One my only go to place in Hartlepool. Spice Hut Hartlepool is always like summer Barbecue party lol. Food always fresh and on time. Love this restaurant. I highly recommend Spice Hut Hartlepool.

Halal food in Hartlepool. I had American Smash Burger. Was absolutely fantastic. 5⭐️ I also had Mixed Lamb/Chicken spicy Doner.4⭐️for me. If you can balance a bit with less meat and more vege would be perfect for me. Too many to try at once but will definitely come again if I am in the town. On 2nd visit, I went for Naga Chicken Wings (5⭐️) and Spicy Buttermilk Chicken Burger (3.5⭐️) .

First of all - the food is amazing and never fails to disappoint. The only thing is when you order for delivery and select a time it is never delivered at the time specified. The manager was extremely apologetic and explained how busy they are but in order to improve the customer experience it is best to give a likely ETA for delivery - we waited nearly 2 hours for food and had to phone several times for updates. It was eventually delivered, and was hot and amazing when we got the food but the only downside is the time you request is rarely the time you get the food

Food freezing burger got no flavour won’t be coming back

Absolutely amazing food and service very friendly staff that make you feel welcome and cared for. Philly steak is out of this world and at very reasonable price also great milkshakes and choice of children’s meals at amazing value we have visited 4 times in 2 weeks now and travel from Saltburn to eat here 10/10 every time

2 hour wait, chips cold and buns soggy on burgers as it's been sat there that long. The food would have been sent back if we hadn't just waited 2 hours for it. Rang up twice to be told it was with the driver, the food would have been nice if it arrived on time

Delicious fresh food with great flavours and hearty portions! Would highly recommend the hot mixed doner, garlic naan and creamy naga dip! 😋 100% the best takeaway in Hartlepool. Also they sometimes add extras in the bag I'm guessing because we order so often! 😄

Massively disappointed with this. After much hype and people saying it was good I thought I would try it with a friend. Firstly I ordered directly with the website and it only gave option for cash only so had to go to the bank first. We ordered two smash burgers which was something these are supposedly popular for, Stated an hour which we accepted but within 15 minutes it was delivered and I thought surely not. Young lad delivering was polite and friendly but that’s where the happiness ends. Handed a black bag what seemed to be pretty light despite two double burgers and chips in. Opened two polystyrene trays and a hand full of chips and a burger wrapped in tin foil squashed in. So presentation to say the least is dire and at £20 It was not great, Tried a chip and it was cold and tasteless and then unwrapped the burger what just appeared to be a sweaty bun squashed with two patties. The burger its self was luke warm at best but tasted ok. The soggy bun was the thing what put me and my friend off most. I ended up leaving some as it was not enjoyable at all, I just don’t understand why an order what was 5 minutes down the road and supposedly made fresh turned up like this, it would lead me to the conclusion that they were already sat there waiting to just go. So unfortunately for me I won’t be trying this again as it was a massive left down and I could of got better, cheaper and more at a closer takeaway,

This one introduced me to spice hut and, I found my self travelling 277.7 miles for my spice hut fix. Best take away I’ve ever had definitely worth the travel.

If you have not tried this place in Hartlepool, then you must 😍, first time trying the American smash burger, it was so deliciously fresh. The spicy butter Chicken burger was full of flavour and unique taste yum! Definitely worth the trip!

I eat in there quite regularly. They food is delicious and is a great place to eat inside and the staff can't help you enough. Tops most places in Hartlepool. And I recommend this Spice Hut to all my friends and family

Wait was about 2 hours and the burgers were cold and a soggy mess and the same with the pitta bread under a cold soggy kabab

Ordered my food at 1840 and told my food would be delivered by 2000. At 2010 I rang up and asked and I was told it would be leaving shortley. At 2045 it turned up like warm and soggy.. I've had the food before and when it's hot it's nice but the majority of the time t turns up late

Ordered online food took a while doe delivery but was advised at point of ordering so expected this. Food once arrived was warm at the best everything was wrapped in tin foil so everything soggy. Tasted ok but nothing special.

