My friend ordered a takeaway for us as we were looking forward to trying something new. We ordered from the Sherston branch and it was an hour late with little communication from the delivery chap. By the time it arrived the foid was luke warm and frankly disgusting. Barely any meat in the goat or the brown curry and any that there was was on the bone, so basically we had a plate full of bones at the end of the meal. The plantation was tasteless and over cooked, the rice had red kidney beans and not peas as advertised and was bone dry. We were given some complimentary jerk chicken which was the only thing that really had any taste.Everything that we had paid for was awful. Shall not be ordering again. We o ly ate it because we were so hungry and it was too late to go anywhere else to eat.Such a shame!!

Really rude owner - tried speaking to Rodgen a couple of times to speak about our service at his restaurant and he would pick up then just hang up the phone after you introduce yourself. Absolutely terrible. AVOID.

So, Stewart's has been open for a couple of months and had been meaning to give it a try as I love Jamaican food... I've worked in Manchester and had food from sunrise and loved it. I talked the Mrs into it for our treat tea instead of the obligatory Chinese or Indian. Really looking forward to it we both ordered jerk chicken with rice and pea. On the side we ordered some veg and dumplings. The website had half of the menu missing, no patties, no salt fish etc etc. Couple of minutes after ordering got a call to say they were out of stock of dumplings, veg and fruit punch drink... Gonna admit I was a bit gutted... Anyhow it was a Saturday night and they might have been very busy and run out so I let it go. Food came within 20 mins which is great... The Jerk chicken was delicious and the rice and pea was among the best I've tried. All in all I'd definitely go back and have recommended to friends already, my only hope is that next time they have stocked up and can fulfill the whole menu as I'd probably go mad and order a few different meals like the goat and brown chicken stew to give a try as the prices are great value. For Burys sake I hope they stay open as its a welcome change and the service is excellent.

Would grade as minus if I had the option. Ordered a takeaway, was an hour late so called them up, strange bloke denied an order ever coming through despite an email confirmation! Stay away

Rang for delivery but told 1.5hrs and collection only 15mins. Placed order for 3 mains and 2 sides. On collection food not ready then when received the order was wrong food stone cold and charged more than menu prices. Wouldn't recommend and will not go again.

Four friends, in need of change from Chinese/Thai/Indian/Pizza takeaways, were looking forward to trying Stewart's Jamaican Takeaway. Menu choices were limited, but that didn't bother us, as we felt that less choice meant better quality. Each main course came with either chips, rice or 'boiled food'. We looked up what 'boiled food' meant and it seemed to mean a combination of boiled potatoes, yams, plantain and greens'. The men went to buy food and the women stayed at home, warming plates, drinking wine and snaffling Chilli Sensations. The guys were gone a long time. They finally arrived and explained that they'd had to stop off at a Chinese takeaway for rice and chips because: The fryer was broken down, so there were no chips, no fried chicken. Also they'd run out of rice. They'd run out of all fish dishes, jerk chicken and the beef casserole. They men bought goat curry, some chicken, some fried plantain, some Jamaican coleslaw. Because there was no rice or chips, they opted for the 'boiled food' with everything. The 'boiled food' turned out to be simply boiled potatoes and some flat, heavy, white dumplings that looked like chicken-fillet-bra-fillers. They were in everything, obviously to compensate for the lack of meat/chicken and were undercooked and totally inedible. The goat curry, what little there was of it, was tender, but watery and insipid. The chicken was okay, but there was woefully little of it. We paid £23 for the food and I have to say that if we'd been nearer the shop, we'd have taken it back for a refund. Bearing in mind that it was only about 8.15pm on a Saturday night, a takeaway should NOT run out of food and if it does, it should not sell undersized portions that have been filled out with boiled potatoes and awful dumpling-things. They certainly saw us coming and it is safe to say that we won't be returning. Terrible food and a complete rip-off.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Ordered food for my family on a Saturday night as a treat. I ordered a KFC popcorn chicken pizza and a meat feast pizza and a portion of potato wedges. My food arrived 50 minutes later. It was cold the pizza base was dry and bland and the crust was tough as everything. I phoned the Prestwich pizza hut to complain about my food order. I even offered to return the food back as I’m not happy with it and I would like a full refund I have been told I cannot have a refund through Prestwich Pizza Hut I have to go for a customer service online which can take up to 48 hours for them to contact me back.
