Starbucks Coffee in Camden

Ordered hot chocolate. The final result was anything but hot chocolate! What a shame!

Came to the till, one member of staff just standing on their mobile ignoring customers. The rest of the staff all laughing and joking and mucking around behind the bar. A different staff member then came over, said hello and then proceeded to look away and stare into the ether not listening to our order. I then repeat the order and ask for Oat milk, as both me and my partner CANNOT have dairy. She puts the other through, and we take our drinks and leave. About 10 mins later we realise we have drank half and BOTH are Dairy… causing us both to be unwell. The staff need to be spoken to, they were incredibly unprofessional and they are lucky it was not a Milk allergy because it could have killed someone…. Disappointed to say the least.

I've been a loyal Starbucks customer at this location for years. While I appreciate the generally friendly staff, I've frequently experienced order errors. In particular, I've had negative interactions with a specific employee (a blond woman) who has been dismissive when mistakes are pointed out. I recommend double-checking your order, especially if she is preparing it. Otherwise, the rest of the team is great!

MOBILE PHONE THIEVES OPERATE HERE. Staff are aware as it is a regular occurrence and will help you with reporting the theft to the police. Beware of people creating a distraction to steal your valuables.

Just got charged £2.80 when I asked for hot water to feed my baby formula, well done Starbucks, maybe train your management team :)

Worst Starbucks experience in London. There were not many customers, but the attitude was bad and impatient when taking orders. I didn't ask if I wanted to eat in or take out. The waiter made it for take out himself. When I asked him for a tray when I picked up the food, he rolled his eyes at me.

This has got to be the “sorry-est” cup of tea ever served. I asked for hot milk to ensure optimum temperature based on previous experience with Starbucks elsewhere. What I was served is lukewarm muddy water. Really annoying as I was truly looking forward to it.

Lazy staff, closing upstairs 2 hours before closing when it was full with customers, presumably so they can go home early.

I came to this Starbucks spot the beginning of last November 2024 on my London trip. At that time there was an issue I guess with the payment network for NFC/ApplePay payments and since I didnt have my wallet I couldnt purchase using ApplePay, So the two lovely ladies who served me (Aylin and Amanda) right away just said dont worry about it its on us today. With a big smiles and no further questions. They just said looks like Christmas came early. As for my order the Americano was perfect Starbucks Americano and also had a cheese pastry that was really nice. I Just wanted to give this shout out to Aylin and Amanda for their excellent service and customer experience , it just doesnt get much better, so Thank you

I was greeted by a lovely man who served me, he was extremely polite and friendly. As I was waiting for my drink, the lady worker asked if I was waiting for a certain drink, I said yes, and she let me know it's coming now. As she noticed I had a crutch she asked me if I needed any help taking my drinks to a seat, and said she would help me, i let her know i have someone with me, and she was extremely wholesome. Wished me a lovely day and take care. 10/10 for service.

Lots of people, therefore, not a lot of room to sit. The staff was friendly. Good hot chocolate, however the pastry leaves something to be desired.

amanda at the till was very rude

I had a disappointing experience with the staff, as they came across as incredibly rude. I asked my question three times, and Niki simply ignored it, repeating unrelated responses while looking directly at me. I even rephrased the question several times to make it easier to understand, but it was still disregarded. I strongly suggest that the staff undergo training to better address customer queries and improve their communication skills. If understanding a question four times in a row is an issue, it may also be helpful to focus on improving English proficiency to provide a better customer experience.

After ordering and paying, wait half an hour until the coffee is ready.

I didn't like the coffee at all, colored slop. Positive note: free Wifi.

The music in this place is so loud, dreadful and obnoxious - can barely get some reading or work here without headphones.

Really nice cafe, but the vast majority of seating is upstairs and they close upstairs TWO HOURS before closing because their lazy staff want to get home early.

Absolutely dispicable. Like other posts have mentioned the staff is incredibly rude, as mentioned in other posts the Indian lady who works there is very racist and rude. I saw her getting into to fights with customers shouting at them with threats. Horrible. Starbucks do better. Also like the other reviews the place is a mess poor management has allowed the place to depreciate very quickly, it's central London. You are setting an example to the rest of the world, I'm disappointed. Truly a horrible experience.

