Best Indian I've had in years omg order the mix kebab it won't let u down

Ordered chicken Tikka masala with rice(delivery). Rice was great but chicken was too salty like a dry fried fish salty, and gravy was too sweet. Again rice was tasty with richness.

I ordered chicken shawarma ( large portion with plenty of salad and sauces ) This was best shawarma I’ve ever had. Definitely beats the one in Manchester Good packaging and decent pricing. Great location. Car parking could be tricky. Staff ( Indian lady ) was quite friendly and suggested the right sauces

A great place to grab a quick takeaway after a night out. There is a great selection of food covering a range of options. The food here hits the spot.

Is it the largest kebab I’ve ever seen? I didn’t say that but I’ve heard people say it?.Wow! What a huge kebab. The best kebab in the country. Some people have said that. I didn’t say that. But I’ve certainly heard it.

One of the worst Indian food I ever had. I ordered a Veg Kadhai and Dal Makhni and all I got was just potatoes and some tomtato which was too oily Dal Makhni was made from Chana Dal and didn’t taste like dal at all. If yo call yourself Indian Restaurant , please don’t befool the customer.

Fantastic kebab and curry house. Been a long time since I had a chicken korma as good as this one. Kebabs were delicious too. Enjoyed the food that much we ordered twice in the same week!

Ordered 2 chicken and 1 shish kebab and chicken pakora. All kebabs were delightful. The chilli sauce for the kebab is HOT so highly recommend getting mayo or garlic mayo to cool it but all food was delicious.

Indian & European takeaway situated at a fantastic location with excellent sea views near .Quality food, serving too much quantity like a heavy one day’s meal, The staff were very attentive . The food was prepared quickly and price is reasonable The menu is varied and includes a range of Kababs, Pizzas , pasta as well as kids options. I opted for the Munch box and I was presented with one of the largest Munch-box I have ever ordered. Average pricing for the area, and definitely worth a visit. This takeaway can be busy in the evenings, the customer demand shows the quality of service. But that busy don't let put you off. Stomach full with Mindful 😀😀

Tikka Masala has big chunks of succulent chicken. There are no veg with the dish but that's ok. The Punjabi masala has peppers in it if you want and similar sauce. Munchie box always a favourite. Just a note- the Butter chicken is hot. Why I don't know as usually this is a kids dish and mild. We just order the tikka and it's really nice. Garlic masala lovely too. If you order early around 5-6pm your order comes within 15 min give or take. If you order 7pm + as they get so busy with holiday makers collecting it's less predictable when it will arrive. Driver is friendly and really great

I had an amazing meal with an amazing view tonight. I arrived at my B&B in Bushmills, Northern Ireland this evening - I’m meeting a friend here tomorrow and visiting the Giant’s Causeway, Dunluce Castle and hopefully touring the Distillery. I went into Portrush for a quick dinner and came across Indian Ocean Takeout. Takeout sounded good as I was tired after a long drive to NI, so I ordered the Spicy Chicken Korma with Garlic Naan. I drove back toward my B&B and found a parking spot at a viewing point on the coast, so I parked and watched the sun set while enjoying one of the tastiest Indian dishes I’ve had. The korma sauce was perfectly flavored, just the right amount of spice to warm me, and the chicken was tender and juicy. The garlic naan bread was huge, pillowy, and delicious. I’ll definitely return to try another dish at Indian Ocean next time I’m in the area. I didn’t get a picture of the food but here are some pics of my view.

Got the chicken kebab on chips with onions and house sauce. Was one of the best kebabs I've ever had. Perfect end to the night. Thank you Indian Ocean I could swim in your house sauce.

We ordered a takeaway from here whilst holidaying in the area, prices were very reasonable and the food was of great quality especially the tandoori shasklick which includes in the price rice or naan and a side veg curry which was great. The only downside was the time taken to deliver but the food was worth the wait.

Got a mixed Kebab tonight, friendly service which was great, telling us the chilli was really spicy and letting us try before deciding to have it. Good portion size with lovely nan (bonus) and was the best mixed kebab I've ever had - definitely recommend.

Munchie Box 10/10. Delicious fresh naan with loads of chicken pakora, doner, bahji and other Indian delights. Fresh salad lettuce, tomato, onions and garlic sauce. Considering the current recession I was pleasantly surprised that such fantastic range of poultry and fresh produce was used in the munchie box.

Was absaloutly starving and couldn’t wait to get my kebab with a little sweet chilli sauce and what I received was nothing short of a dogs dinner , the meat was cold and really chewy and the sauce looked like blood clots won’t be back near it again !

Fast 💨 service and the food was nice 👌🏼 Super clean 🧼 place Is just takeaway 🥡 there is not place to eat inside but prices and quality of food 🥘 is great 🙂

Tonight I got the worsts kabab I think I have EVER HAD .. The meat was DRY AND TASTLESSS (( LOOKED BOILED OR MICROWAVED ))) FROM LASTNIGHT.......THE SAUCE WAS SPLIT AND SMELLED SOUR (( AS THE CREAM WAS OFF ..The salad was so small no cabbage in it ... The bread was thick and doughy..and COLD....The Pakora was ok dry (( NO SAUCE GIVEN )).... WILL NEVER BE BACK HERE ID GO ELSE WHERE .. PLUS £3.00 JUST EAT DELIVERY FEE ...AND ITS NOT FAR FROM MY HOUSE ... (((( AVOID )))))

Literally gross. Took 2 hours to arrive, half of our order was wrong after he repeated it to me correctly on the phone twice. The curry chip was like cement and the pizza was the size of the palm of my hand. Literally may aswell have set my money alight. Ruined dinner for a family weekend away as after spending £65 everyone’s still starving.

