Sol Bistro in Birmingham

First time iv been here...a small venue opp Co op.i order a small breakfast with avocado on the side. They had Dairy free butter and milk (dairy allergic). Food was fresh piping hot ans delicious. I'd certainly return here. Prices were reasonable...so win win xx

Wonderful breakfast today at a great price. Smashing, friendly service. Only wish we had time for the loveky cakes on display too!! Thank you for terrific food. We all loved it.

This is such an awesome place! Great food excellent breakfasts with veggie options. Clean, friendly and always a delight to grab a good coffee at reasonable price. Definitely pop in you won’t regret it.

Great little cafe run by two great lads good quality food lots of cakes and meals, they cater for events and small parties, often activities in the cafe. For breakfast it's the best in cotteridge by far.

Fabulous little place. Friends get together for a birthday. The food was fantastic , delicious pan fried sea bass on crushed buttery mashed new potatoes, followed by the creamiest white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake , top nosh! Friendliest of staff too. Well worth a visit or booking for a private function .

Best coffee and tasty food.. Always so friendly staff and welcoming.. Cute and cosy inside . I would highly recommended all the chief home made soup.. And the home made cakes and especially the cheese cake.. Lovely friendly atmosphere..

Walked in amazing cosy bistro. Was just having sweet potatoes and my son had a cold drink. To look from the outside it looks closed. I poked my nose through the window and noticed it’s open. Very nice and artsy love it

Me and my friend love this place so much! We come a lot in our free at school and always sit in the same place :) The chips are actually unreal and the staff are lovely! The place is nice too!!!

Louie and Chris do an excellent job of making sure all customers feel welcome and valued. A niche business; they ensure that by promoting interesting events, they revive their customer base regularly, whilst not forgetting their loyal patrons. The homemade cheesecake is also the best! Well done both. Keep up your hard work!

A warm welcome as always, and a fabulous Belfast brekkie was eaten . Have been in a few times and have never left disappointed. The homemade cakes are delicious too. A real asset to Cotteridge.

Popped into Sol on a whim as the lovely outside seating area got my attention and thought I’d go inside to see what that offered. A really friendly welcome from the owner and a great coffee whilst waiting for my breakfast. I went for a bacon and sausage sandwich which was lovely and also took away a couple of amazing homemade cakes 🍰. Well worth a visit.

I can’t really say I just visited this Bistro because it was much more, it was an experience. The welcome was so genuine and I could sense the wonderfully cheerful and friendly atmosphere straight away and it remained all the time I was there even though it was so busy. Now the even better experience was the food, lovely breakfast cooked exactly as I requested and then although really full how could I resist one of the gorgeous cheese cakes. Great morning and I will be back.

The best place for food in Brum! Sol Bistro has the most fabulous breakfast/lunch menu with everything made from scratch. Louie & Chris are a brilliant team and I wish I lived closer to visit more! ♥️

Hard to imagine these guys have not been around for years, but they only set up in January this year! The light bites are delicious, everything is prepared fresh, and they are more than happy to make any adjustments. Good range of vegetarian foods too. If you are thinking of popping in for coffee and cake, or lunch, or an afternoon tea, you should! Friendly, professional, great food in a timely manner, and the food is hot!

Sol Bistro is a very nice place for a light meal - the breakfast deals are superb. The food is well prepared and nicely presented. The young owner is friendly and professional.

I have visited Sol Bistro many times now and never leave disappointed. The food is always tasty - good quality and generous portions. Coffee is great too and their homemade cheesecakes are not to be missed. Plus, I’m always greeted with a smile - what’s not to love! Highly recommend.

What a fabulous afternoon tea myself and friend have just had , tha sandwiches were fantastic fresh and so many , The scone ,Jam and clotted cream delicious and reminded me of home (Devon). So many other different cakes as well ,we had to have a box to take some home , Louie and Chris did us proud , thank you . Fantastic cafe ,food friendly staff overall 10☆ Won't be long till we will be there again .
