Monterey Jack's at M&D's Scotland's Theme Park in North Lanarkshire

Amazing food, and our server Liz was great at looking after us.

Liz was a fantastic host really made you feel welcome!

Having dined a multiple Monterey Jacks branches I already had a good idea what to expect when I took the wife to this new branch. Decor was fantastic, I have never been to a restaurant with such character. We started with a beer for myself and a cocktail for the wife then followed by our food. Our wait for a Saturday I would have to say wasn't too long especially given the staff will surely be new to the branch and it will have been their first experience of weekend traffic. I had the Red Neck burger which was absolutely amazing, i opted for upgrading to sweet potato fries as having had them before i love the way they are coated in syrup, the wife went for a chicken hot pizza which looked fantastic, for once i didn't try steal a slice. Chicken tenders and Halloumi fries with a selection of dips had to be added in too however I was too stuffed to try a dessert, will have to keep room on our next visit.

Food fab, very tasty, arrived well wrapped and lovely and warm.

took 3 hours to come. chips were cold and tasted like reheated oven chips. burger was alright but absolutely not worth the money.

The staff were great, only two on late Friday night mum and daughter, what a great Team and very pleasant, the food was bad ,cold chips and burger was tasteless ,the bacon on it was very hard and inedible, it was very quiet maybe another five people in the bar, the price for burgers was expensive, plate size very small, but again thank you to the great staff, always smiling and running up down stairs feeding a table of twenty.

Liz was absolutely fantastic for my sons party. There was a big group with many different dietary requirements and change of time due to the weather. At every step Liz reassured that all would be taken care of cannot thank her enough. Food was delicious for all (group included gluten free, vegan and veggies).

Had a great time - three adults and two toddlers. Great food, Liz was lovely serving us, and generally had a lovely lunchtime. Thanks!

Honestly the slowest service ever, the staff are quicker at cleaning the tables than they are at serving people, the food here is amazing but the waiting times aren’t worth it (was waiting nearly an hour for food and it wasn’t even that busy) :(

Wanted to say a huge thanks to Liz for today. My son has a peanut allergy and with recent news of the possibility of some mustard containing nuts, Liz made us feel very confident in placing our orders. She had really good, and up to date knowledge of the situation, and went over and above to make sure my son was safe. Thank you so much x Food was outstanding, and with regards to attention paid to allergens, we will not hesitate to come back again.

I think restaurants if going to the effort to offer a gluten free bun. They should specify that their protein (beef) is not gluten free. I thoroighly enjoyed my meal until 2 hours later when I was in serious pain.

John Jarvis was so helpful and polite even tho he was on his own when we arrived early at 11 for lunch. Very nice food atmosphere and staff all friendly. The nachos potion was huge!!!

We have complex allergies in our household and we've never had such accommodating staff when we've been out for a meal. Liz, out server, took control and ensure the allergens were taken care of and really I am short on superlatives on the service and the food was demolished and very tasty. We will, without doubt, come back here next visit.

Great place! I loved the food, the interior and the service.

Visited at the weekend, great atmosphere staff were all lovely. Toni served us and she was so attentive very welcoming and a lovely girl to talk to! We went for the MJ sharing platter and it was brilliant.

Liz the colleague that served me, was very helpful, service was excellent.

Popped in on a whim while visiting the local area. Glad we did, burgers were great and really good milkshakes, the best we've had for a long time, staff really friendly and really nice atmosphere and love the decor. Pity they are over 300 miles away from home, though when we come back to Scotland we'll look to come for food again.

We visited yesterday for a day out. There were three adults and a toddler. I was absolutely delighted with the food (we had the large chicken/corn/Mac and cheese sharing platter) which was plenty for the three of us. Our toddler also enjoyed the fries. What really made our experience was the fantastic service from Liz and Alicia, who went out of their way to make us and our toddler comfortable. It’s the loveliest servers we’ve had in a long time, they had excellent Scottish chat and recommendations for our day. We’ll be back, and recommend anyone else skip the walk up options and visit Liz and Alicia.

Came for lunch before heading into the theme park. Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Staff were very attentive and friendly food was fab! Highly recommend.

First time trying monterey jacks best meal ive had in agies and it was completely faultless from all the staff and chef sean was incredible with the meals prepared needless to say his passion for serving really good food is in the taste id recommend here even for the interior decoration if you have young cowboys at home absolutely epic 5 stars all thankyou :)

The quality of the nachos was appalling - £14 for cheese and crisps

I have been here 4 times and had terrible service 3 out of 4 times. At my most recent visit a member of our party ordered a chicken burger without cheese and when it arrived it was a beef burger. It was then replaced by a chicken burger with cheese which was not what was ordered in the first place.The time before a member of my party just didn't get any of the food he ordered, despite making the waiting staff aware. Overly long wait times for food and expensive for what it it.

Ordered return of the Mac and American burger waited almost 1hr both were dry and cold can tell burgers had been reheated and cheap meat used also burger buns falling apart as must be frozen. My son's bun on his burger fell apart soon as he took a bite. For the price also almost £13-15 for a burger you don't even get fries with it or even a side salad. Definitely wouldnt recommend and won't be back

I was in at the weekend for the 1st time with the family, we had a lovely meal and our waitress Aleeshia was just lovely. We will be back for sure.

