Sonny's Kitchen in Poole

First visit this morning. Excellent breakfast. Good quality sausages and bacon. Eggs cooked perfectly, hash browns are crispy. Lovely staff also. Best breakfast I have had for along long time.

Nicely cooked good value breakfasts with good quality ingredients and a friendly team.

10/10 breakfast! Fantastic ingredients and the waitress is so lovely, remembered my Mum from the last time we went! Such good value for money too, would recommend this place to anyone.

Went to sonny's for the first time today wow amazing food not overpriced service from tina was excellent will definitely return.

We popped in here today for breakfast. Amazing breakfast, fresh and hot. Family run business with a lovely welcome, and we had the nicest little (junior) waitress serving us 😀 Thanks guys, we will be back.

Stopped here on our way to town and it was excellent. Standard breakfast was just what was needed. Lovely polite family/staff. Shame it is not nearer to our home. Top drawer. 👏👏👏👍

Whenever we visit friends who live nearby, we visit Sonny’s for a full English breakfast the food is amazing and the staff are lovely. Highly recommend.

Had a large breakfast with bubble and squeak and black pudding on the side and it's all easily the best quality and nicest tasting breakfast I've ever had from a cafe, could eat the bubble and squeek by the bowl full it's that good

Visited today 2 breakfast cost £27 lady who was serving was rude and very abrupt wasn't allowed to sit wherever you like not welcoming at all menu stated stuff she said no you can't have unless you pay extra food sausage was good but bacon was tough you could have built a house with it black pudding was burnt food quality was okay but one slice of toast corners where cut where not needed I only live over the road and see the place all the time when I asked to pay she told me I have to come to the counter 0.5m away from where i sat then walked straight off leaving me there before she accepted my payment weird little cafe wouldn't recommend sadly

Everything about sonny's kitchen is good warm welcome every time and good service cannot fault you will not be disappointed loads to choose from on Menu and chalk boards.

Yes , yes , yes the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time…. Visited Sonnys kitchen after hearing all the great reviews and after stumbling across this cafe on Facebook. I had the breakfast and it was superb. I had the standard size which I thought was Great value for money.

Lovely café, the people are so nice. Great atmosphere, feels really cosy and good food. The milkshakes are amazing!! Cannot wait to come back again :)

Food is great and well priced, staff are always so friendly and talkative, would 100% recommend if you're in the area!

The food is good when it's not soaking in coffee - the packaging for delivery is god awful, if your going to deliver drinks put something like cellophane over the top of the cup! This is the second time I've ordered from here and the drink has completely emptied out of the cup and all over the food. Very disappointed

I have driven past many times but yesterday was my first visit. Excellent place, friendly and efficient service, wonderful choice and great value. We choose Breakfasts, wonderful, all the usual components all tasty especially loved the brown bread and the sausages. I warned the staff we'd be back ;-)

Today I tried Sonny’s pizzas and was as impressed as I have been with the amazing breakfasts I’ve experienced here. Top tier grub

Fabulous breakfast this morning for hubby. My toasty was amazing as always. Its my husband's favourite place for breakfast so went to for his birthday breakfast. Yet again best ever breakfast.

Great little café, lovely decor and great choice of the menu and on the boards both for meat lovers and veggies.....🎉💗🎉 Had the small brekkie and was able to have fried bread instead of toast which was a bonus and a great taste!! Had chips....only downside was I like mine crispy and they were not....tasted great but not crispy...will ask to be crispy next time... SO WILL BE BACK.... ANY CHANCE OF YOU CAN ADD KIDNEYS AND KIPPERS TO THE BREKKIE MENU...AND LIVER AND BACON AND MASH .....YUM YUM?? 😋 💯💕💯

My whole family love coming to Sonny’s cafe . There is always something for one of us . From the most amazing tasting burgers to the best breakfast around . The thing I personally love about Sonny’s is the people that own and run it . The atmosphere is always welcoming and what I feel is important is my children are always welcome there too . Sonny’s is a lovely homely little cafe.

I absolutely love this place. It feels like you’re sitting at you own kitchen table almost. Each time I go there is a set of regulars that it’s nice to say hello too. The breakfasts are so tasty and cooked fresh to order. Each time we have been in we have been made to feel so welcome. Would recommend going in hungry as you’ll certainly be full when you leave. Cannot recommend enough.

Breakfast was a waste of money I understand everyone preference are different I don’t like smoked bacon and this wasn’t stated on the menu,but to be told McDonald’s is down the road and they sell bacon . The attitude of the staff was rude . I could of mention the bread was stale to but didn’t . The staff were not receptive to my comment and seem argumentative . I would not recommend this place !

Just been to sonny’s what a banging cheese burger, it had all the trimmings and the best relish I’ve had for a long time.This is not my first time at sonny’s but every time I’ve been the food and service have always been spot on with the staff always friendly and helpful worth a stop to find out for yourself you won’t regret it

Poor service very slow to receive food ordered.40 minutes is just not good enough.

The owner is despicable of this eatery. Tries to glorify his food when it’s just another cafe out of many. When you have genuine reason to complain he comes back at you and thinks it’s acceptable. My family had genuine reason to complain after a long wait for food (almost an hour) which is not justifiable - busy or not. The owner needs to take responsibility and admit his failures rather than get defensive. Avoid…. Crumbles on Ashley Road much nicer!

Best brekki in Dorset, I've tried em all. Cannot fault the service from Tina or Sonny, food is high quality, wich as you would imagine, may take slightly longer than normal, but you cannot rush perfection.. if you're lookin for something quick and low quality, McDonald's is down the road.

The food is good, but the service is very slow. It’s taken 50 mins to get our breakfast. Getting a coffee also takes a long time when they are busy. Great food but be prepared to wait!!

The standard breakfast here is far more than standard. I had an amazing meal at great value served with a smile. Would highly recommend. Top quality products!

The office i work for took advantage of the Take Away service and all the staff said the Food was excellent. We will certainly be going back.

Popped in for a quick coffee and asked if they had anything vegan? Chef pops out and asked what I’d like - 5 minutes later, an amazing pile of avocado, tomatoes and fresh basil on toast appeared! Absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommend this lovely local cafe ☺️

I was going to give a 4 star review for this lovely little cafe, but one major thing prevents this. There is no customer toilet available (not even for customers with disabilities). We didn't find this out until after eating breakfast. A breakfast which was lovely, by the way (and one we were in the process of recommending to all our friends). However, no toilet really scuppers our future use of this cafe. And we've had to tell friends and acquaintances the same. We were so happy to recommend this cafe otherwise, but now can't. Such a huge disappointment.