Shouldn’t take 3 hours to get a meal for one and a children’s chicken nugget meal. Came cold and soggy. Absolutely shocking. Won’t order again.

Took over an hour to deliver. Onion rings and cheese bite where black no cheese left in them, burger was warm enough to eat but not hot. Only thing nice was the chips.

The food is cold and take too much to arrive. The naan bread is disgusting since the second week of November. I tried to get the old naan bread but didn't taste like the same

Got the house special box and can say it was absolutely 10/10. Was searching for a place that does naga donner and realised this was the closest to me (still 30 minutes away, but so worth it) Collected the order, staff were friendly and welcoming, food was amazing. Exactly as you would expect and definitely ticked my box for the naga donner. Great selection for a great price.

Cancelled my order for no reason after waiting for 1.5hrs

So we ordered this on Hartlepool eats at 6pm, the app told us it would be here by 7:15. At 7:30 I called up saying it’s not here yet and how long it would be, the guy said it would be another 15 mins. Skip to 8:15 and it just arrived luke warm, soggy and the meal was a lot smaller than expected. I’ve ordered from here a few times when it just opened and it’s definitely went down hill.

Me and everyone else on my shift, 5 in total, we all had the runs the day after, so not great, disappointing as we have only had good experiences in the past!

2 hours and 20 min of wait, 3 phone calls and each call said the food is with the driver and will be with you in 5 min. 45 min later there is no food.

Ordered for delivery twice . First time arrived more than 2 hours later than expected despite multiple chase up over the phone. Today food was 45 mins late and was 2 hours after I placed the order on a Wednesday night. Over the phone they said the driver left 5 mins before my phonecall and they said that on both my phonecall even if they were 20 mins apart. I live 2 mins drive from them. I rang to cancel my order.

Visited yesterday loaded chips left me and my family with vomiting and upset stomachs I wouldn’ recommend as other friends have also had similar experiences!

We as a family of six got two loaded boxes and two garlic naan bread to share between us I have to say absolutely class them smash burgers melt in your mouth they were easy my favourite in the box but to be fair it was all well cooked and very nice indeed top marks 👍

Ordered loaded box. Smash burger is lovely, sauce is bic mac style. Mix donner beautiful but hot, nacho chips, sauce is lovely, mango wings were tender. Ribs were nice flavour but fatty with minimal meat but the rest made up for it. Get a naan with it and its enough for two, if you like spicy!. Comes with garlic and peri peri dip, no salad.

First time trying this place. What can I say the lads in there were super friendly, suggested something off the menu to me also. The music was also spot on good vibes all round. I will definitely be back the food was insane!

Food took 3 hours delivery, no contact given, took ages to get through on the phone. Freezing cold when it arrived, chips like rocks, wrong drink delivered, one kebab was supposed to be mild and arrived spicy, and the naans were just poor. Food went in the bin, and messages went ignored. Such a shame.

Ordered the house special box came lukewarm, chops where black and dry too be honest my first time ordering and my last such a shame as I’ve been looking forward to this for a while

Meats really good!! Tasty and a good portion size. Chips weren't great, stale and a bit soggy. Still recommend it though, we'll definitely be back.

Food took 2 hours to arrive was barely luke warm, disappointing for the money

Ordered at 1600 arrived at 1715 but worth the wait... The food was hot, fresh and of a good quality. Price point was slightly high for quantity of food received (17.99 deal with a can of pop and two dips came in with delivery @20.99) the chilli dip was outstanding for tatse and quality and is definitely something new and different compared to everywhere else. Another highlight was the donner meat scoring high for tatse and quality. Overall definitely worth a try though next time I'll probably stick to one of the cheaper deals. 8.5 out of 10. Little side note - the branded packaging definitely adds to the appeal of the overall product.

The food was cold when it arrived after an hour of waiting and missing a few items
