Great little pub with a garden. It has a great selection of beers and ciders. The staff are great and the pizzas are great.

Pretty decent pizza and an interesting array of toppings and choices on the menu. Good amount of vegan options. Area for improvement on the service, especially for take away orders. I received a text that my order was ready for pickup. Twenty minutes later I was still waiting for items to come out of the oven. This is the second time this has happened. Tasty food if you are willing to wait a bit.

Despite the hype surrounding Slizza Pizza for its famous beer dough pizza, our experience was disappointing. Given the glowing reviews, we had high expectations, especially for the beer dough, but the flavor didn't stand out as anticipated. The toppings were decent, but not enough to make up for the lack of distinctiveness in the dough. Adding to our disappointment were the sides. We ordered black truffle and Parmesan cheese fries, only to find they were missing the Parmesan. The mozzarella sticks also fell short, lacking the expected flavor. Overall, the experience did not live up to the rave reviews we'd read.

Slizza never fails to disappoint. Our recent order was spot on - the fibonnacci is my absolute favourite and I went for it loaded with double bolognese and extra mushroom - my favourite combo. Delivery is speedy and the pizza arrives hot!

Really tasty food, pizza dough and toppings were great. Dip was really tasty, as were the chips. Liked that the chips came crunchy and not soggy like most other places. Would definitely order again.

Great place to go for a drink and play some board games, plus you can order a really tasty pizza as well. Would recommend going for a drink plus a snack rather than for the pizza alone, although the pizza was incredible.

Absolutely disgraceful, do not order from this place. The Pizza is supposed to be high end level, it's 16£ for a 15" pizza in Cardiff which is just crazy and so I received my order and the pizza was completely split and compressed together,£50 down the drain!!!!

Absolutely delicious pizza! I had the ‘420’ which has pepperoni, bacon and Doritos crumbs on top 👌 the truffle oil and Parmesan chips were to die for and the atmosphere of the place was very cozy and made even better by the lady playing and singing Christmas songs on the piano during our visit, which added a very wholesome festive touch to our evening. Staff were also very lovely and helpful, 10/10 customer service! Will be making many returns to this place! 🍕

Love this cozy little pub. The pizza is really great with a unique crust and intersting toppings. Pint selection is also not typical. Easy place to strike up a convo with other patrons or bartender.

So the quality of the ‘taste’ of the pizza was great. But I think the delivery man must’ve held the pizza box sideways because the whole pizza was a squashed up mess to one side of the box. Bit of a shame.

Pizza was tasty and there was a nice atmosphere in the pub. Bit of a shame it was served in boxes - would be nice to have had it served on a plate and with cutlery for the price.

I've lived in Cardiff for a year and this is *the best pizza I've had here*. Whilst I'm still in delivery distance this will now be my go to place. And after chatting to my hubby, when we move to Pontypridd I'm seriously considering sending him to pick it up! It's really lovely. And if you're worried about the marmite... give it a go it's brilliant! And I know I'm a marmite weirdo...but could I please ask that you try doing marmite on garlic bread? I'd love that! My only slight moan is that it was pretty cold by the time it got delivered, but then the guy biked here, was really sweet and I like cold pizza so I'm not gonna hold that against you.

Disappointed as it was not clear how to order pizza. Pizza is made from some generic flour/dough (on my taste) it is not sourdough Napoli style as you may mix on the picture....

Gluten free beer and pizza available! This is such a great place.

Great to see this spot bring some amazing new beers to the table along with their incredible pizzas. Flowerhorn as the staple beer is an absolute treat, plus they’ve introduced lovely cider and Tiny Rebel for a mixup. In a few months, the selection is already ahead of what it used to be before it took over from St Cannas.

Best damn pizzas in town! Great, friendly staff. Nice garden area for summer dining. Pub attached offers good local craft beers.

This place is a gem!!! Stunning beer dough, and their BBQ chicken No.7 is amazing!! - lockdown lifted our travel restrictions and first thing I did was drive from the Valleys to Cardiff to get my Slizzzzza 🤤 Edit 2023, still as good as ever , if not even better 💪❤️

By far the best pizza in Cardiff! The beer dough is just delicious. We don’t normally order take away pizza as it never seems to travel well but we took a punt at it. It arrived pretty quickly and still hot. The garlic mayo is amazing. Definitely will order again. Decided to skip the usual just eat/deliveroo platforms and went straight on their website which was easy to use and order a reward system. Cheers guys!

What a great place! A fun bunch of people but their pizzas are out of this world - something to do with the beer-infused dough just makes it so nice. Definitely recommend this place

Ordered via Deliveroo and was really disappointed at the pizza size for the cost. It was £12.99 and plus the delivery charge all in all came out to £16. For £13 I don't think this is worth it. Probably wouldn't order again unfortunately, pizza was tasty though but portion sizes far too small.