We ordered the munchie box. It was much larger than we imagined. My husband and I shared it for dinner and had the leftovers for lunch the next day too! My kids enjoyed their kid meals. I really liked that the menu was so varied for my family.

Great kebabs, the chilli and house sauces are the best I've had anywhere. The staff are friendly and polite, as kebab shops go this is up there with the best. The shop is also very clean.

First time getting out of here. Anytime down in portrush will always get out of Indian ocean. The chicken korma was Delicious and great taste, portion size was great, nice white rice, sweet nan bread fresh stood watch them roll it. The place is spotless, staff great. Ordered on just eat was told pick up at time wanted and it was just being finished of when its arrived. Well done to the team we really enjoyed it.

Nice enough kebab portion was ok but staff totally rude. Threw the salad and sauce on and near enough threw the order at us. No thank you and clearly don't no how to speak to customers. Just looked grumpy whole time we were in the place. Won't b back.

Takeaway only. Called in twice when holidaying on North Coast, & took our food to eat on Portrush’s West Strand, just 5 mins walk away. 1st was time was gorgeous sunny day, & the taste of their food matched the vibe perfectly! (veg korma, aubergine & spinach side, mushroom rice & plain Nan bread). 2nd time was a cold wet day, so we eat in the car overlooking the stormy sea, but the food still did not disappoint (same order, but this time their veg korma came with a different variety of veg, so nice that they keep it fresh). Both times we rang ahead to order, but we still had to wait about 10 mins after they had predicted before our food was ready (although at least that means we know it’s been freshly cooked). Cards accepted. Will definitely make them our 1st stop Portrush takeaway.

Food was over a hour late which now happens so much now from ordering from them the driver is rude and food cold it’s such a shame as it’s good food but for the wait and rudeness I get not again I wouldn’t recommend this place !!!

I live in Portrush and I've been going to the Indian Ocean for years. It's a very decent takeaway, I tend to stick with Pizza or kebabs and I would recommend the chicken pakora. I've never been disappointed. Nowadays it can get very busy but the staff are always polite and friendly.

If you are a hungry hallion try the large munch box. Enough to feed 2 men and a wee lad. The large Kebab is also enough to 1 man and a wee lad. Enjoy 😉

Food was supposed to arrive within 60 minutes, two and a half hours later it turns up. No apology from the driver. I rang the restaurant several times to try and get updates and they hung up on me. Tikka Masala did not taste of tikka, it was very sweet and was more sauce than anything. I counted six pieces of chicken in the whole dish. The rice was clearly boil in the bag rice with random pieces of carrot and peas throughout? Very strange. Child’s pizza came hanging out of the box with 4 pieces of pepperoni on it. Chips were spilling out of the box all over the bag. It looked like it had been thrown from one end of the room to the other. AVOID like the plague.

Ordered two different dishes. Both tasted exactly the same. I ordered and paid for lamb but it was beef. The rice was congealed boiled rice not what you expect from an Indian restaurant! Waste of money! Avoid!!

Ordered a chicken burger Have now just ordered My Coffin and began making funeral arrangements for my inevitable death in the morning.

The order took 3 hours to arrive...yes 3 hours. We rang at 6.20pm and it arrived at 9.15pm. I rang to complain and the guy on the other end of the phone just said they were very busy, no apology, nothing. he literally just hung up on me when after he spoke. Won't be ordering from them again. A small "sorry about that" would have stopped me from leaving this review. To top it all off the food was cold and they forgot parts or our order.

Get this every week & it’s amazing. Last week for first time there was a mix up with order. The manager was v understanding and rectified the situation. Home made naan/ kebab bread made in their own oven. Chicken, fresh peppers, onion bahji all delicious and top rate. Sauces to die for. Cant recommend enough. See you next week!

Ordered one Kebab at on Just Eat App at 6:15. It’s now 7:50 and it’s just be delivered. Food only Slightly warm, why has it took an hour an half when I’m the app it said 40 minutes. Disappointed

Apart from the fact they clearly can't tell the difference between a Tikka Masala and Balti... They have a cheek to charge over a £10 for 6 small pieces of chicken in a tub of watery slop. Unreal. £4.50 for a handful of kebab for a start.. Absolutely disgusted.

Best cure for a hangover I’ve ever encountered. Also quite delicious. I highly suggest the Doner Kebab on Naan bread. Really don’t understand why people are giving such low reviews— this place is cheaper and healthier than McDonald’s but even more delicious. If you want a 5 star meal, go to the Ramore. My friends and I come here all the time and plan to keep on coming.

Lamb balti was only 70% lamb, rest was chicken - I guess to save cost - or was contaminated - whats worse? BUT, they do a phenomenal meal box in a pizza box i would travel to get again

Booked a takeaway from this restaurant at 8.30pm - was told that it would be an hour. Hadn’t arrived by 9.45, so called again to query. Person on the other end apologised, but to our delight, told us that our was literally 2/3 mins away. Guess what, it wasn’t. Called again at 10pm, no answer from the restaurant. Called again using my wife’s phone at 10.15, no answer. Takeaway finally arrived at 10.40 - an hour and 20 mins late. Paid the driver his delivery fee, and sent the food back. Absolute shambles

We ordered 2 large doner kebabs first of all the nan bread was under baked it was horrible chewy raw dough , the doner meat was a very small portion and we paid for a large portion, salad wasnt fresh and if you want coleslaw they ask you for another 50p. The staff are rude. This place is just about making money they do not care about the customer, give this place a wide berth it's one of the worst places I've ever been to .
