Sovrano Cafe in Nuneaton and Bedworth

Love it here. Had the starter sharer platter of meats cheese bread etc absolutely huge and so filling. Great service, have been a few times now great every time.

The service and quality of food served was very satisfactory . However, when I went settle the bill I saw a sign advising me that if I paid by cash I would receive a 20% discount. I am fairly sure that this is illegal, I am also fairly sure that someone in authority should be checking their tax returns and accounts declaring their earnings. They are effectively overcharging the card paying customers to encourage their income in non-auditable cash, I would check their stock purchases against their declared sales. I will not be returning to this restaurant on principle. One way or other someone is being ripped off, it is either you the card payer or you the tax payer.

Called in to Savranos whilst in Nuneaton today. I had the Pollo Arabiatta and my wife the Lasagne. Both meals were first class, surpassing my expectations. We normally usually call in for a coffee on a Saturday but this meal has given me food for thought as to places to eat out. Staff as always extremely friendly and the portions were definitely value for money. Will be back for a meal sometime soon.

Nice environment and it’s so relaxing,staff was attentive and service was quick having pizza and my friend have omelette it was delicious perfectly cook also cofee was good recommend for family

Took my mum for breakfast on Saturday morning, the cafe was very busy and there was a lovely atmosphere. We both had an English breakfast and cappuccino and couldn’t fault it, food was cooked to perfection and was delicious, the staff were lovely and very helpful, will definitely be returning.

The best cafe in town . Great staff, always welcoming, lovely coffee and friendly atmosphere.

Don't bother going after six pm as they won't serve you because they shut at seven pm.otherwise the food is good and the coffee is not bad at all and is popular for breakfast so I'm told

Amazing food, very good quality. We shared a pizza and panni, even for us, the portions very lsrge. Will definitely be back.

Visited this morning for breakfast with a friend. On the positive side, the service was good. The food however was less than average. I ordered the scrambled egg and beans. I am not sure how the eggs were cooked but they definitely were not scrambled. I also asked for a half of a tomato from the full English and said I would pay for this. A splodge of tinned tomato was dollops on my beans. It was advertised as fresh. The toast which arrived was anemic to say the least. It had hardly seen a toaster. My friends full English was adequate. My coffee was good. I have used this cafe before for breakfast, but will not be rushing back.

This is our go to breakfast venue. Always good, always fresh and excellent staff. Good value as well.

We pop in on a regular basis as it is good value for money and as fussy as I am the food is great there. If you’re partial to a latte their’s is a must. The customer service is above and beyond especially from Marc he has a natural talent to make you feel like you’ve known him for years, you’re made to feel at ease and if you are particular in anyway they have no problem amending anything you require. Definitely worth a visit!

Popped in for lunch - best to get there early as it fills up rather quickly. Staff are friendly and helpful and could not do enough for us Plenty to choose from on the Menu and excellent Service.

Went for coffee and a "bun". Staff were brilliant/lovely/helpful, could not do enough for us. The coffee and "buns" were top notch too. OK, not cheap perhaps by Nuneaton standards ( said nicely) but best place we have been in a while in that particular town.

We stopped there whilst walking through Nuneaton thinking we would get a quick bite to eat for lunch. The only positive I could find is that the coffees were nice, the rest was poor at best. We were welcome by being told to find ourselves a seat. The table hadn't been clean and has traces of sauce and food left presumably from the previous customer. We ordered 2 crocque monsieur and a bowl of cheesy pasta for the little one. Our crocque monsieur did not have any bechamelle sauce but tomato sauce, melted cheese and ham making it taste like a pizza... Weird... The kids pasta were dry Spaghetti without any butter or cheese. When we asked for cheese, we were told they only had parmesan but yet had melted mozzarella on our so called crocque monsieur... The pasta returned with a teaspoon worth of parmesan. Very poor for £6.50. We asked for a spoon to eat the pasta and still waiting for it now. Overall a very poor experience. We will certainly not return and had the impression that the chef could not care less. We had the impressio

Went an hour and a half before they closed, plenty of time to order and eat right? We were made to order straight away, didn't have enough time to pick what we wanted and we made that clear, they didn't care so we order something random. We were left feeling uncomfortable and like an inconvenience to them, the atmosphere was not welcoming at all. When another person came in to join us, our waitress look at them with disgust, imagine walking into a restaurant and being instantly stared at like you've committed a crime. Had to pay £5 for water! Saw waitress talking on the phone while on the floor cleaning. Food was ok but didn't end up finishing because we felt uneasy, definitely not a relaxing place to eat with friends. Rude staff, felt like a prisoner being judged by the prison warden. Nice plant and decor tho, but that's got nothing to do with the staff running the place

I have been walking past this cafe for a very long time and today was the day I visited! I ordered the toasted bacon sandwich with cheese and tomato on the top & daughter had margarita pizza. The bacon was cooked to my liking, the cheese was nicely toasted and not overdone and it actually filled me up. Daughter's margarita pizza looked quite delicious and she thoroughly enjoyed it. I would definitely visit this location again and customer service was to a very high standard

What a really nice little cafe…or possibly bistro (?). Not entirely sure what constitutes a bistro but I think I’m going use it! Sounds classier than cafe at any rate! First time I’ve actually been in here and I was really impressed. It’s got it’s own identity, it’s clean and the staff were polite and friendly but more importantly, the food and drink is fantastic! Admittedly I only had a panini and a cappuccino but boy, was it a good panini and cappuccino! Tasted so much better than the panini you get from the chain places, Costsa, Cafe Nero etc…freshly made with tasty ingredients and actually felt like it was made by somebody who actually cared what the customer thinks! I would of given them 5 stars but I can’t stand the easy listening jazz music they were playing (does anyone really need a Harry Connick Jnr wannabe murdering a Dire Straites classic while you’re trying to eat?!) but that’s just personal taste and to be fair Iron Maiden would have ruined the ambience! So next time you’re in Nuneaton town centre and are feeling peckish, ignore the big chain names and pop in here, you won’t regret it!