Pizza is average but a bit pricey for size App was hard work and adds a £1 service charge you can skip by just ordering directly with them at the door. Beer garden is a bit of a mess. There are better options nearby

Decent pizza, travelled well which some don't. I've had better pizza in Cardiff, but the kids enjoyed it as it wasn't too crispy, especially at the crusts.

We arrived from London last evening hungry and found this not far from us. The pizza is absolutely DELICIOUS! We’ve had pizza in many places in London. This is by far the best! And the combination of the pizza in the patio of a small pub with good beer is great! You can eat indoors too. Only thing is: no cutlery, no plates, eat with your hands! Could this perhaps be improved a bit?

By far the best pizza in Cardiff. Having just returned from Italy, this place does the pizza just like the Italians. Even better is the fact they have thier own delivery driver so pizza was nice and hot when it arrived. Delicious beer dough pizzas. I’ve had takeaway pizza from Slizza a fair few times and it’s always been great. The dough is lovely and I like that they have a good range of vegetarian and vegan options (I like the B12 pizza, with marmite). They’re available for delivery on the usual apps, but it works out cheaper to order from Slizza’s own website, which also offers delivery (you get to collect points too).

Please bring back the OG garlic Mayo…

We usually order the 12" Margherita. Its fresh and delicious every time. I'm craving it now just writing about it. We picked up at first and the kitchen is very clean and organized and located in a back garden with seating. Will definitely order to eat there when the weather gets better. Love the place.

it’s honestly the best pizza around!! I usually order from just eat but I’ve just had a look on their actual website and they make GLUTEN FREE bases! And they always put a smiley face on my pizza box :)

Great food so tasty but Where's your garlic mayo??? Went to order from you guys like 3 or 4 times over the last couple weeks and it's no longer an option even tho advertised in pics never bothered ordering in the end as that garlic mayo is the oneeee

I have ordered from here more than any other pizza place in cardiff, it's the best pizza around. The service is ALWAYS superb, and the pizza is just amazing, their beer dough is just unmatched. I have never had a bad meal from here. 10/10

This is some of the best Pizza I have had in Cardiff it rivals good pizza from California thats saying a lot considering its know for its good pizza. The Chesses was perfectly melted the pepperoni had lots of flavor and the crust was light and flaky the whole thing was awesome. There was an issue with getting a driver but i think some one from the restaurant made the trip out and they gave me Ice cream to make up for it 10 out of 10! If your looking for a good pizza look no feather.

Learnt my lesson not to ever order from that place again pizza was terrible not even cooked properly and had nothing to do with the picture.

This is the fourth time I have ordered extra olives as a topping without getting them. I make that £6 worth of olives I've missed out on. Last night I was prepared and added my own when it arrived.

Soft doey pizza base made with no yeast and proper mozzarella cheese and good ingredients. Quite pricy but good pizza (if you like ta kin of thing) for soaking up the excellent alcohol served in Canna's Ale House.

My order (just one pizza and a bottle of coke) was delivered 45 minutes late. Was also lukewarm.

As always, great quality but this is the second time my order of extra olives has been missed from my pizza. Disappointing.

My pizza was great, really fresh and tasty. Part of my order was missing as they forgot the tub of ice cream that I had ordered, which was disappointing!

Both the veggie and vegan pizzas looked and tasted amazing. One of the best vegan cheese pizzas I’ve had. Even the vegetarians loved them. The vegan cheese garlic bread was also very good.

I'm not typically a pizza lover, but fancied it for a change.. Wow! Just wow! Best pizza I have ever eaten (even Pizza in Naples wasn't this tasty) If I had one tiny moan, I'd have preferred crispier chips. I fully appreciate this is probably how they are supposed to be with good reason, and this is just a preference (hence no reduction in *****)

Best takeaway pizza we have tasted. Real authentic handmade feel to it with generous amount of toppings. Would definitely order from these guys again. They know their pizzas!

Been ordering from here for months. No complaints! Today I had a wrong order for the first time and they corrected it for me for free and gave me a 12” pizza instead of the 9” that I ordered. Great tasting pizza, love the dough and after today, would still 10/10 recommended!!! Thank you!!!

These pizzas are my current favourite as a 40-year fan and customer of Zio Pierro in Canton, the Prime Minister of the pizza, and also Pizzeria Villaggio. The dough is superb and stays pliable and soft even as it cools. My only reservation was that my vegetarian pizza was liberally covered with meat pepperoni. But I'll definitely be ordering it again at least a million times. I also wish I lived within a mile so I could order direct.
