Kind of weird tbh... Not sure why they don't but the rolls up so you can eat them. Food is okay - for crispy fried roll is cold and prepared, which means its soft and disappointing. Not awful, just not good. Can't imagine going there twice. Cocktails nice but overpriced, staff friendly enough

Customer service is not so great. When I asked the lady for a bit more say sauce because they barely give you enough with your sushi, she always gives is in a very unfriendly manner and even then only gives you one. I thought she might be having a bad day but has happened more twice

Came here for dinner quickly after work and it was so fresh and delicious. Owner was friendly and food came quickly, highly recommend!

Literally some of the best sushi I’ve ever had! You can’t eat in as it’s takeaway or delivery only but oh my gosh it’s worth it, all tastes fresh and tasty plus tons of vegetarian options when I don’t feel like ordering meat. My go to takeaway for sure

It is the best Sushi & Chicken Katsu Yakisoba I ever had tasted. Freshly made good stuff. Highly recommended.

Salmon sashimi partly frozen. California Maki was nice but tobiko is not the highest quality. Food served on time but not sure I felt they value my custom as they seemed busy.

Went to the shop place an order the lady in the counter said will take extra time to do the order I but I did wait When I arrived at home I do realise she didn’t made the tempura I call and she said she to busy to accept the complain.

First time in Cardiff and decided to try sushi here. We were delighted, tasty and the price was very nice. All the ingredients are fresh and the order was delivered very quickly. Thanks for the pleasure.

Tiny little place, nowhere to seat really, it's more of a pickup place. Great food though, interesting variety. Unlike Wagamama and likes, it seem to serve Chinese/Japanese dishes without European spin to it. Which for me is a refreshing experience.

I placed an order with Sooshi the evening before to be picked up the following day at 12.45pm to celebrate Father's Day. However when we arrived to pick up the order, we were told there was no such order. As a result, staff agreed to give us the food after some time but we would have to now queue and wait. We also ordered food from other establishments which were mostly cold by the time we arrived home with the sushi. Customer Sevice was not great and we felt we were in the way and inconveniencing them! What a cheek!

If you want real sushi, order from here. Sushi shouldn't be stone cold and stored in a fridge like you get at supermarkets. These guys make it fresh and it shows through the food. Will be ordering again for sure. Delicious and the hot dish i got, arrived hot.

Sushi is delicious, but with delivery problems, we ordered sushi, but we do not live in the center, we did not know about this when we ordered sushi, there was nothing written about it, the money was withdrawn. The sushi didn't come. We called the delivery man and said about it, he said it was not my problem.

One of the best sushi in Cardiff hands down! The food they offer are very good value per person and the quality of the sushi itself was amazing! Having the option to add toppings to your sushi, like Japanese mayonnaise and fried onions, for free is also very nice. They have good sets as well if you don’t know what you want :) Whenever we have takeaway sushi it’s always from this place, even friends that come to stay with us want this sushi every time :) 110% would recommend! It’s delicious everytime we have it 🍣

Small shop - the only shop in that area opened on the Christmas day. Unexpectedly good! Food is just like authentic local Japanese food - with reasonable prices! The food in the photo only costs me £22. Good service - staff with great smile and food came in 10 mins. Will definitely visit again when I go to Cardiff!

I am sorry for this bad review but ! Dirty tables out side even a slow time of day, the “chef” worn his gloves when making the food and then when handling the to go bag leaving me with sticky hands! No small cups for soya so not able to use it. Taste well medium at best.

This little shop can destroy any 5 star sushi restaurants easily.i just bought from them the 40 pcs Sushi plate and are the best one I ever had in my life. Definitely I will go back .5 STARTS

I ordered from here for the first time as I didn't have a reservation at the other Cardiff sushi place that I normally order from. The order took 2 hours, I don't know if this was uber eats or the restaurant fault. The quality of the sushi was exceptional, mainly in the freshness and presentation. So far, the best sushi I've had in Cardiff.

I visited here to collect X2 'Too Good to Go' orders but they did not have any food left but forgot to cancel my order. I was really disappointed by this as I had made a special journey here but left with nothing. Very poor customer service indeed

I ordered through Deliveroo and it has been exactly 2 hours and 32 minutes of ''the restaurant is preparing your order'' status. Deliveroo customer service was equally shocked and provided credit vouchers as apology. I am still waiting, the estimated arrival on the food has been pushed to 3 hours since the order has been made. I cannot comment on the food as I believe I will never receive it. I ordered a small platter with 12 pcs of sushi and duck gyoza (both things take minutes to prepare), I wonder how long the wait would be if the order was any bigger.

I love the food but THEY ARE NEVER OPEN whenever i go! I usually like to pick up my food but they NEVER seem to be open when i go during the OPENING HOURS! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!! I adore the food there hence why i keep going back! Opening hours are ridiculous though

I really like this place, friendly staff, good quality food, really good prices, discounts if you work down the bay, bring your work pass! The Sushi is great quality and the staff chatty. This place is ideal for a take out lunch. By far and above my favourite place to get my lunch

I had big dreams about Sushi Day but they made me disappointed! :( I ordered from them as I saw good reviews of them, but I wish I didn't so I put my complaint in words to make other people aware. 1. DELIVERY TIME UNACCEPTABLE: first of all they have 1 hour long delivery time, which is ways more than average - I understand sushi is a complicated food and need time to prepare but I have no idea why do they promise a timescale, if they can't keep it (it was almost 2.5 hours to receive my order!!!). 2. When I chased for my food, they always told me it is with the courier and will be with me within 15 minutes. Well they had been promising it for almost 1.5 hour... so they were NOT AFRAID TO LIE to me 3. When I finally received my order THE FOOD was disappointing as well. - it was messy, unorganised and poorly made. I have ordered before takeaway sushi and they managed to prepare and deliver it properly - it was poorly made - it looked and felt like a 5 minute craft - some fish slices had not a nice smell/taste at all.. I don't say that nothing was nice and eatable but quite a big amount of the food purely wasn't worth for money (AND TIME!) 4 COMPLAINT: Obviously I contacted them with my complain first to give them the chance to explain why did they treated to a customer like this, but they didn't really care about it and closed the case by themselves

The best sushi in South Wales. All freshly made to order however they have a 'factory' near aberdare where I believe they make some of the fillings as it would be impossible to keep up with the demand from this shop. Really friendly staff and great prices, I tend to go in with the aim to buy enough for a week and eat it in a couple of days!

Been getting Sushi here for almost 2 years and it's always amazing. Super tasty and fresh, and the hot food is lovely too. On top of that the staff are lovely, helpful and downright charming. Cannot recommend enough.

Possibly the best sushi I've ever tasted! The lady in the shop was very nice, and without us asking, let our son taste a few of the ice-cream flavours to see which one he liked best, and then let us try a bit of the sushi as well. They also do beautiful origami ear-rings as well.
