Saints Bar and Restaurant in Nuneaton and Bedworth

I went here with my toddler and I for once could just relax whiles she was playing in the play area. Usually I would only have 30 minutes to relax and eat but I was there for 2 hours while she was playing. More places should do this.

Great place to sit for tea and cake and chat, friendly staff and volunteers

They have a lovely program where you can buy a meal for those in need. Also the tea is strong and perfect and the omelette delicious!

Nice little community space. was there on a course. Friendly staff. Upstairs space is huge. Will be amazing when renovations finished. Downstairs is nice, clean with a large fenced indoor play area.

It's great and lovely to meet new hearing & deaf people. Will go there again every month.

The saints Nuneaton is a great place to visit all Ages family overrated with Church and community Of churches .

Space is extremely large but feels slightly cramped from unfortunate, questionable seating/table arrangement. Refillable tea for £2.50 is good value but there are better places for it. Croissant is the best croissant I've ever had, very buttery interior and perfect flakey exterior. Very friendly waiters but unfortunately wait times for necessities like milk for tea were long. The atmosphere is neutral but omni-accepting.

Love the atmosphere and feel of the cafe, a real sense of community. Food is great too and good value for money. Only downside on our last visit is we booked in advance, however when we arrived our table had been given to another party and were asked to sit in the meeting room. We managed to make our visit work but this was a tad frustrating at the start of our get-together.

Although the atmosphere can be lovely most of the time, the level of service is appalling. Order a breakfast and wait 45 minutes for it to arrive. Or order a coffee and wait 25 minutes for it to arrive. We tried it a couple of times as though it may have been a bad day but no it's just the level of service you get. I think they're popping to the local farm to slaughter the pig, or to the plantation to get the coffee beans. And when you raise the issue of wait times the waitress will happily throw a 50p refund at you across the table. While giving you a foul look. The staff need alot of training in customer service and the cook needs to learn to cook.

A hidden gem of a cafe, the coffee and cakes are great, they also serve an amazing breakfast. The cafe has an area for small children to play (under your own supervision) and has a great chilled vibe. It's like a posh London cafe in the middle of Nuneaton.

They're are wonderful I'm here! Go visit!

Good food,pleasant staff and folk doing craft

I visited Saints with my Guide Dog puppy in training to give him the experience of visiting a busy social situation. The staff were welcoming and very friendly. They offered a bowl of water to my puppy. Very accessible place.

Thanks to the owner of the restaurant for such a cozy, friendly, beautiful place. thanks to the staff, very polite. I will say even more, the staff was so kind that I even began to feel awkward. Thanks to everyone who leaves donations in this cafe. I recommend this place to people who want to relax with children.

Nice Staff! Really helpful and no Stress talking to them, you can joke around and they understand everything by laughing together, plus there is an Area for Kids to Play, Table Service how much I have seen too. Not big Shop, but Food is Tasty!

Great place! A little play area for smaller kids to play in (toddler age) Lego club on a Saturday. Friendly owners and staff make it a great place to come back to again and again. They put a lot of effort in to this historical building, Keep it up!

A child friendly town centre dining establishment with bonus activities such as LEGO and a play area to keep the children entertained. Friendly staff and affordable prices. Pretty much the only place in Town Centre that I take the kids now. If you ask nicely they may let you see the old dance hall under restoration upstairs - a hidden gem.

Hi I started visiting the saints cafe some time ago its very cool and amazing place I've having small exserbisions And renting the saints cafe a small from time to time a small town cafe that is very pleasant and amazing with art and crafts absolutely amazing food very pleasant atmosphere and beautiful staff and ay fantastic manger David I'm planning to have more small exserbisions Everyone is welcome l Am a working abstract cubism artist living locally and have been working on art projects and I am sharing my exserbisions with two talented crafters I'm whating this to be a local adventure all thow I'm a artists at the moment From home .Peter carre artists 🎨

This has got to be one of best child friendly places in Nuneaton. The atmosphere is casual and there are always activities and events on. Food is a great quality and at a reasonable price. I can't recommend this place enough.

