Food excellent service fast pleasant staff

Used to be one of my fav places but recently saw their quality dropping ever since they replaced their stone plates with trays. Their customer service has also gotten worse, we waited 1 hour to get our fast food served. Around 40 mins in , we asked where's our order, they seemed to completely forget. They prioritise takeaways and delivery over dine in customers. All the dine in customers tables were waiting for their food. I used to love eating here and after this experience I will stop coming here for a while.

I have ordered twice from here and both times the food was cold, rang to complain to be told we will give you discount, put on the notes and still got nothing. It's a shame as the food is very nice but not nice when it comes cold and have to warm it. Missed off a meal they did bring a replace with in 20 minutes and extra chips even when I said no.

Their customer service is second to none The product quality is consistently outstanding . I was completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service. I will 100% be back got 2 meal and 2 drinks less then £20

Food was out of this world and the service we got was brilliant other kabab shops around the area were blown out the water and the prices were unbeaten spent around 8/10 pound and for the quality of the food this is worth it ever time. Can he more attentive we got extra salad brought out and unlimited sauces on the table.

Between my partner and I we smashed our food. Everything was delicious. Will definitely we ordering from here again the the future

Was welcomed nicely, with a great atmosphere. Kieron, who served us was lovely and make sure we were comfortable and everything with food and service was okay. Food was presented well and was hot and fresh. Would definitely recommend!

Staff where really good food was brilliant would recommend this place

This restaurant has the best kebab in the entire North. Unique way of presenting food is the art of the chef. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. If anyone like to order food with proper modifications I definitely recommend Spice Hut.

We ordered from here this evening and spend almost £50. Everything came hard and cold and delivery was nearly 2 hours. £11.50 for a steak sandwich meal and it was cold and was sent with just the sandwich. Wings were super hot even though we ordered mild. All around a very expensive mistake. Never again. Wouldn’t recommend. Rang and discussed how cold the meal was and the staff were nice enough. Offered to send a free meal or discount on Next order but that doesn’t really help us now and we won’t be reordering.

Ordered via Hartlepool Eats for the first time here tonight. Ordered a mixed masala (mild), popcorn chicken, and American burger meal. The Hartlepool eats app doesn't give you any information within relation to what it is exactly that you're ordering, therefore not sure if that's an issue with the establishment or the app, either way it's a little bit of a surprise we took the plunge on. Value for money, i would say it's a little bit on the expensive side. But, you're paying for better than average quality food, which is even packaged better than average. The chips/fries were cold, though. The masala wasn't mild. It was hot. The American smash burger was too loaded with burger sauce, which caused the onion rings on the burger to be soggy. There was too much sauce, which ruined the burger and the overall taste. Unlikely to order again, but don't regret giving this place a try. *UPDATE* Further to my review, I had a response and got in touch with the restaurant! They were extremely lovely and offered to send out a replacement meal! They have excellent customer service and really do care what their customers think! I would like to add an extra star and honestly state that they do go above and beyond to attempt to please their customers, this on it's own is worth it's weight in gold. On top of that, their food the second time around was absolutely delicious!! They have themselves a regular customer now! Thanks, Spice Hut!

Ordered form here and food arrived quite fast. Spicy kebab meat was delicious but chips were cold, cheap and like cardboard and were supposed to be nacho cheesy chips but had no cheese on, maybe a spoon of cheese sauce and 3 slices of jalapeno!

Ordered my food at 1840 and told my food would be delivered by 2000. At 2010 I rang up and asked and I was told it would be leaving shortley. At 2045 it turned up like warm and soggy.. I've had the food before and when it's hot it's nice but the majority of the time t turns up late. Thought I would try again a couple of months later. I ordered the spice box £14.99 at 1806hrs I was informed my food would be delivered by 1920 hrs. I rang up at 1950hrs as my food had not been delivered I was told it was with the driver. My food eventually arrived at 2005 hrs. The driver apologised how ever the food was cold. The loaded fries where just a congealed mess all clumped up together and the burger was cold with the ribs cold and greasey. I have had nice food from them before when it's been delivered promptly however cold it's not very apertising. I will not be giving them another chance.

The best takeaway in Hartlepool, the staff are amazing, definitely a place to be visiting if you’re wanting kebabs, burgers , wings they sell everything! Never had a bad experience with these guys, 100% recommend!

