Came there first time and I was quite disappointed. My husband and I ordered the dim sum combo and a dish with chur Siu, roasted duck and roasted pork. All the dim sum pastry was very sticky and thick. One dumpling was called the mushroom dumpling and the filling was not tasted very good. Luckily the chur Siu was comparatively good.

Thoroughly enjoyed the food and service was quick , nice and easy. I didn't get to take pictures of the food as it was so great we ate before thinking about pictures. The only thong was that it was a cold due to them keeping the door open at time. A door heater would solve that.

I'm from Singapore, I know that Chinese food in Europe is supposed to be bad and expensive but I expected better. Food is really expensive, 40 gbp per pax And tastes pretty bad Portion of dishes for set meal is really small Set menu B - even the Peking duck only had 6 pieces of skin One waiter was rude, he cleared my plates twice when it was 97% finished without asking me

We asked to move table since we were squeezed. They told us the table behind us was reserved. When we finished the table behind was still empty. When we complained they told us they made us a favour by serving us tap water since we were so tight not to pay for real drinks. This place should be shut down!

Portions are large. Prices very high! Food wasn't seasoned enough. You only get chopsticks and no fork or knife. We got a table near the entrance, the entrance door is broken and always remains slightly open, so a very cold wind came in. We left very quickly! A 10% “service fee” is added directly to the invoice! In our case £14!!!

When in Europe, you have to lower your expectations for Asian food, or be prepared to spend a lot of money. For London, this was a perfectly acceptable dim sum experience, especially in Soho. The majority of Chinatown caters to tourists and white people, and this isn't a lot different. However, when we visited, everyone inside was Asian, which is a good sign. Even single people having a quick lunch. I'd been dying for dim sum for months since it is unavilable where I currently live. We have tried many of the restaurants in Chintatown and none have been particularly good. So, this was just a spontaneous choice as it didn't seem very full of people and the menu was what we were hoping for. Service was good; very friendly. Food came quickly and without any issues. All the food was mostly good. The fried rice was flavourful, the beef cheung fun were large and filled the exact amount I like, and the char siu so were excellent. The scallop dumplings were pretty bland unfortunately, and the har gow was mediocre according to my wife. I wanted to have the wu gok (it is my favourite) but for some reason here they put shrimp in it, and I really hate prawns. Prices are on the higher end, which was somewhat expected. It was acceptable dim sum for London. I would probably return if I am in Soho and craving some.

It seems that it used to be called Jade Garden Hotel. Have been visiting. But it was very old before, but now it has been renamed and renovated. Very clean and beautiful. Recommend the Thai chicken feet, as delicious as ever. The rest of the snacks are also good. It tasted just right when I ate it on the spot, but it was a bit salty when I took it home and took it home. So it's still a bit salty for the restaurant. recommend!

The only thing that pleased us about this restaurant was that there were free seats at 14.15. We were quickly seated and brought menus and water. The portions are tiny, the chicken soup with mushrooms was about half a glass, half of which was onions and carrots. Although the soup itself was delicious. Beef dumplings made a strange impression; the dough in them was separate from the meat and lay like a ribbon next to it. The portion is again tiny. The service was fast but unfriendly.

My favourite chinese restaurant in London - previously called “jade garden”. Dim sum menu is extensive. Only 8 (fried/steam) dishes are vegan - so it can feel rather tedious. But there are plenty of other plant based dishes if you like spicy food or want to order something with rice or noodles. The service is super fast- the servers are helpful. The bathroom is very narrow and busy to get to and from. It is children friendly. Quietest time without queue is 12-12.40pm and after 3.30pm-5pm for dim sum menu. Menus are displayed in both chinese and English I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. The food is authentic and well cooked. The best dim sum location in China town. Not wheelchair friendly (definitely not - bathroom wise)

I had the pleasure of dining at Orient London in Piccadilly, and the experience was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with warmth and friendliness, making us feel instantly welcome. Their attention to detail and willingness to accommodate any request with a smile left a lasting impression. As for the food, there are simply not enough words to describe the culinary excellence they offer. Every dish we tried was perfectly prepared, featuring fresh ingredients of the highest quality. The flavors were well-balanced, authentic, and utterly delicious. The menu boasts a wide variety of dishes that showcase the best of traditional Chinese cuisine, with a modern twist that makes it even more appealing. It’s clear that Orient London is not just about offering delicious food, but about providing a complete dining experience, with a cozy atmosphere and impeccable service. It’s a place I will undoubtedly return to, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a first-class dining experience in the heart of London.

Orient London is a true culinary gem in the heart of the capital, offering a dining experience that fuses the best of Chinese cuisine with a contemporary twist. From the moment you walk in, the warm and elegant atmosphere envelops you, setting you up for a memorable evening. The menu is a masterpiece that stands out for its authenticity and variety. Each dish is carefully prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Dim sum is a must: delicate, perfectly cooked and impeccably presented. Among the main dishes, the crispy Peking-style duck is simply exquisite, with crispy golden skin and juicy meat that melts in your mouth. Service is another of the Orient London's strong points. The staff is friendly, attentive and always willing to offer recommendations based on the diner's preferences. Plus, their knowledge of the dishes is impressive, which adds a personalized touch to the experience. The restaurant's decoration combines traditional with modern, creating a sophisticated but cozy atmosphere, ideal for both an intimate dinner and a special group occasion. The location is excellent, making it a perfect destination for both locals and visitors looking for an authentic Chinese experience in London. In short, Orient London is more than a Chinese restaurant, it is a culinary destination that takes you on a journey through the authentic flavors of China, while continuing to surprise with contemporary touches. Perfect for those looking for quality, flavor and impeccable service.