Novel self service food reminds me of a hotel/motel breakfast bar and it works well. The staff are really helpful and it's a very pleasant place to meet up with friends. I can definitely recommend Saints.

Went in on 28th January to see friends art exhibition. Felt more welcome second time round. Had a nice lattie. Feel it’s more a family environment. Waiting for an art and craft groups that welcomes single people too of all ages to be set up here. Feel gonna have a long wait.x

First time visit, staff lovely and the food looked great.

Didn't know this place existed! But lovely cafe. There is a small children's play area (I would suggest up to 4 years). What I really like is the small local stalls from homemade soaps to homegrown veg dotted around the place, I think it's a great idea and everywhere should do this! i went in for food and drink with my kids and i had to wait 10 min to get served to a drink and place my order for food as the staff was just standing there talking i should't have to be asked to be served it was really poor customer service and as for the food i had to wait at lease half an hour for it to come out i ordered my children chicken nuggets and chips and i had burger and chips it came out cold not impressed i asked them to take it back and get me fresh food and they said they could only heat it by microwave otherwise id have to pay again it was horrible customer service from chefs and bar staff and im surprised you havent been shout down and as for the cleanness of the restaurant if thats what u can call it i wouldnt even feed my dog in there

Mientras que el menú de cócteles parecía tentadora que decidimos quedarnos con los refrescos y echa un vistazo al menú. PIZZA, muy asequible y tan sabroso!! Realmente impresionados por la comida. Además, el servicio era fantástico, increíblemente amable personal y útil también! Para postre teníamos algunos cafés que no fuera de lo normal pero la estrella evento fue el chocolate y fresa squeezers! Muy bien presentado y muy excelentes para probar. La comida era deliciosa y la música era tan bueno que la pista de baile estaba lleno durante toda la noche. El lugar estaba muy limpio y el personal era completamente hizo todo lo posible para ayudarnos a que sea una noche especial. Desde la organización, para ayudar a decorar, y generalmente asegurándose de que todo estaba ya que quería. Nada era demasiado problema. Recomiendo encarecidamente santos a cualquiera. I booked saints for my 30th birthday, I was asked to pre order my meals due to it being a large group, I was happy to do this but when we turned up I didn't expect to wait over 45 minutes between some people getting there meals and others getting there's, some of my family had finished there meals before others revived there's, I understand that we were a large group but hardly anyone ate together, I would not book a large party here again but I would go for a small group

Me encanta. pensionista se benefician de un 10% de descuento al igual que cualquiera que trabaja en el sector sanitario, enfermeras, etc. Que no vuelva a repetirse en cualquier parte nuneaton. Estaba impecablemente limpio. El personal, bien, ¿qué puedo decir sobre ellos. Son muy amables, te hacen sentir tanto en el hogar, en particular Sandra! Ella es increíble, corriendo por servir y limpiar. Ella pasa por el lugar nota a fondo así como sirve! i live in nuneaton, and have brought guests to Saints twice. the good thing about Saints is that it is a lovely space, well laid out and actually quite well put together (toilets are pleasant, and there are booths, window seats and sofas, depending on your mood.

myself and two more of my friends decided to go for a meal and a few drinks at saints in Nuneaton never again . we walked in to find that there was only one man at the bar we ordered some drinks and then found a table . I had gammon and egg and my two friends had cottage pie with some garlic bread and some chips , after waiting 30mins for food it finally came . The cottage pie came in a big bowl which was to much to a portion it also looked like a dog bowl , and my gammon steak was a little round thing the eggs where over done , I wish I had asked for a bunger bun to put my gammon steak in the middle of , we was still waiting on are chips and garlic bread . when are chips finally came the waitress with blond hair dropped them on are table and then then the garlic bread came it had big bits of butter all over it. we left half the food and got are money back and went McDonalds. NEVER AGAIN

First time visit for me, my wife has been many times & has always sang its praises. Had a fantastic family meal with our two young girls who were given a little gift from the Christmas tree, the staff were very helpful & welcoming. We took advantage of the pizza deal which was great value. The food arrived very promptly even though it was quite busy & was very good. We will definitely be visiting again when we are in town shopping. A special mention to Leisha & Hayley for excellent service.