We had excellent service, the food was prepared quick so we didnt have to wait long The food was very tasty and hot and was presented really well tooo. Its a small restaurant but very good to come with friends family or someone special. I came with my friend but i will definitely come again with family too.

Food was nice came in a quick time but a shame there was plastic in our milkshake

I ordered 2 milkshakes, and nearly chocked on some plastic, as I kept drinking I found more and more plastic in my drink. My partner also found plastic in his milkshake too. We rang back but said they couldn’t do nothing and didn’t give me a refund!!

REALLY OVERHYPED ordered chicken doner, chips and naan. no naan bread. Chicken doner tasted very bog standard, doner is stirfried with onions which isn't mentioned anywhere, had i known this i would have ordered something else as i can't stand onion. chicken burger was alright, chips were nice. also ordered cheese bites and sent chili cheese bites. naga strips were super dry and not spicy enough. Chips however were really nice

Halal food in Hartlepool. I had American Smash Burger. Was absolutely fantastic. 5⭐️ I also had Mixed Lamb/Chicken spicy Doner.4⭐️for me. If you can balance a bit with less meat and more vege would be perfect for me. Too many to try at once but will definitely come again if I am in the town. On 2nd visit, I went for Naga Chicken Wings (5⭐️) and Spicy Buttermilk Chicken Burger (3.5⭐️) .

Great flavoursome food huge portions at reasonable prices and friendly staff. Definitely be back.

First of all - the food is amazing and never fails to disappoint. The only thing is when you order for delivery and select a time it is never delivered at the time specified. The manager was extremely apologetic and explained how busy they are but in order to improve the customer experience it is best to give a likely ETA for delivery - we waited nearly 2 hours for food and had to phone several times for updates. It was eventually delivered, and was hot and amazing when we got the food but the only downside is the time you request is rarely the time you get the food

Food freezing burger got no flavour won’t be coming back

Absolutely amazing food and service very friendly staff that make you feel welcome and cared for. Philly steak is out of this world and at very reasonable price also great milkshakes and choice of children’s meals at amazing value we have visited 4 times in 2 weeks now and travel from Saltburn to eat here 10/10 every time

2 hour wait, chips cold and buns soggy on burgers as it's been sat there that long. The food would have been sent back if we hadn't just waited 2 hours for it. Rang up twice to be told it was with the driver, the food would have been nice if it arrived on time

Massively disappointed with this. After much hype and people saying it was good I thought I would try it with a friend. Firstly I ordered directly with the website and it only gave option for cash only so had to go to the bank first. We ordered two smash burgers which was something these are supposedly popular for, Stated an hour which we accepted but within 15 minutes it was delivered and I thought surely not. Young lad delivering was polite and friendly but that’s where the happiness ends. Handed a black bag what seemed to be pretty light despite two double burgers and chips in. Opened two polystyrene trays and a hand full of chips and a burger wrapped in tin foil squashed in. So presentation to say the least is dire and at £20 It was not great, Tried a chip and it was cold and tasteless and then unwrapped the burger what just appeared to be a sweaty bun squashed with two patties. The burger its self was luke warm at best but tasted ok. The soggy bun was the thing what put me and my friend off most. I ended up leaving some as it was not enjoyable at all, I just don’t understand why an order what was 5 minutes down the road and supposedly made fresh turned up like this, it would lead me to the conclusion that they were already sat there waiting to just go. So unfortunately for me I won’t be trying this again as it was a massive left down and I could of got better, cheaper and more at a closer takeaway,

If you have not tried this place in Hartlepool, then you must 😍, first time trying the American smash burger, it was so deliciously fresh. The spicy butter Chicken burger was full of flavour and unique taste yum! Definitely worth the trip!

Wait was about 2 hours and the burgers were cold and a soggy mess and the same with the pitta bread under a cold soggy kabab

Ordered online food took a while doe delivery but was advised at point of ordering so expected this. Food once arrived was warm at the best everything was wrapped in tin foil so everything soggy. Tasted ok but nothing special.

Shouldn’t take 3 hours to get a meal for one and a children’s chicken nugget meal. Came cold and soggy. Absolutely shocking. Won’t order again.

Took over an hour to deliver. Onion rings and cheese bite where black no cheese left in them, burger was warm enough to eat but not hot. Only thing nice was the chips.

2 hrs 30 mins late and the order wasn’t 100% right
