Wow! Delicious gluten free pancakes and excellent service. Nailed it.

Food was absolutely delicious! I had the build your own gluten free pancakes. There were plenty of toppings options both savoury and sweet and 5 different pancake types to choose from. Staff were friendly. Takeaway options available too. Super tasty!

Amazing love this place so much

If you love pancakes, sweet or savoury, this place is for you. I’ve been 5 times in the past, not once have I left hungry or unsatisfied. This visit was no different. Food- absolutely delicious options, the pancakes themselves are soft and simple (I had the protein mix which has 34g per pancake). The toppings were almost as mouth watering to look at as they were to eat. We took the pulled pork stack and the Nutella pretzel stack. Unfortunately there were no more pretzels left but the waiter let us substitute for biscoff crumbs (didn’t get his name but you’re my hero!) The variety is truly excellent and very accessible for those with funky dietary requirements. Staff are spot on. Vibe was excellent. Pancakes were pancakey. Would recommend.

As a coeliac this is my no.1 stop for breakfast in Glasgow! ⭐️ Amazing gf pancakes and super allergy aware staff. The choices are really extensive and reasonably priced.👏 Service is fantastic, would like to give a wee shoutout to Sophie whose smile is contagious and always makes sure you’re well looked after. UPDATED after few visits. Excellent, warm, friendly, positive service from Daisy and the rest of the staff. Very pleasant, knowledgeable, and polite team. Next to no waiting time. Immediately sat down. The perfect amount of time to decide and then be asked for our order. Shortly after the drinks arrived, then the food. Expansive selection of high quality delicious ingredients to build your own pancake with various base cakes of buttermilk, protein, vegan, buckwheat and more. Unfortunately its popularity seems to have died down a lot since it's hype days. But that does mean a quicker, more effective, personalised, and overall better service. Highly recommend to any party size for any occasion. 5 stars. ORIGINAL FIRST VISIT 4 starts. Missing one due to wait time and service. Lots of staff but very slow service. Food is absolutely worth it though. The pancakes themselves, available buttermilk, low fat gluten free and protein, are delicious as well as all the extras/toppings. Which they have a very wide variety of. Bottomless drinks and retro/fun environment. Quite loud. I would definitely recommend. I had double buttermilk pancakes with bacon white chock sause and maple syrup around £10 total. My partner had the menu pancake... Super food stack with granola, strawberrys, Greek yogurt, berries and much more, £12 for double.

I came here because I saw it highly recommended for gluten free food. I can say the recommendations are correct, the food is incredible, the gluten free pancake is beautiful. The staff here are very helpful and friendly, best service I’ve had in ages and a lovely atmosphere, will definitely be back next time I’m in Glasgow

Great for intolerances and allergies, gluten free available. Really handy app which tells you what you can and can't eat. And food is delicious too!

They're really great for gluten free folks - they have a dedicated gluten free prep area and their GF items have dedicated plates to indicate that it's gluten free. It was so good that I had to double check and they were wonderful in explaining how they distinguish their gluten free vs regular pancakes. I got the pesto egg stack and it was just amazing.

Had a very good breakfast there. I got the gluten free pancakes with maple syrup and bacon. The pancakes were fluffy and the bacon crisp. The waiter asked about any allergies right away and gave me a wonderful recommendation based on this. Will go again the next time I‘m in Glasgow.

Great location near the train station. Plenty of accommodation for bags. Really pricey for what ends up being quite mediocre pancakes. Cost of each topping is absurd, so be aware if you’re into maple syrup.

Ordered the buckwheat shakshuka pancake. The pancakes were very dry and the sweetness of the pancake didn't work with the shakshuka!

Spectacular gluten free pancakes. Very prepared for those who cannot eat gluten, lactose or other allergens. All the pancakes, both sweet and savory, are delicious. Nice and polite staff, very helpful. Go there for both breakfast and lunch!

Been several times always Amazing food, choices are endless. Best pancakes iv ever had.

