SJ Chicken in Bexley

Good quality was not satisfactory, the chips tasted of old oil, the kids mean 1 piece chicken and chips was too spicy. And the tower burger well the bun was old and the chicken was greyish colour and tasted old.I would not order from here again.

I asked for a tub of hot sauce and got nothing 😩

Fried chicken shop with nice food, we tried wings which was very tasty, similar to KFC, also chicken was very tasty and crispy. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Chicken pieces are unseasoned, no flavour apart from fried chicken skin, love chicken skin but it's as if someone has coated chicken in flour and salt, no herbs or spices, chicken was cooked well but just bland, the colonel or anyone else who cooks fried chicken would be ashamed

Order never turned up and didn’t get any help from the restaurant as driver was on the way but never got food

£2.50 for just 6 small pieces of popcorn chicken felt like a complete joke. The fried chicken itself was mediocre, the skin wasn't very flavourful and the chicken itself was a bit dry and bland. All the food was rather lukewarm as well. Probably the most disappointed I've ever been in a takeaway.

I ate at this place for the first time and it was really good i liked it. It would be more great if they had chicken side breast. But overall the experience was amazing. The guy on cashier was great thank you.

5 bits of popcorn chicken for £2.50. Rip off

SORRY TO SAY SOME OF THE CHICKEN WAS NOT COOKED NEAR TO THE BONE SO COULD NOT EAT IT.

First time ordering from here and did so to find a new kfc as it’s a let down always forgetting stuff! The chicken was dry the skin you couldn’t even break apart with hands new a strong set of teeth to get through very hard! Shame because the chicken at a chicken shop should be the star of the show lol! However the chips were fresh hot and very tasty cooked well! The chicken wings were lovely spicy and soft chicken so made up for the other dry bits! All in all was ok I think I’ll order again to see if they get chicken right next time I like mine melt in the mouth!!

The chips were good. The wraps and wings were just oily and bland, had to bin them. Won’t reorder as Morley’s is better.

Food was nice enough, however found it somewhat concerning that the items individually priced were cheaper than combined as a meal. When I brought this to staffs attention it took them a while to realize I was correct. Not sure if anything has been done to rectify this.

I had chicken burgers they are very tasty , the chips are crispy cooked just right, portions are brilliant & the price is ok , its the 2nd time I've had food from SJ it won't be the last , they are brilliant on all levels thank you.

Very good chicken wings and chicken burger. All freshly cooked to order. Crispy on the outside and soft and moist on the inside. Never been to a chicken shop that cooks like this will definitely be back!

Food was cold when finally arrived. Chips have been cooked twice, they are rock solid and oily.

Food is really nice and it’s really good cheap value for money you get a lot with it I just hope they can continue to offer food cheap in the future good deals will be ordering from here a lot more often highly recommend trying out.

Food is unreal. Always fresh & hot. Chips are really nice too. It reminds me of an American diner the restaurant is really nicely layed out and spotlessly clean. Staff always polite. 100% recommend.

Great chicken, £5 a meal, healthy portions of chips. Chicken is always fresh, crispy outside moist middle. Hot wings are nice and the burgers are great. Best chicken shop in the area by far.

Highly recommend this chicken shop. The chicken is really crispy on the outside and never dry. The chips are looked when you order so it's nice and hot. The staff are really friendly and make sure the customer is happy. The design of the shop is really nice, nicer than your average chicken shop.
