch with a couple of people earlier in the week. Asked for a table for four, waitress collected menus and was showing us to our table when someone behind the bar called across and said "no lunch until 1.30" This was at 12.30. What restaurant advertises a lunch menu but doesn't serve until 1.30? We left.

We have dined in this restaurant numerous times since it’s opening. We enjoy it here because the standard of service and food is consistently good. Under normal circumstances visits coincide with staying at Radisson RED Liverpool. This one was different. We had made a reservation for dinner at the end of a day visit to the city. Despite not staying at the hotel we were greeted as returning guests and promptly shown to one of our favourite tables. We were given great services throughout and enjoyed dinner. The restaurant is clearly popular and although very busy everything ran like clockwork.

We visited the Stoke Brasserie following a trip to the theatre and had an excellent meal from start to finish. The quality and presentation of the food was superb and all 3 courses that we had were delicious. As regular visitors to the Stoke on our trips to Liverpool we find it a great location with excellent staff and service and a big thank you to Betul and the team for looking after us so well. Highly recommended and we will return.

My 2nd visit & once again it was just fabulous. The menu is so varied & choosing so difficult as all sounds yummy. I had the fixed price 3 course & it was delicious . Lamb croquettes to start followed by a steak with chips & sauce which was cooked to perfection & melt in the mouth . I ended with the beautiful tiramisu …just divine . To wash it down I had water & a negroni cocktail . This was expertly put together by the staff & thoroughly enjoyable . I have to say that the best part has to be the well chosen friendly staff who are chatty & attentive but not in your face . They just know when to top up water or see if you need anything . They are a credit to this restaurant. Thanks for a fabulous experience after my theatre trip ….I will definitely return x

Just had Sunday Lunch at the Stoke restaurant in Radisson Red at Lime Street station. Some family had been last Sunday and gave it great reviews. We ordered two gammon roasts. I’ve never known a restaurant add a further supplement for chicken (about £2 extra). The food came relatively quickly however no-one came to ask during the meal if everything was OK. I wasn’t impressed with the meal. All of the veg was hard. We could have done with extra gravy inside the huge Yorkshire pudding as it had no gravy on it so the meal was quite dry. Also the plates were so small that the Yorkshire pudding covered most of the food. We finished our meal and were waiting to order desserts. But after 10 minutes our plates were still sitting on the table. Two female staff members in white blouses were standing around literally doing nothing. I couldn’t understand why they weren’t clearing the table or taking our dessert order. There was another girl in a brown Stoke T-shirt doing all the work. Eventually I had to call over the girl in the brown T-shirt to order desserts. We ordered two cheesecakes. They had been recommended by family the week before. A family had the same cheesecakes on the table next to us. They looked amazing. When our cheesecakes came they were in a bowl, more like a yoghurt with berries and crumbled biscuit at the side. I said to one of the white blouse girls that we had ordered the cheesecake. She tried to say that was what we got. My daughter showed her a photograph of the dessert she got the week before which was the same as the family on the next table had got. She tried to say they were on the Al a crate menu. We said we’d had it last week on the Sunday lunch menu. Why was she lying. She went and spoke to someone and returned to said the other family had the last slices. I can accept that there was none left but why did she have to lie. They should have just said they had no more cheesecake left. Sadly we left without having a dessert. There was a £7 service charge added to the bill. I wanted to have it removed but my daughter just wanted to leave. Over £50 for two roast dinners (plus two J2O’s) was an absolute rip off. The local Toby carvery tastes a whole lot better. Needless to say I won’t be returning.

