Sticks’N’Sushi in Kensington and Chelsea

The food and service is very good here and there are some really cool interesting dishes! However, for the price of it - I would say there are better restaurants available if you’re coming to London at a much better price.

We went on a Sunday night. The food was good and it had nice flavours, specifically the beef stick and the salmon sashimi. The seating is also good.

We returned yet again today and had a delicious lunch. The food is delicious and so fresh and we were served by Sim who was both friendly and extremely efficient and very smiley. We will go back again soon

I went to this restaurant with my daughter. It wasn't the first time I'd been there but this time I came across horrible staff. If you are black or of mixed race, be accompanied by a white person, in which case you will be treated well. If not, just don't go, or choose a black host if there are any. Rude staff!

We’ve eaten at the Greenwich branch and enjoyed it so we went here , family of 3, but it’s very disappointing - the food here is ok - tbh Greenwich sushi was way better - but the staff here in kings Road are so damn quick to get you in and out that the same waiter took away our food twice as we’d put it to the side and we had to ask for it back - felt very very rushed. We ordered cocktails and asked for water but they didn’t bring us water, no idea why. Meal cost over £150 for 2 adults and a child - so it’s expensive so you want to enjoy it but sadly we didn’t. Then at the end the waitress - the only one that was actually attentive to us accidentally spilled boiling water down husbands back as she squeezed past with a pot of tea to another table - he loudly yelped and shot forward in his seat - oh did that get you? Was all she said. Wasn’t a lot - just a large splash. You could see she was mortified so we didn’t make a fuss - we’re not that kind of people - but we were avoided from that point on and kinda made us feel abandoned. Wouldn’t come back here.

Sticks n Sushi never disappoints! We go here every Sunday as a family and always order a bunch of food for the table. All of the starters are tasty (especially the beef tataki, ebi panko and the chicken karage to pick a few), and the sushi is always amazing and filling (my favourite being the ebi panko). All the fish is fresh and delicious, with the mixed sashimi being a family favourite. The service is also impeccable, and the waiters are all really kind and always doing their best to satisfy our needs. Today, we were served by Nicki, who constantly was checking up on us to make sure that we were happy with all - which was very nice. If you’re looking for a vibrant atmosphere and tasty food, Sticks n Sushi is the place to go. 5 stars.

Came here for a celebratory dinner only to be questioned at the door and put in an uncomfortable position about our age despite all being adults. Being id’ed is never something I’ve experienced when entering a restaurant and it is not stated on their website that this is case. We sat at our table and then 3 waitresses came to us and rudely asked us to move our chairs to be able to get around us despite us sitting exactly as the chairs were originally placed. Overall we felt very rushed by the staff and what was meant to be a special evening was ruined by the constant reminder from the staff that they wanted us out and quickly.

We choose this branch and often coming here as it’s near our house. The ‘Perfect Day’ meal for 2 is our favourite. We paired it with a bottle of Chenin Blanc. The whole meal made a Perfect Day !

I've been craving to eat sushi and decided to try it here. It was worth it, the food was so good. The visual did not disappoint me. I had a great time here and definitely will visit again.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would! By far the worst customer service I’ve ever received. We booked a table in the restaurant area for 10:30-12:30 for NYE and they took a deposit, making out it was an event. We arrived and they sat us in the bar (not the restaurant as we’d booked) at the table closest to the exit. At 11 all the staff put their hats and coats on and lingered by our table trying to put pressure on us to leave! We called a manager over and told her we were being made to feel uncomfortable and she said ‘it’s because we’re waiting for you to leave’. They clearly all had parties to get to so didn’t want us staying for our whole booking so tried to make us feel like an inconvenience so we’d have no choice but to leave- which we then did. Awful, never returning.

Family christmas treat. The food was absolutely amazing, definitely worth the cost! You are also able to see your food being made down stairs, this is really fun and interesting to watch. Our server, Janelle was so helpful and attentive. She gave us plenty of time when we were struggling to choose and offered to give us some tips on what to order. The warm sake was amazing and I highly recommend trying it. The atmosphere was great, if you are brining someone here with limited tastes there were options for such as single filling maki. There are also really incredible sushi's with a mix of flavours not only in the filling but topping and sauces too. From the veg I recommend the cauliflower and broccoli the most. And the maki with avocado, tempura prawn and sauce was my favorite main. I recommend if you have sound sensory issues to bring some ear plugs, I wore my engage loops and they were perfect as when full with people as it was it could be too noisy to cope without a buffer. The music can feel a too loud at times but with the chatter it can also be a nice distraction as the music choice is very appropriate and appealing. Hope this helps :)

Last time we had dinner at this restaurant ( a year ago), service was awful! we didn’t feel like coming back! Nevertheless my wife was craving sushi so we gave it another go! It doesn’t matter what you choose from this menu - absolutely everything is incredible! Accompany that with great service, stylish decor, a buzzing atmosphere and delicious drinks makes for a perfect evening spent with friends. I’ve never had a bad experience at any Sticks n Sushi and am so excited to see that one is coming to Richmond!

I was for lunch .I have ordered broccoli and the the food was burned. I told the waitress that the food is burned and he didn’t ask if I wanted another plate but took the plate and gone and came after with another place without asking if I wanted again or not.I already finished the lunch.The second plate come like shows in the photo.

I booked this place for my husband birthday and specified in my booking that it’s a special occasion and give us a good table. Our table was next to toilets, the waiter was a trainee and when I mentioned we want this food on the menu for two people he didn’t mention it’s only for four people. We ended up with a lots of food and a hefty bill to pay! To make it worse they did no mention of my husband birthday! Very disappointing!

We ordered the Carpe Diem and the food was as good as the restaurants in this group. Unfortunately the service was poor. The staff spent most of their time hanging about together by the till and gossiping with each other and made minimal effort to serve us. They dumped the food on the table and cleared away as if they were doing us a favour by serving us. The restaurant was quiet and they could have paid d more attention to ensure that we had a good time. Not impressed and will not be returning to this restaurant. Not as good as other locations.

I stopped here walking in the road! I thought the de or looks great, very minimalist m. The bar was nice, but I haven’t eaten here as the hostess was a bit nonsense. He served the couple that arrived after us first letting us wait for almost 10 min to check if a table was available. We asked a table he said he would come back. I never saw a restaurant that the person checking bookings and tables leaving the door for 10 min or more. Definitely they need to or hire someone else or do some changes.
