Slim Chickens in Belfast

Ordered drinks and sauces DID NIT COME. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!!! WULL NOY ORDER AGAIN

food was cold by the time it arrived and the delivery driver attitude was so bad , items texas toast was missing

We didnt receive anything as the food was never delivered to us. The app and the driver said it was delivered but we never got the food. I have been waiting for over an hour. Restaurant didn’t pick up the phone (tried to call them 19 times and they never answered

Forgot wings!!!!! Ordered few times always wrong will not order again brainless staff

Usually love this place but tonight was very poor. Super salty chicken, wrong drink and a missing mac n cheese. disappointing

The restaurant kept putting the time back later and later. When the food came it was cold. The fries were below average, the “Texas Toast” was just… toast and it was tiny. The chicken was good but the whole thing was a disaster. I won’t order again.

Love the food and would love to order more in the future but today half of my order is missing, called 3 times and no answer. Didn’t want the refund in 7 days just the rest of my order. Disappointed.

Instead of writing messages on the delivery bags asking for 5* reviews the focus should be on ensuring orders are correct and of a good standard which will then garner 5* reviews. As a regular customer I am extremely disappointed

Received an order with a portion half the size of what it is in store. Paid extra for an additional dips but didn’t receive any dips at all. Very, very poor!

Went in ordered my food and now I’m still here and hour later waiting on my food I asked where is are food and just been told I will get it now I am now late for my train and still haven’t got my food.

i'm sorry we got here at about 4:25pm and then we asked many times when the food is coming after 30mins of waiting and got told yea it's coming it never came for a while after and we saw many tables that came in way later then us getting food before us

Went here for dinner, most of the dips were not available and the place was really messy. We were willing to look past that. Service was quick in all fairness, food was quite nice until we found a chip in our food that did not smell right. It was foul to the point me and my partner questioned if it was even a chip at all. The odour coming from the single chip was repulsive and me and my partner could both smell it, despite me having a cold and therefore reduced smell. I know this is a bit of an odd metaphor, but the only thing we could compare the smell to was a zoo and we were both put off the remaining food. We waved down a girl with reddish hair who I cannot fault, her service was impeccable and she tried her best to rectify the situation. We explained the situation and requested a partial refund for the food we could not finish and she said she would go see what she could do. 5 minutes later the manager came down and handed us a partial cash refund, apologised half heartedly and walked off before we got a chance to say anything. I don't really use cash and also paid for the food using card so this both annoyed and confused me as surely this would then make the shops till short as well? We both left agreeing that despite enjoying Slims food in the past we would not be returning as the experience today has just put us off slims entirely.

Missing ALL the dips from our order. Not sure how that’s possible to miss out every dip for every meal. Very annoying, as dips are meant to be one of the selling points.

Spend 40 pound on food and didnt recieve any of the sauces which is 1 the main reasons my kids order out of here wont be ordereing again 40 pound wasted on food its an absolute disgrace

listen the chicken is okay, would be considered amazing if it was from a chippy. the "texas toast" was literally a slice of bread dipped in wet butter and somebody made a suggestion to it about what toast is. chips are not seasoned, simply lightly salted. They also cannot seem to get an order right and send you what you pay for. if you want good chicken that doesnt get orders wrong all the time, just get from MB.

Usually a big slims chicken fan but the food on Friday was terrible. Chicken tenders were so small and the texas toast was so dry it wasn't eatable. The drinks were either warm or flat. Staff were working so hard but maybe extra staff would help lower the pressure and increase the quality.

I tried the food once and it was god awful, even the smell from outside is sickening

I never ate worse food in all my life the chicken wasn’t even cooked the staff were extremely rude and also eating the food behind the counter they had no hair masks on to prevent hair from falling into the food I waited all day to get food as I work to earn my money to spend it on rubbish like this

I am so disappointed with my order, i did not receive the right sauce, my food was cold and also did not receive the right drinks. I also paid for extra texas toast which i didn’t not receive. Not happy at all.

Food was nice and staff were friendly. Seating was uncomfortable, felt like it was angled downwards or something? Also pretty overpriced. £14.45 for this and a drink.

Food was abysmal as seen in these pics. Completely overcooked, stale and at the same time freezing cold. Inedible, all went straight in the bin. Have tried to call the store to complain but they never answer their phone and uber eats said it was not their problem to sort. Dips also missing from order.

I have to say this was the best fried chicken I have ever had in my life. Will definitely order from here again and tell my mates

Food looked so promising, but when we got it (eventually) it was so incredibly MID. Chicken had like no sauce and chicken was dry. And our table….. it was so messy they just walk around pretending to clean. And for someone being there for the first time it was so confusing. AND it was so busy oh my god, #dont go on a weekend. Toast was really good tho.

The driver didn’t deliver my food. I waited over an hour for him to say he was outside. Didn’t bother ringing me and there was no number available to contact him. Now I have to wait 48hrs to get the guts of £50 back

Had to wait 2 hours, rang after it had been an hour and was told it had just left the shop even tho it didn’t update on the app to say it was on the way until 40 mins after this food came semi warm

This place serves the best chicken in Belfast. It is a million times better than popeyes. The batter is crispy the meat is juicy and full of flavour. Their portions are mahosive and all their sauces are brilliant. My kids keep asking when we are going back to belfast to get slims chicken.

The food was amazing and the staff were perfect with the replacement dip choice as they must have been out of honey BBQ. The cayenne ranch was a perfect substitute! Just another perfect order from the best chicken place in Belfast!

The attitude of a certain woman employee possible a supervisor in the black top is atrocious, bully springs to mind… her attitude towards me and a table behind me uncalled for. Maybe an upskilling in customer care would be beneficial 🙂 school dinner lady springs to mind. Had to ask for table to be cleaned & ask for my cups to go and get a drink food came out before a cup…Food was good but experience dampened.

Food came absolutely stone cold. The food box was freezing by the time I got it. The chips I couldn’t even eat due to them being cold. None of the food was warm. Very disappointed

Food not great, not terribly clean, flat warm Coca Cola and Fanta orange. Don’t even try to complain as they don’t listen. Wouldn’t recommend and definitely won’t be back. Have had in other locations but by far this was the worst.

Shown up on Google maps as nearby Halal but after coming to the place i asked if it was Halal, chef advised me unfortunately nothing here is halal. 🙂
