Food was amazing, I had the set menu and there was a lovely selection and a good amount of food. Will revisit in the future

Great Thai restaurant, thoroughly reccomended.

Authentic, fresh, tasty and flavourful Thai food. Loved the old fashioned, wooden decor theme all around the restaurant, the great customer service by the staff and our food was well received by our small group. Sizable portions too and our orders' turnaround time wasn't very long either. We highly recommend their curries, stir fries and soya noodles - we look forward to coming back.

Very tasty food and wonderful service - very kind to let me charge my laptop and phone as I ate a lovely lunch. Look forward to returning once we move to the area!

It used to be a favourite. What a shame, not sure what happened, the quality is not what it used to be. I recently ordered a take away and it was absolutely way below standard: a watery soup and a tasteless chicken dish.

Very happy with the food, it was authentic and flavourful, especially the tom yum. Not easy to find good thai food in London, so I’d definitely recommend this place. The restaurant itself was cosy and comfortable, not to mention good service. Will definitely be back to try more of their other dishes.

Really smashing, had a seafood Panang loaded with diverse shellfish, clams, mussels, squid & more in beautiful authentic sauce. Delicious prawn green curry too, will definitely be back!

Had a very pleasant dinner experience here. Thanks Clive, had green curry with jasmine rice and tom yum soup which are very authentic and the same as local Thai food from my memory. Services are good, food preparation even in busy time is quite fast, atmosphere is relaxing, warm and comfortable.

Had a very pleasant valentine's here. Initially I thought it was a bit expensive, but the food really is extremely good. I had the Panang curry which was delicious, a nice level of spicy for my fairly tame taste buds, and a good amount of chicken, mixed with a few slightly crunchy vegetables (which was perfect for me). My partner had coconut rice with a sweet fried chicken dish, the name of which I forget, but that was also very nice, a good, healthier, alternative if you're a fan of sweet and sour chicken. The staff were also very welcoming, and one of the gentlemen ran after us when we left the restaurant because we'd left one of our phones behind. 5 star experience, thanks for a lovely evening.

I’ve been eating Som Tam food, mainly delivery, for literally decades. It’s consistently wonderful. It would be a sad day in the Askew Road if they ever shut.

Delicious food and drink with the loveliest staff and owner. My only comment would be that it would be great to have some background music for a better atmosphere.

Delicious Tom Yum soup with veg and tofu. Found the restaurant on the off chance, as I was running near by. Service was excellent, owner friendly. And most importantly food was fresh, hot, and reasonably priced. I will be back!

West London undisputed no.1 Thai restaurant and has been for over 20 years!

An absolute gem within West London and my go to for any Thai food! My regular dish is their chicken green Thai curry with coconut rice. I have also tried their pad thai and a number of the soups - all of which were excellent.

I have eaten here once but always order food for pick up as I live across the street. The Pad Thai is one of the best I have ever had and their homemade sweet chili sauce is also one to try whether that's with spring rolls or anything you want really. it's a small intimate neighborhood restaurant and the staff are always friendly. Would definitely recommend for a dinner if your local or not!

My partner and I popped in for dinner recently and had a very pleasant experience. The food was utterly delicious (some of the best chicken satay I've honestly ever eaten) and the service was super friendly and swift. Very highly recommended!

I gave 2 stars , I do give 100 stars for the food yum, I only give 2 stars because of him!!!! the Thai waiter, Not a good time, he was so miserable and grumpy really got on my nerves, stood watching us and looking at the clock, there were nine of us in, that's money. I missed Clive, hes excellent and knows about customer service the other Thai guy did not horrible horrible but the food as always was excellent and it always is this has been my local for over 30 years and I would recommend it but if the thai waiter/server/ is there I don't know if you can have a good time but if clives there you'll have a good time, my personal experience is 30 years of going to that restaurant, so you know it's good food and I can testify

I have been to so many Thai restaurants in London and nothing took me back to Thailand like this restaurant. The food was fantastic and tasted like you are in Thailand. The best way to enjoy it is to share food with friends. The place was nice and cosy. The staff were excellent and made our experience great. I could not have asked for more. Do I go back again? Most definitely yes. It is worth the travel. I highly recommend everything but my favourite was the chicken curry and Pad Thai. Thank you

Little hidden gem! Went in by pure coincidence as the one we targeted closed earlier. Very tasty food, the staff couldn't be any nicer and the atmosphere is warm and cozy.

This restaurant is a real find! The food was delicious and great value. I am vegetarian and they have a really good selection of veggie dishes. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and made us feel at home. We had a fantastic evening at this restaurant and we’ll definitely be back!

Possibly the quietest place I've ever eaten - which from me is a compliment! Seems mainly to cater to locals lunching. Small and standard menu done consistently well. Not great for a lunch date but awesome for a midday noodle break.

