I’m a regular to this place and the main meals have never disappointed BUT tonight the chicken chat wings had a texture like deep fried Saharan sand they where deep fried dry and tasting of chip oil horrific is the best description

lamb and chicken curry and crispy pakora,peshawari nan so sweet and spicy onions with popodoms delicious,very reasonably priced

1 popodom for the spicy onions , calzone not of usual size box had added chips which was not asked for which made the box look fuller very disappointing

I’m pretty disappointed with my order this evening. I am a frequent customer of Spice Village and tonight the food was unusually poor. The Korma wasn’t properly heated and didn’t taste good. The chips were dry and hard and the donner wasn’t great

Second time ordering from here , food was amazing and very hot on delivery despite living a few miles away . Highly recommend this place .

The chicken korma was okay but too spicy for a korma, but the mix grill may have been the worst I’ve had to date. Most of the meat was overcooked, zero moisture in any of the meat pieces. The portion was generous but I couldn’t eat most of it.

If no one has tried this place and you like curry’s try the chicken bunah is amazing best curry a have tasted in a while

Unreal food it’s so delicious and generous portions honestly love this place

Packed the can of juice and sauces into the same plastic bag as the munchy box so the box ended up soggy making the chips a bit soggy but other than that food was good would order again but collect so i can keep the cold stuff separate to avoid damp

Ordered curries, pizzas, munchy boxes and everything was really good. Garlic mayo and Pakora sauce v tasty, the food was of very high standard. Will 100% use again. Chasni was very tasty and the peshwari naan was the best I’ve had. Complimentary popadoms and spiced onions 10/10. Huge order and asked for 6.30 delivery everything came, was on time and I think the best Indian for delivery

Old And soggy chips. Mushroom pakora old, dry And tastless. Donner meat had a funny taste to it And was just about warm.

Ordered a portion of chicken nuggets and chips, salad with a dip. Arrived in 15 minutes, was impressed. Food was nice. Only downside was i got a can of pepsi that i didn't ask for. Overall was pleased.

I ordered spicy masala chicken tikka & korma ceylonese chicken tikka along with 2 garlic naan’s, I felt the chicken tikka on both meals tasted boiled & the naan’s where undercooked, not the usual standard of spice village but I am a bit disappointed, not worth the £30, I will return as they’re my favourite restaurant & hopefully it will be better next time, thanks

one of my meals were not delivered, phoned restaurant 20 mins ago and still hasnt been redelivered

Food was not fresh and delivered cold! pitta breads were hard and inedible big lumps of unmelted cheese on chips! Water poured from bag of stale salad.Big disappointment as been ordering from here for years but went right downhill lately

Accepted my order then just didn’t deliver it, no answer to my phone calls, used before and I’ve had late delivery but this has been the worst.

My chicken Jaipuri was spot on, just the right amount of spice for my pallete, very delicious. my chips were unfortunately hard, so I won't be ordering them again.

kinda knew this wasn't going to be good when the order is 30 mins early! the puri bread was dough.. totally undercooked. the chicken in the kebab was way overcooked and so dry I had to sip water between the bites! first time ordering and it will be my last order.. this place is not getting anymore of my hard earned money I work fir!!! how does your establishment get away with putting this muck out to the public.. I'd phone to complain but they'd only send another kebab and puri.. no danger mate

The best garlic Nan I have tasted in a long time and the chasni was delicious only thing wrong was the salt and chilli chips not crisp and no onions or peppers just season on them but defo will order again

Chips and cheese and cheese pizza was absolutely fine but chicken tikka chasni pizza was disgusting smelt like rotten feet and tasted like off cheese 😩 normally pizzas are amazing from here but not this one very disappointed

The Jaipuri was delicious. However, as I asked for chips instead of rice, I was disappointed as the chips were not freshly made and lukewarm with half of them hard, probably the bottom of the bag, such a shame as it spoiled my meal.

First time ordering from here....Delivery was very v late considering its a mere 2 mile journey...fair enough it gets busy understable... however food was cold had to be heated up again... pizza was cold and soggy the box came apart in your hand. Chicken tikka kebab was ok. I wouldn't order again.

Not this time. Disappointed. The food wasn’t hot. The chicken pakora wasn’t cooked through. And there’s been a change to the chicken in the hoagie wrap, chicken seems to be diced rather than chunks. It will be a while before we reorder. Shame.

The chips were only just warm enough to be edible and the onion rings included in the meal deal weren’t delivered. Disappointed as anything we’ve ordered from here before has been to a good standard

Normally a good service however items missing from order. Called and was told they'd send driver right back with missing items. Over an hour later we still hadn't received them had to call shop to chase. Got them eventually and wasn't even hot.

Food from here is stunning! The chips and South Indian is sooo nice! Portions are huge and the food is always piping hot! Delivery was so quick too! My fave Indian takeaway

Super quick & friendly delivery, main meal piping hot & delicious…unfortunately veg pakora sent instead of mixed and was cold with no sauce… will take it as a blip and hopefully next time will be back to usual standard

Curry was lukewarm… tasted nice though… chicken pakora had a couple of fatty bits through it… chips were soggy & a bit like reheats… never had an issue before… hopefully a one off..

Tried somewhere different for a takeaway and unfortunately the food arrived 30minutes late. We checked the food and it was cold, had to be reheated in the microwave. Very poor service and not the standard we would expect for £22

FINALLY!!!! A place that knows what thier doing tasted amazing ordered chips and cheese and a cheese and onion pizza and kids nuggets and boy o boy they put A LOT more than a weeeee tiny dribble of cheese on my chips like most places do they covered them in cheese was amazing same with the pizza and lots of onions too and the cherry on top it was still piping hot for a change so cutos to the driver too for getting it here like that brilliant safe to say best takeaway ive had in a LONNNNNNG time

Strange how you can’t put how late your order was, only goes to 5 mins 🤦‍♀️. I have absolutely no qualms about how long I’ve got to wait but just don’t tell me it’s going to be 30 mins when in reality it’s 75 minutes? Then when you phone restaurant they tell you “it could be down to the weather or roadworks” its 15 degrees out there & there’s no roadworks within a 10 mile radius ( or traffic lights) just tell the truth!

Pakora, Poppadoms and Spiced Onions all lovely. Fried Rice lovely and fluffy, Chips were a wee bit of a let down and felt like they'd been lying but still ate them. Lamb Bhuna was amazing 😁 South Indian Garlic Chicken, was spicier than expected but it was very nice and Garlic Nan was also lovely, will order again.
