Very disappointing food. The ribs were chewy and had a watery sauce. The chow mein was bland with chicken added after it was stirfried so no flavour. The 3 women behind the counter were giggling and swearing to each other talking about Dildos. I shall not be returning.

Absolutely waste of money, dished out the Chinese after 3 mouthfuls binned the whole lot, its that bad its not fit to even give your dog, do not eat from here you will be very disappointed, food tasteless, even the curry had no taste, the place needs to be shut down

Thought I'd try a different one as my usual was closed.the BBQ spare ribs had hardly any meat on it the sauce was watery. Chow mein was tasteless only thing made it tasty was the salt and chilli chips. Waste of money 😞

Not only do they sell terrible food they even send a delivery driver that adds more cost to your bill and rip you off I phoned to Complain but what a waste of time as they couldn’t careless Stay away or you will get scabby food Read other reviews

Extremely disappointed, usually our favourite! Ordered from them over other options for food as a treat for family and taken a few bits and can’t eat anymore, considering the usual quality this has had so much water added to sauces or flavoured foods. Should put an advert on menu, served with flavoured and coloured water sauce. Rice was edible, but the rest was absolutely shocking from an establishment that usually serves excellent dishes. Not very happy. Food bin get full this week, what is going on??? Food was hot and delivered on time, but if the food is rubbish, rather have the money back!

This is our go to Chinese, the foods always delicious, the staff are lovely. The best sweet and sour chicken balls around

Ordered chicken chow mein which was lovely with alot of sauce. But the salt and chili chips and salt and chili chicken were a let down. The chips were over done and the chicken was tough not at all like the same dishes I have had at other Chinese takeaways.

Average Chinese nice size portion only problem was salt and pepper chips was under cocked

Been using skewen Chinese since I was about 10 I'm 65 now and believe me I've been to more Chinese than most of you have had Sunday dinner you may not have free chips or rice with your meal because the potions are so big not every Chinese can get it write every time why do you think that this Chinese has been going for so long because it's the best around

Had this last night as we are getting fed up of our usual Chinese putting prices up. Absolutely lovely food, chicken curry was really nice, as was Singapore chow mein, loads of chicken in the fried rice as well. Much cheaper than our usual and free popadoms which my son and boyfriend had as only 2 given. Will definitely order again I was very happy with it. Bit of a pain to pick it up but we didn't want to pay more for delivery and wait for it. Definitely recommend 🙂

What the gritty stuff in the bbq sore ribs sauce is I don’t know, absolutely awful tried ringing at 10:50 but no answer

Just had our first order the food is lovely but we didn't receive any spring rolls or soft drink as mentionated on the site for orders over 30..we would definetely order the șpring rolls as we love them if we would know we don't receive them..a bit dissapointed

Ordered egg foo young with no veg except peas and get all veg and ordered curry sauce but no sauce. Nearly £30 for an order they can't get right !

Best chinese meal I've had in a long time

I have had a delivery quite a few times and I must say the food is always fresh and absolutely beautiful and always arrives on time and always piping hot. The staff on the phone and the delivery are always polite. I wouldn't order from any other Chinese. First class

Order food missing curry sauce chips and prawn crackers said wasnt ordered but we did dissapointed as we come here regularly .

We order from here all the time but tonight has been terrible. Ordered for delivery at 8.35 it is now 9.23 and no food. I have rang and 1st time lady on phone said she thinks it had been sent out but kitchen very busy so not sure!! Called 2nd time at 8.55 to be told yes it has just left it will be 15 minutes... We are 5 minutes up the road!! Still no takeaway so almost an hour late and i dread to think how hot it will be when it does arrive. Won't be using them again.

Used this chinese takeway once and the food was nice and tasty. It's about the same price as most other chinese takeways in the area.

Share a experience. It was and not even a good one. Firstly we have been using this takeaway service for the last 6 years with no problem until tonight, we always order ribs chips extra sauce to find when the deliver came there was no chips, we then phoned them up as soon as we noticed there wasn’t any chips recieved. The women on the phone claimed that we did not Order them but knew for a fact we did they did offer so kindly to deliver a portion of chips for 4.80 bare in mind we already paid 17.40 for freezing cold ribs,only 5 minutes down the road. We said we added it all up on their website she said we are using the wrong one but the same one we always use, one of their websites yeah that’s right there’s more than 4 different ones It’s with different prices it’s like pick n mix. She then said use the menu that also had different prices. We added it up on the website we always use and it came over £15 Which the popadoms are free over £15 but the women said that doesn’t include the deliver charge, doesn’t state that so maybe they should or atleast tell you when placing the order by phone. To top it all off she rung me back on her private phone very unprofessional, very rude on the phone also having the cheek saying we owe them more money becuse they have a pick n mix website. Maybe they should take it down so they don’t confuse their self. Wouldn’t be using this service again and highly wouldn’t recommended it.

Terrible service, been using this place for over 6 years with no problems, ordered tonight, ribs and chips, delivery arrived no chips, called back only to be told we had not ordered chips, when in fact we did and paid the same price that we always have. They just called back admitting they had made the mistake , but if I wanted the chips I would have to pay another delivery charge, not getting anywhere talking to the girl that made the mistake, so I just gave up,they said I used an old website (this one) so why haven't they taken it down if it is an old web site ? will not be using again, if you hungry don't bother ordering from these as you will go hungry just as I have. One word disgusting customer service.

Brilliant meal, ordered through website at 8am on New year's Eve for 6.30 pick up, on time and delicious as always.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!! This Chinese used to be a great local take-away but its standards have dropped dramatically. My food was cold and tasteless but was so greasy I struggled to eat it.. My order was wrong and even though the VERY abrupt girl who took my order admitted that she had got my order wrong, I was told that I would have to pay the delivery cost for them to re-deliver what I had originally ordered. I will never go here again, the service and the food really was terrible, I was so disappointed paying for something that my family were unable to eat.

In the over 20 years I've been going here i have never once had a meal that wasn't perfect.

Slow delivery service waited over 2 and half hours wouldn't recommend the delivery service

Food is very good, especially the BBQ spare ribs. Prices are reasonable & location is easy to find. They deliver as well, but there is a small charge. Would have had 5 stars but for 2 small things. Parking is not always easy, as it is on a main road & they only accept cash payments. No debit or credit cards accepted, which is a shame.

I am very fussy with food and always go to certain chineses. Moved to skewen orderd from here and omg i wouldnt go anywhere else now. This chinese is the best, and the service. I would highly recommend!! I have a chinese almost every night now. Price is right lol :-)