The coffee was served warm and they spilled some of it in the saucer, which is not a nice way to leave a coffee at a table. The food wasn't anything special really, it has a feel of a fast food where the pancakes are served, again, warm or almost cold and you can see it was a matter of mounting up the order (I had only been to small cafes that specialised in pancakes and they make each on the spot, so I guess I came in with that expectation. This place is very big so I understand this wouldn't work but still, the food was not great). The service for me was the worst: I was coming from training all morning, dressed in a sporty/informal way. I'm not sure they liked that, by the end I was getting my stuff to leave and stopped to read the walls where they explain the different pancake mixtures, the young waitress gave me a scare shoving the receipt on my face, maybe she thought I was a tramp and was going to leave without paying or something. I don't know, it was not nice. I am new here, in London, where I used to live, you either pay before sitting or you go to the till to pay at the end. Most of the restaurant was empty so she wasn't really waiting for my table to be free? I found her way rude. The atmosphere is that of a fast food chain, even the music feels like you should eat and leave soon. I don't recommend this place at all.

My family and I have been here three or four times and it’s usually great. The service is usually good and the staff are kind . The major drawback was the dirty tots originally having bits of chopped bacon on top and then the restaurant switching to fake bacon crunchy bits rather than the real stuff. It was really good before and now it’s so-so. Price for the tots is still the same of course. The other bummer was that I wanted to buy an Itison voucher for our meal and when I asked if it was valid the server told me I had to have bought it before our meal. I asked how she would’ve known if I had besides my asking about it and she said they would check the time stamp. I was annoyed and just paid the full price. After reading the fine print on Itison it does not require this anywhere and there is no booking required to use the voucher. It sounds like they just didn’t want to honour a discount. I’m pretty annoyed as I would’ve saved quite a bit. I would caution anyone who’s going and trying to use this voucher as it doesn’t seem like they’re taking it.

Was there today.. Over priced and the decision to not accept cash is disgraceful. Will not be back and wouldn't recommend!

Separate prep area to avoid cross-contamination. Waitress made suggestions and was able to tweak my dish to remove gluten containing sausage for extra bacon. Kids want to come back tomorrow

Delicious pancakes. Lots of variety and choice when customising them to your taste. Waiter was very helpful and helped me plan my journey back to the airport when I was unsure. Everything is on the pricey-side, however, hence 4 and not 5 stars. Expect to spend close to £15 for a stack of two pancakes.

See update below! - Pretty poor tbh. Very dry pancakes with toppings that did seem to have been cooked much earlier in the day. I'm trying to be positive, but not much to recommend here. Staff were very lovely. Google highlighted that lots of people have read this review that I wrote six years ago, so I wanted to update. Since my original review I've visited Stack and Still on West George Street, mainly because their gluten free and diary free options are excellent. Every visit has been brilliant, good food, great staff. It's so lovely to go to a restaurant with GF options that isn't a huge faff, and has lots of options for me!

We took our 2 young boys for some brunch and they could not have had a better time. I honestly lost count on the number of staff members that said hello to them and made them smile. Probably the best service I've had anywhere in Glasgow. And that's before the great variety of pancakes available!

I had the avocado and sautéed mushroom pancake at Stack and Still on West George Street, and it was absolutely amazing! The combination of creamy avocado and perfectly sautéed mushrooms on top of the pancake was a unique and delicious twist. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting.

The pancakes are really nice (good options on the toppings front too) and the staff were lovely. Pretty good all around. 👌

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal here 100% the best place to come for food we’ve found. The breakfast stack was wonderful but the salmon and avocado stack was out of this world 11/10.

Was looking forward to try this place considering a lot of my friends recommended it but when my partner and I got our food we were immediately skeptical of the quality and the taste. The homemade slaw was almost inedible (BBQ pulled pork pancakes), the apple juice was extremely pricey compared to the quantity and the quality (mostly ice). For a total of £49.06 for two people with drinks, that’s called a rip-off. Just go to the Ivy if you want good pancakes. Would not even recommend to my worst enemy. All the food seems to come from Tesco and could be made at home.

visiting Glasgow for a couple of days found this hidden gem around the corner from the hotel. Quick friendly service. Lots of options on menu whether you go with a bundle or build your own. Pancakes tasted amazing and extremely filling! Will be back.

food was alright, pancakes were good but nothing amazing. for a place whose whole thing is pancakes you would think they’d be better. the loaded tarter tots said to come with smoked bacon but actually came with these little crispy bacon crumbs that doesn’t seem like real bacon. the tater tots were also closer to a hash brown which was misleading to me. overall very underwhelming. manager was nice but floor staff were very monotone and uninterested but not bad. food came out quickly which was the only plus.

