Station Brew in Oldham

Called in for lunch. It's a lovely cafe with locally sourced produce. The staff are lovely. It has a good choice of cakes as well. Food was fab and came out quickly.

This is a Cosy little cafe, parking nearby is an issue, so we parked on tesco and walked up, so be aware of this. The staff are very nice and the decor is cute. What I didnt like was two things; 1. We ordered the big English breakfast, but it all came piled up on top of each other! I think they had tried a marketing ploy of using a smaller plate to look like there was more food than there was, but it looked messy - my hubby described it looking lik a 'bag of washing'! I would much preferred it to be presented neater and on a larger plate, so everything didn't fly off 2. The price: It was the most expensive we had paid for full English in a cafe, the food was nice but definitely not value formoney. So we won't be going back.

Went to a baby shower. Had a hot afternoon tea. Food was delicious and the staff were fantastic and very attentive. Would recommend for small events. The decor is lovely.

Gorgeous little cafe, reallly good for allergies. I had gluten free eggs royale which was amazing, and my friend had the Brie and cranberry toastie which also looked great. So nice to find somewhere local offering great gluten free options! Thank you will definitely be back!

Visited for lunch yesterday, a great little café, cosy and super friendly. Great GF options, it was so refreshing to be able to read a menu and see there were lots of choice for GF and really tasty too. It can be a struggle to find places that don’t cater or if they do offer a very limited choice. Station Brew is a MUST! 🤗

Just had a lovely breakfast this morning. Quality produce cooked to perfection by Anna. Everything spot on, tasty sausages and bacon, and perfect poached eggs. Fantastic, keep up the good work. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely superb! Followed them online for a while, and admired their food. Eating it in person didn’t disappoint, the green cheese with poached eggs was magnificent. Service excellent, friendly and accommodating. We took away cake. The brownie and Californian orange cake were sublime. Please visit if you are in the area. You won’t be disappointed.

Quality food prepared fresh with Quality ingredients from local suppliers. There is a bit of a wait to get your food but is is cooked fresh and is well worth the wait. Apart from the menu there are also excellent daily specials and the home made cakes are superb. Brilliant coffee as well and the views across the valley from the dining room are special. Well worth a visit.

Been going to Station Brew since it first opened. Food and drinks are always great. Friendly staff and great service. Cannot post pics of the food as I ate it all! Dark woods coffee which in my opinion is the best coffee ever.

Husband's birthday so we took him for a late breakfast. Hadn't been before but thought we give somewhere new a try. We all absolutely loved our food and drinks so will definitely be regular visitors! Two x smaller English breakfasts (with hash brown extras) and one full sized, every element was delicious. Cappuccino, latte and Yorkshire tea all lovely too. Came to £36, including a second round of drinks, which we all thought was very reasonable. Lovely little place. It took a little while for the food to arrive but we didn't mind at all as we knew it was being freshly cooked and we enjoyed our chance to chat. Friendly staff too. Good to see it was popular too - busy, but thriving. It's great to see that in a local business.

We stayed in the AirBNB apartment above this fab place for 2 nights for a wedding we were attending nearby. The Full English was cooked well and made with really tasty produce, including the toast! Yorkshire tea in a teapot (as it should be) and excellent coffee and then….the chocolate flapjack! OMG! The staff were very friendly and helpful as was the lovely chef who was working her last weekend! The others are just as good we are assured. 5 stars all around. Thanks for cooking the eggs well too!

We visited this morning as we're staying at Dovestone Holiday Park. I booked in advance to make sure we could get in and they reserved us a table with a lovely view.Really great food and nice helpful staff. I had the little breakfast with a couple of extras, was nicely presented and tasted great, bread was also lovely. Only very minor criticism would be my fried egg was a little overcooked, but then I didn't specify a preference and certainly didn't detract from the experience hence 5 stars still.It is family friendly and high chair was provided for our 8 month old.Parking just outside across the street which I checked we were OK to use.Overall very well done and most definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

My friend and I visit Station Brew most Saturday mornings for breakfast and we are never disappointed. The staff are lovely and friendly and the food is always amazing !!! Definitely recommend this place !!

One of my first trips out in 2021 ... had been waiting for over a year to visit this fabulous cafe due to lockdown restrictions. Great venue to catch up with good friends, delicious food and wide selection of vegan dishes. Exemplary customer care and the views are breathtaking. Highly recommended!

Station Brew makes the nice nicest food, I couldn't find a better veggie sausage sandwich if I tried! They have the most wonderful staff who are polite and always ready to serve. I would suggest giving it a go, I have no doubt you will have a great experience!

I'm not usually a fan of take away breakfast but I ordered a full English, great produce and portion size. Wasn't very hot by the time I got it home, 5 minutes in the oven didn't ruin it at all.

Awesome vegan breakfast, which set me up for the busy day ahead. Always excellent service, food and coffee. They also have the best vegan scones and smoothies.

Have visited here a number of times for breakfast and the food and service has always been great. Would highly recommend. Just make sure you book for breakfast on weekend as it does get busy.

