Soyvlaki Land in Hackney

This place is top-notch. Not the most extravagant place to look at, but the food is always so so fresh and tasty. You can see that’s what they focus on here. Freshness and taste. And you can’t fault that! Although the prices are rising. It’s still great value as well. I’d recommend the halloumi wrap. But then I could recommend everything to be honest. Love this place.

¡Me encantan los giroscopios de cerdo en Souvlakiland! Hacen todo desde cero. ¡A mis hijos les encanta ir allí y se ha convertido en nuestro lugar favorito!

Absolutamente fantástico souvlaki! Teníamos la verdura, los yeeros de cerdo y los yeeros de pollo y nos encantó a cada uno de ellos. Una de las mejores souvlaki que he tenido, incluso en comparación con las de mi hogar en Grecia. Lo único que me encantaría tener como opción sería pedir una parte de los chips, no teníamos esto disponible a través de deliveroo. Precio razonable y excelente calidad

Donde empezar. Llegué muy hambriento, y llevándome mi propio limón por si acaso. Decidí comer, fue un error que la puerta se abriera y la gente no la cerrara (incluido el personal), aunque pudieron ver que estaba sentada allí. La comida fue tirada en el mostrador por personal indiferente que no era amable y estaba bien. Cerdo seco, un poco de cebolla y tomate y salga de la tina. No es un gran anuncio de comida griega o de hospitalidad y calidez griegas, y soy medio griego. No comer aquí de nuevo o pedir su comida para llevar y no recomiendo este lugar. Si va, no piense que toda la comida griega es tan mala como esta.

Ordenó a Souvlaki y Halloumi a través de Ubereats. El Souvlaki vino con papas fritas crudas, y sin ensalada, excepto una carga de cebolla cruda. Promedio de pollo en el mejor. El único "positivo" fue que el Halloumi era tan crudo que pude cocinarlo yo mismo desde cero. Horrible, vergonzoso, etc.

This place serves the best kebabs and Greek food in London! I have been here 4/5 times and never been disappointed.. it tastes like delicious home cooked food and you can tell the chefs put a lot of effort and time and care into each dish made. I would highly recommend!

Ordered a halloumi wrap for £4.50. I saw that there was only two small pieces of halloumi placed on the grill, however the wrap once filled was really lovely, altbough still not convinced about the price for what I got. I usually pay £3.50 for a falafel & halloumi wrap in Leather Lane. The takeaway restaurant is a little cramped but there a few tables and chairs if eating in. I'd like to see some more veggy options so that I can try other dishes.

We visited Soyvlaki Land to grab a quick bite to eat on our way to the football. The food was freshly made, was a decent portion size and was quite tasty. We had a halloumi souvlaki which cost £4.50 and the chicken and pork mix souvlaki cost £5. They both contained chips and salad. Soyvlaki Land is located on Homerton Road, Hackney, which is easily reached by London overground or a number of buses. There isn't much room to eat in but as it was good value we will be back again for another takeaway.

It was all fine apart from the dips- which were over priced and out of a massive tub they had bought... what a shame 2 small pieces of Halloumi in the wrap, one sausage in the other wrap. £2.50 for one dip. Total £15 for a meal that really should have been £10. But the silver lining was friendly staff and was quick.
