Starbucks in Glasgow City

Stuck in the drive through queue which is quite frustrating and a waste of my time as I came for either the frozen or normal strawberry açai lemonade but they had neither in stock and then a subsequent three other flavours I would have had as alternatives none of which they had either.

The young gentleman at reception, who appears to be of Arabic background, demonstrated exceptional professionalism and courteous behavior.

Received completely wrong order. The manager Anna refused to help in any way. She told me the driver stole an order from the counter. This doesn't explain what happened to my own order which could have been delivered. She told me Starbucks have no way to contact Just Eat.

Very rude stuff. Unprofessional team

Regular visitor , felt compelled to write review after terrible experience with a member of staff who does not normally work at this branch. I often take snacks in due to an allergy - there is at best one suitable option for me some nights , at worst there are none. Was told to either put my snack away or leave the premises. Then was told there was no ultimatum given. I was told bringing snacks due to allergy is in “bad taste” . Staff member contradicted themselves on multiple occasions . The policy of only consuming food bought on premises is apparently enforceable , but not displayed anywhere & in over a year of doing so , I have never had it mentioned . Then the line was that small snacks are allowed - even if it’s snacks Starbucks sell on site , ie crisps. Then it was no snacks. The staff member couldn’t deal with logical challenge . Threatened to call the police because I wouldn’t “hide” the snacks. The whole encounter reeked of someone on a power trip , with zero customer service skills. Sarcastic , antagonistic responses were given , interrupted , told lies & generally embarrassed themselves for the sake of a packet of pastrami , and satay sticks - neither of which Starbucks sell. At one point he backtracked & said he hadn’t meant to cause this , If it wasn’t so uncomfortable it would have been laughable. Marcus - do better,

Not hugely impressed. Got a egg mayo sandwich. It was pretty much all mayo, we told the server and she said "we don't make them here". I said I was giving her some feedback and she dismissed it by saying "I'll feed it back", knowing full well she won't. Given the price I'd have thought a small apology and the offer of an alternative. I wasn't looking for refund! Just a wee acknowledgment. Typical Starbucks coffee and the restaurant was modern and nice.

Well I would avoid this Starbucks if you’re disabled! Can’t get parked in the disabled bays due to staff parking in them bays who are NOT DISABLED 😡 disgusting!

Use this for drop-in and drive-through. It's a really nice space, the staff are lovely. Does It's Starbucks' job well.

Got our order wrong multiple times. The thing that was worst of all is even after checking for the second time they gave me Full Fat Normal Milk instead of Oat Milk. I was unable to drink it obviously and was already on the motorway so couldn’t go back for the third time. It may not seem like a big deal, however if I had a severe allergy this could have been bad news, considering the drink was wrong 3 times in a row.

I ordered in store. My service was rushed. Nice atmosphere, however the store is DIRTY. This is unacceptable. It is also expensive.

For a much better coffee, try kennoway coffee. It's about 200 metres away, the coffee is always excellent and support a local business in the process

I started using this Starbucks for meetings with clients and catching up with work. I have since been hit with £85 parking fine because I was parked just over 90 minutes. I would recommend using alternative coffee outlets for work and business.

I have just been served a tall Filter Coffee. I'm not happy as it was cold The server was Sarah eve . Will definitely not be back.

Really rude staff. Might have been an off day for (her/they/them) but if you don’t like your job then maybe look for something that isn’t customer facing. Place wasn’t busy either so it wasn’t that. I’ll avoid this one from now on.

They don’t keep regular posted hours. Three times in the past few months, they just randomly close an hour or two early, with no explanation. The staff here is always friendly and helpful, but corporations really should stick to the business hours they post online.

Unfortunately most times here, tables are always full of empty mugs and dishes. Hard to find a clean table. Due to staff shortages, maybe.

Bang on atmosphere on a moonlit night.ample parking space, I love their flat white with loads of sugar... A cosy corner with books.. Staffs are amicable with brilliant service .

Met my friend for coffee, it's clean, busy, nice staff, good stock levels. It's also local and open until 10pm.

It genuinely doesn’t get more depressing than a drive through chain coffee shop stuck on a patch of spare ground beside the expressway.