Popped in for Saturday lunch. Fairly busy. Ordered slow cooked Vietnamese beef stew, on the assumption that it would have already been cooked and we would receive it pretty quickly.....but no, 40 minutes later and we were still waiting.....Others were also waiting a long time. Not sure what the problem was. Stew was fine, nothing special but lots of tender beef. Couldn't work out which bit was Vietnamese though!

On a nite out in Nuneaton popped in here for cocktails! Dan is your man to make them! Great bar man, what I like is the cocktails are made right in front of you so you can see what hoes in them! Also they are £4 each! Def be back next time out here!

Visited on Friday with my wife and father in law. Fantastic fish and chips, they had pizza, great value for money and the staff are very friendly and helpful, would go again and would recommend.

We called in recently at very short notice, There was 16 of us and we were out for a colleagues leaving do.The restaurant we had booked had power supply problems so we needed to find somewhere within walking distance. We called Saints and they fitted us in immediately , we were served straight away and the food was excellent, the meat was from the very popular local butchers Frank Parkers which added to the experience. The added bonus was that after the meal Saints were running a silent disco evening which I have to say was a great way to end the night, very very funny. We will definitely be visiting againStu and the UK Triumph Team

Have been here with family twice before; found it to be good value for money and reasonable service. However, after today we won't be going back. We ordered food and drinks. A glass of water was available immediately but we waited almost half an hour for the remaining 3 drinks. The waiter did apologise when he brought them over and did offer to replace a coffee which he was clearly aware had been left standing for at least 10 minutes and was, by this time, tepid. The food took a while to arrive and when it did, the tear and share bread was not cooked properly - still dough in the middle. To be fair, we did not need to complain as the waiter was again proactive and refunded the cost of the bread, arranged a complimentary round of drinks and replaced the tear and share bread. Unfortunately, we waited for at least another half an hour for the bread but had to leave before it arrived. Although any issues were dealt with we won't be returning.

Was in Nuneaton and stopped off in this bar for a few drinks. Very friendly staff and nice décor, the drinks were a very good price too. With a good atmosphere, nice food and music this is like the level above Weatherspoons!

Went with some friends for a catchup and food. Granted it was a weeknight but on arrival the place was empty. The people behind the bar did not seem to know what they were doing or where anything was. Went to order food and was told they had stopped serving as they would be closing soon; it was 5.30pm and the evening menu said 5-9pm! I'm sure the food is great when you can get some but its poor to advertise something you don't follow!

Was absolutely amazed by the value and great food at this place.Going back 20 years £1 for a bottle of larger was good value but today they offer Carlsberg 85p for a bottle!

Once again a lovely family meal at a very reasonable price. The food was delicious, definitely my favourite place to eat.

Such a shame what's happened to the restaurant was absolutely amazing at the start lovely service clean tables not anymore the service Is. bad was waiting for our soft drinks for 25 minuets and it wasn't even busy and men walked in and got served at the bar, the tables are sticky and dirty now with food over the chairs. Also once I had to change a wine glass five times not even joking because of lipstick and food on side of glass :( I really recommended this place and loved it for lunch meals but I think now the managers not there much it's gone down hill one of the best waitress there is an older lady who is still really good thank god that she's still there!! , but some of the new staff are not very happy I feel :/ hope now that a new menus coming the service is better and cleanliness is hopefully better !!! had to leave last time because it was the last straw we moved seats 3 times because of its dirtiness the food is still nice haven't had a problem with that just everything else unfortunately sorry for bad review but I've tried to keep giving it ago but really let down will not be going back anymore would rather pay more for better service and cleanliness and a nicer welcome

Went to saints for the first time one a girly night for my friends 30th birthday, Paton was our waitress. Food and drinks were amazing, wonderful service and great value for money!

We attended a family party at the bar. The staff were friendly and attentive. Restaurant nicely decorated. Food was good though didn't all arrive at once.All in all a very good experience. I would definitely return when visiting Nuneaton again.

I have been saints twice now and on both occasions,I've have left impressed and full, its worth every penny the kids milkshakes are well presented like everything else that was served up. The staff are really polite n u don't feel like u are being rushed to eat ur meal like alot of restaurants.clean,tidy n has baby changing facilities will definately be returning n recommending to family & friends.

