Starbucks in Angus

Extremely appalling service. As an executive traveling over 70k miles a year across the UK, I use Starbucks for my coffee breaks very regularly. Furthermore, I am a long term SBUX share holder…. Very sad to see the atrocious quality of service at this branch, easily and exceptionally the worst service in a Starbucks I have encountered in the UK or overseas. Don’t have time to go into details but I strongly suggest Franchisee look at the calibre of staff on the morning of Saturday 24th August (especially the elderly woman at the drive-through)if they care about the profitability of their business!

Been here several times now and the service is slow and I find the staff not to be friendly at all. Not sure if it’s a consequence of poor management. Unfortunately, it’s the only Starbucks in ForFar. Costa staff are friendly I find.

I have been here on quite few occasions now and have to say won't be back. No-one in queue but had to wait a couple of minutes while the staff finished their conversation and acknowledge I was there. Repeat order thrice as staff not listening . Again had to wait for drinks whilst staff had further conversations ( if you can't work and talk don't talk). Cakes in bag even though sitting in ( all 7 plates were out) Service was slow and awful don't go if you are in a hurry. Otherwise just starbuck stuff though more limited.

We stopped to charge the car, and, given the option of KFC or Starbucks while we waited, we chose Starbucks. We ordered a small americano and a small tea. The coffee was far too large, and thus horribly watered down to tastelessness. The tea was £3, so I thought it would come in a pot, and hopefully of good quality. Maybe even loose tea. Silly me. A teabag in a cup, brewed at the wrong temperature. It was a dull brown colour - none of that hint of pink that comes with quality - and sharp, with none of the natural sweetness of proper tea. Both were served in disposable cups, despite the fact we were sitting in. Absolutely awful.

5 young members of staff on but only 2 actually doing anything. Not a single smile between them until their mates came in (obviously another staff member) who helped themselves to drinks for them and themselves. Another came I shortly after who managed to jump the queue over paying customers. Worst experience I've ever had in a Starbucks. Thankfully you can't mess up a coffee!

Amazing experience I went today for lunch at 1.20 and I would like to give a positive review for Jennifer as she helped me today to use my app and was so lovely to me and my friend.

Three staff just causally chatting to each other and delivery drivers. confusion over orders being mixed up so no wonder we had to wait think there was 4 customer's in store not busy at all very poor service they need training

The staff can be a bit nicer at times

Staff standing around while their was tables needing clearing. Floor was filthy and there was only 1 other table occupied. Prices were way to high compared to other Starbucks.

Have visited this place a couple of times. No impressed with the staff. You are left standing a waiting service. While they look at you from their side of the counter. Not at all friendly, actually quite disappointed by the service.

Not the greatest for atmosphere or service.

First time visit today, very nice facilities but all down hill after that. Very slow service with drive through customers being treated as priority, (why ?) the bacon roll was terrible in quality, quantity and over priced all served by emotionless staff. Next time I am in area will visit Greggs across the road, cheaper and has to be better. Will not be back.

Only stopped by briefly for a frappuccino. It was clean, service was prompt and friendly.

Abysmal service. Joined drive through queue to be advised of 10 min wait and asked if we wished to order. We opted not to but we're then held in the queue as the car in front was waiting, which could have easily been resolved by asking the customer to park in the car park. No apology offered and no sense of customer service.

Didn't eat. Coffee was decent though

Had a very bad experience today. They mixed up my order, when I was trying to speak to them, no one cared. Eventually they re-made the coffee, but instead of a nice later I’ve got bitter cappuccino.

Had a hot chocolate with cream and it was really enjoyable.

This franchise really does go from bad to worse & that will be our last attempt here. On this visit we entered, no customers in front but 3 employees making drive thru orders, no issues there. 5 minutes pass, zero acknowledgment from any staff as they continue to make & take new orders from drive thru, 10 minutes later we leave. This is a service driven industry & they have now reached all time poor levels, it’s a shame because there are some food staff there, clearly lacking direction & good management.

I absolutely love Starbucks, but I was disappointed with this franchise as every table was dirty, and almost every table was littered with dirty dishes and the staff weren't the usual cheerie selves that is the normal for all Starbucks.

