Lucky Cat by Gordon Ramsay in City of London, Westminster

I really wanted this to be a sensational experience but it did fall short in terms of customer service predominantly and latterly the standard of the food. We were a large group so I would expect perhaps a couple of timing issues. Sauces that lost their appearance etc let it down.

Big Gordon Ramsey restaurant fan. Been many times to many different places. We’ve also been to the lucky car before and had a great meal. Brunch deal. So many courses last time. Unfortunately this time with even our small appetites we left unsatisfied. So few courses this time too. No sushi this time either. We had some beans in pods but the pods were not edible. We then had beef goyza and they were nice. Main course was also beef. It was nice but food was barely warm. I ate it as that was it. We had to go for the dessert which was extra and in total the bill for 2 was nearly £300 with drinks. I think the standard of the brunch menu had dropped. Not sure what a la carte would have cost but the balance between the food and drink has gone. I really would have liked more food. Shame

Had great lunch at the Lucky Cat Gordon Ramsay. From the moment I walked in the staff were very polite friendly and professional I was sat down quickly an I ordered my wine. The wine came very quickly and the food to was very fast I done the express lunch, great if your working in the area the food comes very quick and is hot I had a spring roll, then the beef gyoza. The portion was great size and the food was lovely, As my drink was almost fined the waiter already had another brought over before I asked for another, fantastic service. I then went for the teriyaki salmon with rice which was simply Devine. I would recommend this restaurant and would definatley try again maybe the chefs table next time.

Having just returned from Japan we fancied a healthy lunch in a sleek setting and we weren't disappointed. The Australian Wagyu Beef Tataki and Sashimi selection were both amazing, the sorbet desserts very refreshing. We'll be back.

Attentive efficient service, The food tastes great (we ordered sushi, chicken, salads and grilled corn), everything was fantastic! Relaxing and welcoming atmosphere.. we were very lucky to see Mr Ramsay who was passing by and greeted us with a smile! Definitely recommend!

We booked the Kitchen Table Experience for my wife's 60th birthday. The food was bang average, the service surly, the wine waiter rude and unacquainted with the wine list and there was absolutely no effort made to make this a special. Please do not waste what will be a considerable amount of money.

I had excellent experience here. Chef Ken is my favourite chef. The rest of the staff were amazing too. Excellent food (prepared by chef Ken). I love the cocktail. Excellent service and ambience. Highly recommend.

We had been at this restaurant 4 years ago and though some of our party of 4 enjoyed their sushi, fried rice, glass noodles, and miso salmon, others who had been here before thought the quality was not as good as at previous visit. I really thought that most of the sushi and glass noodles were not flavorable and disappointing but others in my party disagreed with my assessment.

Horrendously over priced with really poor portion sizes. Wouldn’t go again, far better within London. Ambience is the only saving grace .

A very nice experience today. The staff was very elegant, welcoming, and very professional. A big special thank you to Abdou and Charaf, extraordinary people. The meal was delicious, the portions generous and the price very reasonable for the quality and for a city like London. I am a fan of Gordon Ramsay, I have been following his shows for years and I came from Montreal to eat at his place today, my son really wanted to see him unfortunately we were told that he would be showing tomorrow but tomorrow we are leaving for a other destination. Many thanks again.

I am staying in the Marriott hotel, where this venue is located inside. Venue is tired looking, a lot of the leather seats and booths are damaged or stained. I am on a diet, and usually eating only 1 meal per day (breakfast). On top of that, I am quite a fussy eater, especially with breakfast. I asked for Eggs Royale, which consists of Smoked Salmon, 2 poached eggs, and Hollandaise sauce. I asked the blonde lady who came to take my order if I could change the poached egg to omelette (I hate eggs, but I can manage to eat an omelette), but was told point blank it was not possible. I had the French Omelette the day before, but there was quite a lot of cheese inside it, which I was trying to avoid. I ended up having to have the Breakfast Roll (without egg) as there was nothing else on the menu I liked. Their lack of flexibility was really shocking, and I certainly won’t be returning to any Gordon Ramsey establishments ever again after this.

We had a lovely dinner at the Bar & grill, Gordon Ramsay. The food was really tasty, BT was our amazing waiter, very kind and friendly. Definitely coming back!