My Nieces Christening party was held here and it was a brilliant day from start to finish, the staff here were all very polite and professional and the food was amazing, really enjoyed the pizza and milkshake. I even came back for lunch the tuesday after and was very happy with service and quality of food .

The reception of a family christening was held here, the decor and atmosphere of the place was lovely. However, as the food was ready, it hadn't all been put out at the same time. Therefore various people missed out on some of the food there, due to it being cooked fresh. But overall a really nice place.

We visited this establishment for a family event and found it a great venue. The staff are all very friendly and professional. The pizzas are cooked in a traditional wood oven which made the difference. The drinks are reasonabley priced and they do a very good range of nonalcoholic cocktails. Its a big place and there is plenty of space.

Been here a few times now. The staff are always pleasant. The pizza was ok but thought it had way too much tomato base on taking away from the flavour of the pizza. The sides are really good sizes. The flatbread was nice but the carbonara seemed like a packet mix which is a shame because carbonara is so quick and easy to make from fresh. I like the layout of the place. We will definitely go back when we are in town.

Called in today as our 8 year old grandson said he would like to have lunch there - as he is a picky eater we decided to try as he said the food was good AND they did milkshakes. We were impressed by the waitress - who served our food and drinks and was polite and asked whether we needed anything else. However the burgers were awful - I have never eaten anything like them - the meat had not been minced and was chunks of meat formed into a ball - our grandson didn't eat it - said that it wasn't the same ! The taste was quite odd too - we ate some of the lunch - drank our drinks and left - we won't be going in again. The bonus was that the Grandson's meal was free - one less wasted money!

My family have had a few meals here as we find it is great value, the food is tasty and the staff are friendly. We've visited on a Saturday and Sunday lunchtime and have had no trouble finding a table for our party of 8 without booking. I don't why it isn't busier! They have a weekend offer where kids eat for free when an adult pays for a main course. Some of the main courses are only £5 and you get the kids meal deal for free, which is a main, drink and ice cream.The food is freshly made to order and sometimes service on drinks and food can be a little slow. However, the staff make such a fuss of our children that the kids insist that we sit at a table right next to the open plan kitchen so that they can talk to the chef as he's making their pizzas, which makes the time fly by for them!

Went for a nice meal with my girl, before going away for a week.Saints was open for business and not rammed but equally not empty.Meant we had a range of tables to choose where to sit.For a hot evening the place was airy and bright.The service was good, very unpretentious waiter who timed his visits to the table well and kept us informed of our order / the little wait for side order of fresh hot tasty chips.Definitely suggest a visit.Meaty pizza was definitely meaty .Well done AKEEM. You made our visit memorable.Some excellent live guitarist/singer too. Unexpected romantic touch.

My second visit today, food and service just as good second time around. Deffo the place to grab a meal or drink in Nuneaton.

Burger tasted like a meatball and was over done and the bun was burnt. I've been to this restaurants may incarnations this was the worst meal I had.

Had along day at work yesterday and decided we would both eat out. Yet again the service in this establishment was dreadful. It was 35 minutes for the meal to arrive, and that beat the drinks even though we had asked 10 minutes earlier about them. Will never return to this place it was dreadful.

Everytime I come in this place the staff are so friendly and accommodating!!! The cocktails are beautiful with such a range to choose from. I've had lunch here a few times and always satisfied especially with the burgers as they are handmade... Place to be if you are round nuneaton and fancy a drink and bite to eat!!!

I'm a vegetarian and a very fussy eater so I found it difficult to find something I would like but the staff were wonderful and told me I could request something different. The service was wonderful and friendly and the food was lovely. Along with a nice setting. My partner also had a meaty pizza and she enjoyed it greatly. The cocktails were also very fresh and may have been a few minutes wait but definitely worth the wait.

