Starbucks in Wakefield

Coffee was served in a takeaway when I specifically asked for a mug and coffee didn’t taste like it was worth the high price…. Costa in future.

Came to the Drive Thru this morning, ordered a Caramel Latte and bought a new reusable mug. Was massively over charged. Mug was advertised as £1.50 realised after I had left mug was £2.75. They poured my drink in the reusable cup and not even removed the care instructions out of the mug !! This was on 27.02.25 Am staff

After visiting this place after 2 years it was very quiet, was nice but why did the lady used the word Love 5 times in serving me , anit inappropriate I thought

I haven't been inside but the drive through is efficient, the staff are always friendly, and the coffee good.

Visited late ine evening (approx 7pm) and hardly any choice of food or treats available. Had brought the kids for a treat & was quite dissapointed.

Walked in wasn't greeted with a smile but rather a angry mob 😂 I mistakenly forght the cookie straws was free but anyone would've forght if just robbed the place very un welcoming and argumentative will not be returning to any Starbucks

Just moved into the area; was excited to have a Starbucks so close to me. Don't bother; coffee is overpriced, and the staff don't want to be there and seem to make up rules as they go. We brought our little puppy in twice; the first time was absolutely fine; the second time suddenly there was a no dogs policy despite having no signs stating this anywhere.

Environment … pleasant indoor Sausage bap… sausages (not greasy but not amazing) in awful tough/chewy bread roll. Only ate half of it Flat white.. lacking depth of flavour Service .. bit slow Costa scores better on every point bar the environment. Pastries look ok but we didn’t try

Always the best Starbucks around for well made drinks and a relaxing place to sit and chat.

Absolutely disgraceful place staff are not helpful and soon as you walk in they judge you

We use Snowhill Starbucks on average once a week but find it annoying because they charge more than the Starbucks at junction 1 in Leeds. Snowhill is franchised and junction 1 isn't which means they can charge what they like, usually 12% more for the same coffees. Asked for a pup cup with our coffees at Snowhill and was charged 70 pence for a small cup of whipped cream, normally free at other Starbucks. Staff are good at Snowhill but whoever owns this particular Starbucks needs to look at their pricing policy.

Clean, well presented and friendly staff. On the occasions I've visited, it feels understaffed with sometimes only one person working. That said the staff are always professional and friendly.

Love any coffee shop just so expensive compared to others sort it out

Everyone is always nice, coffee always good, loads of parking and seating.

Sometimes this Starbucks can be low on stock and slow service. On this occasion the service was good and the drinks were quite well presented. Today I had a Gingerbread Latte.

No problem with staff or drinks, however when using the male toilet I was sliding all over the place as the toilet seat is broken, really a simple replacement would cost them £30 get it sorted before someone gets hurt 8 months later and the toilet seat still hasn’t been fixed

Ordered delivery via Uber Eats hence only 1 star for Atmosphere as didn’t apply. I have ordered from this particular Starbucks a few times & service always great. Other people have commented that staff are miserable but, although I haven’t met them, I can’t believe this, rather they are hard worked & probably short staffed. I always get personal messages, such as enjoy your food, written on the bags addressed to my name with a smiley face etc. I have ordered from other Starbucks & never had this. Also if something is missing they write me a lovely note apologising. Unfortunately isn’t an option to tip the servers on Uber Eats just the driver ( come on Uber you must rectify this!!) otherwise I would definitely tip them. Having had jobs working with the public myself & a career in the Health Service, I can sympathise with anyone in a similar situation as it can be extremely trying on occasions, especially when work gets beyond a normal tolerance of busy lol. Please, remember before leaving a really negative review, that, as most of you know from your own own job, these days Employers hire less staff & expect folks to multitask to the extreme, often with little support or training. Anyhoo well done to the staff at Snowhill & thanks for being so nice!! 👍🏻😊

Everybody loves a good starbucks. Been to plenty in my time but Snowhill starbucks always has real friendly baristas, and always chatty

Miserable staff. Never seen a barista smile in there, u go to geldard Rd Starbucks n they're absolutely delightful but here they look like they're forced to work there. Everytime u go in there u feel so unwelcome in there. Learn to treat everyone equally. And maybe learn something from other stores too.

Visited snowhill Starbucks today going through drive thru and the service we received by amber was outstanding very friendly and helpful and went out of her way to make sure our lil pup got his pupicino as we forgot to ask whilst ordering our food

Coffee and service is good. Stock of coffee beans to buy is very poor.

Really slow service. No crockery washed, so had food in paper bags. We were the only ones in. Americano was a bit like dishwater. Thought I preferred Starbucks to Costa, but not after this visit.

Please don't use the Drive through!!!! They've got my coffee wrong so many times that I've started walking in. They are so inconsistent with the quality control. If this was an independent coffee shop instead of a Starbucks franchise it would have shut down a long time ago. Don't expect service with a smile even if you are buying a £5 cup of coffee.

Service can be slow at times, wasn't made feel very welcome when I attended and had my dog with me, unlike the venue at trinity walk who are always happy and excited to see my dog , this one wasn't overly thrilled, even though I sat outside. Service was very very slow too, my friend met us at 1pm, went inside to order her drink and by 1:20 still didn't have it.

Nice place to stop and get a drink for a long journey. There is a drive thru for those who want a quick stop. Would recommend getting a drink form here of course the prices are a little high.

Really like this Starbucks, the staff are always friendly, service is quick and they always make my drink just how I like it.