Dinner last Saturday night was indeed underwhelming. From small dinner plates, cramped and close tables, loud music which did not really add to the atmosphere, under seasoned mashed potato and Beef Wellington that was quite rare with pastry ends that were under cooked! All hallmarks of a TV chefs restaurant that really has lost its attention to detail and does not adhere to the Gordon Ramsay mantra. You can do better!!!

Lovely food, but even better staff! BT was an amazing host, very attentive, cracked jokes and made us feel at ease. The food was stunning and we had the wellington though wished the gravy was a little thicker. Big portions and delicious food.

Everything and everyone in the place is perfect, from the waitress BT to the food, this was an amazing experience.

Casual, bar atmosphere with Great food, great service and a great location. Service is up to the high standard you would expect from a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. The menu is simple but high quality - from decent steak to super expensive Wagu steak (and plenty of other options if you don't want a cow - probably not good for vegans though). I've been 3/4 times now and am never disappointed. Lucky Cat next door is a more formal Asian themed restaurant, if you're want a more formal experience. Recommended.

Wow. Staying nearby for an event in Mayfair and needed some food before the event. Ended up here and wow GRANIT was just amazing! Such a great waiter so attentive and couldn’t do more for us to ensure we were satisfied. Limited menu at lunchtime but ensured we were catered for. 100% recommend!

We found this place after a tour. Our trip was really excited and went into it knowing we’d pay a decent price for the experience but it’s Gordon Ramsey, and felt like we HAD to go. Our waiter was amazing and very kind. The drinks were decent, unfortunately the main reason we went was so disappointing. The food we order left so much to be desired flavor wise. We were overcharged for 2 bottles of water we never received. Unfortunately don’t see us returning to any Ramsey establishments. Definitely feels like you pay for the name over what the name is known for and that was such a let down.

Such a good vibe place, food is tasty and BT is a really heartwarming guy always make us feels like home.

First time at these restaurant. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE ! The food was AMAZING, the waiters are all incredible, specially B.T. This guy have a huge positivity, he help my girlfriend ( we speak french ) with the menu IN A PERFECT FRENCH LANGUAGE. The mood is very sweet, just a little negative point for the music who is just a little bit to loud, but it was a REAL PLEASURE to be there. Go try it you idiots sandwiches :-)

We just had the loveliest week-long stay at the London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square — one of the highlights was definitely enjoying the Gordon Ramsay Bar and Grill throughout the week. They had the most incredible breakfast spread every single morning, and we even ordered room service a couple of times. Not only was the food incredibly fresh and high-quality (you could really taste the difference!), but the staff was fantastic. Ella Kamila and Maffer Olivera especially took such great care of us. Whether you're staying at the hotel or just looking for a delicious breakfast or dinner option, I highly recommend checking out the Gordon Ramsay Bar and Grill. You won’t be disappointed.

came as wanted the Ramsey experience. well it didn't live up to the hype. so the only thing I can say positive about the place was the quality of the meat was very good, shame they manage to cook it and take all the flavors out of it, served on kids plates and when questioned about why we had desert plates for mains the response was we needed to make space on the tables..utterly ridiculous. The mash had absolutely no flavor but was supposed to be bone marrow mash. Gordon seriously! turn the bloody music down and get back in the bloody kitchen and sort this average at best place out.

My breakfast was so good! I was starving and completely forgot to take a picture. Best scrambled eggs with ham and cheese I have ever had! My waitress was Maffer who was attentive to my table, there was a lady dressed in a suit who I presume was the manager who greeted us with a nice smile as we entered, definitely one of the best breakfasts I have ever had:)

Delicious breakfast, thanks to mafer our waitress who explained the menu in Spanish. Nice atmosphere, I would come back to try the famous beef wellington which was recommended by our waitress!!!

It's not cheap - you're in Mayfair, big name on the door. Having said that, we enjoyed it, a lot. Despite arriving early, they were welcoming and helpful. We never felt rushed. A very good bar and a superb (if pricey) wine list, with an excellent sommelier. We really liked the food - I don't think we had a dish we didn't enjoy, and we ordered seconds of several. Sashimi the equal of Ebi Sushi which is our benchmark. The GFC is as good as people have said. The Anthropologist and his mates, who eat a lot of fried chicken, say it's the best they've ever had. My heart sank when I saw there was a DJ, but the music was not intrusively loud (and we're quite old). We actually enjoyed classics from when we were young, remixed. A couple of notes - a coffee was slow in arriving; noticeable only because the rest of the service was so good. And they made a mistake on the bil which they corrected quickly and without fuss.

