Grillaz in Glasgow City

Staff were lovely, but second time coming and both times I have been the food is greasy, tastes like rubber and genuinely not worth the money when I could go across the road to any of the other places and have a better meal. Waiting times could also be better but I understand it is busy and it is just a shame the food that comes isn't worth the wait.

Food amazing, staff amazing. Traffic attendant man needs some serious manners. Told us to go left lane which is fine but proceeded to be rude when we couldn’t squeeze in due to other car being too close in the right lane. This isn’t the first time this man has been rude. Staff behind counter are really nice though but the man on the road has ruined this experience. Other car then had to move for us to squeeze in because he was being cheeky to us. Don’t see many people that will continue coming here if the man keeps up with this terrible attitude. I hate to be the person that complains but never have I had someone be that rude, if we crashed into something it would have been his fault but still on us. We refused to move any closer to the other car to prevent a crash but this man had no idea what he was doing and how to control the traffic.

Ripping off their staff. A friend who worked there told me they underpay, overwork, and bully employees, no breaks, illegal wages, and constant threats. This isn’t just bad food; it’s a morally bankrupt business.

Food is not tasty at all i found plastic gloves in burger and the drink was missing delivery was too late

took 3 hours before it got delivered and all I ordered was a kebab

turned up to collect my food at 19:50 as stated on the app food hadn't even been started waited outside the door for 15 minutes.they came out with my food I clarified that the burger and and chip were gluten free as we ordered for the gluten free section of there menu was told it wasn't they had to go make a fresh burger.waited another 5 or 10 minutes while the rest of my food was put in the hot plate by the time I sat down to eat my food it was cold

Placed my order at 6pm for a 6.45 collection, arrived there about 6.55 to be told they had only received my order and it wasn't ready. Didn't get my food for another 25 mins. The que of cars to get into the car park was tailed along PRW, I ended up parking in the bingo car park and walking over. Food was nice, but the parking/collection situation isn't the best.

Decided to pay them a visit on foot as I was staying across the carpark at the Travel Lodge and it was just aswel as the car's were queuing around the block, nearly walked away but I thought, if this many car's were queuing then it must be good, and I was very pleased that I did, as the staff were very friendly, polite and helpful and the Steak Loaded Fries are amazing! Absolutely worth a visit!

Contracted food poisoning from steak and chips. I really regret writing this review as I was so excited to come down from Fife to try this out, the portions sizes are very generous and the give a free tube of millions which is very thoughtful. Unfortunately all I had to eat yesterday was the steak and chips from here and by evening I wasn’t really feeling myself but ignored it. This morning I woke up and I’ve been sick 3 times so far and I’m in a lot of pain. Truly so disappointed as the concept of this place is really cool and the food looked really nice… 😭

Visited this evening, it was VERY busy. Burgers were delicious we ordered the classic kong and the coffee burger, both great but coffee burger could have used some crispy onions maybe? Service was with a smile and both staff we spoke to were really friendly. We parked up and waited for about 10-15 mins and when we received them they even gave us gloves and lemon wipes to make eating in the car a little easier. Would suggest some better signage as there is a dessert place which shares a queue and a lot of confused drivers when we visited, making it difficult to get to the window in the first place. Would still definitely visit again!

Good selection on the menu, I would try their pakora! Quite expensive for what it is and the waiting times for food was quite long however it was a Sunday evening I went.

Could not complain about this via today’s order. Placed an order at 20:30. 1hr 45 mins later i get a text telling me my order was cancelled, no reason given, no apology now having cheese n toast for my dinner as it is too late to go any where. Absolute joke of a restaurant

We got the loaded steak fries and the classic burger meal. The food is nice however the sauce is way too spicy if you can’t handle spice I’d ask them to be light on the sauce however the food does taste nice. For 30 it’s a bit steep as well. Would rate 3/5

Absolutely amazing burger and loaded fries nicest I’ve had in a long time.

Well, what's to say when you order at 4:20pm for a 7pm delivery time and then it's an hour late. Not only that my peri peri loaded fries has hardly any chicken on it. At least it was warm and my wife liked it. So disappointed overall.

Collection took over an hour when advised 20mins, missing cans of juice and dips from order so had pakora with no sauce, food was great but the missing items and confusion and delayed collection spoiled experience

AN HONEST REVIEW If you honestly believe this good you need to check your taste buds..... I ordered the loaded chicken - the spicy sauce on it literally is the equivalent of a nandos sauce the chicken is just chicken covered in sauce to hide the lack if seasoning...the fries tasted like they went down to Asda got frozen fries put salt on them and sold them I can literally taste the similarity. I get most places use frozen fries but its obvious the difference between some asda fries and ones bought from a supplier direct. not to mention over fried on top of all that they had a chili in the middle which added so much flavor; if they added some seasoned peppers it could save it but not much im really disappointed... When I eat out I want to at something that I can't make or replicate at home not something I could cook up my self and have it taste the exact same.... minus the wait Go home get some nandos sauce frozen chips from Asda and a chicken breast cook separately and serve all together at the end and tell me it doesn't taste the exact same.... very disappointed lots of room for improvement

Burgers were really great! the kong sauce was delicious! generous portion of loaded fries, but the cheese one was not great. the cheese didn’t melt and became hard. would’ve preferred nacho cheese sauce on top personally! would be back again just for burgers!

