We had a take away here and were very impressed. Ordered on the app and food was ready for collection on arrival. High quality food and good value. We now plan to go to the restaurant.

Had a delivery from here last night. It was amazing. Full of flavour, authentic, and massive portions. Well worth the money. I’d been hoping to try it for ages. Will definitely be returning for a sit down meal next time. Butter chicken and pilau rice were great. Naan bread was brilliant. 10/10

Beautiful meal. Staff very friendly and great service. Reasonable price. Toilets were absolutely spotless. Will definitely be back.

A take away from here is my Saturday evening treat, I have been trying their various curries and have been satisfied. However this time I ordered the Butter Chicken, which on the Take Away Menu had a heat index of * Mild, Unfortunately it was 🌶️🌶️🌶️ so much so that I couldn’t eat it. It’s difficult to order again with confidence after this 🤔

The best Indian food around, really tasty I order Chicken Korma and my husband gets the Madras and they are gorgeous! I highly recommend you try.

First time eating here and have to say it was delicious. Very attentive staff and the free appetiser popadoms with dips was a lovely touch. We will definitely return.

Wow, ordered a take away for the first time and the food was exceptional. But even more impressive was the kindness of the staff and their A* customer service. I got delayed collecting the food (so sorry!) and arrived to find everything closed up and everyone ready to go home but stuck waiting for me - and they couldn’t have been kinder or more patient! So sorry again but thank you for the beautiful food and amazing service x x

From start to finish, nothing could be faulted. The staff were courteous, the food divine, and everything was timed perfectly. From the wine being poured, to the complimentary pappadums, to the starters (Royal chicken - delicious), break between courses, our main dishes ( Tikki Garlic Chilli chicken & Tikka Pasanda - superb) and an unhurried after dinner chat. There was no sense of rushing you through the mean and out the door but the staff were available if needed. A return visit is a definite!

Friendly welcome, very clean and comfortable, food flavoursome, crispy items crispy, meat beautifully spiced, really enjoyed the Lamb Chilli Tika Masalla and Vegatable Rice, complimentary Poppadoms and dips to start, price good too, will definitely return to here again with friends and family.

Had a meal in the restaurant recently and also a takeaway. Seriously good quality,flavoursome,good portions and reasonably priced.I was really impressed and will use this restaurant regularly in future!

Authentisch und lecker. Wer genug von Fish' n Chips oder den üblichen Sandwiches und Bürgern hat, ist hier richtig. Wirklich ausgezeichnetes Essen.

Orders food to be delivered at 6.15pm and was told it would be approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. At 7.55pm I was told it was only 2 minutes away. I called back at 8.40pm when it still hadn’t arrived. They kept asking me if I wanted to cancel my order and I said no I wanted the food because my grandson was staying with us and he was hungry. I said I wanted discount for the inconvenience and he said I could pay them whatever I wanted. So I paid nothing it’s what they deserve as it’s not the first time it’s happened. Then they called me back and said I wasn’t to call them again and they wouldn’t serve me again. They only had one driver on that night but they told me my food would be delivered between 45 minutes and one hour. Whose fault is that. Pay the drivers what they are owed and stop under paying them. Don’t worry about me ordering anything again and everyone I tell about this is going to be told what you like when ordering. The further away you are the less likely you are to get your order. Orders close by get first.

My sister and I visit restaurants frequently, I feel I had to leave a review for Spice House as we had a great dining experience. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was really good, I would highly recommend it to lovers of Indian cuisine. It was a relaxed atmosphere great ambience and the staff were helpful but unobtrusive.

Staying in the area and have a genuine love for Indian food.We booked The spice house.The restaurant was not very busy just a few tables were occupied.The waitress was friendly but her understanding of English was very poor there were several mistakes with first our drinks,then the starters and this continued to the sides as well.The menu is the usual varied menu,having regularly eaten out at many Indian restaurants and have always had very good experiences we thought this would be the same sadly the menu is very overpriced at £16.95 per main if it had been of good quality then no problem but unfortunately the quality was very poor on starters,mains and sides.The drinks we ordered were simple lemonades with lime but the drinks when they eventually arrived were not what we ordered and when they replaced them we were then given almost flat lemonade . We would definitely not visit this restaurant again or recommend it to anyone. Very disappointed.