I received excellent service from a delightful young lady named Sarah. Despite the busy atmosphere of the place, she remained very calm and friendly. Sarah handled everything flawlessly, ensuring swift and superb service!

Can be be busy but mot of the time you can go through the drive thru in 5mins.

Kerrin saved my life. I ordered 4 drinks to the wrong store which is this store while I’m currently 2 hours away. She helped me get my money back and saved me so much hassle. She’s a star

Afraid I'm not a fan of Starbucks' coffee (are those beans arabica or a mix?). Wait time was a little long in both drive through and in store.

We were absolutely shocked at the mess off the seating area spilt drinks and paper towels and bits off food littered around the place. The tables were filthy. Does Starbucks really know about health and hygiene and disease. What about the spread of covid. Totally disgusting. Once again money before the publics health and wellbeing. Needs reporting to Environmental health. SHOCKING

Until recently I avoided all Starbucks however I went in with a friend and was very pleasantly surprised and I’m now a regular. It’s dog friendly which is a must for me.

Lovely staff with good sitting area and plenty of sockets including usb output.

For the price we pay at Starbucks, you should expect a premium level of service and quality, this place is lacking in both. I was the only customer awaiting an order, the barista was so slow and distracted, just looked like she just couldn't be bothered. Took 10mins to make 2x frappuccinos. Didn't even make eye contact with me when handing me my drinks. And to top it off, I had clearly stated in my order "No whipped cream", it even says it on the label - see my pic, but this was just ignored. I couldn't be bothered waiting another 10mins for a new one, so I just took it. Disappointing service.

Very good location, and there is a drive thru. There is some delay in orders. Overall, it was good.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this cafe, and I must say, their fresh coffee and fluffy muffin left a lasting impression. The aroma of the coffee greeted me as soon as I entered, and the first sip was a delightful burst of flavor that awakened my senses. The coffee had a perfect balance of richness and smoothness, making it a great start to the day.

Not clean. Dirty tables and floors, other customers' rubbish, and flies of various sizes. I was there for more than an hour and at no time did any of the many staff venture out from behind the counter or beyond the food shelves, despite it not being busy. Does not appear to be actively managed, with staff chatting and apparently killing time as much as any of the customers.

Very convenient before shooting off for an early morning excursion. Great staff and the standard studious Starb's atmosphere. Shame about the tax situation though. I'd love to sip an iced matcha with guilt free impunity.

Not great - very inconsistent with drink quality. Ordered one of the salted caramel cold brew. First drink was very watery and had no syrup went back around and apologised but could we have the drink re made. Still was very weak and watery with hardly any taste. Where as a few days before it been made perfectly.

It is great that this new branch is opened in this area. The view and the place is quite and calm to enjoy your hot or chilled drinks. It also has a drive thu service. Always clean and tidy.

Not very busy so plenty of seating available. A lot of the tables needed cleared and cleaned though. Staff were friendly and laid-back. Parking issues were a bit annoying as two delivery drivers were parked in the two disabled bays which made it difficult for my wife to get in and out of our car.

Didn't have any food. Service was poor, and Barista did not get my order right despite being clear with staff member who took my order. We frequently visit this Starbucks, so we are used to being precise with my wifes order of a medium 1/4 of 1 shot extra hot skinny latte. Barista served full shot. When i pointed this out, he did change it, but the cup used looked like a cup already used with stains all around. Requested a takeaway cup. My order is americano with milk on the side takeaway cup. No takeway cup, which was not a big issue for me. The venue is tired, looking, and the table we sat at along with tables around were not clean with coffee stains and foid crumbs. I would say the dog brought in by another hit more attention. Dont know Starbucks policy on general dog's access?

Staff were friendly enough but didn't get the order correct at first no big deal told to park and they will bring it found but found it tasted nothing like our two preferred Starbucks shops and to be honest was a bit tasteless for a Carmel frap with extra drizzle. Thought we would try this shop since it's newish but no thanks was worse than drumchapel and their not very good at making our order either. Will stick to Milton or Dalmarnock. Will

Clean but service getting worse. I'm asked if sitting in and answer yes. I don't expect to get a paper bag with my dinner and a takeaway cup and having to butter my toast on a paper bag. Never felt so uncomfortable sitting with a takeaway cup. If I'd known before I paid, I would have waited till I reached Hillington Starbucks.

