KFC Glynneath - Cwmgwrach Roundabout in Neath Port Talbot

Was in the drive through and staff were very obnoxious towards me and my partner told us to park up when our food was ready at the window just on a massive power trip the staff are , the attitude was absolutely awful

Friendly polite young staff. Very accomodating. Couldn’t do enough. It was clean.

Spotlessly clean and friendly staff no issues to report no action needed.

Chicken is good. Fries are vile, the skins-on type. If I wanted my food covered in muck I'd go through the bins.

Always stop here on my way home from Aberdare the best KFC for miles around been here now on many occasions and the food is always spot on and it's always spotless inside. Good service and quick.

Had a bite to eat with my granddaughters and the venue is clean and praentable, the service was fast and respectful. We had a nice lunch

The good here was unbelievably Luxurious and Nice tasting The interior inside was Pretty clean and nice I rate it a 5 star, Totally Recommend

when you are in a hurry to go somewhere and want to eat, KFC always helps out. in general, I love fast food, especially a bucket with wings

Nice chicken like any KFC often forget food from orders but all in all nice little place too eat.

Really lovely lady brought out a tub of water for the dog which was really thoughtful Thank you we really appreciated it especially millie

Understaffed and hygiene not the best

I have had the unfortunate worst experience of a KFC meal I have ever had,, EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF CHICKEN WAS ROCK HARD AND AS DRY AS ANYTHING, AS IF IT WAS YESTERDAYS LEFTOVERS, THE CHIPS WERE FREEZING COLD, I HAVE NEVER BEEN SERVED SUCH HORRIBLE FOOD, WHERE NEARLY ALL WAS INEDIBLE, RENDERING HAVING TO ORDER A CHINESE TAKE AWAY, WILL NEVER USE THIS BRANCH AGAIN!!!!!!

We visited today had freshly cooked food and really enjoyed it. The toilets are a shared male and female, glad no one else was in there I think I might have felt a bit awkward

Website says this branch is open from 10:30 it even states this time on the door, this is a lie. I tried to grab a quick bite on my way to a job, and myself and others were turned away. Should have gone to McDonald's on the other side of the roundabout.

On Friday the 17th of May. 20.30hrs. I visited KFC Glynneath. On most previous occasions, I use the Drive Thru. However, on this occasion, I decided to use the dine in facility. The food and service were excellent. However, it needs to be pointed out. The dine in space was filthy. With a lot of food and packaging. Discarded on the tables. And the floor. As a customer, I had to request that someone clean a table before I could use it. A young gentleman came out from the kitchen area. Quick wipe over. And off he went. The food on the floor was left. I do believe the shift team leader. Needs to focus on hygiene within the public eating area. 😡

Been there a few times now, staff always friendly and the food is good. 2 downsides: The toilets are unisex and the hand driers didn't work.

The food here was the usual standard for KFC and hot and tasty. Three place was nice and clean as well as the toilets. The only thing at this time that I felt let the place down was one of the servers.. She was polite in every way and full of smiles.. Therein last the issue.. oral hygiene appears not to have been on her agenda for some time. Would be enough to put many off their food.

Good KFC, other handy stuff on site too like an Asda express and a McDonald's on other side of roundabout

Rarely seen it busy. Staff are always friendly polite. Food was hot and arrived quickly. Car park isn't huge but its big enough. Toilet facilities are always clean which I can't say the same for another, quite nearby fast food restaurant.

This is the worst KFC I've ever been in. Staff obnoxious, food quality terrible and the place has a hostile atmosphere. Deffo the worst.

Quick bite to eat with the youngest... food was great, you know what you're getting, it was hot and delicious. The restaurant was clean and plenty of staff on hand if you needed them. Car parking space as always. Nothing to complain about.

Use this KFC as never too busy. Small car park but rarely a problem in finding a space. Quick service. Location not ideal for some, really a stop point on A465 when traveling north/south but food good quality.

It's decent food when you're on the move, but expensive for what it is.

