Absolutely terrible- it was really empty - my husband asked the waiter when ordering the food to pronounce his choice - the waiter said ‘ i don’t know how to ‘ bad start. The food was terrible and I felt ill all night .,,

Our first visit to Amore Mio Restaurant. We were met at the door and taken to a table for the four of us ,all adults, and a drinks order was taken ,later a food order for starters. The starters were really good and plenty of it..,as was our main meal, all served and presented within a good time. Later having viewed the sweet menu, we all decider to have a different sweet all were amazing.. What a great Restaurant. These two young guys who run the restaurant deserve encouragement the work very hard and very courteous. Will certainly visit again.

Visited here for the first time tonight , and and was very impressed, the food was AMAZING! Litturaly couldn't fault it and the service was incredible, it's not much to look at from the outside but the moment you step inside it deffently shows its a hidden gem. I shall be back!

Best italian restaurant in the area.

I have dined at Amore Mio several times with lots of different people; family and friends. The menu is limited compared to other Italian restaurants I have been to but this is a very small criticism. The food is amongst the best Italian I have had in the UK. It makes a change to find a chef who can actually prepare and cook sea food without making it too tough to consume. The pizzas have put me off having supermarket or large chain versions. Staff are polite and service is very good. I would strongly recommend a visit.

Visited this restaurants many times since it opened almost 3 years ago , latest visit May bank holiday weekend. Yet again food was absolutely fabulous.. cooked fresh & to perfection. Had salmon pasta & received a generous portion with a sauce that is to die for. Never had a bad meal here, one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever visited , & I have visited many, including in Italy but this takes some beating. Very friendly staff & willing to amend dishes to suit individual tastes. Just a shame it’s never very full. This restaurant needs more customers & I guarantee if you visit once you will be back again. Don’t be put off by the location as it’s beautiful inside .

We had the most delicious meal for two at Amore Mio on Saturday 4th May. The food was deliciously tasty, well presented and served by a waiter who knew his food, was not over bearing but who was polite. Amore Mio is a little gem, hidden away with a great choice of starters, mains and desserts. We will definitely be returning here and would not hesitate to recommend the restaurant.

Nice local Italian mid-priced restaurant that's a welcome addition to the eating options in the area. Friendly welcome from the staff. Service a little slow but that's in part due to everything being cooked to order. Visited with friends and we were all impressed with our meals - from home-made lasagne to grilled chicken breast in a lovely sauce served with excellent herb seasoned vegetables. Would we go back? Yes

I went with a friend. Neither of us had been before. The restaurant is well-presented, spacious, and very clean. Food was absolutely beautiful and obviously made fresh. It's quite expensive and the service was very slow. We spent well over 3 hours in there. Although it's expensive, I'd certainly say it's worth it. Just the speed of service that let them down.

My husband and I ate at Amore mio Ristorante last night and we had a fantastic meal. I had duck followed by creme brulee and a cocktail, my husband had chicken followed by a chocolate pudding. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. Don't be put off by the exterior of the building or the area, inside the restaurant is superb. We would definitely go again if we were in the area and we strongly recommend it.

We've been there a few days ago and all I can say was really nice ! Warm place, delicious food and the staff was nice! I really recommend this place and we will definitely come back again !

Honestly, best restaurant in Nuneaton hands down, been now on 3 separate occasions and blown away each and every time. Not only is the food incredible (it really is amazing) but the cocktails are to die for. Not one thing was a miss which has been the case each time I have visited. Easily my newest favourite spot for an affordable but luxurious dinner. The staff couldn't be any nicer, so polite! I have not even one bad thing to say, I will definitely be returning.

My son treated me and my husband to a meal after Christmas and the food was delicious 😋 the service was excellent 👌 highly recommended.

