Came here for our Christmas dinner, and it was absolutely awful!! Was booked in September with a deposit paid, for 14 of us. Arrived at 2:50, for a table booked at 3, and they had no record of the booking! Sat us at a table which was for someone else, so I don’t know where they put them!! The lady taking our order was possibly the rudest waitress I’ve ever come across at a restaurant!! Told us very abruptly how she wanted us to order drinks and still got it wrong!!! Starters came out after about an hour, which were okay. Waited about another 45 minutes for our mains. When they arrived, those of us who had ordered steak all said the steak was really nice, apart from one which was undercooked. The traditional Christmas dinners were terrible. All the vegetables and roast potatoes were from frozen packets!! Roast potatoes tasted like cheap aunt Bessie’s!! Halloumi kebab came out with everything off the menu missing, apart from the kebab!! That was sent back twice until my daughter said she didn’t want another one!! Ordered more drinks with the mains and only half of them came!! Was supposed to be getting desert but we all decided to leave them because we just wanted to leave at this point!! Speaking to other people in the restaurant, they all had similar experiences, sending food back and no record of their booking!! Definitely will not be returning here!!

Four of us went to celebrate our friend's 70th Birthday and we had a lovely evening. We arrived early but the restaurant was able to let us have our table as it was fairly quiet. All of the staff were great especially Anelia who really looked after us and went out of her way to make our evening special. (Thank you!) We all had different starters calamari, prawns and vine tomato crostini, all of which were delicious, then all three of us chose Chicken Suprema which was also delicious. Nothing was left on the plates! We will be back for more!

Return visit yesterday, we were sat at the rear of the restaurant which wasn’t a problem until they turned the lights off for a birthday party just as our food was served! Couldn’t see to eat properly. Staff tried to solve the problem with candles but it didn’t work. I suggested we should be moved to a booth near the front of the property where it was lighter which they did. Food and service was excellent and staff were superb and couldn’t apologise enough for the disruption, just unfortunate and we will definitely return.

Came for Sunday lunch , restaurant was not busy. Front of house staff were pleasant and accommodating &they are why rating is 2 stars not one. When food arrived some dishes were served more or less together, one was sent back because the fish was baked dry. Those of us who ordered the Sunday Roast had been literally forgotten. We were told we would get this when the fish had been redone. As I had not ordered a starter I resorted to stealing off husbands chip pile! Obviously we then had to eat when the others had finished , but at least they weren’t hungry when watching me. I don’t eat carrots & couldn’t eat the broccoli because it was soggy , so I’m guessing it was frozen. I had expected the chicken to be carved breast but it was served on the bone. We were offered free dessert I believe, but nobody had one. The fish dish was , I am told , when it came back , very nice. If they’d been run off their feet , I suppose you could perhaps make allowances, but we were first in , & not far off the first to give our order! Won’t be returning.

Eton Place was shut so we came here for Sunday lunch. It was abysmal. Frozen cauli and broccolli was overcooked, frozen tiny carrots were hard and inedible, roast potatoes were like bullets, gravy was instant and too thick. Lamb shank was fatty shredded meat and chicken was a very thin flattened fillet. We didn't attempt the yorkshire pudding. The hospitality industry complains about dwindling customers but with fayre like that provided today they have no excuse. Don't waste your money - Aunt Bessie does it better at a fraction of the price. There wasn't even any ambience - the place was practically empty

The best steak I've had in Liverpool, and lovely staff, nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely be coming again.

Our 1st time here. Had the Chicken Suprema. Chips are xtra. But it does come with rice & salad. The sauce was lovely. Really nice. We will be back. The lady who served us & the rest of the team were really nice.

It’s our first time there and service was so bad. Floor staff attitude was bad. Food is alright. At the end, the lady not willing to serve us anymore and not even look at us. No matter what, customer is always right for catering industry. Won’t going back again and not recommended 👎🏻

This was our second visit. We have ordered steak at a number of different places around the area, including Pinion (which I think has a Michelin star) and none of them have come close in quality or flavour to the ones served here. The staff are very attentive, and the manager (Vicky, I believe) is worth her weight in gold for the restaurant owners for her friendliness and for being so consistently on the ball throughout the entire service. It's a nice restaurant with a good vibe, but there are a couple of tweaks needed to make it perfect. The hard lighting is far too bright over the tables, which spoils any feeling of intimacy and can bring on a migraine for me. It would be so much nicer if they were dimmed, and there were candles on each table, or even if there were a few tables available that weren't lit so brightly that customers might ask for. The other thing that lets the restaurant down quite significantly is the choice and quality of the desserts. All are obviously "bought in" and are of the same quality as the desserts that can be ordered in any Wetherspoons. We haven't tried any of the starters as we didn't want to do the steaks a disservice by not being hungry enough to finish them, so can't comment on them. I recommend going here to anyone who loves steak and great service, though one thing to mention is that the potatoes that come with it are a garnish, and most people would need to order a side to make it into a full meal. There are a few to choose from; the chips are lovely. All in all, a five star steak...take away one star for the disappointing desserts and add it back on for the excellent manager.

Food and shakes are so good! Plus the staff are really friendly and were very good with my peanut allergy. Didn't make me feel like a burden like some other places do. Will definitely be back again! Thank you :)

Pathetic. Been twice in a week and get told to park up in the drive thru both times and had to wait half hour for a happy meal Genuinely may as well go to a restaurant as it’s quicker