Expressionless staff who appear no more than 12. Directed me to a "kiosk" when referring to the touchscreens. Normal size pieces covering much smaller ones.

Ordered at 5 to 8 with no one before me, stood waiting until quarter past 8 without a word from staff while multiple received food that ordered after me with no explanation

Very rude staff, no card payment by card only by the apps ,ginger girl was very rude to two customers who walked out after a tirade of abuse and bad language no wonder the place was empty,ginger haired man was very scruffy ,I’ll stick to the Morriston branch in future

KFC generally disappoints but the wait here is a joke

Store was very cold especially when the door was opening and closing. Didn't enjoy getting cold

The fact that the door did not shut, or was left open while it was freezing outside. You would expect some sort of heating/warm ish atmosphere while eating your food. For the amount of money you leave behind i'd say its fair to sit warm. Staff wasn't one of the brightest around.

Polite, efficient staff. Fast service and good parking make it a great place to eat. Food wasn't overcooked, which can't be said for some KFC..plus you get given all sauces without having to fight for them ... Glynneath KFC gets five 🌟

Good food but level of cleaners could be improved

Ordered online An elderly team leader said "The system has logged it" and the young manger came over and said "It's not logged in our system... Have you placed it another KFC?" This is the Neath Valley... There isn't one for 30 miles. We tried to place our order at the kiosk, team leader was silent, manger told us repeatedly to use self service, we went and done that... Then he let the people behind us order at the kiosk. Ordered at self service, given phone number for customer service when we waited to collect the team member operating the drive thru told us to look for the number despite being given it on paper. Got the food, warm and everything we ordered. Expect KFC Reginal Office to fire everyone here in 2024 and replace them with worse staff like they've done before.

Called in here after going to the park just outside Aberdare. We love kFC. The restaurant was clean, and we got served straightaway , we had full bellies leaving there...lovely

Really good KFC, you'd think they'd all be the same buy unfortunately not. This one is as it should be, tender chicken , skin not soggy,nice and crispy. One of best iv had, good location, Staff are quick ,polite and efficient. Also witnessed manager deal with a complaint very well, awkward customer (not in the right) but very impressed with how they handled it.Been here few times and much better than my local one in Aberdare and will be travelling here from now on.

Food is great as per any KFC, the store is in the middle of nowhere and it gets battered quite alot so alot ofnthe time we go in there is not much of what we want left. Overall I can't fault it, it is really nice food and the staff seem friendly enough.

Spent over £30 using the drive through. When we got home they hadn’t given us any chips with our meals.

Lovely food people and setting highly recommended

Food has always been fresh and hot on order on occasions I've visited. Good location for a stop off when heading towards Brecon/Mertyhr or towards Swansea if going down the A465. Has self-service machines for ease of use and can also use the KFC app for collection. There is plenty of seating area inside and outside. Unfortunately, there is no delivery service for the area as of yet. Staff are friendly and professional. Only comment on service, is staff can be a little slow in prepping/taking orders.

Been to many branches all over UK but today's experience was the worst. Food very poor quality, fries were cold and stale. They forgot drinks and popcorn chicken was dry and hard. Definitely won't be returning!!

As a member of the public KFC food was very cold also did not like the way that member of staff spoke to female who work in KFC member of staff which was very l unprofessional in a work place should not speak to anyone like that mangers should over see how the staff work and how they speak to other members of staff in a work place very bad practice.

Been her twice now and on both occasions was unable to get the order I wanted. Never going to call at this KFC again.. waste of time!

Lack of staff on Sunday Eve made slow service

Regular visit with my son and 2,grandaughters for take away to eat in the Car Park. The order is dealt with,quickly and,the food very hot and excellent taste. 1st Class service and no problem's with our meals.

Fries were cold. They'd been there ages. When I asked for fresh ones the assistant just picked up fries from the same batch in the holder. I had to say 'No, fresh ones please, they're the same.' She then muttered to her colleague. Felt like she couldn't be bothered. Chicken was nice.

