Was there today.. Over priced and the decision to not accept cash is disgraceful. Will not be back and wouldn't recommend!

Kids review "Food was irresistible best pancake restaurant I've ever been to" Service was quick. Waitress was friendly and highly knowledgeable about allergies and gluten-free options. Separate prep area to avoid cross-contamination. Waitress made suggestions and was able to tweak my dish to remove gluten containing sausage for extra bacon. Kids want to come back tomorrow

Perfect all round, good ambience, yummy food. And kudos for the extra pickles from a fellow pickle lover!

Delicious pancakes. Lots of variety and choice when customising them to your taste. Waiter was very helpful and helped me plan my journey back to the airport when I was unsure. Everything is on the pricey-side, however, hence 4 and not 5 stars. Expect to spend close to £15 for a stack of two pancakes.

See update below! - Pretty poor tbh. Very dry pancakes with toppings that did seem to have been cooked much earlier in the day. I'm trying to be positive, but not much to recommend here. Staff were very lovely. Google highlighted that lots of people have read this review that I wrote six years ago, so I wanted to update. Since my original review I've visited Stack and Still on West George Street, mainly because their gluten free and diary free options are excellent. Every visit has been brilliant, good food, great staff. It's so lovely to go to a restaurant with GF options that isn't a huge faff, and has lots of options for me!

We took our 2 young boys for some brunch and they could not have had a better time. I honestly lost count on the number of staff members that said hello to them and made them smile. Probably the best service I've had anywhere in Glasgow. And that's before the great variety of pancakes available!

1st time here. Took grandkids they loved it and I had death by chocolate. 😋

Great brunch, lots of gluten-free options too! We ordered two gluten free pancakes, which were great. The staff knows all about GF and dietary restrictions/allergies, so they really took care of us. Definitely recommend it!

I had the avocado and sautéed mushroom pancake at Stack and Still on West George Street, and it was absolutely amazing! The combination of creamy avocado and perfectly sautéed mushrooms on top of the pancake was a unique and delicious twist. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting.

The pancakes are really nice (good options on the toppings front too) and the staff were lovely. Pretty good all around. 👌

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal here 100% the best place to come for food we’ve found. The breakfast stack was wonderful but the salmon and avocado stack was out of this world 11/10.

Was looking forward to try this place considering a lot of my friends recommended it but when my partner and I got our food we were immediately skeptical of the quality and the taste. The homemade slaw was almost inedible (BBQ pulled pork pancakes), the apple juice was extremely pricey compared to the quantity and the quality (mostly ice). For a total of £49.06 for two people with drinks, that’s called a rip-off. Just go to the Ivy if you want good pancakes. Would not even recommend to my worst enemy. All the food seems to come from Tesco and could be made at home.

visiting Glasgow for a couple of days found this hidden gem around the corner from the hotel. Quick friendly service. Lots of options on menu whether you go with a bundle or build your own. Pancakes tasted amazing and extremely filling! Will be back.

food was alright, pancakes were good but nothing amazing. for a place whose whole thing is pancakes you would think they’d be better. the loaded tarter tots said to come with smoked bacon but actually came with these little crispy bacon crumbs that doesn’t seem like real bacon. the tater tots were also closer to a hash brown which was misleading to me. overall very underwhelming. manager was nice but floor staff were very monotone and uninterested but not bad. food came out quickly which was the only plus.

Came in on Monday afternoon for a lunch date. Fantastic hospitality from both Kathryn and her colleague. Had pulled pork pulled pork short stack shared between us, plus desert pancakes. Incredibly thoughtful, characterful, and caring service, plus tasty food, coffee and shakes. Well done! Will be back soon!

The service attitude and jokes of the waiters are amazing, and it also puts people in a good mood! Scottish pancakes are completely different styles than Dutch pancakes.

I went with a family friend who is disabled/wheelchair user and the staff were extremely accommodating for her and gave us a table with ample room. The lady that was serving our table was very understanding (ordering took us a while) and she was happy to provide some banter with us! It's not often we can go out and have a positive dining experience. We will definitely be back.

