The queue outside the door gave a good indication of how good this place is. Despite the long queue, staff was fast and absolutely lovely. There are plenty of fresh food options with the large bowl costing £8. There's no dine in option so you have to find a spot to eat it, but we're really glad we came across this place.

Looking for somewhere to eat and just looked up and Sprigg was there. Did not know anything about the concept. 1st time in Glasgow. Brilliant place. Very fresh food. We had soup. Mine was gluten-free butternut squash. So thick and tasty. No bread but not a worry. Husbands was lentil soup and he ordered bread which he said was lovely. Great alround. Staff lovely too. Thank you

Excellent coffee. Probably in the top 2 independent coffee shops in the city centre. But keep in mind it closes very early which is not much use to ppl who like coffee in the afternoon.

Was walking past and thought gosh I forgot about this amazing salad place....Salad is my fav food and last year spent summers outdoors with these delicious salads. I thought wonder if they still do focattia bread. I wondered in and late afternoon and asked. Guy was very pleasant and said yes....intact its end of day so here is 2 bits and charged me for one! This is excellent service as now this place is top of my spring/summer place to go. Friendly staff and fresh delicious food. Oh and I remember also good coffee 💛

If I’m ever ordering lunch in , it’s always from Sprigg. Their salads are elite! This time round they were missing one of the ingredients from our salad bowls but they gave us complimentary brownies to apologise, which were also incredible! Highly recommend Sprigg

Freshly made salad bowls for all the different tastebuds! I absolutely love spriggs, it’s at a very honest price for the amount of food you get + the quality of the ingredients. Their soups are also lovely and the staff are always a delight!

The make your own lunch bowl for £6.50 is fantastic. The ingredients are lovely and fresh and the dressings fabulous. The falafels are so good absolutely the best, nothing like the unfortunate spongy ones supermarkets sell. Next time I am in the city centre I am going to buy just a box of the falafels.

I'm not usually much of a fan of salads but after giving Sprigg a try one day a few weeks back and I am a convert. Its lovely to have such a tasty and healthy option for a takeaway lunch rather than unhealthy sandwiches or pastries. The make your own lunch-bowl option is really good value at 6£6.50 and you get a lot of choices to vary what you have. If there was one think that I would like that is not currently offered, it would be to have an idea of the calories of the options you get, just for people like me who are desperately trying to shift some lockdown lard, so we know what we are eating. Its not a criticism though, it would just be useful. Its definitely worth a visit and i'll be coming back more and more as it makes having healthy lunchtimes MUCH easier.

Been following along on Instagram for a while and looked forward to finally getting in to town to try them out. Wasn't disappointed. We sampled two of the chilli chicken lunch bowls which were a great size and full of tasty bites. We also opted for the lentil soup and the Thai soup of the day...both very tasty. We missed out on the potato salad but the gochujang potatoes tasted great. I kicked myself for forgetting to order some focaccia! Very streamlined and friendly service despite the obvious challenges faced by so many right now. Looking forward to going back soon.

The coffee is consistently excellent and no fuss about ordering. Staff are really helpful too. To top all this I had an amazing orange meringue pie today - sensational! I can't recommend it highly enough...

We moved to southside just over a year ago and Toro has been such a find! The loveliest staff, the best coffee and the cakes, pastries and bread are wonderful. A regular Sunday morning haunt for us, just brilliant!

May I begin by saying I am not an expert but a keen amateur. I have a Rancilio Sylvia classic and Rancilio Rocky Grinder and my own belief is that the type of been you need corresponds to your Grinder and setting. May I also say these coffee beans are all excellent, but I have found different results with each of them. With Papercup I have serious channelling I believe there is much more moisture in the bean andto be honest didn’t get a decent pull on any shots. Tin donkey was a great tasting coffee, but again I had to adjust my grind setting which is at zero on the rocky; despite numerous attempts at both paper cup and tindonkey I failed miserably. however I have 100% success with DearGreen on any of their beans. I don’t think there is much difference in the quality of these beans- I think it comes down to user error or capacity to pull good shots. I have learned to clean out my Grindr courtesy of Gail from Seattle coffee ha ha and I’ve owned this machine for roughly 10 years. DearGreen coffee works for me I hope you find this helpful