The chicken was all bone little meat the skin was thicker than the meat on one of the three pieces. Worst kfc I've ever had

Food and service good, late in the day not many people in,so unfair to rate atmosphere.

Restaurant was dirty, with food on the floors, tables and chairs. We had pre-ordered on the app, and when called to collect our meal the counter was covered in thick BBQ sauce. The assistant was rude and the Restaurant itself was freezing cold. I had requested changes to my burger meal which weren't done, our cups were soaking with over run Pepsi and the food was luke warm, to say the least. Won't be stopping in again.

Food is better than Aberdare’s effort but be prepared to wait for it if driving through. Quicker if you go in.

Food seems like its been reheated up not really the best

Just tried to get a drive through at KFC I sat by the machine to take my order without success then drove to next window this was shut then I drove to third window which the girl told me she was unable to take order from there I would have to drive around again,no way I won't use this KFC again.

Not been to this kfc before, Food cold and tasteless although I would have thought the same recipe would be the same. No salt no napkins. Forgot the gravy. The potion size of the 2 piece variety meal was the smallest iv ever seen said this at the counter when I had to go back in the store for condiment’s He said That’s what we’re getting in at the moment !! For a restaurant at lunch time to only have 2 other customers I wonder why. Won’t be returning

The food was nice, and the service was lovely. The only thing that let it down, was the overflowing bins outside.

Not like a normal KFC at all, probably due to the low visitor numbers the staff and atmosphere is completely deferent to your usual KFC restaurant. Orders are usually wrong (incomplete), staff not attentive, chatting amongst themselves, not following basic hygiene standards.

Had the BONELESS BANQUET BOX MEAL. The beans were cold, the chips were luke warm and the chicken poppers were luke warm and tasteless. The Oreo crushem was just crushed ice, water and a little bit of milk. Couldn't taste the chocolate so basically a waste of money. Chicken on the meal was good. My daughters meal was pretty much the same. So basically a waste of money. Should have gone to Mcdonalds over the road.

The place was clean and tidy. Staff were all presentable and friendly. The kiosk was easy to navigate and order from. We didn't have to wait too long for our order to be assembled and given to us. Food was hot and stayed hot until we travelled the short distance home.

Asked if we could have a full fat coke or Pepsi they couldn't understand hubby's English accent. When collect we checked that we had a non diet coke to which they replied we didn't and would give us a refund. Which they did not for the drink but for the whole meal so we left with nothing. H

Absolutely shocking. Chips were cold like they came out of the freezer. Order the chick bite in sauce, they came out cold and hard, like they were sitting around for 5 hours. Then orded a Crushem that came out in a Pepsi cup with the same consistency as a milkshake. WORST KFC I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO! Would never go there again even if you payed me and gave me free food.

Never a problem with the food , but it took ages the past three visits , the staff seem miserable and the customer service from 2 staff there was non existent… as one guy just plonked the bag on the counter and turned his back to me as I was about to ask for something …. I took it as He seen I was about to ask for something and turned to avoid the situation… so I just left without any sauces ….. the second time it was a young female I actually got about 10 sachets of sauces with a bad attitude as she dropped them in the bag…. And the third time was just a long wait but the lady around early 40s was very apologetic and was very helpful with sauces …. But the overall impression is it seems understaffed , or the staff are unable to keep up with orders …. They are very busy even when it doesn’t seem too busy with customers … McDonald’s seems to handle the workload a lot more efficiently…. And the bad customer service is probably due to the frustration by staff that they are unable to cope with the way things are run

Terrible KFC the staff are friendly however, very slow. Had an order with 10 mini filets and a family feast bucket, didn’t even get the mini filets just a bag of extra chips. Can’t ever pay with card has to be cash and the food is either piping hot or stone cold.

Chicken was cooked to perfection and the gravy was just right, for me. Chips were a letdown 😟

The restaurant was fab but the co-ed toilets are not such a good idea