Stopped by as our last pitstop in Glasgow. The staff were incredibly friendly despite it being first thing in the morning. The food was s dream. Honestly can't think of a fault. Good job stack and still team!

Second time at the Glasgow restaurant and it was lovely. Came along with my little one and our server couldn't have been any friendlier, full of energy and really pleasant to deal with (I think his name was Steven). He stood and listened to the wee one yap nonsense to him and didn't look irritated, even though it felt like they wouldn't stop talking, so a big thank you to him for making them feel so welcome. Opted for savoury signature pancakes this time the Shakshuka stack and it was amazing, a large portion but great taste packed full of flavour. It was lovely and cosy inside as well, as it was absolutely frozen outside, once we had finished we weren't rushed out the door either, allowed to take our time. Definitely be back ☺️

It's a pretty nice restaurant. There are many options available. I bought myself eggs with pesto sauce. My son also created his own pancake from the children's menu. It is a very logical option for families with children. We liked it so much that we wanted our second pancake. There are options for pancake dough. We have already added it to our list as we would like to come again.

From my son when we visited today, “It was the fastest service I have ever seen”. Food was as great always.

Like always we are very happy and very full after their pancakes. This time we took only 2 stacks, but my wife said that next will be single cause she have bueno pancakes and she was even too full after. Ingredients are always fresh, and tasty, staff is very friendly and helpful, so i recommended this place!

Toda la familia disfrutó de este desayuno. Teníamos un grupo de 7. Ofrecen algunas tortitas dulces y saladas exclusivas o puede elegir completamente sus propios ingredientes. Nos encantó especialmente el salmón salado y la firma de aguacate y el pollo crujiente. Los dulces característicos estaban un poco del lado dulce. Los que construyeron los suyos también fueron felices. Ofrecen varios tipos diferentes de tortitas, incluyendo suero de mantequilla, trigo sarraceno y sin gluten. Firstly the restaurant is huge and comfortable!! Secondly the service staff are incredible amazing. They ask if I need any recommendation and they also explain well about their pancakes. I felt that they have a lot of knowledge doing their job. She also check in with me if I need anything else and make sure I have the most enjoyable dining experience! I got myself the sweet pancakes Over all is nice and I can’t finish as it was so filling !!! Unfortunately I’m a traveller to Glasgow if not I will definitely go back for their savory pancakes I’m sure it will be as good as the sweet! Thx guys!

Very average food, pancakes weren't great and the fanfare over kids eat free is ridiculous as it's literally 1 free pancake you still have to buy the toppings. Our waitress was apparently "really stressed today" which is why we had to repeatedly ask for a bill...also if service charge is at my discretion let me add it on don't make me ask to take it off. As a real living wage employer this smacks of money grab. Won't be back as £28 for 5 pancakes with 2 slices of bacon, one kids pot of maple syrup, a maple butter (tasted a bit marg like) and 2 coffees just isn't it for us.

Unique combinations of pancakes, overall great experience

Me and my girlfriend came here for brunch, food was great, maybe a little on the pricey side but portion sizes were huge. All the staff were lovely, especially Eve who was amazing, very sweet and extremely helpful.

Been here a few times and it's always a great experience. There are a lot of options for food and drinks, and the staff are always super friendly; the last two times we've been we were served by Craig, and then Eve. Both of them were just lovely! Would highly recommend this place: it's reasonably priced, well situated in the city centre, and the customer service is always on point.

Fui allí a principios de noviembre con una amiga para celebrar su cumpleaños. El personal incluso puso una vela en su panqueque - excelente servicio y absolutamente le alegró el día. Llevo unos años siendo habitual y compro mis mezclas de tortitas desde allí. Absolutamente me encanta! Muy recomendable!

We came yesterday to Stack and Still, first time in the Glasgow one. We arrived with huge boxes from our trip to Splatter Art and the staff were so helpful, they placed the boxes somewhere safe, so we could dine happily without them and let staff know they were there. The staff were very patient - with 3 kids taking time to choose - they were happy to wait. Service was brilliant. Food was excellent as always.