The wifi access is poor and the music is too loud/obtrusive, not ideal for studying.

I have been buying coffee from this shop for a long time. But recently I find the staff is getting so rude. At first I thought it could be a coincidence, but eventually it turn out to be not. After buying another coffee today, I decided to leave a review. One Indian looking girl just kept talking loudly behind the till and made customers waiting to order, even during the ordering she still talked to the colleagues. Her face and attitude just made me feel like I was the one interrupted and annoyed her.

Terrible service!! Coffee was good (my usual, iced brown sugar oat shaken espresso) but I'm not rating coffee as its standard I guess in the chain. The shop was dirty, messy, I sat at dirty table with stuff left after previous people sitting, seemed like there is lots of staff but nobody cared/bothered to tidy up a little bit. Upstairs is cool, but again, get messy quite quickly. And, about the service, the lady made my drink, almost threw it at me shouting something I didn't understood, I asked for a straw, cause didn't see them, she said she won't give me one cause she gave me the lid I can drink through. I just grabbed one straw myself after a moment of looking out for them, and left. And I don't want to come back ever again. There is million of Starbucks around, I'll be happy to have a little stroll to another one.

Disgusting experience. I visit this cafe from time to time and never found this cafe clean. The toilet is always dirty, smelly and looks like it hasn't been cleaned properly for a long time.

Delicious takeaway coffee in a central location.

Dirty, tables left unclean. The bin was so full people just left their stuff around it. No toilet paper. Not a pleasant Starbucks at all. Understaffed maybe?

Absolutely appalled by my experience. Ordered a baby chino which was severely over the recommended temperature to serve a child! My nephew spilt the baby chino over him causing him server burns. Staff totally ignored us and did nothing to help while my nephew was screaming in pain. Staff need training on the temperature they serve their drinks to children! Staff were appalling. Did nothing to help while nephew was severely burnt from a drink meant for a child! I will be taking this further.

Minimal connection from the employees

The employee "Gosha" is very beautiful and kind. Her interactions were very nice and friendly. She made me a cup of coffee, and I had a very beautiful and happy day.

I had the biggest disappointment of my life in this Starbucks. I clearly explained my drink order and the guy serving me laughed and proceeded to make me the completely wrong drink, even though the order printed correct, there wasn’t even coffee in my drink, very disappointed do not recommend. No soap or tissue in bathrooms also.

I was disappointed with this Starburst in Oxford Street. I wanted to order some new drinks. But there was no menu for the drinks. So I show the menu picture to the staff. They said “Oh we don’t have it. Check another Starbucks” and then they are chatting each other. I was super annoyed and disappointed The staff are unfriendly and they don’t have any service in mind.

I came to the institution for my birthday (usually they give coffee) but I have nothing 🤣 My choice was a latte (and it was very strong, and not as usual), the barista was not very happy 😀 but the establishment is good.

We had some coffee, some desserts and a coffee and milk. Great for a break, several seats in the upper room.

Have to agree with the other reviews...people sleeping on the sofas, disgusting toilets (one still out of order) and a general feel of uncleanness not to mention unhygenic. I love Starbucks, they are my favourite coffee chain, but this sadly is one to avoid

Maybe the worst Starbucks I have been at. Quality of service and drinks gets low. The restroom was dirty with a line of 15 minutes, the other restroom was out of order. Not ok.

Cozy, not busy on the second floor airy. Loads of young professionals around. Fintech coffee ☕ hub in Central London. Try the strawberry 🍓 smoothies, very refreshing.

Big shop, lots if seats provided

The place is extremely crowded any day. Whether it's the weekend or weekdays, the place does not have enough seats despite having an upstairs area. When I went recently, the downstairs area was closed so maybe that added to the problem. Not a lot of Starbucks have matcha latte as well so I was glad that they had matcha lattes. Really professional and quick staff. They were able to provide a good drink. But again, there weren't enough seats.

Service good, but music very loud and poor quality.

Lovely and spacious place and I like 1 st floor area just outside Tottenham court station . The costumer service young girl so she seems not happy to work but it was that bad. I like it this is one if the best Starbucks in the city .

