Eton Place was shut so we came here for Sunday lunch. It was abysmal. Frozen cauli and broccolli was overcooked, frozen tiny carrots were hard and inedible, roast potatoes were like bullets, gravy was instant and too thick. Lamb shank was fatty shredded meat and chicken was a very thin flattened fillet. We didn't attempt the yorkshire pudding. The hospitality industry complains about dwindling customers but with fayre like that provided today they have no excuse. Don't waste your money - Aunt Bessie does it better at a fraction of the price. There wasn't even any ambience - the place was practically empty

The best steak I've had in Liverpool, and lovely staff, nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely be coming again.

Our 1st time here. Had the Chicken Suprema. Chips are xtra. But it does come with rice & salad. The sauce was lovely. Really nice. We will be back. The lady who served us & the rest of the team were really nice.

It’s our first time there and service was so bad. Floor staff attitude was bad. Food is alright. At the end, the lady not willing to serve us anymore and not even look at us. No matter what, customer is always right for catering industry. Won’t going back again and not recommended 👎🏻

This was our second visit. We have ordered steak at a number of different places around the area, including Pinion (which I think has a Michelin star) and none of them have come close in quality or flavour to the ones served here. The staff are very attentive, and the manager (Vicky, I believe) is worth her weight in gold for the restaurant owners for her friendliness and for being so consistently on the ball throughout the entire service. It's a nice restaurant with a good vibe, but there are a couple of tweaks needed to make it perfect. The hard lighting is far too bright over the tables, which spoils any feeling of intimacy and can bring on a migraine for me. It would be so much nicer if they were dimmed, and there were candles on each table, or even if there were a few tables available that weren't lit so brightly that customers might ask for. The other thing that lets the restaurant down quite significantly is the choice and quality of the desserts. All are obviously "bought in" and are of the same quality as the desserts that can be ordered in any Wetherspoons. We haven't tried any of the starters as we didn't want to do the steaks a disservice by not being hungry enough to finish them, so can't comment on them. I recommend going here to anyone who loves steak and great service, though one thing to mention is that the potatoes that come with it are a garnish, and most people would need to order a side to make it into a full meal. There are a few to choose from; the chips are lovely. All in all, a five star steak...take away one star for the disappointing desserts and add it back on for the excellent manager.

The best kebab shop ever. Quick delivery, great wings and chicken is always well cooked. The house kebab is well worth it and feeds 2. I just buy my own wraps

Food and shakes are so good! Plus the staff are really friendly and were very good with my peanut allergy. Didn't make me feel like a burden like some other places do. Will definitely be back again! Thank you :)