Busy at time of visit, nice staff but very slow service

Always get lovely coffee here, but their card machine was broken today so I can’t give 5* - they sent me round to a nearby cashpoint which was empty! Eventually managed to pay using the Starbucks app which I downloaded and added credit to.

This is a good place .but tonight few kids raids in side to rub bottle of water . This is why I feel not safe. I noticed my child to look after her phone and her tablet when This guy's robb This shop. Everyone panicked after see this kid's.

Nice building and surroundings for a Starbucks, drinks were what you'd expect. Not a smile could be put together between staff though, nobody seemed like they wanted to be there.

It was dirty if you look at the photograph there was hair on the floor quite disappointing

Absoloutly rediculous attitude of the staff , took my order then both dissappeared for almost 10 minutes, no appology , no care for their customers, looks like additional to the unreasonable prices , basking in the starbucks glory, what a dump, rather go to the costa over the road. (Got served by a young man called Joe (red hair, glasses).

Why they can't have a separate wand for Oat milk so those of us who can't risk cross contamination in their drinks i don't know. Had to have a really overpriced cup of tea (not even in a pot i hasten to add) instead!

I generally like Starbucks but this one at Snow Hill, Wakefield is the dirtiest and most unfriendly coffee shop imaginable. The staff clearly don’t like their work and won’t even look at customers when serving. They had run out of crockery so served everything in take away cups and not for any reason other than they couldn’t be bothered washing up. They even put dirty fingers inside the cups to pull them apart 😖 There were dirty cups everywhere and it wasn’t busy either. We won’t be visiting again. Really poor!!

Really dirty looking, none of the tables cleared, fruit flies all over the cakes. Manager looking very bored, kept looking at his phone rather than helping the only other member of staff

It was okay, lots of tables needed clearing and cleaning but that's standard in a lot of coffee shops.

A convenient location if you're passing through. Quick service going through the drive through. Menu and price as designated by Starbucks, but friendly and a clean environment if you want to park up and have a coffee inside. Seating is comfortable and fit for purpose. Some seating might be a little close to the floor for an older patron.

Good layout, clean and tidy, good selection of food and drinks, friendly helpful staff. Choice of seating types, WiFi.

What can I say the behaviour of the staff member who claimed to be the manager was disgusting throwing things about talking about us just because we asked for cream on top of a drink that should have had cream on I have never been made to feel so scared by their attitude and behaviour

Just ordered 2 coffee's in store, both staff members were lovely, very polite and cheerful, nice to be served by people who enjoy their job

Usually better than this. Half the staff seemed to be outside having a good time leaving two servers (who did well considering). Quiet inside but loads of drive through who seems to have priority. Better management needed.

What can I say about this Starbucks establishment! Me and my pregenant wife went at 21:24 on Easter Sunday and ordered a frappe each, the only word that could be used to describe them was disgusting. Quick service though :) 5 stars

Clean and friendly, But quite disappointed in the 'save 25p' tag line for reusable cups... it fails to mention that these cups cost £4 in the 1st place.

Shockingly slow service, drive thru ordering not working so sat here 20 minutes waiting, why can't they come out and manually take the orders, absolutely clueless, go to Costa over the road instead

A very bad customer service experience this morning, the menu boards were misted and very foggy and could not see what i wanted, also i could not see the mic where the customer speaks to the Barista! As this is very small and low when driving an SUV. The tea boy was very rude and abrupt asked me why i had not used the microphone, was just annoyed with me and rude and also made rude comments behind my back which i could clearly hear what he was saying. Will not be visiting here ever again. I will be using costa going forward. ATTITUDE PROBLEM WITH STAFF!!!

Always nice to get out for a nice drink

One of the reasons I bought my house across the road was because there was a Starbucks here... But it's just a waste of time. The coffee is not good! The garage next door has a Starbucks machine, and it's much better coffee. I know by the smell of it if I'm going to get a good coffee or not. That beautiful aroma is missing.. there's no mild froth on the top, and it tastes bitter... It's almost like the coffee maker isn't being maintained!! I drink my coffee black by the way and lived in New York for 7 years, then Toronto for 2 more. I know what good coffee should be. I've given up trying to get this Starbucks to improve itself and bought a Nespresso machine instead. I have no reason to go back there now.

When they eventually acknowledged our presence, they had no ice so we left empty handed. Starbucks used to pride itself on customer service, not sure what happened to that.

Friendly service - very quick, the young lad who served us was smiley, happy and very pleasant. Quality of the products on offer is also amazing!

Really disappointed. Relatively new outlet and when I arrived many tables had debris left by other customers. There weren't many customers and quite a few staff, so no excuses. The coffee was only average as well 😥

Nice coffee, but every single free table hadn't had the cups, plates, and serviettes from previous customers cleared away. I expect better than that, and especially when they are supposedly being more diligent under Covid.

The lads serving were polite and there were only 2 of them. Their priority was the drive through so we waited near 20 minutes for our drinks. Costa next time

This is the slowest drive through I have ever been to and I use different starbucks/costa all the time. It's really hard to believe how they can be this slow. I dread to think how slow it will be when the cafe reopens. If there's four cars waiting, allow 20 minutes! And what's all that about where they keep you waiting at the order point instead of getting all cars round off the access road

I would give Zero if there was one. Not one member of staff yesterday 18/3/21 was wearing masks!!! They are obviously not interested in themselves or their customers!!! Which leads me to believe their management is poor and Starbucks don't care.....😡