I was here before the closing time so I was really quick with my order because I know how frustrating is to receive an order before the closing time but my barista forgot to scan my rewards card, after I kindly asked for it one lady called Nickolatta came and asked me WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM I AM HERE NOW? which didn’t make any sense and made my experience and sense of empathy go downhill. No need for this attitude and negativity Nickolatta. I hope you change it.

Two toilets, one is always out of order. No soap.

Only one toilet room available, so there was a considerable queue outside of it. Bins were full, so it was unpleasant to see the trash around it. Even the Chai Latte I had was not as good as I remember it from other Starbucks branches.

Arrived close to closing hour. The place looked like it was a war zone!

The line is super long out to the sidewalk on a hot summer heatwave day and two employees are hugging and talking for 10 mins instead of serving and getting the line shorter, what's going on with the service here? At least go to the back?

today at 10:18 I entered the store and ordered a large cappuccino not very hot with coconut milk and a frapucino .when I received the cappuccino ..it was very hot I talked to the girl there to put her hand to check that it is very hot. She just put her hand on the glass. She added milk on top. And that was it. She didn't apologize for anything. Lack of professionalism. it's a shame it's a great place, but this way of serving spoils the store I didn't manage to see his name... because it wasn't visible on the chest

Es un Starbucks bastante céntrico aunque en la ciudad hay como 2000 mil starbucks. Tomamos Iced late y una cookie y bien. Estuvimos en la planta de arriba con buenas vistas y no había mucha gente.

POPULAR SPOT FOR THIEVES - otherwise its a Classic starbucks, if you like the chain. I had my phone stolen whilst sat in this store. Was with a friend, sat against the window, eating food and my phone on the table between us. 2 beggar women came in (apparently they come in every day" according to the hugely unhelpful staff) pointing at our food and pushing a hand written sign in our faces, then swiped my phone off the table and disappeared. So if you choose to go here, keep all your valuables locked away and don't expect the staff to be kind or helpful.

Coffee was not as good as in other Starbucks. There were a lot of people inside. However, we can not use the available tables. Although closes 20.30, at 19.00, staff closes upstairs and the basement. One employee told us to leave our table not very friendly. He made us feel very uncomfortable. We will go to another more friendly cafeteria next time. You will lose customers doing that.

Just what we needed, a hot sandwich and coffee before we went to the theatre next door. Ordered and served in no time and found a seat upstairs with ease.

Only a single bathroom and it’s cleanliness was far from acceptable.

I went yesterday to the venue in new Oxford Street haven't been in a while and I was quite surprised to see they change and refurbished everything it super nice more space the perfect place to read a book

Closed bathroom. Staff is impatient about giving me a glass of tap water. This is not the service I am used to in Starbucks. Prime location is not an excuse for mistreating your customer.

The drinks are good, but they always forget something when I online order (the food this time)… Also not the most appealing setting I have to admit (see picture).

I have lots of dietry requirements, however I discovered that they do Non-Diary Hot Chocolate with Coconut milk (they have other choices too) and it's wonderful.

Website says it opens at 0700. Arrived at 0705 to find 0715 written in felt marker on the door... And baristas looking out from behind the counter. We also voted with our feet. Lots of options nearby.

Regular franchise in a popular location. 5 or 6 staff behind counter but slow service. Water jugs upstairs would be a good idea. Toilets locked upstairs and downstairs needs a key but still in poor state!

Super busy on a Saturday, very hard to find somewhere to sit if you're there for a coffee and a chat but besides that, just a normal Starbucks really.

Great space upstairs to hang out with friends . Problem is that the toilet in second floor is always closed which is not great for the amount of people it handles. Both toilets upstairs and downstairs should be always open since this place is always super busy. Rest of all ok ✅

Clean, and nice location and venue. Good and drinks ok. However, they had run out of plates, so I had my panini in a brown bag which is rather hard to eat from as it's really hot. Also not provided with cutlery even though I stated "eating in". Not impressed by this lack of planning/organisation at this branch.

Starbucks as usual is always a great place, so I am not going to comment on the options or nature of coffee. First of all this place is in a Prime Location that is always crowded with a lot of people, traffic and noise. The place provides a good service, but I believe it still needs more staff so that it can maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