I recently visited this coffee shop and would like to share my experience. While the parking was more than adequate, I was disappointed by the overall cleanliness and the taste of the coffee. The coffee itself was fairly average in taste, neither impressing nor offending my taste buds. I've had better cups elsewhere, but it was still drinkable. The baristas were polite, but I would suggest they work on improving the quality of their coffee to attract more customers. The main issue, however, was the cleanliness of the establishment. Upon entering, I noticed that several tables were not cleaned up at all, with used cups and plates scattered around. The floors were dirty, and the general atmosphere felt rather uninviting. This lack of attention to detail gave me the impression that the management doesn't prioritize customer experience. Despite the ample parking space, I would have a hard time recommending this coffee shop to friends and family due to the lack of cleanliness and the mediocre coffee. If the management were to address these issues, the coffee shop could potentially be a more enjoyable spot for local coffee enthusiasts. Until then, I'll be exploring other options for my caffeine fix.

Clean, spacious and very friendly staff.

I was here for to pick up a quick drink for my fiancée. I ordered a chai latte, when I got to the window I was asked if it was hot or cold, I said that I didn’t realise you could get cold but wanted hot for my fiancée. Anyway the kind gentlemen that served me gave me a taste of a cold chai latte for free. I have never had this before in because of this I would return to this shop as this guy, sorry I don’t know his name, is a credit to Starbucks.

I’m a regular customer & today I ordered two drinks and a brownie and only received one drink I was refused a refund won’t be ordering from here again!

Staff insufficient training.Locals using it as office,6 tables taken up with single people working on laptops. Far to expensive 🫰

New store. Car park a little confusing at first as you have to go round whole car park to get to drive through but not a big deal. Shop great usual excellent selection of food and drinks. Staff very very helpful and always cheery. Great store.

The food/cakes/drinks are good and the staff are friendly. However, today we went in looking for a table. It was busy but we were annoyed to see one of the staff taking up a table with her feet up on a seat. It was very unprofessional and not great customer service when there was a shortage of seats. We ended up having to sit outside and had to leave quicker than planned due to the horrendous sewage smell at times which we think was coming from a vent above us probably from the toilet. DO NOT sit outside. This needs to be addressed or they are going to lose customers. Also no diet drinks except water. Some diet coke or something would be nice like every other coffee shop.

It's a Starbucks but the staff are very helpful each of the times I've been, offers both sit in and drive through options both of which have been good.

Opened recently, it looks too busy for the staff to take care of everything all at once...

I was in a rush and really needed a coffee on the go. Starbucks was my only option so I popped in to grab one. Considering they only opened approx. 1 month ago, the store was dirty and staff are very unprofessional. The coffee is over priced and tasted burnt. I would suggest supporting local cafes in Partick - I would avoid this place.

Went in do get some work done but internet was absolutely slow. And there are no plug points available if you need to charge your laptop. Won't be going in there again as I needed the internet more than the coffee.

Waited 15 mins in drive through to be told they don't do the coffee I wanted (that was being advertised at that exact time up on the TV screens at the drive thru) then asked for an alternative similar to my original order and ordered that only to be told I can't have that either as I don't have the app on my phone? I'm in the drive thru....why do I need an app??!! Then was limited to basically a latte....definitely won't be back here, absolute joke!

Overpriced and not great quality. Dirty the one time I walked in. For nearby I recommend Meadow Road, Space, Blah Blah Blah, Absolute Roasters, or any number of local coffee shops instead. Cheaper, friendlier, more options, and seriously great coffee. Support local small business.

Been several times nice coffee. The tables dont get cleaned and the floors are always dirty. That is just so basic but very important. This is being noticed early morning ! Dirty floors, no excuse !

This Starbucks is new and the management is pretty weak. Was also closed on 15 act but was not showing the web that was closed.

Have visited multiple times now and each time there’s been a mistake made with my order…

Fantastic staff, super friendly and fantastic coffee. Definitely recommend this starbucks.