A fantastic experience on the night! We booked for two and were promptly seated and seen to. Great service from BT who was very genuine and jovial. Got the Wellington for two which was perfectly done, paired well with the mash and additional green beans. Expensive, but you expect that. All around, fantastic!

Must visit in London, our server BT was a legend, great service and personality. Had the ribs which were excellent, will visit again in the future for the famous beef wellington.

Service was brusque and then absent. Having forgot our drink order and then leaving dirty plates for far too long the only conversation was upselling more drinks and dessert. No one asked whether we found the food to our liking or needed anything further. Ketchup was delivered in an unopened jar. Essentially a coffee shop experience with more upscale food. Noisy and uncaring are two words that come to mind.

We went to London for vacation from Germany and the Gordon Ramsay Bar and Grill was one of the places we were most excited about. Luckily we got a table and we were able to eat at this fantastic restaurant. We ordered the rib eye steak and the Spinat as a side and it was incredible. Special thanks to our waiter B.T. who made these exceptional suggestions for the perfect combination of meat and sides. All in all it was one THE HIGHLIGHTS on our trip to London and has to be visit for everybody that crosses his way with the English capital.

I'll certainly visit again! Went there couple nights ago, without a reservation and they found a table really quickly. The food was incredible and what made the most of it was the service. In particular the server Nicole was very helpful and kind. I absolutely recommend !

It was our third time at Gordon's Bar and Grill Mayfair. It was delicious as always and BT was so nice and accomodating! We willbe back for sure!

Went to GR bar & Grill to celebrate a special occasion with my son. He absolutely loved it so the evening was a success! The review here is about the food however. In short, you pay for the name and location so no point complaining about that… but I did expect a bit more from the man who put his name on the front door. Starters: the fried chicken snack was excellent 5/5. The beef tartare was tasty but it’s a bit lazy (and cheap) to serve it with salted potato chips (4/5). Mains were sirloin (4/5) and ribeye (3/5) which were cooked just fine but were in no way extraordinary. Add a small portion of expensive fries and slightly overcooked green beans (still tasty) and a highly appreciated sticky toffee pudding and we landed at over £300. I do doubt however that the dishes (with the exception of the fried chicken) would have been good enough to move to the next level in any of Gordon’s TV shows. All just a bit average… Maybe I am not 100% fair because I didn’t try the highly hyped beef Wellington. Lastly, just remove the TV, the place really doesn’t need it. Even our American friends will agree.

I had an amazing experience at Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill. For starters I had the Jerusalem Artichoke soup. The soup was bursting with flavor I had a difficult time putting my spoon down. Next I ordered the Beef Wellington for 2 and shared it with my friend. The beef absolutely melted in your mouth. Each bite got better and better. The seasoning and the puff pastry were amazing. It was like a symphony in my mouth. When back in London I will definitely return, hungry for more!

Had breakfast here every day on a recent trip to London. Amazing, simple and wholesome breakfasts, and really tasty coffee. The waitstaff was very good, particularly Fouad who was always pleasant, attentive and helpful, despite the early hours we were there! Star employee!

We visited Gordon Ramsay bar and grill for breakfast on Thursday. Our breakfast was delicious, the croissant had the perfect doneness to go with a delicious coffee. Thanks to Mafer for the great service and her nice smile and to Olivera who looked after us and made our day a special day!

Visited The Lucky Cat with my daughter. The lovely waitress talked us through the menu and advised on how much to order. The food was excellent and we were able to order just the right amount. Lovely atmosphere. All the staff so nice and very professional. Would return.

Amazing Beef Wellington, you could easily get full from that alone. And the friendly staff members really make the dining a great experience. Would recommend.

Could not have been better. B.T. was our waiter, and was fantastic. The food and atmosphere were perfect. My wife and I got the beef Wellington for 2 and sticky toffee pudding and loved it all.