Came in on Monday afternoon for a lunch date. Fantastic hospitality from both Kathryn and her colleague. Had pulled pork pulled pork short stack shared between us, plus desert pancakes. Incredibly thoughtful, characterful, and caring service, plus tasty food, coffee and shakes. Well done! Will be back soon!

Entré con una sonrisa en la cara y salí sintiendo como si mi perro hubiera muerto, sentí como si hubiera pagado 40 libras para arruinarme el día. Definitivamente NO volveremos. Una palabra para describir este lugar sería horrible. No es de extrañar que Silverburn no los quiera. AVOID

The service attitude and jokes of the waiters are amazing, and it also puts people in a good mood! Scottish pancakes are completely different styles than Dutch pancakes.

I went with a family friend who is disabled/wheelchair user and the staff were extremely accommodating for her and gave us a table with ample room. The lady that was serving our table was very understanding (ordering took us a while) and she was happy to provide some banter with us! It's not often we can go out and have a positive dining experience. We will definitely be back.

Second time at the Glasgow restaurant and it was lovely. Came along with my little one and our server couldn't have been any friendlier, full of energy and really pleasant to deal with (I think his name was Steven). He stood and listened to the wee one yap nonsense to him and didn't look irritated, even though it felt like they wouldn't stop talking, so a big thank you to him for making them feel so welcome. Opted for savoury signature pancakes this time the Shakshuka stack and it was amazing, a large portion but great taste packed full of flavour. It was lovely and cosy inside as well, as it was absolutely frozen outside, once we had finished we weren't rushed out the door either, allowed to take our time. Definitely be back ☺️

It's a pretty nice restaurant. There are many options available. I bought myself eggs with pesto sauce. My son also created his own pancake from the children's menu. It is a very logical option for families with children. We liked it so much that we wanted our second pancake. There are options for pancake dough. We have already added it to our list as we would like to come again.

From my son when we visited today, “It was the fastest service I have ever seen”. Food was as great always.

Like always we are very happy and very full after their pancakes. This time we took only 2 stacks, but my wife said that next will be single cause she have bueno pancakes and she was even too full after. Ingredients are always fresh, and tasty, staff is very friendly and helpful, so i recommended this place!

Firstly the restaurant is huge and comfortable!! Secondly the service staff are incredible amazing. They ask if I need any recommendation and they also explain well about their pancakes. I felt that they have a lot of knowledge doing their job. She also check in with me if I need anything else and make sure I have the most enjoyable dining experience! I got myself the sweet pancakes Over all is nice and I can’t finish as it was so filling !!! Unfortunately I’m a traveller to Glasgow if not I will definitely go back for their savory pancakes I’m sure it will be as good as the sweet! Thx guys!

Comida muy promedio, las tortitas no eran geniales y la fanfarria sobre los niños comen gratis es ridículo, ya que es literalmente 1 tortita gratis que todavía tiene que comprar los ingredientes. Nuestra camarera estaba aparentemente "muy estresada hoy", por lo que tuvimos que pedir repetidamente una factura ... también si el cargo por servicio es a mi discreción, déjeme agregarlo no me haga pedir que me lo quite. Como empleador asalariado real esto huele a dinero. No volveremos como £ 28 para 5 tortitas con 2 rodajas de tocino, una olla de jarabe de arce para niños, una mantequilla de arce (probado un poco margarita como) y 2 cafés simplemente no es para nosotros.

Unique combinations of pancakes, overall great experience

Me and my girlfriend came here for brunch, food was great, maybe a little on the pricey side but portion sizes were huge. All the staff were lovely, especially Eve who was amazing, very sweet and extremely helpful.