Good coffee took awhile to get our food but was good plenty of room but not the most comfortable of seats

Service was poor only 4 customers in including us yet there were 8 tables lying uncleared of rubbish we sat in to have our drinks by the time we left tables still uncleared while staff stood behind the counter chatting no need and no excuse

Terrible slow service - like the women behind the counter simply didn’t care or view you as someone they wanted to serve.

Starbucks lady so so kind gave my grandaughter some bonjella for her gums AND ice cold drink so sweet

Worst service I’ve ever seen! Such a shame because any other Starbucks I go to is great! The staff here are shocking! Ignoring customers and just rude! Will never return!

Coffee was nice but the cinnamon swirl was very stale like it was from yesterday! At the price it is I would expect it to be fresh daily!

Starbucks always looks dirty when I go in. Tables full of empty cups plates. Seating is not the best. Service is slow. Getting very dear.

Nice place to be good atmosphere

Disengaged team of staff delivering terrible customer service. I witnessed staff ignoring and tutting and rolling their eyes at customers. One member of staff stood shouting across the store to an elderly disabled customer that her order was ready, then looked at her colleagues in disgust as if to say "is it me"?, as the woman hadn't realised she was talking at her, when the polite/correct thing to do would have been to take it to her. The store cleanliness was poor, no napkins at all, dirty tables, rubbish left lying. Store was not busy, but staff looked like they were hungover and couldn't be bothered. Shift supervisor snapped at a colleague at one point. I used to be a frequent customer but sadly, the place has gone downhill.

Awful experience. I placed my order and waited to be greeted by a sour faced individual. This person served me a cappuccino instead of a frappiccino and when questioned about said order decided to tell that's not what I said. (Seen as I went in for a cold drink I think I know what was said). Secondly whilst waiting on the other drinks there where approximately 5 different customers waiting and all we got was a mumble of some sort of description of the drinks. I was stressed as I nearly had someone else's drink 3 times. How hard can it be 🤬

First time visiting. The service was a little slow, but I was not waiting long. The drink was absolutely lovely, the new brown sugar oat shaken espresso, price was as expected but money off with a blue light card. The building was beautiful, clean, and modern, and never had food. Will definitely go back.

As you would expect from Starbucks

Ordered 2 drinks, mediums for both, total came to £10.20!!! Would’ve been cheaper going for a couple of pints. I’ve visited this place a number of times for the odd drink but this will be the last. I don’t know who sets the pricing but £10.20 for two drinks, one of which is essentially pre made with ice and the other coffee requires little human skill to prepare as the machine is fairly automated, is absolutely ridiculous. At least in Costa you see an actual coffee being properly prepared, their prices are significantly cheaper and the coffee is better too. At least half my visits have ended without actually purchasing anything as their card machine was down. No fault of the staff but something the franchisee should have had sorted out by now, possibly too busy sunning themselves on a far away beach off of the profits of their captive audience. Save yourself some money and go across the road to the McDonalds for your coffee, it’s significantly cheaper and tastes pretty good too. But then again, any Port in a storm I suppose…

Been to the Starbucks in forfar a few times now and thought it was maybe an off day for the staff, but again today the staff were just as unfriendly and unwelcoming as previous encounters. Either they employ the most miserable staff or it is a horrid workplace. Think I’ll give it a miss from now !

The service was pretty fast and was way better than the super-slow Kirkcaldy Starbucks. This Starbucks is near the Angus House and it's good to have something strong from Starbucks before attending a meeting at the Angus House. The customer service was fine. I ordered a cookies and cream Frappe and a Butter Croissant and both were up to the mark. The tables were also clean and there were lots of spaces when I visited.

Went to Starbucks because I had my dog with me. Unfortunately, unlike other Starbucks, this one isn't dog friendly.... Staff was actually quite rude about it, so I left.

Definitely NOT dog friendly to the point of hostility from the staff for asking.

Service was very slow for the walk in and the drive through. Should be a lot quicker for people on the go - not even busy.

Hardly a clean table in sight (or chair). 2 staff on, one on her mobile phone instead of clearing tables. Asked to sit in but received all 3 drinks in takeaway cups. Advertising drinks which were not available. Very disappointed. Won't be back.