Booked a family breakfast time just post lockdown.... what a fantastic job they have done with their compact space. Great screens separate diners, staff masked up and hand sanitisers a plenty for all to see and use, even before you enter the building.Their usual excellent full English breakfasts and Eggs Royale ....well done to all staff who made this a fab morning for us as a first dining out breakfast post lockdown.

Love this little place and pleased to see it open again. We booked a brunch in advance and we were not disappointed. They have really taken the Covid seriously, with screens and gel to keep people safe. We both really enjoyed our breakfast, coffees and smoothies and take home scones for later. The staff as always are a delight. Welcome back guys.

Great coffee, so good I had 3.Signature dish so tasty and healthy too .Avocado, spinach, cheese and eggs ,what could be better? And lovely friendly helpful staff to boot . Certainly would recommend anyone to go there.

Me and my daughter have visited a few time’s and always had wonderful service. The staff have always been very friendly. The food is fantastic and a great value for money.

Rang up to order poached eggs on toast, and a toasted tea cake. Got charged £6.95 for this and a can, which I thought was very very steep. Unfortunately received neither once I got back to the office and opened them up, I received a fried egg and a barely buttered muffin.Overpriced and dissapointing, will never go back.

Have driven past loads of times, but on this occasion was early for my train so quashing the guilt of the greedy, decided on a second breakfast ...Bacon and sausage butty and a large strong latte ... which were awesome and set me up for the morning ahead.Staff were charming and we enjoyed a bit of banter about my second breakfast (rather more calories than a couple of Weetabix and a herbal tea). Enjoyed the view up the valley.

Never been disappointed with the food here it’s always excellent! Portion sizes are great, you won’t leave here feeling hungry! All the staff are so friendly. Really recommend the full English breakfast and the eggs Benedict; it’s my favourite in Saddleworth & I’m lucky enough to have it as my local! It’s small and cosy inside so best to book on weekends.

Always a warm welcome. Excellent fresh food which caters for many food intolerant diets. Straight across from the station, it has a screen so you can keep an eye on the train arrivals:departures while you enjoy their delights.

This little gem of a place is opposite the station & is like the tarsus with amazing views. The menu is extensive & the portion sizes are generous. The food was freshly cooked to perfection. They do a great cup of coffee too. I was issued with a loyalty card & will definitely be back.

What a delightful lunch for a party of 8 plus a baby at Station Brew. The staff were very accommodating seating us together with room for the sleeping baby - plus it’s a breastfeeding friendly cafe.

Past this cosy place and decided we would try breakfast , well we was in for a treat, my daughter who is vegetarian had the vegan breakfast and she said it was delicious, my son in law and myself has the small breakfast and believe me they weren't small great potion, and tasted lovely

Called here for well deserved coffee, sandwich & cake after a morning spent exercising. Nice large cappuccinos followed by tuna & red onion on granary bread- accompanied by salad & pot of home made coleslaw- absolutely gorgeous. Several homemade cakes on display- i chose a slice of lemon & my friend had the chocolate & raspberry option. The back room in cafe gives u chance to enjoy the view across the valley whilst eating so perfect lunchtime treat. Food, drink & service were all great

The only place I’ve seen so far who makes a toast with a layer of melted cheddar, avacado and spinach. Extremely rich breakfast, will keep you full all day.

We chose this place due to the high rating on trip advisor and we were not disappointed. We were seated at possibly the best view in the cafe with lovely views out onto Greenfield. There was plenty of room for a pram and a high chair was also available.

the food here is absolutely amazing. I have been here multiple times for breakfast, lunch. The staff are also very friendly and are very polite. it is located in the perfect location, right across from the station.

this little gem is great and very convenient if you are arriving or leaving via the train station. the food is scrumptious and the beverages are lovely. the opening times are good even for those early birds, and i would recommend it!

Great welcome along with great food, coffee and service. There is a huge breakfast choice as well as lunch food. They make link with other local businesses by selling homemade food from local producers. Wonderful atmosphere. Excellent visit.

We didn't bring the dogs this time but they are more than welcome. Excellent vegan options and was very pleased to see a vegan cooked breakfast, which was just too good to refuse. Generous portions and excellent quality made fresh whilst you wait. Even better they have vegan CAKE!!

I have visited this great cafe numerous times and have always been pleased with the experience.

Didn’t think we were going to get a table. Hadn’t prebooked and it was busy at about 11.30 on a Sunday morning. However we did get one near the door. Very small cafe with 2 small rooms. Only 5 small tables for 2 at the front. Very busy also with customers calling in for take away drinks and food. Shows how popular it is. The staff are wonderful... so cheerful and warm. Took our order quickly. Waited about 15 mins for drinks and about half hour for breakfast. Was worth the wait though. I had a lovely veggie breakfast and struggled to finish it. Wasn’t overkeen on the halloumi that I ordered as an extra. It was slightly soggy. I would def recommend it here. We parked down on the Tesco car park and walked up the very steep slope. It is opposite the train station. The cafe also sells coffee beans and recycled cups. Loved it!

Called in before going for the train, probably the best presentation of a breakfast I’ve ever received. Tasted great too, reasonably priced for the quality and portion too. Will definitely return.