Been here before and really enjoyed it!! Came today with two of my friends - we got a salt and chilli chicken loaded fries no sauce no cheese; a donner meat loaded fries and a steak loaded fries. Salt and chilli loaded fries: It came and looked like just chicken (from farm foods and chips) i went up and complained and asked for more seasoning, the lady at the window went to put it on and she added 2 chillis and 2 spring onions which i noticed when i came back to car. I then went back up and she told me that was how it comes (it’s not we’ve had it before) and i said that i would not be paying for that. she then had the manager come over. i explained the situation and he gave us the first portion back to keep and gave us a new portion (with more seasoning 🎉🎉) donner meat: this came and it looked quite dry. the sauce portion was small and definitely not enough for the full box. steak loaded fries: this came and the food was good except the presentation it was very mushy!! alongside this all of our drinks were incredibly flat. We would not return (especially with the price)

I recently visited Grillaz after finishing work with my brother and placed two large orders, each costing over £70, for two different households. Despite the substantial amount spent, I was refused two stamps on two different loyalty cards belong to different people because both orders were placed from the same car. I find this decision very disappointing. Such a small gesture of acknowledging separate large orders would significantly improve customer satisfaction. This experience has negatively impacted my perception of your customer service. Despite this issue, I still appreciate the taste and quality of your food and will definitely return back again. However, I hope you reconsider your policy to better accommodate loyal customers in the future.

The food was amazing. I could not fault anything at all. I got a turkey bacon burger and steak loaded fries, and can I just say the portion size on the fries? Let's just say they are not stingy at all it could have done 2 or more ppl.

worked at five guys (most folk say its the best burgers) visited here to check out what they got and can't stop coming back. burgers are absolutely packed with flavour, a little greasy from all the juices but its exactly what you want and some great deals too especially if you are going for a wee drive with your mates.

Best burger I have ever tried, 2 days in a row and I traveled all the way from Edinburgh to Glasgow and the food is for people that eat halal meat and also for everyone to enjoy! Staff are very nice and polite. Thank you for my hat! 💕

Service could be faster, as the demand is high and sometimes queues can form. But, if you are patient for the food, it's completely worth it and some of the best I've had. I recommend their classic burger.

Easy ordering ,friendly service awesome value for money. Huge portions. Tried the pizza, chicken and donner all tasty and will be back to try the beef burgers look tasty! The only negative point is that my friend got the loaded fries and the bottom of the container was greasy, as had sauce on it so when she placed it in her lap she stained her clothes. We were one of the first customers on the day and the till screen and window pass was dirty, inside the kitchen was quite messy and dirty, not what you really want to see

Visited Grillaz for the first time on a sat evening, I've previously drove past and saw the queues so was prepared to wait but was surprised to be met by only 2 cars in front. The staff were friendly and helpful, I ordered the southern king burger meal and the server (Lima) gave her recommendations for the sauce to compliment the meal which was spot on. My partner got the classic grillaz meal and thoroughly enjoyed it. Would definitely go back.

Came here for an early dinner (4pm) and was no queue. Staff were polite and food was brought to us quickly. Got the King Kong burger and salt and chilli loaded fries. Everything was tasty!! The burger was so tasty, mashtagbrady could definitely do a no chew swallow 🤤

1st time visiting Grillaz on a day trip to Glasgow and it didn't disappoint! Long qué to get served but once served the food came out really quick! The gorilla keeping everyone entertained was hilarious! Plus the food was amazing! Well worth the visit!

Seen this place on tiktok and finally got down from Inverness to try it out. Food was absolutely bangin’ and the customer service was beyond amazing! Great little drive through, wish we were local cause this would be a regular spot, keep up the amazing work!

Good food. Great variety. Love the Salt and Chilli Chicken Loaded Fries. Their Grillas sauce is top notch and unique to them only. Can get busy especially on weekends, bank holidays, school holidays etc. so prepare for a long wait.

Can’t comment on food as we left before even being able to try it. After over 40 mins and still no sign of our order, so we drove back through and asked for a refund as we’d seen about 8 other cars get their orders, all of which ordered after ours. Out of fairness we were provided a full refund, and told to still wait for the food to make up for things, it would only be 5 mins. 15 mins pass again, we’ve now been waiting nearly an hour total so we go to drive back through, place is now even more mobbed so we just leave. So much wasted time, customer communication is very poor and doesn’t help they don’t have a phone number. Also super overpriced for what you are ordering

Oh my goodness, the food was fantastic piping hot and delivered on time. Huge portion so I have enough for dinner tonight. Perhaps the powers that be should have a meeting and see if that a viable proposition. Regardless I will certainly order again.

Went here for iftar with my husband. Grillaz certainly lived up to the hype created on TikTok. The spicy chicken pizza and the salt and pepper chicken loaded fries were a 10/10. I can’t wait to go again to try the smash burgers!!

