The food screams Poland, honestly worth a try. I have been twice and have not been disappointed in the food. Definitely come here to get a belly full of yummy food. I recently took my friends here, unfortunately we were overcharged; however, the food was so good we shrugged it off as a tip. The place is cosy and the staff make you feel at home.

Phenomenal The restaurant translates to "Taste of Barbara" and well I have to tell you, it tastes great! We were a little undecided even though she described the daily menu to us well. Which changes day to day depending on what Basia cooks. If you want unbelievably well-made, home-cooked polish food that tastes like mum made it then come here. She recommended the shared platter which we were told was 'a little of everything' and shared it with 3 others, including my polish friend. I was expecting a modest platter and was brought a feast: pork and rice stuffed cabbage, cheese pierogi, beef stew, potato dumplings, schnitzel, pork medallions, crispy onions, roast potatoes and more. I was stuffed and I can usually eat a horse. We then shared a polish apple cake which was also fantastic too. Even their compote drinks, which are home made too, were really refreshing. This whole experience made me feel like I had a trip to a polish grandma's house and the food felt like a warm hug. My polish friend confirmed all of this too as she was with us. Im giving this a solid 5/5. I almost didnt want to leave a review as this is such a nice hidden gem. Thanks Basia!

Very good Polish cuisine, we have zurek and pierogi one with cheese and potato another one with cabbage and mushrooms , absolutely delicious. We took portion of each home with us . As well we had compote to drink which was super good. The owner was amazing, definitely come back when in area. 100% recommended

I have been living around nearly 2 years now, and I made a mistake by never being here. The first impression was nice, nice place and they even have outdoor seats.💯% for the atmosphere. First, they thought I'm Polish, but soon I said I'm not, they were happy to translate the menu and explained everything I wanted to know. For me the service was 💯%. Even I was surprised how fast they served the food, which was the best meal since I'm in England. :) That's another 💯% for the food. I can only recommend it to everyone. Thank you, and definitely see you again. 😊

Unfortunately it was booked out for a party. No sign outside to say so though otherwise I wouldn't have waited around. Perhaps next time Ill ring ahead... Owners reply says FB, Facebook? No mention on here of a weblink though. What's wrong with a proper webpage? Some of us don't use F.B.

Delicious authentic Polish food. I may not be an expert but you know it is when the owners and customers are Polish. I have also had plenty of homemade Polish food in the past. Also from my experience, Polish people don't usually eat out, then it must be good if that's the case. I had a pork knuckle with roasted potatoes, served with two kinds of coleslaw. The meat was well cooked and falling off the bone and the coleslaw paired well cutting through the fat. The lady (owner?) was very kind and gave a taster of her goulash, potato pancake and pierogi. The goulash was full of flavour and the pancake was crispy outside. Love the pierogi with sour cream mash potato. I also had a pint of pear juice which was delicious. There is no menu outside and you need to order from the counter. Don't be intimidated and just walk in. The staff are friendly and would translate the Polish menu for you. I would definitely come back for more in the future.

A combination of nostalgic memories of childhood meals and modern touch of nowadays recipes. Beautifully presented and worthy of 5 stars. The price is amazing considering sizes of the dishes. Good luck with your business. Will definitely come back!

Went for dinner on Saturday, my first time eating in a Polish restaurant. Basi and her partner could not have been more welcoming. They provided a platter of food to try a range of different dishes and were really accommodating adding ribs which I had seen on the Facebook post earlier in the day and really wanted to try. The whole experience was really relaxing and fun. It's no wonder the restaurant quickly filled up, the reputation is very well deserved. I will definitely be back to try more dishes. Excellent food, great portions and brilliant hosts 😊

Really good, meaty food. The menu was in Polish (I'm pretty sure, anyway) so the guy who took our order had to roughly describe the dishes, but that was fine cos we were happy to go with his recommendation and it worked out great. Drinks were quite expensive but there were some fresh fruit drinks that were decent value, service was fast and friendly. Definitely recommend!

Lokal i lokalizacja może nie są prestiżowe, ale pozory mylą za dobre pieniądze w moim przypadku 10f pierwsze i drugie danie można się najeść do syta. Basia jest sympatyczna i kontaktowa pozwala to na skrócenie dystansu oraz tworzy miła atmosferę jak by się kobietę znało lata. Nie ma dowozu ale warto się wyrwać i wpaść na obiad. Polecam!
