Spice Express Takeaway Cumbernauld in North Lanarkshire

We had the family round for New Year Dinner and wanted something special. The problem I faced was the diverse food requests. Problem solved. Contacted Spce Express in Westfield and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Ordered online on 1st January and got an email to confirm when I could pick up my order. It was there waiting. Was piping hot and delicious. Even my fussy granddaughter who wanted pizza was delighted. Spice Express are a Top Rated service and the food is great.

Love the pizzas, the curry's are really tasty and the chips are awesome.

Spice Express is my go to place for an Indian Take Away in Cumbernauld. Food is always hot when it arrives and arrives quickly. Always a great service. These guys do a great job. The charity work they do is outstanding. We will always be back!

I having been using Spice Express for years now and it's always a great munch..in particular their Tandoori mix grill is hands down the best anywhere in Cumbernauld and iv tried lots of their rivals over the years..loads of meat, rice, curry sauce and I big naan for £18..🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 They also do an great chicken tikka bhuna curry pizza..Great fluffy pizza dough base, lovely and saucey with loads of chicken tikka and the perfect amount of cheese..again 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 these are my 2 favourite meals I get delivered regularly and never once has it failed me..the take away is always on point.. Fantastic place.. Can't recommend enough.

Recently ordered the Spice Express Special Kebab, the shish, chicken and Adana kebab was so tender and flavoursome, along with the salad and sauce makes this a perfect weekend treat. The portion sizes are exceptional which makes this treat excellent value for money. Thanks to all at Spice Express Kenny 😃👍👍👍

Order delivered quickly, the meal was very nice and was a big portion. That big I had the rest for my lunch next day. Thanks will be ordering again

I have just found this place a few months ago. This must be one of the best kebabs I have tasted. The Doner meat is amazing,the salad it perfect. Wouldn't go anywhere else now!

Great take away service and food are excellent

This was the worst meal that we have ordered from spice express. The meal arrived very quickly and on tasting the pakora it was obviously a reheat the mushroom and chicken pakora was overdone. The main course appears to be mixed up as I ordered lamb tikka jaipuri and it was mild my wife ordered a garam masala and it was very spicy Have used Spice Express on a number of occasions and was very disappointed with this meal maybe it would be a good idea to label the mains to identify what the dishes are

Can’t afford takeaways as much so this is my go to never disappointed

Did not take to long and the mixed kebab, was by far the best iv ever had. Also the cheese pizza ' one bite everyone knows the rules 'Dave Portnoy solid 6.2 all in all fantastic establishment.

No bad but tend to find there meat over cooked and dry. Pizzas are better than others near by.

Absolutely fantastic. I just found my new kebab place. Staff friendly and caring. Definitely recommended! Your special king kebab defeated me I couldn't finish it all!

Staff are completely unable to get an order right even if you order online they still get it wrong written in front of them. Pizza very bland, supposed to be £2 on Wednesday for 2nd pizza charged me full price. Total joke

Usually I give 5 stars but not this time. £6.00 for a vegetable kebab and what I got is pictured. Polystyrene is not the way to pack hot food. Sauce over everything and the polystyrene changes shape due to the heat and lets the heat out. Chips in paper bags do not keep chips hot. Very disappointed this time. Also when I select 6pm for collection I don’t expect to get a phone call at 5.40 to say my food is ready. I selected 6pm because that is when I can pick it up. Usually it is a 5 star rating so I’m hoping it was just one of those days.

Fairly quick delivery. Prices are reasonable compared to others' . Food arrives hot.

Food is nice but the service is shocking. Been using Spice Express for years because their curries are really nice but the service is getting beyond a joke. Every week there is something missing from the order or we have a wrong item in the order. Getting sick of it and I'll not be using them again..

Beautiful curries, large portions and cooked beautifully! I had paneer chasni and it was utter perfection!

AVOID!!! Ordered a spicy donner and chicken pizza via the Uber eats app. Added mushrooms to the pizza as an extra topping. Also order a meal deal pizza with garlic bread. Order arrived with a mushroom pizza only and no garlic bread. Phoned to query and was told the the issue was with Uber eats and not them. They tried to tell me that the spicy donner pizza could only have one topping so they gave me mushrooms!! Zero meat and zero apology or to try rectify. Won’t be back. Good customer lost.

Our usual takeaway, but only used occasionally when home circumstances require the need for a house delivery. We always order a set meal for two and have never been disappointed over the past year or so. Portions are very generous and well presented. There's usually a wee bit left over for a nice Lunch the following day (not the rice, because you must not reheat rice). Delivery time is always spot-on. Top class Service.

Excellent service only fault I ordered lamb Rogan Josh along with 2 chicken tikka order arrived no Rogan Josh don't know what the dish was except it was another chicken dish hubby ate it as he was "Hank Marvin" just got home from 12: hour shift. Portion size very generous and delivery time for a Friday evening was quick

Love there deserts. Could be better when delivering cold food. Not all the time but sometimes ice cream is melted pretty bad. Considering I stay less than 5 mins away. Could expect better.

Chicken was seriously dry in the hogie tonight, and it didn't taste nice at all with all the old chips in it too, really not happy tonight, as normally order from there and it's normally good, also dead fly in prawn cocktail! Horrible!

I am Indian and I am very picky about Indian takeaways as I have a very high standard. I used to go all the way to kirky mahal but this place is great. The nan bread is spot on not too thick and gooey. Chicken pakora, currys are lovely too. Very reasonable prices and delivery. Can't fault it for what it is.