I visited this restaurant on a Friday night. Great restaurant with amazing Italian food. The seafood spaghetti was full of prawns, mussels and calamari. The staff were friendly and attentive. 10/10

I had the lasagna take out from here, it took a little longer than I expected but gave them a call and the driver turned up within 10 minutes. The food was absolutely amazing and I will definitely be ordering again.

We went as a group of 8 to celebrate two birthdays, and it was great from the minute we arrived, a happy birthday sign at the table, waiter’s that joined in with banter and took pictures, lovely food and making the birthday boy and girl feel special. Will definitely return and recommend.

This place is a real hidden gem in Nuneaton. Pasta and pizza are some of the best I've had in the local area, and the menu has a great selection of dishes. Highly recommended!

My wife booked this reservation arrived friendly greeting and showed to our seats. Staff were friendly and attentive, but best of all the food was excellent. We did not opt for starters I had an excellent lasagne and my wife had the risotto, both served and v hot and very tasty. We also had afters and a bottle of wine, overall an excellent evening, Nuneaton needs places like this give it a try Will we return definitely

A nice little spot in the unexpected part of Nuneaton. Fresh Italian food with a cozy ambiance. Limited menu but everything is made to perfection. The pizza was delicious. Calamari starters were fresh and crispy. Portion sizes were good. Would recommend.

The food is excellent, really great quality and could eat and eat here! The service is brilliant too, servers are polite and food brought out timely. However, my only issue is with the staff relations. We have been here 3 times now and each time management have quite loudly spoken to staff about problems in ear shot and on today's occasion we heard shouting from the kitchen, there was also a discussion between servers that seamed to get quite loud and heated. So as amazing as the food and service is, unfortunately these things make us feel very uncomfortable and reluctant to come back.

Use to be 10/10 but they’ve changed the whole menu now with lesser ingredients used in their cooking.

We came on a weekday night so it wasn't very busy and we were very excited given the rave reviews. Staff were friendly enough but I would say the older gentleman who looked after us doesn't quite understand the subtleties of hospitality or the customer experience. The food was all perfectly edible, but in no way resembled "authentic" Italian food. Italian food should be flavourful because of the fresh ingredients and seasoning used and nothing in the meals we ate suggested the chef had even heard of fresh herbs. It's the type of food I might expect to be served to tourists in a low-budget Spanish resort - Nuneaton deserves so much better!

Our first experience of this restaurant, which we found out about purely by chance! Lovely light & airy restaurant, with tasteful decor. So pleasant to find a place in Nuneaton that has tables beautifully set out, with linen table cloths & napkins. Nice, concise menu. Very pleasant service & faultless food. Will definitely be back.

We visited this lovely Wounderful resturant this Evening for my husband's birthday. Really exceptional, the outside of the restaurant does not do justice to the interior, which is clean, modern and fresh. Staff were extremely helpful and freindly and the food is divine. Truely and honestly one of the best resturants we have visited. We will certainly be back again soon.

Visited by chance as it was round the corner from my B&B. Excellent food which was well presented.The staff were attentive and welcoming.. Worth a visit if you're in the Nuneaton area.

Don't be put off by the exterior, the interior is bright, stylish and modern. We were a party of six and all starters and mains were excellent, well presented and plenty full. I can't vouch for this service to be offered every time, but a couple in our party were even driven home by the staff when only a four seater taxi arrived. Five Star service all round.

First time visit and was very impressed. The food was great and the staff were friendly. I thought that the prices were very fair and reasonable and already looking forward to our next visit.

The best pizza I have ever had. This puts any restaurant in a 50 mile radius to shame. Perfect base and not skimpy on the toppings either. The price is fair given the way the world is, the bill can easily rack up but it is worth it for the quality of the food, just worth being aware of that. The staff are really friendly, very professional, make you feel at home and always have a smile. The tables are very nicely set and the square knives are a different touch (you'll see what I mean when you go) Overall, an amazing experience, can't wait to go back, this has more than replaced Dominos.