Never thought I’d write a review about some pancakes, but here we are. We found Stack & Still by happenstance just merely walking around looking for a brunch spot. They had us at pancakes, but they definitely took the time to level up this basic breakfast item. The options were endless. There’s literally a pancake for every and anyone. I decided to go with the savory option and test out the hot honey chicken stack. It had just the right amount of kick and balanced out well with the pickled gherkins and coleslaw. I also got a side of tater tot’s because I’m American and why not. The Cajun spice is a must on the tater tots. Added the ginger & turmeric kombucha as my beverage, because this wasn’t your traditional breakfast experience, and it was delightful. I also sampled the strawberry & pistachio stack, which was uh-mazzzing!! The salmon & avocado stack was another banger. There’s so many options, toppings, and sauces, that will satisfy the ordinary and bland taste buds/picky eaters. Bummed that I tried this on my last day in Edinburgh.Thanks for a lovely brunch though. Will definitely be back.

The pancakes are absolutely amazing and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommend bringing your friends or family and enjoying a nice stack of pancakes. Would come back anytime!

Nos alojamos en Glasgow durante el fin de semana. Sinceramente puedo decir que este restaurante dio el mejor servicio del fin de semana. La señora que nos sentó repasó todo, incluso nos dijo dónde estaban los baños. Incluso cuando tratamos de llenar nuestra bebida de autoservicio, la señora llenó nuestras tazas. La comida era deliciosa y muy buena relación calidad-precio. Cada interacción se hizo con una sonrisa y nunca con un esfuerzo. Una gran experiencia y no puedo esperar a volver.

Delicious pancakes, great atmosphere, lovely staff. The only downside is having to make an effort to flag down staff the majority of the time when you need something, but I'm comparing the service to North American standards where servers are constantly scanning the venue. The staff are very nice and do know the menu very well, including allergy information.

LAWD!! They do serve the BEST pancakes! Really soft and melt in your mouth, topped with basically anything you can think of - both sweet and savoury. The staff are fantastic and the restaurant itself is clean and very comfortable. Highly recommend booking prior to your visit - they tend to be very busy at ALL times of the day, any day of the week).

Didn't like the pancake especially whipped coffee ! Service was poor.

I really enjoyed this place! You can choose your pancakes to be either savory or sweet, whatever you like (I usually go for savory). They have set options for both on the menu, or you can build your own creation (which is what I did). The prices are affordable, and the atmosphere is great. There are plenty of tables, and despite the number of people, it still feels cozy and relaxing. Maybe it’s because you’re so busy enjoying the delicious food that you don’t even notice your surroundings while eating those amazing pancakes!

Mi pareja y yo vinimos aquí para el almuerzo y no nos decepcionó, el servicio fue fantástico y rápido. Tengo panqueques dulces y mi compañero tiene salado. Pedí la pila de Oreo y plátano que estaba delicioso. Era muy dulce, así que lo recomendaría encarecidamente si tienes un diente dulce! Cada miembro del personal con el que tuvimos un encuentro fue extremadamente amable y acogedor, especialmente la señora que tomó mi pago al final. Increíble servicio al cliente!

It's been a while since we tried stack & still and to be fair, it would probably be getting a better review if we had tried the sweet options, rather than opting to try the savoury pancakes. It's definitely a matter of taste, but we didn't enjoy it. Just found it a bit jarring, but again, it's likely cos we're both used to sweet pancakes. The staff were nice and the business was nicely decorated. I've rated 3 cos we haven't been back and aren't likely to again. However, if you like pancakes, the menu is extensive, with plenty of choices.

Amazing selection to choose from for savoury and sweet pancakes. Had the spicy chicken and it was great. Really friendly and fast service too. Only not a five star as it's a bit too expensive - my meal came to nearly £20.

Great selection of all things pancake related and lots of customisation options without being confusing. Food arrived quickly and was of good quality. Staff were all genuine and friendly throughout our visit. Can get a bit expensive once you start to add additions to your order but we left feeling full and satisfied and probably could have ordered less and still been happy.