Drive past this cafe on a regular basis, and eventually managed to stop and visit. So glad I did. Good service, great food and lovely atmosphere. Would recommend it.

Great vegan full English available which was extremely tasty. Good range of teas and vegan cakes on offer as well. Only issue with found with the food was that it was a mix of temperatures such as cold mushrooms which blooming hot beans. But overall, a lovely meal and friendly service.

We unfortunately only had half an hour to spare when visiting this lovely little establishment on the way back to the Railway Station after spending the morning and early afternoon on the Moors.

Called in for a quick drink and light bite on a Saturday morning but turned in to a long wait, service disorganised, waited a long time and didn’t get the right order when it did come. Service mixed, won’t be calling again.

Lovely cafe next door to the Railway pub & opposite the Train station. Good selection on the menu & artisan bread to choose from. Coffe was great. Would reccomend when in the area.

Such a friendly team. I've been stopping in on my way to work every couple of weeks since they opened and I love the place. I make good use of their loyalty card scheme and enjoy a friendly chat with the staff in the morning as much as I enjoy their coffee!

Superb little Cafe with excellent breakfast and lunch menu that caters for everyone from meat eaters, veggies and vegans. The breakfasts are splendid, possibly the best veggie fry up breakfast I’ve ever had.

I have to say that we have visited here several times and have never been disappointed. The food is always tasty and the staff are always friendly and accommodating. They also do the most amazing cakes. . Great view from the toilet. All very clean too.

Difficult to park - especially on such a steep hill its easier to try & park outside! The decor is lovely, the staff are very helpful too. The food was gorgeous.

We arrived late in the day not far from closing on saturday afternoon after a long walk to sample the vegan cake selection as advertised. We were made very welcome staff were chatty and very friendly beth who bakes the lovely cakes and the owner made us and 3 wet dogs very welcome. The coffee is high standard and the pineapple and carrot cake is lovely and the brownie and lemon drizzle all in all great place to stop by on your travels

Me and the family have been in the Brew for breakfast a few times and it never disappoints. From the eggs to the sausages to the tremendous bread it’s a delight and the view in the back room is beautiful. It’s up there with the best brekkies around, wash it down with a cuppa and your done! Being a regular user of the station, I have often walked past and thought I must give the place a go. Visited with my daughter early afternoon mid week. The food was lovely and the staff were very friendly. Looks tiny from outside, but there is a room at the back. Better still we could take our dog with us. The tuna and cheese panini was delicious. Fairly priced against local competition. Will visit again

Opening a new fancy metropolitan styled cafe in a quiet rural village is a bit of a risk to take. The proprietors of Station Brew have pulled off thIs task superbly. The locally sourced Darkwoods coffee is fantastic (also sold in Harrods) as are the range of homemade cakes and satisfyingly restrained breakfasts.

We love station brew. It is our new local favourite. They use darkwoods coffee from Marsden. The beams make the coffee one of the best in Manchester.

Been here a few times now, great little place with welcoming staff, delicious food and wonderful views. According to my wife (who is always right) and our next door neighbour they have the best coffee in the area.

Discovered this lovely little place by chance today. Walked in, felt immediately at home. Warm and fuzzy feeling about the place if you get my drift?! Coffee decent. Make their own cakes. Rest of the menu looks good too. I enjoyed my half hour there and wish them all the luck in the world to succeed. Perhaps I should make it my local for breakfast.....that just involves a 15 mike drive!! Hey ho, effort must be made to experience good stuff! Keep up the good work. The Baker.

Me and my girlfriend came here to have lunch with some friends. The flat white was excellent. I also really loved the bacon and brie sandwich with fresh doorstop slices of bread. Managed to resist the cake but it also looked great.

Visited Station Brew today for a second time, as it was so good on my first. Welcoming, friendly, great atmosphere and ambiance.

I love this cafe! A real artisan experience with all food homemade from local suppliers and really fresh. The menu options are really varied and accommodate lots of different dietary requirements (including my slimming world ones!) and are so friendly and welcoming while doing it. Fresh homemade cakes to go with your lovely drinks too.

What a lovely new cafe that has recently opened in Greenfield this year. The staff are all really friendly and welcoming, the decor is really nice and what I love about the place is that a lot of the furniture is upcycled.

Was very happy to make a return visit to Station Brew for a family brunch. We were able to reserve a table for 12 at 11 on a Wednesday morning. Everyone in our party was delighted with their food which arrived in a very timely fashion. The staff could not have been friendlier and were happy to accommodate those in our party with allergies. All the food is locally sourced and they even have compostable take away cups! I highly recommend the green cheese on toast.

After hearing about this place on BBC Radio Manchester I decided I had to make a visit. I wasn't disappointed. Great coffee and the full English breakfast was to die for.

Popped in for coffee with the girls,two hours later,we were still sat chatting.the place has a nice vibe to it and has the most fabulous views of the Heather clad pennines at the back.it has a good selection of breakfast through to afternoon snack items,good coffee and lovely staff.well done,I will be back

This cafe opened in July 2017 opposite the railway station in the building that used to be the newsagents.