Fabulous evening we had a party of 16 for a double birthday 50 and 66 all the starters arrived same time as did the mains great atmosphere and first class service,seated in a nice warm room as it was January we had a fantastic family evening,Defoe will return, highly recommend 5 stars .

We have been meaning to visit this restaurant since we moved in to the area and it certainly didn’t disappoint. What a fantastic find, the front of the restaurant is deceiving to what’s inside, large and nicely laid out area. Terrible food. Not Italian food in the slightest. I rarely and unable to finish food as even if it’s not that great I don’t waste food. I struggled to eat the food here. There is just something off with the food, it’s not cooked authenticity but also I have a feeling that there is a lack of hygiene or food saftey.

Excellent food and service, bit quiet in there for a Friday night, but we were a table of 11, if there was only 2 or 4 of you, you'd need a bit more going on, but our waiter was extremely hospitable, helpful and polite. Amazing value for money.

Myself and partner very much enjoyed our first visit to this restaurant. The decor and furnishings are modern and stylish. The staff are welcoming, friendly and the service was overall attentive. The menu offers a wide range of authentic Italian dishes. Our choices, king prawns for starters, steak and salmon for mains, were delicious! Only negatives, chips/potatoes or garlic bread are not included in mains and have to add on as side dishes which adds onto cost. Higher end dishes are on the expensive side, in region of £19 with additional £4 for chips, or £4 for garlic bread. For frequent visits we will probably opt for cheaper pasta dishes at around £11. After finishing our main, the service wasn’t attentive and we struggled to attract the attention of a waiter to serve us deserts. Also complimentary chocolate with the bill would be a nice gesture. Our table was in the centre of the restaurant which felt quite exposed. For a more intimate experience, it was Valentine’s, a table on a lower floor or in a corner would have been better. We were also sat next to a family with two young children, one who burst out crying at 10pm, which spoiled the ambiance. But overall would highly recommend.

We enjoyed our first visit to this quality restaurant which is a gem find. Positives: Excellent food, good range of dishes on offer, ample portions, and well presented. Very stylish decor and comfortable seating. Welcoming friendly staff. Negatives: Starter of King Prawns delicious but only 3 prawns included. Very good sauce but would benefit from a slice of bread to soak it up. Main meals come with vegetables but chips are not included and have to be ordered as a side dish, so increased price of £3.95 each. Service lacked attention after our mains were served. We were not offered a dessert menu and had to try and attract attention of waiters which took some time. Pleasant atmosphere on Valentine’s though we were seated in the centre of the restaurant next to a family with two young children, one was crying at 10pm, which lessened our romantic experience. Tables situated on lower floor are more suitable for an intimate and relaxing experience.

My husband took me here for valentines day, we have been meaning to come for some time. I'm so glad we did, the food was amazing, we both had the fillet steak and my blue cheese sauce was gorgeous. Staff we really nice and attentive and we will definitely be back.

The best Italian restaurant in Hinckley Nuneaton, impeccable service and excellent dishes. I tried the angry one, pasta cooked just right and with perfect seasoning, a white pizza, light and good dough. The wine list is unique, there are very particular wines that are not often found in the UK. I also tried the tiramisu and coffee, all very good. Definitely recommended.

We had a party of 14 the table was laid out in a nice warm area , we all had starter’s which arrived together as did the main course and desert. Our second visit here having found it by chance. We went for my birthday meal and had a fabulous time. The food is amazng, good vegetarian options too. So good we have booked again for more of us on my wife's birthday. Steak cooked to perfection, great wines, we would all have happily swapped for each others dishes (apart from the veggie not going for the meat of course!).

Do not judge until you walk through the door, firstly you are welcomed by some friendly staff, while being greeted look around, beautiful. You well then be seated, again carry on looking. Atmosphere is lovely, peaceful music. Then order, cooked to how you like…… As for the rest, you judge, never been before and 10/10, defo will be back, thanks! made our night.