We sat in for breakfast. I had “make-your-own” love that they have that option. Very much enjoyed it. Friend has the big breakfast, and while she enjoyed it, she did notice that the food was only warm and not hot. Staff were lovely and very attentive. Can’t say much about price because my friend paid for it while I was in the bathroom. Sneaky!

Great place to take your family for a wee change! Options I never knew existed for pancakes. Suits gluten free folk and kids and hungry people! Pancakes can be ordered in quantity to suit your hunger levels

West George Street location doesn't accept reservations at certain times, so I was a bit wary about showing up late Sunday morning to ask for a table for 17. However the request was taken as normally as asking for a table for 4. Even when we had 5 extra people show up, it was no issue to accommodate. The staff were great with the big table, patient with taking so many orders and food still all came near enough at the same time. Amazing job from the team who dealt with us. Highly recommended!

The most delicious pancakes hands down, so many possible toppings and the service is just wonderful. Do yourself a favour and go in.

I wanted to give a higher review. The staff was a little too eager to help and felt like they were rushing us out the door (tons of open seating). Everything was an extra charge, like syrup £2.75 in a tiny cup (see photo)!! We found this insane as they are a pancake house?! The decor is nice. Popular with travelers from the bags/luggage stacked by the kitchen. They have a baby changing area at the restaurant level. At the door they have a slow lift to avoid the stairs at the entrance if you have a pram, they assume you know how to use it though. The pancakes were good but not so good that I would come back.

Excellent pancakes with speedy service. The Mediterranean flavors in the pancake shone through. The variety of options in the Make Your Stack is enormous. You can always find a combination for everyone. The hot chocolate was also quite lovely.

Food was okay but the service did my head in. Being asked by a different server every 5 minutes if I'm okay and a service charge automatically added to the bill as a thanks for putting up with this. £21 for pancakes and a cappuccino for one. Wouldn't return.

I would say the place to be when comes to pancakes in Glasgow. Stack and Still is located in the city center, it’s pretty spacious with many tables and friendly staff. Keep in mind there is a 10% tip added in advance in the bill which you can ask to be removed if you not happy with the service. We tried the stacks with salmon and spicy chicken and we were both satisfied. The sweet pancake was also nice - cool thing is you can basically build yours, so infinite combinations. It’s a pricey restaurant but I recommend it!

El personal era muy amable. Buen menú con un montón de opciones. La comida llegó rápidamente. Mi plato estaba muy sabroso. Lo único negativo fue que la clara de huevo estaba un poco mal cocida. En general tenía un buen desayuno y lo recomendaría.

£34 for 3 pancakes, a coffee & a pepsi, overpriced IMO. Charging £2 -£2.50 for some Nutella spread or caramel sauce is ridiculous. The bacon was cold & so hard the fork was unable to even penetrate it. Coffee was nice, staff welcoming and friendly but I wouldn't return as it's not good value for money.

Foood is actually amazing, I love the chicken tenders and the chips are always perfect!! My mum loves the coffee it’s the best she’s ever had! We enjoy coming here a lovely wee treat for ourselves!

Cute place and genuinely lovely service but ooh the food is bad. Fresh coffee tastes like sour cigarettes, everything else tastes like it came out of a packet. Shame because it's such a cute restaurant!

I was there for the first time recently. The food was good and the service friendly (some staff friendlier than others). However, they put an additional service charge on the bill, which I think is inappropriate. The price of the food should be adjusted to cover salaries and not be an hidden extra fee.

Ideal place for pancake, my children loves pancake so they rated this place as awesome you can build your own pancake and choose if it is low fat, buttermilk, gluten free then add toppings , you can choose from long list and sauce as well and if you like it single? Double? Or triple!! If you are out and about glasgow city center don’t miss-it!!

It was absolutely amazing! What a wonderful place really good vibes and the staff were the absolute sweetest :). They filled up my water bottle and were really quick with the food. The food is really delicious and relatively good priced especially for what you get! Had a nice chat with the staff and yeah just great atmosphere :D