Popped in to Saints on a midweek afternoon for lunch. Food was OK, though nothing particularly special. My chicken was a little dry, though chips were OK, and my dessert of jam sponge and custard was fine, if rather uninspiring. No table service so you need to order at the bar. Mains arrived quickly but desserts took what seemed like an age to arrive. Our server didn't know the difference between chicken and steak, which didn't fill me with confidence! A bit disappointed with the overall cleanliness – floor was dirty, menus were grubby and so was some of the cutlery. Given how quiet it was I would have expected the place to be spotless. Food is not cheap, and in my opinion there are far nicer alternatives in the same price range.

My partner and I have visited this site a few time over the last few months and have found that it depends whose working to the service you receive. I visited once and was asked to pay over £6 for a pint of lager... Whilst a few days earlier it was only just over £3...I haven't been in to eat since the new head chef came in but have heard mixed reviews, but when the old Head Chef was in the pizzas and blue cheese burgers were amazing and would recommend! The waitresses are always fantastic but the cocktails have gone down hill over the last few months?

I have been here several times at lunch and in the evening. The food is fresh and well cooked. I love the chicken salsa flat bread for lunchtime. We also won 'free pizza' this week and yet again the food was lovely. There was a fantastic musician (hopefully he is a regular) playing acoustic guitar and the ambience was great. I agree pizzas could do with a bit more topping but taste wise it was delicious. My only complaint is that maybe put more staff on at busy times as the wait was long. Saying that though, the staff were friendly and really helpful. Back next week for more

Went to this local bar/restaurant last night with a friend who had "2 free pizzas" voucher just for liking and sharing their promotion on Facebook. I thought there might be a catch......but No, not at all. We were seated near the musician who was singing with just a guitar and he was excellent. He gave the place a great, socialising, chilled atmosphere. Had to wait a little time to order but that's more than understandable considering how busy they were with all the free pizza patrons. Pizza, garlic bread and fries came quite quickly and all very nice it was too. Great food, great atmosphere and great, friendly staff - especially the barmaid with the wrist bandage. I had a few bottles of Carlsberg that was on promo for, get this, 85p a bottle. All in all , a great night and even excluding the free pizzas, the prices are lower than most other places around but with better surroundings and quality. Gonna be my regular from now on. Oh, and every Tuesday is "buy 1 pizza get 1 free" and they have loads of other great offers on different days. I thouroughly recomend it to anyone. Cheers Saints.

I love saints and never will I have a bad word said about it, from them being accommodating for my husbands 30 to tonight. We had won 2 free pizza , and we were made to feel very welcome , the staff where polite , the atmosphere was amazing , even the guy singing. Headed out for a midweek chill with my wife and was not disappointed. It's nice to find a place in town that isn't a chain which offers proper service from friendly and polite staff who cannot do enough for you. Had the wood fired pizzas and on previous visit a handmade burger which in both accounts did not disappoint. Always trying hard to please and incentivise the local community with offers via social media. Cannot fault. Btw Birra Morreti is my new favourite beer!! Bootiful. Will definitely be back. Cheers

Ive been Saints about 5 times in the last 2 months and every time i go the food is fantastic and the Staff are lovely and helpful. Every time i go i have something new off the menu be that carbanara with tanglateli (however you spell it) even Frankie and Bennies only give you spagetti! Or one of their huge burgers! 8ozs of mince! That is one tasty, filling burger especially with bacon cheese and mushrooms. I always have a side of galic bread now, MADE IN HOUSE! It is gorgeous if sometimes a little lacking on garlic butter the bread itself is delightful. I havent even started on the pizzas yet of which all are hand made in house aswell, ive only had 2 pizzas so far but both have be fantastic, they are big, they are tasty and they are cheap, especially with the 2 for 20 with a bottle of wine deal! I will be coming back and next time i think ill be trying the oh so tempting ribs you serve on a thursday. Dont stop what your doing!

Went to Saints for lunch today with my husband, daughter and 2 grandaughters. My daughter and I had the chicken burger and chips ( how big was that chicken breast? ) we really enjoyed them. Husband had the home made burger and chips.... again ( how big ) and the bonus was the girls had a big pizza chips and beans each... FOR FREE.... staff were great and the barman Ben was ok... just joking.... Ben was great.... will visit again. Thank you.