Food is fantastic but if I was sat in a restaurant awaiting my one dish that would cost in excess of £16 I wouldn't sit for 2 hours quietly. I would have been a return customer that told all her friends about how great the restaurant is but instead I won't return and I'll tell all of my friends to stay away.

Man serving at the front is very good. Polite and patient. Gave us quality madjoul dates to open fast, may he be rewarded in abundance. Excellent all round customer service. Took 10 mins to get food to the car park. Only issue is queing up which takes around 30 mins on a quite day. Portions are amazing. Huge. Couldn't finish the steak loaded fries tub. Overall a decent place to visit for a munch to absolutely fill u up. Good team, good food. Will be back again.

Waited an hour and a half for food where me n partner found it was over rated and not worth the price. It was very bland and not got any flavour. We ordered a german donnar pizza and piri piri lemon and herb loaded fries. The pizza was okay but the mozzarella was the only thing you could taste and the loaded fries looked as if there was lots of flavour but no flavour at all. The service was great to be fair and the guy taking our order was very helpful and even gave us millions for free to apologize for the wait. We spent £30 and just felt it wasnt worth what we paid. Probably wont be back!!

Visited at 8pm on a Monday night, found it quite busy with a 10 minute wait to order. Opted for the Classic Burger meal and German Doner meal. Unfortunately, the wait for the food was around 45 minutes. The German Doner arrived cold and underwhelming, could have got better elsewhere and cheaper. Somehow, the Classic Burger was substituted with a spicy chicken burger, which was too fiery for our taste and ended up in the bin. Overall, the experience left much to be desired. It seems more of a novelty, with prices leaning towards the higher end for what felt like average food. Coupled with the lengthy wait times, it's unlikely we'll return.

I hate having to complain but I placed my first order with you tonight seeing you on tik tok but unfortunately our order was wrong. I stated on the comments and also I was called by a female confirming the order and that I just wanted a plain burger, so sauce, no salad and no cheese, just a burger and a bun and the other burger everything apart from red cabbage and jalapeno. I tried calling the number back but unable to speak to anyone. i tried emailing the restaraunt also but email address on your website is not in use as the email bounced back. i attached photos of food received, i will foreard this onto just eat. im so dissapointed with just eat in general today, i had placed a previous irder with another restraunt and waited an hour only to not receive the order, hence why i placed another from here. shame cos the food looked good but wont be eaten due to not receiving what we asked for. Note to just eat, i have just wasted £60 on food tonight between both orders, absolute disgrace.

I was over charged as many are saying they hype up the have proper (full fat coke) I asked for that and made sure I stated full fat to be given coke zero 🫣 been dying to try this the past 2 weeks working. down here but didn't want to try and waste money if it wasn't that good. Food was amazing , only tries the burger meal and German kebab meal , but omg amazing , bread was stunning fries were awesome as well nice n crispy and hot , only issue was the 2.5 hour plus waiting time , might not go at weekend nxt time

Grillaz take far far far too long to deliver food and in general your service is absolutely pathetic. After spending £60 is expect some sort of priority

BLUF. Smash burger was good but not worth the wait. Make sure you car is insured if there is a queue! Decided to give this drive-thru a go on a Tuesday night and somewhat regretted it when I turned up. Huge queue, almost fights breaking out between cars trying to squeeze in. Almost got my car hit too... HINT. drive into the Quays and then cross over at the lights if there is a queue for a cheeky cheat code to beat some cars but be prepared to squeeze in as others regret not thinking of it first!!!! Took about 30-40mins just to get to the order window even after beating about 6/7 cars. And then about another 10-15mins to get my food. Once ordered you park up at the waiting area, and food is brought out to you. The parking is mayhem with cars reversing, pulling and out, left right and Chelsea but the serving staff find cars quick. The food, ordered a classic smash with all the salad, side of fries and an irn-bru. It's all packed and served in really nice box and bags, adds to the anticipation of a good meal! The burger was good, some interesting flavours with the pickled salad, beef was good and served in a quality bricohe bun that doesn't fall apart but I felt like the salad over powered the beef and smash burgers are about the beef. The irn-bru came in a large cup, don't think it's Barrs, didn't taste like it anyway. If you don't want ice make sure you ask for no ice. The fries were tasty, crispy and a little fluffy. Summary, generous portions with good tasty smash burger. A little pricey for drive-thru. Probably won't be back for the smash burger, but will try the loaded fries next time.

What a brilliant wee place! The portion size is generous, prices are reasonable and the food is warm. The staff are friendly and accommodating with customising your order (within reason) e.g. just a little bit of cheese instead of lots. The only downside is other customers aren't always sensible when parking - a Merc was obscuring the exit by not parking in a bay. I know staff are busy making and delivering great food, but you may want to patrol the car park to ensure a good experience for all from start to end.

Waited nearly an hour for food, kept being told "just a few more minutes" until I got out the car and tried to find a manager. They gave our order to another car and clearly didn't have a clue what was going on. When we finally did get the food, it was ok. Chips were far too much and very bland. Burger had too much toppings and was very, very sloppy. Also the prices they charged were more expensive than what's advertised on their website & boards, I got charged more in line with their just eat prices? Quite a bit of a language barrier which made dealing with the problems a bit harder.