We were there for my dad's 80th birthday. The food was great. Tasty and good portions. The staff were outstanding. Brought out cake and sang happy birthday 🎂 very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back 😀

I was down for dinner a few days ago and it was marvellous! The place has really been turned around and now looking and functioning amazingly! I would highly recommend the food as it was 10/10 mouth watering goodness! I had the Chicken & Mac, it was tremendous. Followed by a Vanilla milkshake which was absolutely perfect! The service was great and staff were certainly very helpful and nice! If you get the chance to eat here, don’t miss out. This has got to be one of the coolest restaurants in the UK! 🤠🍔😁

Been quite a few times now, Every time the food and staff have been amazing. The kids love it, there is something for everyone. Liz goes above and beyond and is a great staff member! Venue looks amazing. Food is always superb, service is great and staff are really friendly.

Our service Liz was very pleasant and patient as we were a big party of 9 including 3 kids on the spectrum. I don't get out often with the kids as it can be difficult. But they all absolutely loved the food, restaurant and Liz. Thank you very much

Took my partner here and was amazed by both the quality of the food and the service, our server, Liz, was outstanding, helped us with understanding the menus and we both had a good laugh with her, she can brighten your day easily. She also does make a helluva coffee! Great teamwork throughout by everyone aswell. Highly recommend folk try them out for an amazing dinner and customer service experience

I loved this place last couple of visits was let down with reheats my chips were so hard aswell as my chicken strips macaroni was very watery underneath I've the pictures to prove this but don't know how to upload them not sure I'd be back loved this place when in hamilton it was run better although more space now

I was recommended by Eve Gallacher to come for dinner with my friends when we got there she recommended the southern fried chicken and so I ordered it with the sweet chilli sauce along with some chips and I thoroughly enjoyed it and greatly appreciated her recommendation I would definitely return.

First class service from Toni-Lee. Very welcoming, friendly and attentive. Good knowledge on food and drinks. First time here and definitely will return. Nice atmosphere in the place, didn't feel rushed. Portions were good size and Toni-Lee advised chhose were seperate which was good to know before ordering.

Fantastic theming and great atmosphere! Our server Liz was friendly and welcoming from the minute we walked in the door and helped us with allergy information which was greatly appreciated. Food was lovely and although the restaurant was busy and looked short staffed Liz was attentive and nothing was too much bother, a credit to the company.

Popped in for a cocktail, would have bought more but queried the £1, extra charge on my receipt, told it was compulsory charity charge and would be charged this every drink. I wasn't told this until I paid, was told it was on a board somewhere, who reads these? Only stayed for 1 cocktail, I won't be dictated to which charity I donate to or when I do it.

Came in for dinner after having the kids at the park. Charlotte our waitress was amazing with kids chatting away and making recommendations on what to try. The burgers arrived quickly and all tasted amazing. 4 clean plates and kids with full happy bellies. Definitely worth a visit while at the park.

Fab wee place when we went bowling. Loved my all day breakfast burger and the notorious PIG burger , we had to get the onion rings. 😋 Our server Charlotte was pleasant and attentive with a warm smile while explaining recommendations. Definitely will be back soon!

We often go to m&ds for bowling and like to get something to eat, glad this place opened. We were greeted by Charlotte who was very smiley and chatty. Checked over allergies and we were sat down. We were given afew minutes and ordered drinks and our starter. We had the standard nachos to share and WOW! massive portion enough for 2 or 3 to share. We then each had a burger which we really enjoyed. Sweet potato fries were my fav. Got check backs to see if everything was all good from Charlotte which it was. We were too full to attemp dessert so got the bill and waddled off to bowling. Will deffos be back!! Great food and service

Best burgers we have ever tasted.

Excellent food. Unbelievable portion sizes. We had the hotdogs and could barely finish them. The dessert doh my god is huge, and super tasty. Jekaterina was incredibly attentive and very friendly. Exceeded service.

Food was fantastic and would definitely recommend it to anyone. Service was swift and has the perfect people on the job for the job. The atmosphere is perfect for a family meal. Kudos for making pancakes for my daughter's birthday that wasn't on the evening menu, very happy experience.

Overpriced. £6.95 for 3 small pieces of chicken strips..drinks is not included of kids menu, not the best service, small pizza for £15, shocked..never again. Avoid.

Overpriced food, wasn't allowed crayons in the family booth, pizza fries were disgusting. Must have ran out of pepperoni so used a cut up hot dog instead. Burger was brilliant.

The Junkyard Dawg could be a little better prepared but I still did enjoy it. Also, I love the new menu. Would appreciate more images uploaded for the food but it's all in due time, I hope.

Nachos are amazing - very salty, love the chipotle sauce, and the Mexican cheese sauce is delicious. More than enough of a portion for two people, and the same goes for the Swiss Mountain Dawg. The hot dog itself is like no hot dog I've ever tasted before, and completely exquisite. Also big enough for two people, especially with the nachos on the side! We're absolutely stuffed full, thank you!