Clean spacious starbucks with ample parking.

Asked for white hot chocolate and received hot frothy milk. Consistent mess ups from this shop nearly every time I visit. Not using the type of milk I ask (and pay for), putting syrup in a blonde latte. It's got to be some sort of wind up how often they do this.

Lovely staff, busy but good vibe

Visiting Scotland from England for the week, popped in to hydrate and I was met with a lovely & patient team of staff, and I now visit daily.

Terrible terrible terrible. Turned up today to try a festive drink but couldn't see it on the menu so ordered a caramel and Hazel latte. Was quickly told oh sorry its not on the menu yet it was as I was reading it. I then decided to ask oh what about Christmas drinks and she said you have to use the app. So I parked up downloaded the app and went to select the store..... store not showing so go back to the window to be told oh no you can't order on the App to this store...... seriously? Terrible experience. Went to Costa instead and actually got what I ordered!

No Oatmilk or alot of Vegan options

Really disappointed to try and pop in here for coffee on our road trip to discover that this is the only Starbucks we've ever come across which is not dog friendly. So a nice visit turned into one of us being essentially kicked out, so my partner waiting outside with our well behaved dog while I watched the server run out of cream then not be bothered to make more, serving us one full frappucuno and one deflated looking attempt; couldn't be bothered arguing since partner and dog waiting outside so just left, but probably wouldn't bother going back. Apparently it's "often the case that people walk in with their dogs cause they're allowed in other Starbucks" so... maybe a sign or perhaps a review of policy??

Good: parking, WiFi, access, coffee. They have a drive through.

Stopped here on way home after long drive,,,,coffee and a bacon roll,,,,both superb,,,,,the 2 girls behind the counter were very polite even tho they were cleaning down,,,I'll stop here again definitely

The classic remarks today” this is a franchise, I am only the supervisor, if you want to complain take it up with the Owners “ to be fare the girl who over charged us and made a mistake came over and apologists . Normally the staff are polite and helpful

It's been a few weeks since i popped by this starbucks for a coffee, I am very pleased to say that the staff were very pleasant and smiling - which is nice !! the cafe was clean and tidy the coffee working area was also very clean, cakes well presented and kept clear of flies which can be a problem in hot weather !! the staff were very diligent and there was a very nice friendly ambience in the place - it is back in my top 3 starbucks in Scotland now !! Great !!!

Pity about this Starbucks on the last few visits it is never clean tables strewn with dirty cups and staff behind counter chatting and half the restaurant closed off, haven't had ice for a couple of weeks now today you can only pay with cash this place needs sorting out

Have been disappointed on numerous occasions as Ice machine broken. Months now. Not good enough away to loose loyal customers surely staff member can be tasked to pop out for ice Huge loss of revenue from your main drinks !

Consistently good. Great quality food, piping hot except for the cakes which are soooo cool!!! Coffee speaks for itself, but if you haven't tried a nutblend coffee, your taste buds are missing out!!

This Starbucks has gone down hill badly , store today filthy , seats , tables. Uninterested staff , masks off , on mobile phones at time when loads of tables with dishes on them . Won’t ever be back , had complained once to a lady but nothing done .

Arrived at 1730 on a Friday evening as Google states the store is open until 2000 and I was shoo'd away from the door. Turns out this store picks and chooses when they are fully open or if its just drive thru only. No sign on the door or any clarification. No interest in customer service whatsoever. I know this sounds petty but when you drive a lorry which is around 50ft long and 14ft high, the drive thru isn't really an option.

Was good up until recently. Over the last few weeks omega, some staff do not seem bothered about the job at all. People leaving because they're not getting served. Tables not cleared. Had to wait over 10min for a coffee after I had paid whilst other people were getting their drinks made who ordered after me. Whoever is managing this place needs to get it sorted out before it loses its custom and reputation.

I love Starbucks normally but I told them a couple of times that I had my own cup with me and they still put it in a paper cup. Plus the guy on the intercom couldn't hear us initially and we had to wait for ages for an order. Seemed like a young crowd running it.

One of my worst coffee... I asked an americano with a lots of milk, and i got this coffee... Maybe the barista misunderstood me and gave a latte... But i think it's doesn't looks like a latte either.