Simply love this place we bought a small mews house within walking distance and stumbled upon the genuine Thai restaurant by chance. The atmosphere is always so welcoming and the food is exceptional and we always leave saying we should come up to London more and eat here loads more . Best wishes Hilly , Will and Jamie

Horrendous! Got the lunch deal of spring rolls and pad Thai and the latter was disgusting. Tasted like it had been out of date for a month. So dispointing as this was my first meal since coming back from Thailand. The rude waiter (who was English) didn’t ask how my meal or anything was and just said that will be £9.50 sir! Went to pay by card and went was like ‘oooh sorry we don’t accept card under £10’ . Nonetheless he accepted, considering it was that or nothing. Clueless

I would give this place 0 star's but there is only an option for a 1 star rating. The crispy duck was overfried in oil, the coconut rice was gooey and tasted like tin food, pad Thai was tasteless, mixed starter was exactly what it says on the packet- the sauce was mixed in with the starter - not a separate container. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN THE WHOLE ORDER WAS AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE.... SERIOUSLY DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. THESE PEOPLE NEED TO TAKE A TRIP TO THAILAND .The food doesn't even ressemble Thai food.

Generous & Delicious Went there for a works dinner get together meal. Absolutely enjoyed our time in the cosy atmosphere with warming and generous food that was absolutely delicious!! I chose to have 1/4 duck pancake starter, with seafood yellow curry and spicy seafood fried rice...really yummy and portion we're generous. Definitely recommend popping down if you haven't. Clive and his team we're friendly & attentive...I got my eyes on the tempura seafood next time for starters because that looked phenominal!

I have come here for the lunch menu on several occasions. I can't fault it. Food is fragrant, tasty and generous - 1000x better than some of the big chains in West London. The service is always on point, the gentleman that serves is always friendly, polite, accommodating and pleasant. Well worth the visit, is definently one of Askew Road's hidddn gems.

Thai chefs so the food is pretty authentic. A tad too sweet but I guess this is to suit local tastes. Superb lunch menu and friendly on-hand English guy who serves and looks after the desk. Usually packed on Thurs/Fri so be sure to call in and book a table!

Great food but no customer service when it comes to card payment. When you as a customer, willing to pick up the food, get told that you can't pay with a Visa debit card below GBP10. Was told I should get cash. Well, I did not and they lost me as their customer living in the neighbourhood. Won't recommend!

I really enjoyed this place, I went with my cousins from Texas. who are vegetarian, so most the options we had were veg, but omg the dishes were delicious from tofu red curry, so tam salad , spicy mushroom soup tom Kha ya , I also had a dish called seafood on fire which was good with rice. The owners are very welcoming and when my sister was ordering as she allergic to some nuts , was quick to point out that she shouldn't have that dish. Would come here again.

We had take out, green curry and pad thai. We tend to try those first in a new place, to test the basics, and they were very good, really tasty. A lot of places don't do a great pad thai but this one was really nice. We'll definitely go back very soon.

Food was great (tasty and big portions) and the staff is very welcoming too! We ended up with a bill of £20 each and we had plenty of starters and a main course.

Cheep and clean place, Friendly staff. Lunch menu from 6.5 with lots of options: starters, curries, pad thai. Veg options as well. Complementary jasmine tea on request is a plus.

I have been a fairly regular customer of this restaurant over many years and have always found the food to be of a very good standard whilst the service provided by Ray & Clive is terrific. I am always treated in a friendly, courteous way, so if you are looking for a friendly good value Thai Restaurant then I believe you will be very happy with your choice.

This use to be the best Thai ever under the old management but the portions are smaller more expensive and the overall service is not as good, not sure if the chef changed or the quality of the ingredients used. Still good food but use to be a lot better.

This place is great. It was our first visit and happened to be our wedding anniversary. We didn't book as we were arriving quite late (10PM) and we were simply looking for good food and no hassle. We were the only people in the restaurant—understandable when you consider it is a ridiculous time to be eating dinner—but there we were. Service was impeccable; friendly, courteous, respectful and professional. The Thai gentleman serving us really made us feel welcome. The food was authentic and very tasty. Som Tam salad to start—as good as in Thailand my wife assures me. Mains were Massaman curry featuring the most supremely tender lamb with steamed rice, tilapia fish in ginger and soya sauce with coconut rice. Jasmine tea refilled constantly throughout the meal: I counted at least two pots. Price was very reasonable. I've also posted a photo of a charming little street cart that adorns the bar. We will be back for another meal some time soon.

Even though, Somtam has changed hand of owners but still the same chef, Mr Chang and his team. I live in Twickenham and have been going to Somtam in the past 15 years, never once feel disappointed, esp with my Weeping Tiger dish. Wish Somtam was just round the corner!!