Been here a number of times and staff are very friendly, the food has always been brilliant, they have tried and tested classics as well as their own original recipes, and they also have no problem changing something on the plate if you don't like it, when you order any main meal the kids eat free, which also includes drink and ice cream!Brilliantly made fresh cocktails and decent prices on drinks, regular special offers, and last minute offers on Facebook. Definitely my favourite place, day or night!

We went into saints bar on Monday lunch time just after 12pm was quite empty ordered our food and waited ages we got our food after 40 mins and I had to go and ask where it was.. Food was good when it did arrive then our table was not cleared all the time we sat and I could even tell you if they did puddings ? . Other 2 tables also complained about waiting a long time cannot imagine what it must be like when your busy ... Very disappointed....

Ive been to Saints twice in the past month, once for a private function with my sons football transfer and once on a Friday night out with friends. The decor is lovely and there is a nice atmosphere. On both occasions we had pizza and the usual sides and all good value and nice tasting grub. On the Friday night we had the £20 deal (2 pizzas,a side and a bottle wine) which arrived quickly. Staff were all friendly and the cocktails were delicious (2 for £7 if I remember, had had a few by then!) Nice to see a venue in Nuneaton that is actually worth going to, we need more places like this in our town where you can go as a couple, with friends or kids

Me and my girlfriend thought we'd try this place not long after it had opened. We went, ordered some drinks and some food, a panini & a carbonara. The food took a while to come out, when it eventually came out the carbonara was with no exaggeration, stone cold. We mentioned it to the waiter and he took it back to be re-heated, but he took the cutlery back with him, then never brought any back out... anyway, when I got around to eating the chips with my meal I asked the waitress for some mayonnaise, which was fine until the bottle she brought over was completely empty. At this point it wasn't even annoying it was just hilarious. Anyway we left, they gave us a guilty 25% off of the bill and 25% off discount for any next orders we make. Anyway, we never got around to using that discount not surprisingly. We went again a week or so ago to give it another chance as everywhere else was busy on the Saturday afternoon we went in.We sat down and went to the bar to give them our order, 2 milkshakes which were somewhere in the region of £3.80 each... fish and chips & a panini. We sat down the drinks took about 15 minutes, the waitress apologised and said there was no ice-cream. They were ok, but they weren't £3.80. Anyway, 40 minutes (again, no exaggeration) into waiting for our food to come out we asked the waitress where it was, what was going on & mentioned the problems we had previously eating there, she then snapped my head off, aggressively replying 'Well, when our chef phones in sick at 1 in the afternoon and we've been as busy as we have been its not really our fault. I'll go and see where your food is.' She came back over immediately and apologised for raising her voice and said it was no excuse for how long the food had taken and yet again, took the fish & chips off the bill.Wont be going here again ha ha.

Regularly visit Saints with both friends and my family. Always greeted warmly by the staff who are very efficient and can't do enough for you, the food is consistently fantastic and the cocktails are delicious. The place has real character and a great atmosphere. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending this venue to friends for food or just to drop in for a chilled out late night drink. This place has got it right!!!!

Me and wife come here regularly for breakfast. The staff are so warm and friendly, breakie is beautiful and get value. We started to come here for lunch and evening meals with our grandchildren and are never disappointed! The decor is fresh bright and clean. The staff and so friendly and they go out their way to make you feel comfortable, great with kids, especially the lads on pizzas always talk and show the kids the oven and showing them how to make/where their pizza is, and the food, well what can I say, you can tell it's fresh, no frozen in sight. It's beautiful, may wait slightly longer but so worth it and the sweets are to die for, specially the cheesecake which changes every time we go in and is mouth watering. Best part price it's affordable. Weekends and school holidays kids eat free which is great! Your mad not to make Saints your number 1 place to eat. Wouldn't go anywhere else

Visited a fare few times and the service is brilliant! Food is always cooked to perfection. Nice to come for a few casual drinks as well as a family meal. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a lovely night out. Staff are friendly and are always happy to help. We will definitely be back soon!

I have been to Saints Bar about 6 times now for different occasions including two group meals having more than 6 people. Each time we have had good service and yummy food! I love the pizzas and the carbonara and I like the decor. It's nice to have somewhere like this in Nuneaton.