Been here a few times and it's always a great experience. There are a lot of options for food and drinks, and the staff are always super friendly; the last two times we've been we were served by Craig, and then Eve. Both of them were just lovely! Would highly recommend this place: it's reasonably priced, well situated in the city centre, and the customer service is always on point.

We came yesterday to Stack and Still, first time in the Glasgow one. We arrived with huge boxes from our trip to Splatter Art and the staff were so helpful, they placed the boxes somewhere safe, so we could dine happily without them and let staff know they were there. The staff were very patient - with 3 kids taking time to choose - they were happy to wait. Service was brilliant. Food was excellent as always.

Never thought I’d write a review about some pancakes, but here we are. We found Stack & Still by happenstance just merely walking around looking for a brunch spot. They had us at pancakes, but they definitely took the time to level up this basic breakfast item. The options were endless. There’s literally a pancake for every and anyone. I decided to go with the savory option and test out the hot honey chicken stack. It had just the right amount of kick and balanced out well with the pickled gherkins and coleslaw. I also got a side of tater tot’s because I’m American and why not. The Cajun spice is a must on the tater tots. Added the ginger & turmeric kombucha as my beverage, because this wasn’t your traditional breakfast experience, and it was delightful. I also sampled the strawberry & pistachio stack, which was uh-mazzzing!! The salmon & avocado stack was another banger. There’s so many options, toppings, and sauces, that will satisfy the ordinary and bland taste buds/picky eaters. Bummed that I tried this on my last day in Edinburgh.Thanks for a lovely brunch though. Will definitely be back.

Nos alojamos en Glasgow durante el fin de semana. Sinceramente puedo decir que este restaurante dio el mejor servicio del fin de semana. Delicious pancakes, great atmosphere, lovely staff. The only downside is having to make an effort to flag down staff the majority of the time when you need something, but I'm comparing the service to North American standards where servers are constantly scanning the venue. The staff are very nice and do know the menu very well, including allergy information.

LAWD!! They do serve the BEST pancakes! Really soft and melt in your mouth, topped with basically anything you can think of - both sweet and savoury. The staff are fantastic and the restaurant itself is clean and very comfortable. Highly recommend booking prior to your visit - they tend to be very busy at ALL times of the day, any day of the week).

I really enjoyed this place! You can choose your pancakes to be either savory or sweet, whatever you like (I usually go for savory). They have set options for both on the menu, or you can build your own creation (which is what I did). The prices are affordable, and the atmosphere is great. There are plenty of tables, and despite the number of people, it still feels cozy and relaxing. Maybe it’s because you’re so busy enjoying the delicious food that you don’t even notice your surroundings while eating those amazing pancakes!

Mi pareja y yo vinimos aquí para el almuerzo y no nos decepcionó, el servicio fue fantástico y rápido. Tengo panqueques dulces y mi compañero tiene salado. Pedí la pila de Oreo y plátano que estaba delicioso. Era muy dulce, así que lo recomendaría encarecidamente si tienes un diente dulce! Cada miembro del personal con el que tuvimos un encuentro fue extremadamente amable y acogedor, especialmente la señora que tomó mi pago al final. Increíble servicio al cliente!

It's been a while since we tried stack & still and to be fair, it would probably be getting a better review if we had tried the sweet options, rather than opting to try the savoury pancakes. It's definitely a matter of taste, but we didn't enjoy it. Just found it a bit jarring, but again, it's likely cos we're both used to sweet pancakes. The staff were nice and the business was nicely decorated. I've rated 3 cos we haven't been back and aren't likely to again. However, if you like pancakes, the menu is extensive, with plenty of choices.

Amazing selection to choose from for savoury and sweet pancakes. Had the spicy chicken and it was great. Really friendly and fast service too. Only not a five star as it's a bit too expensive - my meal came to nearly £20.

Excellent find, that we stumbled across whilst looking for breakfast options in Glasgow. Really nice interior, super attentive staff and an extensive menu. Top notch pancakes!