Seriously exception service. Staff were extremely accommodating to myself and my guest who required gluten free food. The manager Olivera was attentive and kind. You could tell that her service came from the heart, which is very hard to find these days especially. The girls waiting on us Ella and Monica made sure to check up on us without being over bearing. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner last night for my wife’s birthday, and it was a very special experience. A HUGE thank you to our amazing host Luca, who looked after us incredibly well with a huge smile, impeccable service and great knowledge! He recommended dishes, perfect cocktails and guided us through a really amazing experience flawlessly. Grazie mille Luca! The Asian fusion food was delicious - the flavours and textures delivered on every course, ranging from fresh, light and citrusy Sushi starters to rich and sumptuous meat dishes. Gordon’s ‘GFC’ fried chicken was incredible! The menu has something for everyone. The bar and dining room is classy and contemporary with nice lighting. There is a DJ playing an up-beat vibe that creates a great atmosphere that’s welcoming and relaxed. The whole experience was executed in typical GR style and without any gimmicks that’s other restaurants try in order to be ‘fancy’. Lucky Cat doesn’t need any of that - it’s just delivers utilising a great team, great food, great setting and great atmosphere. Add this to your shortlist for a special memorable dinner out!

Very disappointing experience given the price. Beef Wellington was banal, gambas weren’t fresh, desert was very poor. My expectations were high and the experience wasn’t up to standards

Delicious food with extraordinary service. Service like this only possible by Gordon Ramsays staff. The kind of care they show us, it’s been long I haven’t been received this kind of 5 star service, although I visited many restaurant in Mayfair. Thank you so much to you all of you. Fantastic experience at the Mayfair Bar and Grill. Our son who turned 13 years old loves Gordon Ramsey and was keen to have an experience of his food and restaurant in London. On arrival our son was greeted and was wished a happy special birthday. Our gracious host even invited him to see the kitchen and meet the team. He was overwhelmed and thoroughly enjoyed himself. To top it off he absolutely enjoyed the Beef wellington for 2 with mash and gravy and birthday dessert treats for afters. As a family we loved our time at the restaurant and would recommend it.

Was seriously looking forward to dinner with my partner for our 5 year anniversary together. However we both wish we never bothered really. The steak we had was not the most tasty thing ever and also when one of us tried to cut it it rocked the table because it was so tough. Not a good start. Furthermore £9 a pint is taking the micky really, I know it's London but wow. We had the set steak dinner for 2 that came with a chefs choice of sides. So we both ordered mash and the waiter asked if we wanted any greens to go with it which made us think it was included. IT WASN'T. £6.50 For some spinach! Oh and to top it off there's a 15% service charge. Like this was a gift voucher experience, how can you put a service charge of the total price of it if it was a gift for someone. Seems unfair to me. Also the dress code is strange. All waiters are wearing 3 piece suits and the people next to us had a T shirt on and some joggers. Like what! Never again

I took my partner here for her **St birthday. We booked a table for 2 by phone, I asked if I needed to pre-order for the Wellington experience. I was told no its fine but they'll make a note. We arrived and after a little confusion at the entrance found 3 smiling faces welcoming us through the door. We were greeted by Kasim who showed us to our table. He brought us water and gave us menus. I at this point enquired about the Wellington experience to be informed its only available to tables of 4. This was on the menu that had been provided and he pointed it out in a very friendly manner. He then advised he will try and see if we can still do the experience despite being just the two of us. However he would recommend that we should order seperately as it will work out to be better value. This could easily have been a disappointing or even frustrating exchange, however Kasim made it relaxing and easy. No small task!! The food was as expected phenomenal. However it was deathly quiet when we arrived at 5pm (maybe we booked too early) leaving the atmosphere a bit lacking. Every member of staff passing asked how we were or topped up drinks. This was manages without pestering as well. All in all, as disappointing as it was to not get our desired Wellington experience. We got our overall experience. It was a birthday treat for us and was incredible. Topped off with a lovely birthday surprise for my partner.

Our breakfast at Gordon Ramsay's London Mayfair restaurant was fantastic, and Fouad made it even better! He was super friendly, knew the menu inside out, and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, a great experience thanks to Fouad and the awesome team at the restaurant.

As always, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxed and sophisticated. A real slice of heaven in a busy London

Quite a simple place, the food was nothing extraordinary or anything that would make you cry out for a miracle, I started with a spicy meat plate, to continue with some ribs and to finish with a very good chocolate brownie, I can't say anything about the staff where it was very kind and precise even if they don't know the Italian language at all

Could not believe it when I walked in. Looked like a pub with football playing on the TV and loud music. I thought I was signing up for an enjoyable evening of epic food but it was so unbearably noisy my friends and myself after a while decided to leave. Gordon, let your customers enjoy their over priced food in calm surroundings, not in a disco. I was your biggest fan but not anymore 👎
