Spice Palace in North Lanarkshire

Food was ok pizza could have been a bit more spicy.

Food arrived but missing item and wrong order. Chapati was missing and we had ordered the munchy box with all chicken pakora. This is not what we received. Pakora was mixed. The quality of the food wasn’t great either. Pakora was hard, as were the chips. Dinner meat was cold. Half the order went in the bin. We have asked for a refund. Really disappointing, as spice palace are usually superb. We have ordered from here lots of times and always been pleased. We will probably move to a new shop now.

Used to love ordering from this place, after tonight never again. Absolutely horrible the food that was delivered to me. Ordered at 7:30 on a Wednesday night, didn’t arrive until 9:10. Food was lukewarm at best, no update as to why my order was late until prompting for an update. Disappointing from somewhere that was an instant go to for years for me

Ordered from Just Eat and ordered a meal deal. Probably the tastiest curries in the Motherwell area. Also plenty of meat. Spiced onions were tasty, poppadoms very fresh, pakora average. Only thing they do badly is a naan. No idea why.

Well starting with the positive , the chilli & coriander nan was nice but the lamb tikka masala was terrible , prob the least amount of meat I’ve ever seen in a curry which to be fair tasted weird anyway so didn’t matter & no green peppers in it which it clearly describes & also came without the salad that it was meant to be, so sorry guys it was the first & last time I’ll order from uze .

Spicy chicken pizza, very average.

Absolutely disgusting, the chicken pakora,chicken chat and chicken tikka was dry,chewy and overcooked the nan bread was a joke it looked and tasted like a pizza base, the donner meat was paper thin, I like it thin but not paper thin. Really disappointed 😥.

You can always count on you to deliver the correct order and is always lovely.

The munchie box was a joke no pitta bread 2 bits of chicken pakora no chicken tikka and one bit chicken chatt and a box full of chips if I wanted just chips I’d have ordered that absolute rip off never be ordering from here again

Always went to spice palace but after trying new places was so disappointed the cheese nan was horrible didn't even look like nan bread was brick hard and hardly any cheese, korma was nice enough but only half a tub

An hour and a half for delivery for a pizza & kebab. Each time I phoned for an update it had apparently “just left” then the guy on the phone said he was confused and it hadn’t. What??

Missed out Juice that we ordered, the man on the phone didn’t care and said he could maybe give it to us the next time we ordered! Shocking, can the driver not come back tonight or refund our juice?

That Chasni pizza I got was absolutely horrible. Sprinkle of cheese, no meat and the sauce tasted like pure pepper.

Excellent service and food was best indian I have tasted in long, long time - was not very warm and had to heat it up in microwave - but no big deal as it was Saturday night and month end when most people get paid . This is my go to for Indian food from now on 🥇🌟🌟

The pizza's have hardly any topping on it. Its more cheese than anything you want on it. Couldn't see the chicken tikka on our pizza.

First time using this take away. Won’t be ordering again. Chicken Tikka Masala was drowned in butter. Not a tikka Masala! Peshwari Nan - not like any Nan bought anywhere else, bizarre, uncooked and oily! Chicken Biryani - tiny pieces of chicken once found! Sauce so oily it ran out the container. Sauce bland. Chicken Pakora ok and Onion Bhaji burnt. Food needs checking for the basics - Taste and Look. Delivered hot and on time which is what the stars are for!! £40 wasted.

I ordered a meatlovers wrap that is kebab meat and chicken tikka I had no chicken tikka so I was overcharged for my food it came in tinfoil and not a container

Pakora and curry very tasty. Only downside - Naan awful - like it was cooked in a pizza over - very strange.

Donna meat was a little thin n skinny. I like it thicker n wider.

I have ordered from Spice Palace a few times now, both to my home and my daughters house, and once again the food was delicious. My meal arrived 10-15 minutes early. I’ll order again in future.

Absolutely shocked at the quality of pizza. I paid for extra toppings and they never added it. I requested for refund just for the toppings and they asked for photographic proof...by that time was too late as we already ate it and now they won't refund for the toppings. Avoid.

Where do I start…. Ok placed an order with this shop £20 worth.. An Egyptian kebab and Sausage Supper… The food arrives early which I thought was a bonus however now this is where my problem is…. Egyptian Kebab i thought tasted ok but then for the price of it I basically got Nan bread kebab meat and sauce a couple bits of pepper and few bits of chicken…. Now onto the absolute rip off I ordered a Sausage supper too when I opened the white paper bag in came in there was re-heated chips and 4 small sausages?? Not even battered looked like they weren’t edible either.. I’ve seen farm food sausages look better! Anyway the shop is now closed now as I’m writing this but all the food is still sitting here which is going back to the shop with this rubbish to demand my money back and Gladly tell you you’ve lost custom through this and you can have your rotten back!!!! ABSOLUTE JOKE RIP OFF SHOP!!!!

Sorry, never leave a review, but forced to as I’ve just received one of the worst orders I’ve had from anywhere in some time. Spicy chicken wrap was more sauce than chicken and was so wet it couldn’t be picked up. Other kebab meats and naans they were served on were incredibly dry and have gone mostly untouched. Definitely felt like a frozen or store bought naan was being used. Only the Egyptian Kebab was deemed edible and mostly because the donner meat was tender enough and I’m starving after a shift. Was still pretty disappointing and bland compared to any other I’ve had before. Won’t be back. Massive letdown when the family has ordered themselves a Friday night treat.

The best Indian Takeaway in Motherwell easily the food is restaurant quality highly recommend

As always food was fantastic! There was a small delay to the delivery of the order but they called immediately to let us know and ensured the food was fresh, hot and delivered as quickly as possible. Exactly why it's our go to place for a takeaway

Ordered the Chicken Tikka Chasni Bhuna Naan Hoagie...it has a wee spicy kick to it but its delicious, the naan was majorly disappointing unfortunately. Like a thick, flavourless pizza base. Ruined an otherwise delicious meal