Went to the Stoke in Radison Red. Liverpool Sunday lunch on the menu. On ready the menu, it said 2 courses for £23.95 & 3 course £25.95. Bargain we thought. Ready the menu, it was the usual roast potatoes, veg, etc. the meat choice was chicken, lamb & roast gammon. If you chose the chicken it was a £3 supplement, if lamb a £5 supplement. So basically it was a gammon roast unless you paid more..ok we thought. Until the bill. Bottle of pino rose wine £25. (£5 to buy) They have service charge £10.— & vat. £13.83. So all In told, our Sunday lunch. Wasn’t as cheap as what we seen on the menu, because of the hidden extras. But. The food was good

My partner and I chose Stoke at Raddison Red for our Easter Sunday Lunch as we had seen it posted on social medias around the city and we were NOT disappointed! The decor is beautiful and has an artistic yet homely feel. Atmosphere was lively and welcoming - family friendly but could also see how this could be a fabulous spot for a date night and a few drinks. Though we didn’t try any, the cocktail menu looked fantastic and will be back to try them. We had the haddock starter with curry mayonnaise which was delightful! Tasty and light - exactly what you want before digging into an big roast dinner. We then had the gammon and beef loin roasts with all the trimmings. Both meats were cooked beautifully (we shared!) and tasted delicious. It was difficult to pick a favourite but for me it had to be the beef loin, the rich flavour of the meat was unbelievable. Beef often tastes of beef and can be difficult to ‘flavour’, but the strip loin at Stoke had a light herby taste that enriched the meat and was very welcome! The gammon was also rich in flavour and my partner’s preference - a hint of sweetness, decadent and cooked to perfection. The gravy is mouth-wateringly flavourful and I was grateful to have ordered extra Yorkshire puddings to dip in! The roast potatoes are the best I’ve ever had, crunchy yet so fluffy. The carrots were also a big favourite of mine - sweet and a nice offset to the meat. We did take up the option of ordering extra an Yorkshire pudding each and a portion of roast potatoes to share although the portion sizes were just right (we are just very greedy!). We found the Sunday lunch price for 2 courses very reasonable for city centre - we have eaten in South Liverpool and paid an additional £25 for a roast that didn’t come close to this. Had we not been so full we would’ve absolutely opted for dessert. The service staff were very attentive and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. We are also fans of a quick and simple meal down at our local carvery but if you are looking for something upmarket, tasty and special for your Sunday Roast I could not recommend Stoke enough!

AMAZING experience for Sunday roast. We were a table of 8, booked from Monday to have a "tik tok" adventure, and we weren't disappointed. Hummus with warm pita bread, carrot soup, haddock croquette were are starters. And for mains, we had half roast chicken, that was felling of the bone, the vegetable Wellington, was something new and my niece was surprised how good was as a vegetarian, and all the rest had gammon that was drizzled with honey and literary was melting in your mouth. Roasties sweet exceptional and the massive Yorkshire puddings. We didn't go for 3 courses as we were not be able to move .We have booked a table for the 21st of April.

I then had the gammon and veg Wellington which was something else!! Full of flavour and like nothing I’ve tasted before ! Absolutely brilliant 🤩 Every course was quickly prepared and served yet the quality and attention was top tier which is rather hard to find ! Will definitely be back with family for loads more !! Decent service. Fun fact: In 1960; when my father was just 19, he had broken into 26 Slater Street a number of times and was reported in the local newspapers such as the Liverpool Echo. 26 Slater Street used to be called the Corinthian Coffee Club.

We ordered a giant cookie on the second of feb to be collected on the 17th feb giving plenty time for it to be made. The day before pick up I ran the branch and asked about the cookie to which the lady rudely replied she hadn’t got an order and that there was lots of staff so it had gone missing, she didn’t even think to ask what was my order and instead told me to ring back at 4:30pm as she was extremely busy. As this cookie was for an event I didn’t want to risk not getting it and with the employee not really listening and being rude on the phone I went down to speak to her to my Surprise (not) she was not busy instead on her phone with her headphones in I spoke about the issue with the missing order and showed her my receipt to which she replied (I believe you) well I’m glad she did as she took my order on the 2nd. She never apologised or even acknowledges her mistake instead was extremely rude. I’m sure this isn’t the time of person Millie’s wants as the front for there business because I will not be going back and I’m sure others will feel the same if they have to deal with the same rudeness and inconvenience.
