Service was awful, took ages for the food to get to our table and when the burger arrived it was overcooked and dry and not worth the 45 minute wait. The young man in training had a really bad attitude and looked like he didn't even want to be there, my mother asked for serviettes and he told her to get them by the entrance when he can see that she struggles and has a walking cane. Not coming back.

Went to the Springfield Hotel for a fundraising event. It was an excellent evening of fun for adults and children alike.

Clean, friendly pub. Lovely bar staff. Really well looked after pumps too.

Not a regular but everytime I come to Darlington, I always visit for the great atmosphere and of course the great staff who are very welcoming!!

Me, my sister and mam went for something to eat and drink, sister lives close so we decided to try it out. Staff were all very friendly, it was very busy but didn't have to wait to long to be served, the food was delicious, We decided to stay for the Bingo and even won, everyone was friendly. We've decided to go again next week.

Service was very professional but very friendly at the same time. Definitely be back

Great Atmosphere with Friendly Management and Staff :)

The pub wasn't too bad but the prices were way too expensive for drinks the beer was £3.50 per pint and was was flat as hell I complained numerous times about it but they did nothing to rectify the problem ans there were no other draft beers in the pub unless you wanted to pay more for a bottle of beer which is what I had to do I won't be going back there in a hurry

Nice clean pub, they have a very strict set of rules which takes away from being able to enjoy having a drink in there. Some of the staff (or maybe just regulars who think they own the place) have been rude to me more than once. They wouldn't let me use the 2 cue balls on the table to warm up before my opponent arrived 😆 some woman snatched one off the table and muttered something about a deposit only covering one cue ball (she wasn't even working there just sat at the bar drinking) 🤣 pathetic really but the pub, drinks and food are all fine. Just some strange breeds of people in there 🤔

Always nice pub, but I can't understand why I am paying £2.40 for a lemonade when it's coming out of a bottle of lemonade which costs £0.60 from Asda, two pints of carlsberg and a lemonade costing £9.40 a disgrace, Marston's will be contacted

Local to where I live love this place I don't go very often, but always have a lovely time when I do. Landlady is lovely, as are all the staff, get involved in local support. Always a good atmosphere never any trouble

This place is so filthy me and my family were sat outside yesterday having lunch 3 meters away lay dog poo!!!!!! The kids never finished there food we got up and left pure filth

It’s a nice pub with nice staff. And it’s very clean. But it closes early as it’s more of a 4 till 8 pub.

Was served by a young lass called Macy on Saturday night, what a lovely friendly polite kid she is.

A few drinks on Friday turned into a few too many. Food was average, atmosphere was good but the experience was made loads better by our bubbly server Macy.

Staff not friendly, after 40minutes wait brought us the wrong meals, said they could not change them won't be going back.

This is literally the only pub I feel comfortable coming in by myself. The staff are all friendly and I love that even when it's freezing outside it's always nice and warm in here. Plenty going on (bingo, live music etc) and you always feel welcome. Plus I love the food - especially the fries and mac 'n' cheese! Food's not expensive either 🙂

When we were in there on Friday night it was packed. It's a very popular pub for families. Live music but we've never been out there late. Enjoy. We live 20 mins walk away. On bus route.

Went for Santa Christmas brunch! 100% worth it! You get a visit from the real Santa himself! Games, presents & prizes for the kids! We went from I want to go home to can we come again next year in minutes! Also thank you to all of Santa’s elves for keeping the magic and festivities going, would never go anywhere else 5/5

This sign was in the toilets so I just had to say, the urinals were the perfect height to pee in so thank you. Also the staff and prices at the pub are great too

Just had christmast lunch at The Springfield and it was fantastic. The food was just fabulous all three courses were cooked to perfection. The table was set lovely & had great service. Would definitely recommend.

We met for a friend's birthday we all had drinks, played pool and all ordered the cowboy burger, The burgers were freshly cooked and tasted amazing . The atmosphere was great and the service was inviting and friendly.

Michelle & Russell were very welcoming and helpful. Didnt personally eat, but saw other customers eating and food looked good and checkbacks were made. Michelle was lovely very friendly and made me feel welcome as I visited site alone to work. Would definitely recommend a visit

Meeting up with friends it was great to see large tables to gather around. It was quiz night and it was a good varied quiz and was fun. One of our party did not drink alcohol and had a good choice of non alcoholic drinks. The bar staff where efficient and friendly. The only down point was the ladies toilet it was very smelly and dirty. However would recommend the pub for a good night out.

It's a true community pub. Loads going on. And one of the best burgers I've ever had!