Went in to try a pizza after reading the reviews which are highly exaggerated as ''the best'', imho its a mediocre restaurant with a lot of staff that are unorganised and arguing in front of customers about an order they messed up I only ordered a take out pizza, despite not being very busy it took about 40 minutes(15min drive, 25 min wait inside) Owners were very nice but instead of trying to help their staff they were busy sitting with friends/customers Inside of the restaurant is nice although needs a little clean as few bits were not up to the standard, front windows for example looked like they have not been cleaned since the restaurant was opened Finally, the pizza! I thought after such a long wait now I'll enjoy this 4.5 star reviewed ''a must try'' pizza Although nice and hot it was a standard pie you can get few shops further down for less and much quicker A simple pizza with lack of ambition you can get in any supermarket these days for £3.99

We ate here last night, 2 of us had the sea bass with bisque sauce and mussels and the other 2 had chicken with a creamy sauce. Lovely food and setting, staff very friendly, well worth a visit we will go again.

First visit here . We love Italian food and to have it on the doorstep was even better . At first glance the restaurant looks tiny but step inside and it’s beautifully laid out . spacious and inviting . The staff are so welcoming and attentive. The food was exceptional . No complaints at all . Will be making this our number one place to go from now . Highly recommended

The booking was hassle free, straight forward through the restaurant's website. The confirmation email was sent to me in a timely manner. The food was well presented and very tasty. The menu has good selection and well priced. Portions are big, definitely value for money. The wine selection was good too. Staff are friendly, polite and attentive. The restaurant area is modestly and tastefully decorated, not over the top. If you fancy a nice, lovely Italian dinner and what to try something different from what the usual chain restaurants offer, this is the place for you!

Visited Amore Mio Monday 19 Sept as a party of 10 and was greeted with a warm welcome and all seemed good, staff were very friendly and it appeared to be going well. There were some issues when it came to the ordering of the food which shouldn't have been a problem as apart from our party of 10 there was only a table of 2 also in the restauarent so I dread to think how they would cope when and if they were really busy. Moving on from this I was quite dissapointed with my Penne Salmone as it was basically a plate of Pasta in a sauce with the tiniest hint of Salmon and the other meals were of a very small portion which is probably a good thing as most of the party suffered illness once we were home during the night . This consisted of sickness, vomiting and diarrhea an outcome that spoiled the occassion we had celebrated earlier, for this reason I for one will not be returning to this establishment and urge others to be cautious if they decide to do so. I don't usually place reviews and prefer to address issues with the establishment at the time but unfortunately as you can see the aftermath of our experience occured once we were home. Amore Mio, you need to really up your game if you wish to survive as a business. After further research I notice previous positive reviews were posted before a change of ownership/director, and my conclusion is one of a restaurant merely with an ITALIAN MENU not an authentic ITALIAN RESTAURANT.

I was hoping to be writing a good review and not have to post a bad review but feel my experience needs to be shared. I dined with the restaurant on Thursday evening, food was lovely, staff lovely, it was a pleasant evening and I left with the intention of writing a good review and returning in future to eat there again. However, during Thursday night I awoke early hours to vomitting. The lady had mentioned earlier in the evening that the tirramasu was not on the menu for dessert due to a fridge breaking so I can only assume that maybe the chef had tried to salvage some of the other food from the fridge. I had seafood pasta for main so potentially the seafood. I did try to get in contact with the restaurant the next morning and sent them a message as I'm sure they didn't intentionally mean to give me food poisoning and I thought they should know so that they could investigate the issue so no one else became sick on the Friday evening but the restaurant didn't reach out to me or acknowledge my message. I had only eaten my usual cereal for breakfast that morning so there's nothing else that could have caused me to be sick. I personally couldn't return to the restaurant in future due to this experience as it did make me quite sick and I'm only just starting to feel better today, but hopefully the restaurant can assess things going forward in future.