I heard that it's delicious at every restaurant, so I ordered the noodles thinking it would be delicious, but the Chinese vermicelli didn't have any seasoning, so I gave it a 3/5. The dim sum is so ridiculously delicious and this much for this price? Are you giving me this? Enough to do it. It's a shame that you can only order dim sum until 4:45, but next time I go for lunch, I'm going to just eat dim sum. Cheongfun is really crazy. I don’t know anything else, but this is the best!

Probably the worst dim sum I’ve had ever (and I’ve had dim sum all my life growing up). Skins of steamed dumplings are way too thick. The turnip cake didn’t have the Chinese sausage/shrimp I’d expect - just very starchy. The fried items were way too oily. There were probably a few dishes which were ok (hence two stars) but I felt sick at how heavy this all felt after eating. No amount of Chinese tea was helping it go down. Definitely more miss dishes than hit. Tried 13 different ones. Service was super fast, which makes me question how fresh everything is. But first and last time I’d go for dim sum here.

I had a really horrible experience here. I came here for a friend's birthday who was running late. When I arrived a man came over to me and I told him why I was here. He proceeded to shout at me telling me he told 'the girl on the phone' that everyone needs to be here at x time or we won't get seated. He then asked me if everyone else was here. To which I said I didn't know. (I came for a birthday dinner and didn't know anyone else going). He then told me to wait outside and closed the glass door and tended to his guests inside. As a potential guest I feel I was treated poorly. Just because everyone else was late, I was on time. So why am I being shouted at? Why am I being left outside in the cold? They couldn't even offer me a seat or anything of the sort. I only came here for my friend. For a restaurant with a 3* hygiene rating, I don't think it was worth all the trouble. After waiting for 20+ minutes. I eventually left. My friend eventually arrived and spoke about mistreatment but I was not there by that point. I will not be returning.

Good value for money. Definitely recommend the squid cakes, vietnamese spring roles, taro croquette and a few more. These dishes might have different names on the receipt though. I was scratching my head for a few of the items, but the number of items seems correct.

When it came to the service, you had the feeling that she would much rather serve Asian guests than Europeans. The food came quickly but it tasted okay. The price-performance ratio is rather poor. After we had eaten and the table was cleared, the bill was brought to the table without asking. I guess that was a sign that we weren't that welcome. I can't recommend this restaurant, you can definitely find better in China Town

I never write reviews but this truly was the most disappointing place we ate at during our week in London. We spend 56£ for fried noodles with bean sprouts, fried vegetables, 4 fried dim sum dumplings and 3 steamed dim sum + 2 diet cokes and a glass of wine) The dim sum were okay. Not show stopping but alright. Definitly the best thing about the meal. The fried noodles however tasted like nothing but soy sauce and were super oily. Same goes for the vegetables. Everything tasted bland, boring and oily and left a bad, oily after taste in our mouth after the meal. The food arrived super fast but I think thats because it was reheated/fried again and not cooked fresh. The noodles were a pretty big portion, which really was the only good thing about them. Overall, the food tasted like a cheap buffet and we expected much more after reading the reviewes and seeing the location. The restaurant itself looked nice enough but the food left us very disappointed. You can definitely get way better for cheaper in chinatown.

We order, we ask for information regarding the menu if everything had arrived and from there, shameful behavior on the part of all the waiters. They quickly take away our dishes, clean up, quickly give us the bill and immediately come to ask for payment. Absurd. Specifically, it was 10pm. The place closed at 11pm. Never again. Among other things, nothing special in terms of quality.

I ate steel wool balls after eating Fengzhao. After returning home, my friend and I suffered from vomiting and diarrhea. I shared the food I packed home with my roommates, who also kept having diarrhea. Food hygiene is not in place.

Not as good as expected. Really tried to like it but seems like the staff was stressing us. Prices a little on the higher side. Dimsum didnt tase homemade. Some dishes were done in 2 mins. Kinda to quick.

The Dim Sum was pretty good but not the best. The prices are higher than the ones advertised outside the door. The soup dumplings and fried turnip was good. But the Cha Su Bao was pretty average.

Loved it - much more friendly than some China town places. Dim sum is very good - maybe not the 5 star thin translucent pastry but for every Sunday with family and friend its really excellent

As it says in the title, this is the place to bear when it comes to authentic and deliciously made bubble tea. The service is always fast and I don’t think I can emphasise just how wonderful the drinks are. You get a lot of drink for what you buy plus there is just something special about the presentation of the drink and the way it is made that stays in your mind long after you finish the bubble tea. I particularly recommend the fruit teas, with some drinks it comes with fresh fruit in the drink that you can eat after! Always refreshing and sweet

¿Alguien vino a preguntarme qué estaba esperando? Supongo que se preguntaba por qué no he empezado a comer todavía. Me pareció extraño. Ella me preguntó si estaba esperando a la principal antes de empezar a comer. ¿No es extraño? Solo esperé unos 2 minutos. Vaya. Muy desagradable experiencia. No está claro por qué se comportaron de esta manera, considerando que el lugar estaba reservado normalmente. Había muchos asientos.
