Spring Tides in Eastleigh

This local cafe in Hedge End serves a great brunch or lunch, although closes fairly early (about 2.30pm) each day. It serves pancakes and eggs throughout the day, but has a breakfast/brunch menu that lasts until midday, when the lunch menu takes over. There is also a specials board, but you can opt just to have a coffee, cup of tea etc with or without cakes or muffins etc. The service is friendly and you are rarely rushed out. It is a place where I often arrange to meet up with friends, the only downside is parking can be an issue, and if you park behind the Post Office or in the Coop car park you need to keep an eye on the time for parking restrictions (instead park in the car park opposite the former Barclays Bank)

Found cafe on google. Welcomed on arrival by friendly staff where they cleaned a table for us to sit at. Menu had lots of lovely options and spoilt for choice. Coffee and the food was both very good and good value for money. Would highly recommend and visit again.

Great place for breakfast or lunch, or coffee and cake…. Great place to call into with your doggy friends as well. Highly recommended.

Lovely dog friendly cafe. Quality food. Not too loud background music. Comfy seats. Relaxing You can order a sausage for your dog too. Dog biscuits always on hand.

We arrived to a very warm welcome. Having recently had surgery on my hand, I was feeling fragile. I have to say, our visit was like a huge cuddle and just what we needed. From the moment Josie met us, she was genuine and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the team. Thank you for an excellent experience.

Recently made a lunch time visit. Had the garlic mushrooms on toast which was incredible. I asked the waitress how the sauce was made, she then brought the chef out to explain in detail. Excellent food and excellent service. Lemon drizzle to follow and a pot of tea which also was spot on! Thank you and highly recommended

I went with my daughter and we ordered hot chocolate and I got some pancakes for my little one. The staff were so nice and friendly! They brought out 2 plates with pancakes on them and said it was paid for. I am very thankful and it was such a lovely thing to do for us and made our day very special.

First visit here for breakfast and would definitely recommend! Lovely atmosphere, the staff couldn't have made us feel more welcome, and doggy friendly too! Food and coffee was amazing, will definitely be back :-)

The Shakshuka on the breakfast menu is absolutely delicious and a nice alternative to your usual breakfast options. The sourdough toast is also the best around - can't find any other bread like it! Lovely friendly staff too :)

The BEST Eggs Benedict I have ever had....it was so good... Anazing food, lovely ambience, lovely friendly staff and although they were very busy we didnt feel rushed Would highly recommend, in fact bought the hubby back to the cafe the next morning for a breakfast I am sure there will be plenty more visits!!

We have visited on a number of occasions and it is always lovely! stopped in for coffee and cake (chocolate amazing) friendly staff with great menu and atmosphere. Exactly the same experience upon visiting Hight Tides in Warsash and its beautiful location for beach walks. Will definitely be back soon

Read previous reviews on Tripadvisor and ended up here for lunch as we didn't know the area. The service was friendly, the restaurant is spacious and comfortable. The food was excellent, so good that we joked about moving to Hedge End just to have it...

We had a lovely brunch at Spring tides this morning. The pancakes and eggs Benedict were amazing. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend. Will be returning soon. Maybe lunch next time. Thank you

Sometimes it's just the simplicity of something that works. A lovely café, run by lovely people, serving lovely food. Fantastic coffee and lots of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free offerings too. Highly recommend a visit if you just want a really nice dining experience in Hedge...

I don't know what I expected but it was a lovely surprise. The menu was different, the portions great and the price good value. Well done. It had its own parking, if a little difficult to find.

Had the big bina , so much on it, couldn't even finish it, top quality food, really friendly staff really recommend, great addition to hedge end!

Had a “large breakfast” and was a small breakfast at best there was hardly any bacon and just one slice of bread looked good but didn’t fill me up at all and with a drink cost me £15 definitely wouldn’t recommend it

Just been for a coffee at Spring Tides, recently been taken over & had a fab refurbishment! Good coffee, staff friendly & attentive. Food coming out to other tables looked really tasty, so will have to go back for another visit soon!
