SK Spice in Stockport

Had a african dish there hottest one ,very bland no heat what so ever took one mouth full and just binned it horrible and waste of money

Ordered take away and got the set meal - genuinely a lovely bag of food. Great tasty curries and all accompiaments were fresh and went well with the curries. I've tried many of the set meals in the area but this is by far the best.

This has to be the best Indian takeaway in the Four Heatons! And I've tasted my fare share of curries 🍛 Very well priced food, quickly made fresh to order, friendly staff. Overall its 10/10! Very highly recommended 👌 P.s. Ive had two meals from here this week alone.

Have to say that this could have been better. Chicken Tikka Masala with small pieces of chicken and not many of them. And the veg samosas came in spring roll format. The onion Bhajis were tiny and overcooked. I do appreciate your hard work and the good delivery. And I know that this can be a really premium take away. The Naans were very nice.

Ordered food for collection. Food was ready quickly and the order was all correct. The guys at the desk were very friendly. The popadoms were fresh and crispy as were the onion bhajis and kebabs were spot on too. Definitely will be returning.

Just thought I would update.2023 This place does not take card. I felt uneasy when I entered,it did not feel welcoming or right. I ordered onion bhajis. I was given them free. I was glad to leave and won't return as the experience spooked me.

New management, lovely food and great service

This is the best curry takeaway I've ever had, it's so good I've decided to make SK Spice my new regular curry house. Only improvement would be if they added a tofu option on some curries, but every vegetable curry we ordered was fantastic. Do yourself a favour and order an SK Spice tonight, don't delay!

It was my 3rd time tonight ordering from here, absolutely on point again. Tonight was our first curry, previously having kebabs on the last order with the first order being a mix of starters with breads and chapatti. Good job guys

We were in Heaton Chapel area and by chance we ended up here, it seems we made the right choice! The staff is very nice and friendly. Food is soooo good! Definitely we will be back!

Sk spice is a new take away with new faces in ownership and variety of menu’s. Service, food and atmosphere was excellent. The staff and the owner was really nice. Food review was 9/10 stars.

This take away has variety's of indian food. The taste of food was excellent, food was hot and price was cheap as well. Customer services and atmosphere was outstanding.

New owner. New name. SK Spice is one of a kind. The food, The Service and The Atmosphere was exquisite. You won't be disappointed I promise you. Staff are very friendly and they go that extra mile to keep you satisfied. Tried the SK Kebabish Box and it was so tasty. If you're more of a meat or chicken person then I suggest this. I also got lamb chops on top when they didn't charge me for it. Thank you to the team of SK Spice. Will be back again.

Fast and delicious food I recommend trying, sometimes food can be late but it's understandable and still tastes great!! Definitely eating here again.

2nd time I have ordered a takeaway from here in recent weeks. I have been ordering takeaways from the Mumbai for a number of years and I must say they were always excellent. I think the Mumbai has changed hands and it clearly shows. I understand that things are more expensive and prices have increased in my view that is perfectly acceptable. What is not acceptable is that the contents of takeaways that I have received most recently have been extremely disappointing. I ordered a lamb Rogan Josh and a buttered Paratha. The pieces of lamb in the curry were small and certainly was not worth the value charged. I had also noticed in comparison to my attendances over the years is that the kitchen was not busy there were only two members of staff and on a Friday it would be a very busy takeaway. The kitchen was quiet one customer coming to make a collection and left and for the time I waited for my meal no one else had come in. I will never be ordering a takeaway from the Mumbai again and I feel that the writing is on the wall and it will close in due course. The takeaways are poor to say the least.

Orded food took 1 hour and 40mins to deliver they originally said 45mins to and hour wait when phoned after an hour and 10 mins said was on its way to an additional 20 mins before a phone call to get them same answer before turning up and food being cold won't be ordering again what a shambles

Saag aloo + aloo methi + tandoori chicken + keema naan Potatoes under-cooked , chicken dry . Keema naan perfect .

Ordered food last night thru their own app at 5.50pm. Said 40 mins delivery. 1hr 20 mins later I called to ask where order was. Told 5-10 mins away - turned up 20 mins later. Starters missing. Had to call again. They onion Bhaji did arrive within 10 mins but had been deep fried to oblivion so weren’t edible. Rest of food was lukewarm so had to be microwaved. The guy on phone, who you can’t get a word in edgeways with, said they were busy. Maybe plan better than or limit orders or at least update your app with true delivery times. Won’t order again from here.

Got food from here and it was one of the worst experience ever. The meat was stale, not fit for human consumption.

Ordered on Just Eat. Apparently my food is still on the way so expressing my disappointment here instead. Half the starter was missing. No sauce or salad with the dry chicken wings. The Lamb Balti aloo was binned after a few mouthfuls. I've had better ready meal curries from the supermarket. The lamb was super tough and the sauce, whilst hot was bland and tasteless.

Absolutely the worst quality meal I've ever had. Ordered chicken tikka dansak which came with ordinary chicken and the curry sauce was so watery and with just a few chickpeas floating around. Also ordered and paid for 4 papadums but none in the bag when I got home (did receive chutney though). Definitely will not be going back.

Top Tier if you fancy an indian in the stockport area would highly recommend

Love this place, I live near Southall which is probably the curry capital of London but whenever I visit my sister I always make sure we get a takeaway from here as it is probably my fav takeaway in the UK.

Poor show ordered takeaway - it was inedible

not much flavor, not the worst but not that good, compared to some of the other curry houses on stockport road in Longsight id say very poor but was not to oily on the plus side!

I asked for a seekh kebab sandwich here last night. I was told they don't do them, but they could sell me some seekh kebab starter, a naan bread and some salad. And that's exactly what I got :the components, which I then assembled myself. Needless to say, it was rank.

Food at the Mumbai is well worth the wait but I would recommend phoning your in your order.
